Th historically passive Bajan continues to explore non violent tactics to express disapproval to the myriad of concerns prevailing our once small proud country. With the emergence of technology and along with it the exponential growth of social media, two BU regulars have come up with the idea to create posters to graphically detail our concerns and to use social media as a vehicle to communicate those concerns.

Here are a few posters which have been created so far by Sunshine Sunny Shine and pieceuhderockyeahright and one other. BU posted a couple to Twitter under the hashtag #bajanswantchange. All creative Barbadians are encouraged to create posters and post to social media platforms using the hashtag #bajanswantchange or any other which resonates with the theme. What should be the motivation? A functional democracy calls for all citizens to participate 24/7. Once every five years is disengagement by any definition.

    See how Buffalo Stinkliar has bloated heself so big that, after his tailor said that making suits for him was tekking he too long and causing he to loose other clients, he, Stinkliar, had to get a tummy tuck like de woman at Caribbean Export, to fit in a new “wardrobe”.

    Barbadians wish he cud shrink the deficit and constrain the spending of his Wild Bunch of Ministers, like he shrink he guts!!!

    The Image has two words in its headline – NEVER AGAIN.

    But it is probably the most powerful of ALL the posters that Piece O. D. Rock, Bajan Advocate for Change of the Government has posted.

    The font for the 2 Headliner Words depicts “Drops of Blood”, the blood of hundred of thousands of average Bajan Citizens suffering under this government.

    When the Election Bell Rings in 2017, the Democratic Labour Party representatives ARE ALL GOING TO BE VOTED OUT.

    They are the worst government Barbados has had in 50 years of the country’s independence and it is time for them to all go home.

    I cannot believe the suggestion of Dr. David Durant, so I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt to defend his position on a money incentive for married couples to produce more babies. Note that Dr. Durant is promoting more babies amongst married couplesbase on the fact that he is man of the sacred cloth. I wonder what would happen when live together couples decide to take up the offer and produce more babies to get the money. Or, is Dr. Durant going to stipulated with some vehemence that only married couples qualify for this benefit and others getting involve in the act baby manufacturing will be left out to sea. I telling wunna now, LET THE WAR BEGIN!!!!

    I am here, fighting the good fight, ever constant.

    The unfortunate thing about this campaign, as with all things Bajan and West Indian is out lack of any middle ground so to speak.

    We are in a little boat wth an outboard motor and in order to get the boat go left you must push the throttle arm ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT, into the waiting hands of the Troika.

    we are here fighting for country and 95 or more percent just are in wuk up mode perpetually.

    I have a few additional things up my sleeve, so to speak, to “enhance the campaign” but all in good time.

    You are constrained by your artist/graphics guy’s absence and that should not be.

    The Solution is quite simple

    A topsy is a “dated item” and the younger viewers do not know what it is.

    In Irish mythology, the pot of gold is hidden at the end of a rainbow by a small member of the fairy family called the leprechaun.

    Humans who are lucky enough to spot a leprechaun by following the rainbow only have to catch him for him to bestow great wealth on them.

    That feat of catching the leprechaun (or is that Leroy the Leper??) may still be a problem since fairies bestowed upon leprechauns the magical ability to disappear. Like CLICO policyholders money disappeared and like the Fatted King disappeared

    The way in which the Public Coffers of the People of Barbados have been raided, for the last 8 years, under the administration of the Demonic Labour party DLP, one has to believe that the fairies did bestow that disappearing power on the money in the Treasury.

    Certainly the rate at which Governor of the Central Bank has been printing the money that would confirm the boundless supply of money in the pot of gold

    When I looked at the picture I was looking for the “matching SUV” since the jeep looked like one of them and I could not understand where the other jeep was or why it was showing a woman.

    THe DLP cant even afford the free bus fares for children to get to school and here he is recommending that they pay parents to breed and then pay them for their offspring?

    Yet somebody will tell the Senator under whose watch David the Fatted King was not to have died, “Senator, that breeding idea is an excellent idea” as it relates to promoting population fecundity (in its right and wrong context).
