For the last 15 months or so, I have faithfully submitted a Bible Study of some kind to be presented on the Barbados Underground platform. 

Most of these are power point presentations that I have previously delivered to audiences in my local church in Central Florid, some are quite new.  

I have also presented excerpts of material that I wrote while studying in online seminary twenty years ago, and a few were copied because of the extrinsic value within them. 

Since none of my work is copyrighted, readers are free to use any of my material judiciously in their efforts to share the Word of God, or in their endeavours to be Philologi. As I have freely been given, so do I freely give. 

This week we will share some thoughts on 2 Timothy 2: 1-7, on the Qualities of a Faithful Christian Worker.  In an ungodly and antagonistic world, believers must be strong servants or ministers who faithfully serve God and others. In this study of 2 Timothy 2: 1-7, we will harp on the disciplines of a strong servant or minister of Christ, that can be discerned from the first 7 verses of this chapter and the instructions that tell us  how we can become one. Paul asserts that  A Strong Minister Relies on God’s Grace v1, Faithfully Teaches God’s Word v2, Demonstrates the Attitude of a Good Soldier  v3-4, Competes Like an Athlete According to God’s Rules v5, Is Like a Hardworking Farmer v6, and is a Faithful Bible Student v7.

    The displays – including a prayer invoking Christ from the Senate rostrum by a QAnon shaman who broke into the Capitol – have so alarmed some faith leaders that they published an open letter Friday signed by more than 1,400 pastors and church leaders condemning the “perversion” of their faith.”

    The crux of the existential matter that is still prevalent today is how do people fit in a white world and the nuances on BU as exemplified by Waru and others is why even bother to conform to a society that rejects non-white people and cultures and how to push back against the tide of racist mind washing.

    Symbolism of white supremacy penetrates in many forms such as Christianity, Prejudice against other religions, Conservatism, Anti-Socialism, Trumpism, Nationalism, Rightwing Politics, Racist populist psyops, News propaganda, NWO, Wars, Brexit, Royal Family, Network of White English Speaking Commonwealth nations, Police killings and harassment, first amendment free speech, second amendment gun rights issues, law and order political platforms, internet, trolling, spin, propaganda. It is part and parcel of hidden history and present times. The United States Versus Billie Holiday shows that US Government targeted her because she dared to scream out about lynchings in her song “Strange Fruit” and they did not want to admit the sickness of their lynchings and racism, but they could not attack he on that issue so they chose to spy and bring her down on heroin usage. White English speaking nations like USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand are British Colonial captured lands and Caribbean countries are slave plantations with African descendants.

    As Covid was stored in labs for purpose of research such as biowarfare is it any surprise it was released into the world and west had a vaccine antidote solution. Is this just another example of the games these people play.

    GP I think what hal is referring to is the difference between the old traditional ways and the new more modern approaches to the church and rites. For example when Prince Philip dies though even he wants a more toned down affair, a small service with a burial at frogmore gardens, The Queen will mourn for eight days wear black, no bills will pass parliament flags lowered etc in the new modern era if lets say Megan Markle were to pass the Queen would just fart.

    I find this very prescient. It it something I have noticed another other African diasporans, especially those of us who are descendants of victims of the slave trade, feel a real alienation from Africa. They are Black, they are of African origin, but they often don’t associate themselves with Africa or other Africans in the diaspora. Since many of us do not know our specific African origin, in terms of ethnic group and language, I’ve noticed that there is real anxiety among diasporans about claiming Africa with pride. Even some of the most progressive, radical Africans I know often don’t associate themselves with Africa and these are people who often talk about “revolution” and “decolonization.” I rarely hear them put Africa and Africanization on the table as a form of decolonization. In my opinion, African culture (especially music, dance, and language) and spirituality play a huge role in reconnecting the African diaspora with Africa but it can often be a chore to make people take Africa, in general, seriously. What I have noticed is that there are some African diasporans who are curious about Africanization and Pan-Africanism but don’t know where to start. Then there are others who just want to be Americans, Spaniards, Latins, Frenchmen, or Portuguese/Brazilian people with Black skin and African ancestry; they want to be more European than African. But, to Ani’s point, they are embracing a world-view that is fundamentally destructive to them. Anyway, I just wanted to share some thoughts. “

    HERE IS A NOTE ABOUT THE SPECUALTIONS YOU LIKE TO USE IS WELL DESCRIBED THERE

    This verse is quite similar to verses 14 and 16. Only here the word used is speculation.
    It means a seeking, an enquiry, a questioning, a debate, a matter of controversy. It is a foolish argument. It is speculating about questions that we can’t know the answer to.

    It is one of the devil’s devices. AND YOU ARE DEFINITELY AN AGENT OF THE DEVIL

    There are many issues believers can waste their time on, and Satan is overjoyed whenever believers get involved in these pointless debates rather than busying themselves building God’s kingdom.

    Many of these issues are foolish speculation and nonsensical question for which there are no answers in the Bible. More over the answer would have no practical application for us. Spending time on these types of questions does not benefit us spiritually in any way. Instead these questions create conflict and disagreement. They create division.

    They waste believers’ time thinking about and studying about these things when we should be out loving others and sharing the gospel. Believers must waste their time on questions such as these.

    PROVERBS 26 V 1-5 ALSO DESCRIBES YOU AND THE TREATMENT THAT IS PRESCRIBED FOR THOSE OF YOUR ILK

    As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool.
    2 As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
    3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s back.

    4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
    5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

    How can Anglicanism be such a ‘godly’ thing but the very people who are its most enthusiastic adherents are deemed in your holy book to be nothing but a bunch of African monkeys and not even worthy of a banana skin of Christian kindness from you, a self-confessed blindly loyal lover of Jesus?

    How can you put down Africans when it comes to dealing with “WURA-War-on-U” but make a mockery of the same Africans when it suits your purpose?

    But then again, that’s your Christian modus operandi of double standards when it comes to black people like Obama and his family, Mia Mottley your prime wicker for a PM and Kamla Harris your presidential “hoe” in waiting.

    BTW, as a parting shot from a religiosity gun, since Anglicanism is such beautiful denomination of perfect Christianity why did you commit an act of unforgivable apostasy by backsliding only to join an end-of-the-world cult of the Jim Jones variety?

    Does the fault underlying your breakaway from that English falsehood lie with the homosexual advances made by the Anglican priest and choir master or was it due to your inability to resist the pull of that English disease perfected in the Anglican church by no bigger a queer than King-cum-queen James?

    The establishment of religions and various factions are more about power and control and social rules to control people and is also the reasons why religious movements by people are suppressed and curtailed has nothing to do with religion per se.
    Christianity was about conquered people against rule of Roman Empire
    Protestantism was against Catholic or Eastern Orthodox power
    Protestants versus Catholics in Ireland and Scotland was about rule of British Empire
    Nazis against Jews was about nationalism against immigrants who were successful
    Fight against Muslims was about West versus East for Wold Dominion
    Religions are outdated historical and cultural constructs and in these times people are free to chose their own philosophies about life religion spirituality
