The following invoice is meant to shed light on the settling of the Estate of Marie Stewart as requested by the BU family.
Based on what has been made public so far is it true to conclude that the land being disputed represents part of the estate therefore it is not accurate to state it is the property of any of beneficiaries in the Will? This is the part of the dispute the blogmaster is struggling to understand.

I believe you are better off not taking any documents from George Payne’s Office seriously…they more more than likely fraudulent. ..because the estate does not belong to Payne nor Dale Marshall…they had no right selling it without the CONSENT of the last living beneficiary. ..it is not theirs nor Justice Worrell nor all those involved in this theft…to do with as they like. ..no lawyer gets to determine who owns an estate when hired by a client…the WILL outlines who benefits…the estate was never eschewed to the state..there is a living beneficiary..
Besides…it has to be sorted out through UK now.
We hope to see all the thieves involved exposed even more and possibly locked up somewhere.
And as Karma will have it…well let’s just say…they will not get away with this…none of them.

I believe we have been barking up the wrong tree with respect to the $200,000 “loan”, some of us were thinking of loan in the traditional sense but there was no material change in her living conditions. I think that this “loan” was an accumulation of Estate expenses and the Invoice which shows a balance of $98,549 must have increased exponentially due to other fees and interest costs over time e.g. the Estate would have been charged for the cost of defending it against the lawsuit filed by the other beneficiary.

That expanded invoice confirms the above, there is a word that I can use for those “interest” charges, but as I also wrote that bill was the impetus for the land sale. In more enlightened societies the client could have asked that the bill be assessed but the local Bar doesn’t have such a creature.
There is a phrase “House poor” used to describe people with a valuable property but who lack income or finances, the deceased was ‘land poor” and lacked both income and finances, however was part heiress to some valuable Real Estate.

This is a normal invoice – unlike other invoices from crooked DLP-lawyers without VAT.
It is also obvious that some client has not paid the fees, given the amount of interest.
We need a debtor´s prison for such clients in Barbados where they have to work very hard to make up for the money. This would save lots of money for a new sugar factory.
It is time to write a letter to College of Law in UK and see if George Payne actually attended there, send a copy of the letter from the Regulations Board in UK showing he never qualified as a Solicitor as he is claiming in Barbados..,

If the grandmother fired him for stealing her property.., he should not be invoicing her 12 years after she died.., he should not have returned to steal her land after she died.., he was FIRED for theft of property already.,,

Barbados needs to be kept on a blacklist until all the land theft is sorted out, because that is what the land thieves want and that is what the government wants…blacklisting worldwide.
Most of the comments here are in the Trumpian vein;if you disagree then it is “fake.” I read all of the posts including the letters that Jackie Stewart received from the regulatory bodies in the United Kingdom and I fail to see where the response said the Mr. Payne is not an attorney. What the later did state that he was not a practicing or li sensed attorney in the United Kingdom. What I find bothersome is that the invoices and other statements allude to a vast estate and the appointment of two sisters as executrix. Why did Marie Stewart not appoint Glenda Stewart as an executrix and why are the Stewart’s now coming forward. If Marie Stewart died eight years ago, why did they not fly to Barbados and take care of their affairs? It is easy to blame others and gain public sympathy to compensate for one’s own negligence. I would like to see their receipts for the land taxes and other expenses that maintaining the estate would warrant. There are always two sides to any story and as an open-minded and critical person I would like to hear a more rational story rather than the ranting and profane daily videos that are not worthy of empathy. Provide a dignified history substantiated by documents and I believe more of a cross-section of the population might be more empathetic.
It’s nobodies business who appointed whom as executrix…the point is there is a living beneficiary and Payne and his land thieves should not have stolen the beneficiaries estate…and sold it…against the grandmother’s wishes against the surviving beneficiaries wishes…that is what they are going to have to explain…the executrix had no right consenting to any sale without her sister’s knowledge..
Besides..this is the talk of the town on the ground in Barbados and all you hear is how many hundreds and possibly thousands of old people they have all robbed of their estates in the last forty or more years…the stories sound like something out of a horror film, these evil land thieves…the island wants a clean up from these criminals that are members of the bar association…the criminals in the judiciary and in the business community….
Any documents from the beneficiary to the estate…should be going only to the relevant people who know what to do…..Payne was already fired for robbing the grandmother ..he had no right going back in after waiting for her to die..to suffer, rip off and leave the executrix to die in filth to steal the estate..he gotta explain that the scum.
This is the perfect time for all the names of the lawyers and all their co-conspirators who ripped off estates from old people and their beneficiaries over the last 40 or 50 years to be exposed worldwide, make them all famous, we have been waiting for this for years…

Total year;land tax appears to be about $3,000.00 If you can pay land tax for a few years and then walk away with an estate, that not a bad ROI.

Land taxes were not paid even prior to Marie Stewart’s death. The beach land was the least valuable of the entire estate but there is a fixation on that piece. Having peruse all of the Estate documents provided by Mrs. Atwell in her wake, I see nowhere was the land at Weston ever deeded to Ms. Hardwood. Her mother died 8 years ago and she has known that she was a beneficiary since then. What steps did she undertake to be in the loop with Mrs. Atwell. It is easier to cast blame when you were neglectful and now want to garner public sympathy.

The days of trickery by Barbados Lawyers are FASTLY coming to an end thanks to Social Media.
In response to Sargeant’s inquiry, their half remains unclaimed and they have taken no steps to return to the island and take over. From what I learned, they failed even come forward and claim Mrs. Atwell’ body despite being notified of her death the same day and did not attend her funeral. As of now the entire family will disavow them as we find their public behavior unbecoming. There are lawyers outside of Barbados who attend to these matters every day and are well-versed in cutting through bureaucracy and politics. From our purview, they want bloggers to further their cause without their being transparent.
Why did George Payne file an application for Letter Testamentary when there was a valid will? This is definitely not the norm.
I assure you, Mr. Or Ms. Corruption and Rouge, far from being associated with Mr Payne et al, I am an adversary of his, however, I am savvy enough to know that social media is a double-edged sword and by continuing to cast aspersions without concrete proof and legal guidance, the Stewart’s risk losing more than they will gain.
There are many family members who are privy to the intricacies of this Estate which has been in a legal mess since 1975. Any less than untoward legal shenanigans have occurred due to neglect and procrastination which is a thief of time.
In response to Ms. Cole, letters is testamentary have nothing to do with whether a valid will exist, these letter grant an executor or executrix the ability to act.
The correct forum for the resolution of this sad affair is a court of law with extramural counsel.
Heather Cole an application for Probate/ Letters Testamentary is the process used when there is a Will present. Letters Testamentary is the document given to the executor by the Court to enable him to deal with the deceased’s be estate.

Marie Stewart/Ellsworth Holder may have had siblings who produced offspring who are cousins but if the will left the property to Ursuline, Ermine and Glenda, how do these cousins get into the mix?
Did Ursuline or Ermine leave wills disposing of their thirds?

Why did he prepare the Power of Attorney of Marie Stewart to Ermine and Ursuline?
$27 was paid to ASSENT part of the property. It does not name the property, the date or to whom the property was transferred.
It seems as though charges were racked up in the name of the estate, like milking a cash cow when this could have gone to ASSENT upon the death of Marie given that there was a valid will.
Anyone who have dealt with the High/Supreme Court of Barbados should have no confidence that the Stewarts would get a positive result in this case because George Walton Payne & Co have long long practice the art of FRAUD aided by some Judges on the Bench who are friends and partners in crime.
I wish it wasn’t so.
Both Ermine Atwell and Ursuline Stewart had Wills. Unless Barbados has a lapse clause in its estate law, then Ursuline’s part reverted back to the Estate because she pre-deceased her mother and hence two halves.
It is unfortunate the family dirty business is being outed in the full glare of social media for many with agendas to gloat. The blogmaster wants to know why the lengthy period before the Stewarts stepped forward and the question remains, was the land bequeathed to the Stewarts or was it part of the Estate. There needs to be dispassionate probing of the matter. It is the only way the truth can be discovered.

Ursuline predeceased Marie Stewart, is that why half of the estate is referred to?
If Ursuline left a will and had heirs although childless, when Marie Stewart wrote her will would she not have included those heirs?
Does Ermine have heirs/assigns although childless?
I noticed the piece of the will of Marie Stewart as displayed did not specify heirs/assigns to the three beneficiaries.

What would add to the discussion is to hear the position of the other family members read the beneficiaries of Ermine and Ursuline. Are they happy with how the matter has been settled so far?
The Last Will and Testament of Marie Stewart was a very poorly drafted document. The reason why I caution against these inflammatory videos is because any torts for shabby representation will be slandered by hysterical utterances based on emotions and not on law. I do not believe Jackie is doing justice to her mother, rather her public parading of her mother and encouraging her to make public statements hinder and diminish any legal standing.
