The story unfolding in the USA where children of undocumented immigrants are being separated from their parents continues to choke global newsfeeds. There is not much the blogmaster can say except that children are innocent. The question seems to be whether lawmakers need to amend an existing law which is being enforced by the authorities or whether President Trump should use the power given him to exert an executive prerogative.

The BU household hopes that the leadership in the US will resolve the matter soon!

    Terry was murdered in 2010 by an illegal alien with a weapon used in the epically botched Operation Fast and Furious. He died in a gunfight between Border Patrol agents and members of a six-man cartel “rip crew,” which patrolled the desert along the U.S.-Mexico border looking for drug dealers to rob. The cartel member suspected of k*****g Terry was apprehended in 2017.

    Terry’s family, specifically his brother Kent Terry want the scandal to be investigated and those responsible to be held accountable for their actions.

    Yet, Obama consistently states his administration was “scandal-free”. When reminded of scandals such as Fast and Furious that took place on his watch, Obama referred to them as “phony scandals”.

    American Thinker had this to say of so-called “phony scandals” stating – “Phony scandals are those that do not have a smidgeon of evidence of a crime, like alleged Trump collusion with the Russians or obstruction of an investigation that was never stopped or even slowed down. Phony scandals do not produce body bags as the Obama administration produced in Benghazi and during Operation Fast and Furious — the Obama administration’s gn-running operation in which it armed Mexican drug lords and cartels with heavy weapons for which the U.S. Border Patrol had no match or protection. That gn-running operation led to the m****r of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.”

    Trump Finally Acts on Border Child Separation Policy, But Will the Left Be Pleased?

    No.

    The left is never happy with Trump.

    In fact, it’s incredibly disgusting how almost disappointed some of them seen that the incredibly evocative narrative they’ve been milking for over a week has finally dried up.

    Why has it dried up?

    Because Trump signed an executive order Wednesday putting an end to the highly controvesial practice of separating children from parents in detainment at the border.

    In classic Trump fashion, he’s shoving right back in the Democrats’ faces everything they thought they had him on.

    The Hill has the story:

    President Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order intended to end family separations at the southern border, giving in to intense bipartisan pressure on an issue that had drawn worldwide condemnation of his administration.

    Trump told reporters in the Oval Office before signing the document that his “zero tolerance” policy against illegal border crossing will remain in place, but that the order allows children and their parents to remain together in custody.

    “We’re going to have strong, very strong borders, but we’re going to keep the families together,” Trump said. “I didn’t like the sight or the feeling of families being separated.”

    As he signed the order, Trump added: “You’re going to have a lot of happy people.”

    Not so fast, Mr. President. There aren’t a lot of happy people, because again, they were actually totally loving being able to compare Trump to a Nazi almost actuately for once in their life.

    No, everyone on the left immediately just started complaining that the decision did not reverse the zero-tolerance policy, i.e. ALL THEY EVER WANTED WAS OPEN BORDERS.

    That said, there remains a massive problem of 50,000+ crashing the US border monthly.
    A Sovereign nation must have the right to determine who enters.
    Just for sport, the US should use their massive transports, and fly plane loads to the Canadian border, and suggest they crash that border.

    Now, I would like you to EXERCISE a little PATIENCE with me as I seek your indulgence.

    I am also requesting that you to take a few things INTO consideration…… FIRST……….before responding and subsequently CUSSING me using “capital letters.”

    Firstly, according to you, I’m a “Bible Illiterate.” Secondly, according to de Dribbler, I have a problem with comprehension and an inability to think critically. Thirdly, Well Well “diagnosed” me with having occasional or reoccurring “psychotic breaks,” (for which she “prescribed” medication)………..

    …………….and last, but not least…….I have been described as being “appallingly ignorant” by BU’s resident PANTOMATH, the illustrious Hal Austin.

    Additionally, let me ISSUE a DISCLAIMER…….I never had any desire to visit America….I don’t CARE about Obama, Trump, Clinton, Kennedy or even “good ole” Abe Lincoln. I am NOT like most Barbadians that prefer watching NFL, NBA, MLB or the NHL, which have become extremely popular among Barbadians. (I prefer things West Indian).

    Georgie Porgie, you often RESPONDED to Trump’s critics by mentioning that GOD raise up kings and quote scriptures as proof.

    I interpret this to mean we should not criticize Trump, because according you: “HE WILL BE THERE UNTIL THE GOD WHO MIRACULOUSLY PUT HIM THERE………REMOVES HIM……………SO GET USED TO IT.”

    You mentioned “GOD WHO MIRACULOUSLY PUT HIM THERE,” as it relates to Trump. In the case of Obama, could we likewise assume: “GOD WHO MIRACULOUSLY PUT HIM THERE?”

    My questions to you are, if “the governing authorities are established or allowed by GOD,” and “for there is no authority except that which GOD has established,”…………..

    ………..is it REASONABLE to CONCLUDE that GOD also “established or allowed” Barrack Obama?

    Judging from your comments you seem not to CONDONE anyone that CRITICIZES Trump because he was APPOINTED by GOD. If I hold fast to your argument, Obama had to be established by GOD as well, so why are you so critical of the man, calling him a “buller” and some of the most vile names one could think of?

Obama’s reluctance to condemn the actions of radical Islam, both within and without the United states, his refusal to acknowledge the connection of Islam to acts of terrorism, including the murder, rape and torture of Christians in the Middle East, and his actual participation in what appears to be a kind of cultural covert action aimed at undermining traditional America, paints a shocking picture of a man who is more Muslim than the Christian he claims to be, more Marxist in his ideology than the Constitutional scholar the news media has made him out to be and as corrupt in his use of federal agencies as any Chicago-style mafia boss.

    The Damage Done to America’s Constitutional, political and cultural fabric may be irreparable.     Bill O’Reilly told Newsmax TV on Wednesday that President Donald Trump should had determined “in three hours” the border separation crisis would harm his administration.

    “It took the Trump administration three days to figure that out,” O’Reilly told “The Joe Walsh Show” in an interview. “It should’ve taken them three hours.”

    He characterized Trump’s executive order as “a battle for the hearts and minds of the American people, just like the Vietnam War was.

    “You have two sides: You have the people in America who are disenchanted with the direction of the country who generally support Donald Trump because he wants to get back to unfettered capitalism, he wants to have secured borders, and a tough foreign policy.

    “Then, you have the ‘hate-Trumpers,’” O’Reilly continued. “That includes a segment of the Republicans — about 10 percent — that despise the man for varying reasons.

    “You have this battle, this struggle — and, of course, the media is 90 percent on the side of the hate-Trump people.”

    O’Reilly noted President Trump was helped by the North Korean summit in Singapore last week with dictator Kim Jong Un and the release of the Justice Department inspector general’s report attacking the FBI for its work on the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

    “Both of those things helped Donald Trump,” O’Reilly told Walsh.

    But, then, “the press got wind that — legally — U.S. Border Patrol authorities were separating adults who cross illegally into the USA and their children so the adults can be adjudicated,” he said.

    “The press blew it up into ‘the Trump administration, and President Trump himself, are abusing children. Hurting children.’

    “Americans of all ideologies are not going to sit by and watch children get hurt, no matter who they are,” O’Reilly explained. “The left seized upon an issue they knew was really going to hurt Donald Trump.

    “The things that helped you last week were obliterated from the public’s consciousness by this controversy,” he said.

    “With the order, Trump is mitigating the situation the best he can,” O’Reilly told Walsh.

    “Don’t expect to have any kind of applause on the hate-Trump Left, because they’ll find another reason to put a stake in his heart.

    “That’s what they do — and they’re not going to stop, no matter what the president does.

    “No matter how successful the economy is,” O’Reilly said, “they’re not going to stop.”

    I suspect your livelihood as a professional is also firmly enjoined to big LLCs and small businesses that rely on revenue from US in some form or fashion whether as a direct trader or supplier/service provider to others whose main business comes from US…..so by all means maintain a pan-Carib ethos as that’s awesome but how can we as a nation NOT be interested in the world’s leading economy and from which a sizeable portion of our existence (not to mention remittances) currently derives!

    How does that work my bro! Of necessity we can’t avoid and absolutely should care about things American…and Canadian…and British and even to a more significant degree these days Chinese…

    Are you suggesting that I am OBLIGATED to LOVE the USA, its sports or presidents because of reasons you cited or because I may receive financial benefits as a result of clients that may rely on US companies for revenue?

    My friend, now that is definitely a “head scratcher.”

    Let me tell you a little story.

    A few years ago I worked for a company that, when I became more acquainted with the system, I realized many of the whites were racists, including the owners; there was an unequal distribution of salaries, whereby the whites earned more than the blacks for performing similar functions, even under circumstances where blacks were more qualified than whites.

    The Assistant to the Financial Controller (both black) was very lazy and depended upon others to assist him in performing his duties. It came to a point that working relationships between him and other staff members were not good.

    Although I did not care anything about the company, because of the “difficult” working conditions/environment, the company provided me with employment and means of earning a living. Because of this, I was able to put these “distractions” in a box, worked with the FC’s Assistant and the racists…………… and performed my duties honestly and efficiently, during the 8 hours for which I was paid.

    We had a “mutual relationship,”…….. I provided a service, for which I was compensated.

    You may ask where I’m going with this.

    Juxtapose the “company” with the USA.

    Now you mentioned the Asian slant in its advertising, I think I’m familiar with the channel. I watched the first test match on that channel via the “fire stick.” This device can access several sporting channels as was as those showing the international tests and T20 tournaments.

    Or perhaps, it may be a different channel with similar characteristics.

    Georgie why bother yourself with thesesanti-trumpeteers who only watch CNN and MNSCB that spill trump venom day and night.No matter what information you publish would make no difference to them because they are not reading anything that portray Trump in a good light. When i see those two black morons for congressmen at the hearing trying to represent the misdeeds of Mrs Clinton i shudder when it was the husband of that same woman who referred to Mr Obama’s last eight years as failed and who was admonished by Senator Edward Kennedy for bashing Mr Obama and who reminded the Democratic establishment when they were about to offer Mr Obama the nomination that “once upon a time Mr Obama would be bringing their coffee”

    President Trump has been dealing with obstructionism his whole time in office. Nominees have been getting held up by Democrats and Republicans alike. Senator Jeff Flake is a huge obstructionist from the right openly admitting why he is holding up Trump’s judicial nominees.

    Outgoing GOP Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona is blocking votes on all of President Donald Trump’s appeals court nominees to secure concessions from Republican leaders on tariffs and Cuban travel restrictions.

    Flake, a Trump antagonist who is not seeking reelection amid floundering popularity with Arizona Republicans, has not openly addressed the matter, though his seat on a closely divided Senate Judiciary Committee gives him significant leverage over judgeships.

    Roll Call first reported that Flake halted a committee vote on Georgia Supreme Court Justice Britt Grant’s nomination to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the federal appeals court based in Atlanta. CNN confirmed late Wednesday that the senator will block all appeals court nominees to prompt discussions on relations with Cuba and the president’s escalating trade war with much of the industrial world.

    Flake is one of 11 Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which issues recommendations on judicial nominees before a final confirmation vote. The GOP has a one-vote majority on the panel, making Flake’s cooperation essential if Republicans wish to process candidates.

    Flake is failing politically, but it looks like he will do anything to obstruct while still in the Senate. His constituents should be disappointed that he is not working harder to get conservative judges on the federal courts.
