Media Release from Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine

Hamas, Israel

The Barbados based “Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine” [CAAP] categorically condemns all attacks on civilians in all conflicts, and in particular the continued and consistent genocide of the Palestinian people over the past 75 years by Zionists.

We express our full support for the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle for liberation of the Palestinian lands and people from the occupying, dehumanizing forces of the fascist Zionist regime of Israel.

For the past 75 years the Palestinian people, men, women, and children, have faced collective punishment, degradation, colonization, apartheid, destruction, and death at the hands of the Zionist state of Israel. In the last few days that collective punishment has increased manifold with imminent total annihilation of the Palestinians of Gaza, aided and abetted by the hypocritical United States of America and its Western Allies. It is just as wrong to bomb civilian targets in Gaza, as it is to bomb civilian targets in Kiev.


What has been witnessed in the last 75 years and what is unfolding now are crimes against humanity, it is genocide. How much more must the Palestinian people endure in the face of relentless oppression and brutality? The Israeli Government has blocked all water, food, energy supplies, and medicines from getting into Gaza. This is Collective Punishment and a Crime Against Humanity.

President Nelson Mandela said, “We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinian people”. We in the Caribbean, having suffered the legacy of the most brutal and inhumane system of slavery and colonialism, know too well the struggle for freedom and need to combat such acts of savagery.

No longer can the world continue to ignore the systematic cycle of destruction perpetrated against the Palestinian people and lands by the fascist Zionist regime of Israel.

Mr. Lalu Hanuman, Lawyer, and Secretary of CAAP in an invited comment said: “Gaza 2023 is today’s Warsaw Ghetto 1943. Just as the brave Jewish people herded into the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 by the fascists, fought back against racist oppression, the Gazan people today, herded into the Gaza Ghetto by the fascist Zionists, are fighting back against racist oppression”.
We call for the immediate halt to the genocide of Palestinians and the end to this violence, bloodshed, and racist oppression.

CAAP will be organizing a “Rally for Palestine” outside the American Embassy in Wildey, on Saturday 21st October 2023, at 3 p.m., subject to Police permission being granted.

    “For I (THE MOST HIGH) will gather “ALL NATIONS” against JERUSALEM* to “BATTLE”; and the city shall be taken (CONQUERED) , and the houses rifled (SACKED), and the women ravished (RAPED); and “HALF OF THE CITY” shall go forth into “CAPTIVITY” (ENSLAVED), and the “RESIDUE” of the people (RIGHTEOUS REMNANT – AS IN THE DAYS OF JEREMIAH) shall not be cut off from the city…”

    QUESTIONS:

    When has “ELOHIM” ever brought “ALL NATIONS” to fight at Jerusalem???

    (1) Did Sennacherib in 702 BC come with “ALL NATIONS”???
    (2) Did Nebuchadnezzar & Nebuzarradan in 606 BC come with “ALL NATIONS”???
    (3) Did General Titus (AKA Emperor Titus) in AD 70 come with “ALL NATIONS”???

    If the answer to each question is an “UNEQUIVOCAL *NO*” – then we can exegetically deduce that Zechariah 14:2 is yet to meet “PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT” in our day & age!!!

    If the prophet Zechariah (UNDER INSPIRATION) says that “ISRAEL WILL BE DESTROYED” by the “FOUR HORNS” and will be re-inhabited by “YESHUA’S TRUE PEOPLE” – THE 144,000 True Israelites who will stand with HIM* on Mt.Zion – why is this so difficult for well-meaning Christians to understand???

    HOW DO WE KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT THE TIME OF THE GENTILES AS CITED BY MESSIAH IN LUKE 21:24???

    “Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled”…

    Thus, from Malachi the prophet, (the last book of the OT Canon (c. 420 BC), to the appearance of John the Baptist in the early part of the 1st century AD., (where “HEAVEN WAS VIRTUALLY SILENT”) for 400 years – a new breed of men infested & INFECTED* the land of Israel, and it was so in the days of “YESHUA” during His Ministry – right up to the sacking of Jerusalem in AD 70 – where the Gentiles continued to hold sway right up until “TODAY”…

    Only a stone wall surrounded Jerusalem in Zechariah’s time. But a “WALL OF FIRE” is to surround the Jerusalem of our time, the Jerusalem of which Zechariah was instructed to write. It is from this “LATTER” Jerusalem that the Lord is to teach us of His ways, and to cause us to walk in His paths, “for,” declares the Gospel prophet, “… out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and The Word of the Lord from Jerusalem,” cited from Isa. 2:3…

    Thus the call: Zech. 2:6 – “Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the North, saith the Lord: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the Lord…”

    The statement “I have spread you abroad as the four winds of heaven,” cannot be limited to the Jews in Babylon. It embraces universal scattering of God’s people, (TRUE) Judah & Israel, throughout the lands of the Gentiles…

    Since the prophecy is directed to our time, then the call to “come forth” and to “flee from the land of the north” is to be sounded to God’s people at the time – “MYSTERY” Babylon of Revelation chapter 17 begins her reign…

    The call, “come forth and flee from the land of the north” is parallel with the call, “Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev. 18:4)… The “LOUD CRY” Message!!!

    THIS IS THE TIME OF THE MARK OF THE BEAST CRISIS!!!

    This call cannot be taken to mean that God’s people should merely come out of one building, or of one land, and go into another where, too, sin is practiced. The place that they are called to come must be free from SIN* & SINNERS* and thus free from the “7 LAST PLAGUES” as it will be the “MODERN ARK” of safety for all of YESHUA’s end-time people…

    Obviously they are called to come to the “KINGDOM” whose immediate citizens are to be the 1st Fruits, the 144,000, the church purified; “THE CHURCH TRIUMPHANT” and set apart from the world. Then it shall be said to it, “… henceforth there shall no more come into “THEE” the uncircumcised and the unclean…” (Isa. 52:1)

    JERUSALEM WILL BE AS THE MOST HIGH INTENDED – PURE & UNDEFILED!!!

    You are assuming that because Egypt is in Africa then most Hebrew slaves must have been black and no “white” Ashkenazim could be a Jew.

    Sorry, my mother wasn’t white. Her grandfather was the grandson of a former slave and her grandfather’s father married a coloured descendant of a Sephardic Jewish couple, Abraham and Jael, who arrived here in the 1680’s.!

    That was long before the Rothschild family came to prominence. I have found a connection between the Montefiore’s and Rothschild’s and Barbados but that was in the 1800’s long before the first Ashknazim got to Barbados.

    …… which qualifies me potentially as the only black Hebrew on this site.

    The Caribbean, Israeli war

    THE RENEWAL OF HOSTILITIES between the European-created Jewish state of Israel and the displaced Palestinian population has raised the question: What is the Caribbean’s position on the conflict?

    Unsurprisingly, the Caribbean position on such global conflicts is fragmented along the usual historicalsuspect fault lines of race, class, religion, culture and economic dependency. These historical contradictions were clearly evident in the ‘official’ CARICOM statement, aimed at pleasing everybody and offending none: “The recent round of hostilities reflects the pain and suffering of ancient quarrels. The ongoing harsh conditions under which the Palestinians live in veritable colonialism and Israel’s sense of insecurity will contribute to a cycle of violence until those realities are definitively addressed.” A genuinely anticolonial Caribbean position would start from the recognition that Palestine represents one of the last examples of a foreign occupying power subjugating an indigenous people, solely by force. Given our historical reality as the guinea pigs of all forms of colonial subjugation, we have legitimate grounds for raising our voices in support of Palestine’s right to self-determination free from molestation of an occupying power.

    A genuinely anticolonial Caribbean position would be free from fear: not only of reprisal but also of ‘causing offence’.

    Caribbean officials have sufficient empirical evidence of Israel’s existence as an apartheid state, yet their position continues to be shaped by the ‘subjective’ association of Christian/ biblical Israel with the post-World War II, European-created Jewish state in 1948.

    These subjective considerations impose upon Caribbean leaders modes of self-censorship which diminish their effectiveness on the global stage.

    Economic interests

    Finally, in its international relations, the Caribbean is too narrowly guided by material considerations.

    We switch from China to Taiwan based on who gives what. Similarly, our position on Israel-Palestine is determined too much by our economic interests with Israel.

    Of course, much of what I have suggested will be countered with the claim that what I have described as timidity and narrow materialism is actually Caribbean ‘realism’, reflective of our genuine national interest. My response to this is to ask: where are the successes of this global timidity and political opportunism?

    The Caribbean is still relegated to a minor place in global politics, begging for ‘special consideration’ with no one listening (à la the Bridgetown accord).

    Significantly, one of the more notable moments when the Caribbean stood on a global platform of principle was during the anti-apartheid struggle. The fruits of this anti-apartheid struggle have created the context for a newly emergent and vibrant Africa from which we are now seeking to benefit.

    Any removal of the knee of colonialism from the necks of the Palestinian people is likely to unleash another pole of human development and creativity in the global south which, in the long run, can only redound to an enhancement of Caribbean development and our standing in the world.
