The FBI is investigating the death of George Floyd, black man who was pinned on the neck by a police officer and later died in custody. Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison joins The Beat with Ari Melber’s breaking coverage on the latest from the FBI and the protests. While the officers involved have yet to be charged, Ellison argues a “quick arrest” might “make people feel better about justice” it is “important” for investigators to “take the time to make sure that these charges, if they are brought forward, stick.

    How Opioids Were Used as Weapons During the Moscow Theater Hostage Crisis

    Many countries classify powerful opioids like carfentanil as chemical weapons.

    In October 2002, after Chechen rebels stormed a Moscow theater and trapped more than 800 people for 57 hours, it seemed like it couldn’t get much worse. Then Russian troops released a mysterious gas into the theater. The gas was intended to incapacitate the rebels—which it did—-but it also ended up killing more than 120 of the hostages.

    That gas contained carfentanil, an opioid 10,000 times more powerful than morphine and 100 times more powerful than fentanyl. Fentanyl has received increased media attention in recent years because of the U.S. opioid crisis, but carfentanil has also been seeping into the American drug market and causing overdose deaths. So yes, carfentanil is a drug that Americans are overdosing on—and it’s also a weapon banned by the Chemical Weapons Convention.

    As the then-unknown gas filled the theater, hostages and rebels alike passed out or died immediately. Russian officers dragged everyone out and packed both living and dead hostages onto the same buses and cars, says David Satter, a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and author of The Less You Know, the Better You Sleep: Russia’s Road to Terror and Dictatorship under Yeltsin and Putin.

    “Bodies were piled one on top of another outside the theater entrance, with no attempt to separate the living from the dead,” Satter writes in his book. “Alexander Karpov, a well-known songwriter, died after spending seven hours alive in a bus packed with corpses. In another case, thirty hostages were put in a twelve-seat military microbus, some on the floor. A thirteen-year-old girl was crushed under the bodies and died on the way to a hospital.

    Firstly the other three cops not presenting a “united front” is no surprise..they are facing aiding and abetting murder charges. The fact that Chauvin was the “senior” officer “training” the other three explains the “deer in the headlights” reaction of the other officers.. It means that the charges on the three may not stick as they” acted under duress”. The main person is Chauvin he committed the actual homicide.
    Chauvin’s mind has already been established as “depraved”. The club owner, that both Chauvin and Floyd worked at, basically stated that Chauvin was racist. He already had a history of complaints working in the police force. He MOST LIKELY recognized Floyd and took out his racist anger on him at THAT moment. Its no rocket science Chauvin commited 2nd DEGREE MURDER based on his racist bias.

    If you have cancer and three days to live and a person shoots you, you are dead from the gunshot, not the cancer.

    On the three officers being part of the murder. At any point, each or any of them could have got off him, told Chavin to stop. That is as a rational human being.

    Add, that they were on the street as practising officers, means that the police authority recognises their capability and status as professional police officers.

    They, and the force and state of Minneapolis, are liable for the death of George Floyd.

    End of story.

    Travis McMichael, the murder suspect in the death of Ahmaud Arbery, allegedly called Arbery the N-word after the shooting, according to a detective in the case. TMZ reports during Thursday’s preliminary hearing, Agent Richard Dial of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation took the stand and stated how William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. told police he heard McMichael call Arbery a “f—ing n—” as he lay on the ground after being shot. There is currently no word on whether or not this could lead to hate crime charges.

    Dial went on to say that he was aware of other examples of McMichael using racial slurs, as found in his cell phone and on social media. He allegedly made a violent comment towards the black community on an Instagram post: “blow that [N-word’s] head off.” It was not made clear who he was referring to. Dial also stated that somewhere online McMichael stated that “he loved his job ’cause he was on a boat and there weren’t any n-words anywhere.” Additionally, Dial commented on the security cam footage of Arbery visiting an under-construction home ahead of his death. He stated that he found no evidence that Arbery took anything from the site.

    Even when John’s whole family including himself are victimized by thieves for decades, thieves who look just like him along with the house negros of parliament and thieving lawyers, who are one and the same, (as evidenced in the above video) all he can see in his destroyed mind is black people taking the blame for his woes, which he thinks makes him feel better……that is a sad existence, instead of getting up and going after the criminals in Barbados, both the racist criminal minorities of his ilk of which there a quite a few hundred and the thieving criminal syndicate from the Bar Association, as many of us on BU have been doing for years and years, he much prefer wallow in hate and self pity.

    There are two Americas, one is functional, the other dysfunctional.

    The functional one is run by Republicans.

    The dysfunctional one is run by Democrats.

    Look at the times when what you call “Institutional Racism” raised its head.

    It is in Dysfunctional America if not always, then almost always.

    Look at the recent COVID-19 pandemic.

    Dysfunctional America suffered greatest.

    Trump has exposed Governors in Dysfunctional America.

    In the COVD pandemic he told them the President could intervene.

    The biggest set of noise was raised by Cuomo.

    Trump simply left the responsibility to the Governors and mayors.

    Those in Functional America got through, those in Dysfunctional America screwed up.

    No military forces have been sent anywhere.

In America it is not even crypto, it is practised by institutions in this case the Police departments. White Commissioners of Police in the USA have admitted it and we have someone on Barbados Underground denying it. Then again, it is not surprising, we have Blacks doing it too.     Unbelievable. “That’s what I would do if I were the President, I would lay out the facts.” It is rare for the police to kill anybody.

    Unbelievable….this needs to be shared and shared, over and over. What happened to Mr. Floyd was horrifying and unacceptable but so are the riots and violence which really have nothing to do with his death. They are an excuse, there is more in the mortar than the pestle in my opinion!

    Week Before I was Speaking about Mask being of No Value…The WHO is Also Advocating that healthy people should not wear Mask, but everywhere Freedom travels in Barbados, even people walking on the Road by themselves are wearing mask. I have even seen people driving in air-conditioned vehicles wearing Mask. Therefore, I am going in the opposite direction than most people are going in.

    I have also said that the Economy of Barbados has been Destroyed and Seven people died of the Virus from China. They have more deaths of other people dying in the Lockdown period than the Seven from Covid. The Lockdown is not finished yet, people are still wearing Mask and they have had people who died from gun shots and they are going to have more people die from Despair, lack of Nutritious Food, No Money to Buy Medicine and it will be more than forty five deaths than all the people who died of Covid in the Caribbean and you said Freedom was Unfeeling then but All I was saying is that it Does Not Make Sense.

    Fast Forward to Today…Everyone wants to point a finger at America for being Racist, but out of the Three Hundred and Thirty million People …One Man is Guilty of Killing a man and Three Men charged with being Complicit and Abetting, and America is Rioting? It Does Not make Sense.

    An American has the Right to Protest and in Barbados we have to get a Licence to Protest from the Police and in Both Countries Nobody has the Right to Burndown other People’s Property.

    They have more people who have died since the Rioting started, by the Rioters than All the Deaths associated with Police and Unarmed people in the whole of 2019. That Makes No Sense.

    Moreover, as for the Verbal Outrage of People in Barbados, Freedom is reading constantly of the hundreds of thousands of Muslims that have been locked up in China in Slave Camps and sometimes their organs are Harvested. Where are their Rights and why aren’t you Protesting. In China now if you Refuse to Tow the Party line and if you Criticise Anything about the Government you will receive a Low Social Score and not be permitted to Travel by Train.

    The Protesters who are Protesting in Hong Kong for Freedom, I am not hearing anybody on BU or in Barbados Protesting in Solidarity with the people from Hong Kong.

    It Makes No Sense for Barbados not to Protest in Favour of Hong Kong. But what we are hearing is Invitations for the Communist Chinese Party to Operate Ports in the Caribbean and other people of influence Encouraging Barbados to Borrow Money from the CCP. It Makes No Sense.

    And in the Caribbean we have People who are Prisoners on their Island and if you Speak out against the Government you are thrown in Gail. In addition, to the South of Barbados people are so Poor and Destitute they can even Protest, who are eating out of the Garbage and Certain Caribbean Leaders are Supporting those Governments…It Makes No Sense.

    People in Barbados Now want the Government of Barbados to Protest to the Government of America about Mr. Floyd because he was killed by a Policeman and saying we have plenty Brothers and Sisters in America Right Now so we must Protest. But Freedom says, if our Brothers and Sisters in America think they are being Oppressed, then Come Back Home to the Caribbean, you will be welcomed. However, they would not come back because it is sweeter there than here.

    Therefore to Ask the Barbados Government to make a Complaint to the American Government…It Makes No Sense. George Floyd’s Death was a Tragedy and is being Dealt with. There is no one in America in their Right mind that does not believe that it was Not a Tragedy!

    WE HAVE NUFF PROBLEMS HERE, LET AMERICA TAKE CARE OF THEIR PROBLEMS, IT IS STILL A FREE SOCIETY AND JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED. That Makes Sense.

    For those who Wrongfully Accuse people of All kinds of Wrongs, Freedom wants to say something…In my life I have made many mistakes and I am trying to Repent of those mistakes, including Taking Away the Pointed Finger…But I cannot Repent of Something that I have Not Done neither can I atone for a Wrong that I have Not Wronged, Neither will I accept a Sin that I have Not Sinned.     My whole family has not been victimized by thieves!!

    Some of my family I have never met.

    One lived in Dysfunctional America, the first cousin who died of COVID – 19 due to lung issues caused by experience at Ground Zero.

    He was 21 years older than I am.

    He did the opposite, he victimized thieves.

    You see, it can work the other way too.

    But you have to decide to make life into what you want it to be.

    You may well be successful.

    I used to hear about John growing up, he was 20 years older.

    He and his siblings were orphaned and ended up in an orphanage.

    Joined the Marines and went to Korea as a teenager, underage.

    Elder sister probably had to sign for him but I was told he lied about his age.

    Used the perquisites afforded by the military to improve himself and shared the cost of a home for his older and younger siblings as did many poor boys of the era.

    When he returned he joined the NYPD and served for 2 years.

    A friend advised him to go to the FDNY which he did as he was bound to get himself in trouble if he stayed in the NYPD as his mouth had no cover.

    Some of Trump’s influential supporters realise that it is now impossible for him to win the upcoming election using any legitimate aspect of the traditional democratic playbook. So Plan B appears to be now being put in place. Plan B is managed Insurrection and chaos, masterminded by a well placed puppet.

    Some clues that the implementation of Plan B has already started are clearly seen in the news from Washington over the last 2 or so days. eg. The almost inexplicable deployment of a large, well equipped, anonymous but highly visible para military external force on Washington’s streets; No sign of that force being slated for disbanding or being made less visible despite progress in the George Floyd matter, as already seen in a gradual reduction of that tension outside of Washington DC; No explanation of any legitimate justification for the force’s deployment; etc.

    Yesterday’s news of the positive reaction by some MIlitary people to Trump’s egregious actions is a step in the right direction but more current top military leaders must respect their sworn duties and cast off any allegiance they think they have to Trump in order to have a significant impact on the actions already taken by his people.

    The world is now in a very dangerous place. Covid-19 is not yet through with us. Most economies are floundering. An unstable USA can cause and exacerbate severe instability in many of our countries. A weakened US can become a very attractive prey for some of its competitor and enemy countries.

    Adults in the US Government must be vigilant. These are dangerous times for all.

    But that wall around the White House has been reported to be a 9 foot wire fencing barricade and that some people placed a large number of bricks against it to make it easier to do damage to the White House windows. I wonder who would be stupid enough or strategic enough to do that?
