The FBI is investigating the death of George Floyd, black man who was pinned on the neck by a police officer and later died in custody. Minnesota’s Attorney General Keith Ellison joins The Beat with Ari Melber’s breaking coverage on the latest from the FBI and the protests. While the officers involved have yet to be charged, Ellison argues a “quick arrest” might “make people feel better about justice” it is “important” for investigators to “take the time to make sure that these charges, if they are brought forward, stick.

    GP you are being a nuisance and disingenuous. With the eric garner situation the media and activists are quick to call any situation where a suspect says I can’t breathe strangulation. Strangulation will give a more visceral response than brain anoxia (I think that is the term because hypoxia means a lack of oxygen, you may correct me if I am wrong)

    I ONCE HAD A WHITE POLICEMAN PULLED ME OVER IN THE US AFTER LEAVING A NIGHTCLUB AT ABOUT 2AM IN THE MORNING.

    I HAD SEVERAL ALCOHOL DRINKS PRIOR IN THE NIGHTCLUB.

    I WAS ASKED TO STEP OUT MY VEHICLE AND TO FOLLOW SEVERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO SEE WHETHER I WAS IMPAIRED AS HE SAID HE PULLED ME OVER AS I WAS SWERVING WHILST DRIVING.

    I EXPLAINED THAT I HAD JUST MOVED TO THE AREA AFTER JUST GETTING OUT THE MILITARY AND WAS HEADED BACK TO MY NEW APARTMENT.

    I WAS TOLD FROM THE TEST GIVEN THAT HE FELT I WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE BUT WOULD GIVE ME A BREAK AND NOT TO LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN.

    WITH THAT I WAS HANDED BACK MY DRIVERS LICENSE, INSURANCE DOCUMENT AND GIVEN DIRECTIONS TO THE SHORTEST ROUTE TO MY APARTMENT.

    THIS WHITE POLICEMAN DID HIS JOB IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER, HE WAS ALONE AND APPROACHED MY CAR WITH HIS GUN DRAWN INITIALLY WHILST ASKING FOR MY DRIVERS LICENSE AND INSURANCE.

    IT WAS CLEAR HE WAS DOING HIS JOB WHEN HE APPROACHED THE CAR.

    MANY POLICEMEN IN THE US HAVE BEEN GUNNED DOWN OR RAN OVER WHEN STOPPING CARS DRIVEN BY WHITE, BLACK OR HISPANICS THIS HAS HAPPENED IN THE DAYTIME FURTHER MORE AT LATE NIGHT HOURS.

A second autopsy was ordered I suspect because the coroner is not a pathologist and a more thorough one is needed. Only a pathologist can do such

    Then why didn’t the other cops who pulled me over at night didn’t have the same approach? A few of them were alone

    After I changed to a newer model I got pulled over once for speeding

    I am tired of the protests and call for justice by the black community in the USA. They should armed themselves and start an urban warefare in that coutry. They have enough guns in the system. Any other group of people wouldn’t tolerate that crap. Justice like they don’t tolerate that in the hood. The US military is poor at fighting urban warfare. With the history of maltreatment of blacks in that country, makes you wonder the lack of a black militant organization like what emerged in Palestine.
