I queried family members and I was told that even after Mrs. Atwell died she still refused to claim her half of the Estate. She could have sent her own lawyers. Any reputable overseas lawyer could handle her affairs.

Ermine was the only Holder. Neither Ursuline or Glenda are Holders. Marie worshiped Ermine as did Marie’s Aunt. Ermine was the intelligent daughter who attended Alexandra, was an American Field Scholar. When Mr. Holder received his OBE, he took Ermine.

@ Mariposa, Jackie did not meet most of the family until 2016. Our cousin Carl keeps a very strict family tree going back to the 1600’s and we are all in it. I have not overheard anything, I was designated as the family rep to dispel any false allegations that Jackie makes. Since she took to Facebook, we have been bombarded with calls from older family members and emails from concerned friends who are dismayed by her behavior. We fully support Ms. Harewood’s right to get her half of the estate while she can still enjoy it. However, innuendo and half-truths will not help the cause.

@ John, in 2018, DNA rules out who is who and who is not. If you look at Ermine and Ellsworth Holder you know immediately that they were father and daughter, Ermine was pretty explicit about her rights as a blood relative.
@ John, Ren Holder was very generous to some branches of our family. Most of the young women were employed in his household until they got married or started families and would be replaced by another. Marie Stewart was the last and most enduring. Most of them were given land and houses and they never took care of them most of the homes were left in a state of disrepair and abandoned. Same in this current situation–when people work and invest in something–they value and take care of it.

Anyone who has had the faintest contact the law as it relates to wills knows that every will revokes the previous one that is why it is described as being the LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT. When a person wants to change his will he either makes a new will or alters the contents of the previous one by way of a codicil.

Both of the wills can be valid as in not forgeries but it is the most recent one that counts!!
