On Saturday 29th November 2014 the Barbados based group “Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine” [CAAP] will be observing the sixty-seventh anniversary of the United Nations resolution to partition Palestine between its residents who had lived there for countless centuries, and recently arrived Zionists from Europe, with the majority of the land going to the minority recently arrived Zionists.

In an exclusive comment, CAAP Secretary, Attorney-at-law Mr. Lalu Hanuman, said: “This despicable and racist resolution has directly led to contemporary global security and civil liberty concerns, from chaos in the Middle East, to 9/11, to increased Airport Security, to erosion of our basic civil liberties, to ISIS today. We are all victims of this insidious United Nations’ resolution, but the biggest victims are the Palestinian People who have had their land stolen from underneath their feet, and who have had to live for generations in squalid refugee camps, or under Zionist military occupation, while the Zionists have been subsidised with huge annual financial and military Western grants.

This is not about religion, this about fundamental human rights. We in the Caribbean who have endured oppression in all its nefarious forms, from chattel slavery to indentured slavery, should be in the forefront of solidarity actions with our Palestinian brothers and sisters”.

This free public event will start with a film at 7 p.m. in UWI’s ALT room, and then have a panel discussion, and a Q&A session, followed by free refreshments.

Further information from 420-2022.

  1. The Crisis in U.S.-Israel Relations Is Officially Here
The other day I was talking to a senior Obama administration official about the foreign leader who seems to frustrate the White House and the State Department the most. “The thing about Bibi is, he’s a chickenshit,” this official said, referring to the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, by his nickname.
This comment is representative of the gloves-off manner in which American and Israeli officials now talk about each other behind closed doors, and is yet another sign that relations between the Obama and Netanyahu governments have moved toward a full-blown crisis. The relationship between these two administrations— dual guarantors of the putatively “unbreakable” bond between the U.S. and Israel—is now the worst it’s ever been, and it stands to get significantly worse after the November midterm elections. By next year, the Obama administration may actually withdraw diplomatic cover for Israel at the United Nations, but even before that, both sides are expecting a showdown over Iran, should an agreement be reached about the future of its nuclear program.
The fault for this breakdown in relations can be assigned in good part to the junior partner in the relationship, Netanyahu, and in particular, to the behavior of his cabinet. Netanyahu has told several people I’ve spoken to in recent days that he has “written off” the Obama administration, and plans to speak directly to Congress and to the American people should an Iran nuclear deal be reached. For their part, Obama administration officials express, in the words of one official, a “red-hot anger” at Netanyahu for pursuing settlement policies on the West Bank, and building policies in Jerusalem, that they believe have fatally undermined Secretary of State John Kerry’s peace process.

Obama: ‘The Window Is Closing’ for a Viable Israel-Palestine Peace Deal
Over the years, Obama administration officials have described Netanyahu to me as recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and “Aspergery.” (These are verbatim descriptions; I keep a running list.) But I had not previously heard Netanyahu described as a “chickenshit.” I thought I appreciated the implication of this description, but it turns out I didn’t have a full understanding. From time to time, current and former administration officials have described Netanyahu as a national leader who acts as though he is mayor of Jerusalem, which is to say, a no-vision small-timer who worries mainly about pleasing the hardest core of his political constituency. (President Obama, in interviews with me, has alluded to Netanyahu’s lack of political courage.)
“The good thing about Netanyahu is that he’s scared to launch wars,” the official said, expanding the definition of what a chickenshit Israeli prime minister looks like. “The bad thing about him is that he won’t do anything to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians or with the Sunni Arab states. The only thing he’s interested in is protecting himself from political defeat. He’s not [Yitzhak] Rabin, he’s not [Ariel] Sharon, he’s certainly no [Menachem] Begin. He’s got no guts.”
I ran this notion by another senior official who deals with the Israel file regularly. This official agreed that Netanyahu is a “chickenshit” on matters related to the comatose peace process, but added that he’s also a “coward” on the issue of Iran’s nuclear threat. The official said the Obama administration no longer believes that Netanyahu would launch a preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities in order to keep the regime in Tehran from building an atomic arsenal. “It’s too late for him to do anything. Two, three years ago, this was a possibility. But ultimately he couldn’t bring himself to pull the trigger. It was a combination of our pressure and his own unwillingness to do anything dramatic. Now it’s too late.”
U.S. officials had described Netanyahu to me as recalcitrant, pompous, and “Aspergery.” But this was the first time I’d heard him called “chickenshit.”
This assessment represents a momentous shift in the way the Obama administration sees Netanyahu. In 2010, and again in 2012, administration officials were convinced that Netanyahu and his then-defense minister, the cowboyish ex-commando Ehud Barak, were readying a strike on Iran. To be sure, the Obama administration used the threat of an Israeli strike in a calculated way to convince its allies (and some of its adversaries) to line up behind what turned out to be an effective sanctions regime. But the fear inside the White House of a preemptive attack (or preventative attack, to put it more accurately) was real and palpable—as was the fear of dissenters inside Netanyahu’s Cabinet, and at Israel Defense Forces headquarters. At U.S. Central Command headquarters in Tampa, analysts kept careful track of weather patterns and of the waxing and waning moon over Iran, trying to predict the exact night of the coming Israeli attack.
Today, there are few such fears. “The feeling now is that Bibi’s bluffing,” this second official said. “He’s not Begin at Osirak,” the official added, referring to the successful 1981 Israeli Air Force raid ordered by the ex-prime minister on Iraq’s nuclear reactor.
The belief that Netanyahu’s threat to strike is now an empty one has given U.S. officials room to breathe in their ongoing negotiations with Iran. You might think that this new understanding of Netanyahu as a hyper-cautious leader would make the administration somewhat grateful. Sober-minded Middle East leaders are not so easy to come by these days, after all. But on a number of other issues, Netanyahu does not seem sufficiently sober-minded.
Another manifestation of his chicken-shittedness, in the view of Obama administration officials, is his near-pathological desire for career-preservation. Netanyahu’s government has in recent days gone out of its way to a) let the world know that it will quicken the pace of apartment-building in disputed areas of East Jerusalem; and b) let everyone know of its contempt for the Obama administration and its understanding of the Middle East. Settlement expansion, and the insertion of right-wing Jewish settlers into Arab areas of East Jerusalem, are clear signals by Netanyahu to his political base, in advance of possible elections next year, that he is still with them, despite his rhetorical commitment to a two-state solution. The public criticism of Obama policies is simultaneously heartfelt, and also designed to mobilize the base.
Just yesterday, Netanyahu criticized those who condemn Israeli expansion plans in East Jerusalem as “disconnected from reality.” This statement was clearly directed at the State Department, whose spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, had earlier said that, “if Israel wants to live in a peaceful society, they need to take steps that will reduce tensions. Moving forward with this sort of action would be incompatible with the pursuit of peace.”
It is the Netanyahu government that appears to be disconnected from reality. Jerusalem is on the verge of exploding into a third Palestinian uprising. It is true that Jews have a moral right to live anywhere they want in Jerusalem, their holiest city. It is also true that a mature government understands that not all rights have to be exercised simultaneously. Palestinians believe, not without reason, that the goal of planting Jewish residents in all-Arab neighborhoods is not integration, but domination—to make it as difficult as possible for a Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem to ever emerge.
Unlike the U.S. secretary of state, John Kerry, I don’t have any hope for the immediate creation of a Palestinian state (it could be dangerous, at this chaotic moment in Middle East history, when the Arab-state system is in partial collapse, to create an Arab state on the West Bank that could easily succumb to extremism), but I would also like to see Israel foster conditions on the West Bank and in East Jerusalem that would allow for the eventual birth of such a state. This is what the Obama administration wants (and also what Europe wants, and also, by the way, what many Israelis and American Jews want), and this issue sits at the core of the disagreement between Washington and Jerusalem.
Israel and the U.S., like all close allies, have disagreed from time to time on important issues. But I don’t remember such a period of sustained and mutual contempt. Much of the anger felt by Obama administration officials is rooted in the Netanyahu government’s periodic explosions of anti-American condescension. The Israeli defense minister, Moshe Ya’alon, in particular, has publicly castigated the Obama administration as naive, or worse, on matters related to U.S. policy in the Middle East. Last week, senior officials including Kerry (who was labeled as “obsessive” and “messianic” by Ya’alon) and Susan Rice, the national security advisor, refused to meet with Ya’alon on his trip to Washington, and it’s hard to blame them. (Kerry, the U.S. official most often targeted for criticism by right-wing Israeli politicians, is the only remaining figure of importance in the Obama administration who still believes that Netanyahu is capable of making bold compromises, which might explain why he’s been targeted.)
“The Israelis do not show sufficient appreciation for America’s role in backing Israel,” the head of the Anti-Defamation League told me.
One of the more notable aspects of the current tension between Israel and the U.S. is the unease felt by mainstream American Jewish leaders about recent Israeli government behavior. “The Israelis do not show sufficient appreciation for America’s role in backing Israel, economically, militarily and politically,” Abraham Foxman, the head of the Anti-Defamation League, told me. (UPDATE: Foxman just e-mailed me this statement: “The quote is accurate, but the context is wrong. I was referring to what troubles this administration about Israel, not what troubles leaders in the American Jewish community.”)
What does all this unhappiness mean for the near future? For one thing, it means that Netanyahu—who has preemptively “written off” the Obama administration—will almost certainly have a harder time than usual making his case against a potentially weak Iran nuclear deal, once he realizes that writing off the administration was an unwise thing to do.
This also means that the post-November White House will be much less interested in defending Israel from hostile resolutions at the United Nations, where Israel is regularly scapegoated. The Obama administration may be looking to make Israel pay direct costs for its settlement policies.
Next year, the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, will quite possibly seek full UN recognition for Palestine. I imagine that the U.S. will still try to block such a move in the Security Council, but it might do so by helping to craft a stridently anti-settlement resolution in its place. Such a resolution would isolate Israel from the international community.
It would also be unsurprising, post-November, to see the Obama administration take a step Netanyahu is loath to see it take: a public, full lay-down of the administration’s vision for a two-state solution, including maps delineating Israel’s borders. These borders, to Netanyahu’s horror, would be based on 1967 lines, with significant West Bank settlement blocs attached to Israel in exchange for swapped land elsewhere. Such a lay-down would make explicit to Israel what the U.S. expects of it.
Netanyahu, and the even more hawkish ministers around him, seem to have decided that their short-term political futures rest on a platform that can be boiled down to this formula: “The whole world is against us. Only we can protect Israel from what’s coming.” For an Israeli public traumatized by Hamas violence and anti-Semitism, and by fear that the chaos and brutality of the Arab world will one day sweep over them, this formula has its charms.
But for Israel’s future as an ally of the United States, this formula is a disaster.

  2. These zionists who for the most part are irreligious get the unflinching support of christians since christians believe themselves subordinate to Jews.

As christian fanatics wait for the 2nd coming, the state of Israel gets to do whatever they like because Israel is not held to the same moral standard as the rest of the world.

When you can claim your superiority is divinely sanctioned, …why the world is your oyster.

Unlike you brainwashed duppies, I don’t believe a god with all that it entails to would have such a h$&#–ON for one people, his creation(Jews) to the point of being pimped by them. Lose a wrestling match to one of them among all of the other indignities the god suffers at the hands of his bosses, the Jews.

Now ac takes this chicanery to the next level when he rightly questions the identity of these people from Russia(most never circumcised) and god knows where else in Europe who claim the title of “chosen”. Interestingly enough the caste system of this falsified, calcified state establishes the Ashkenazim(European pale skinned Jews) on the top, and the dark skinned Middle Eastern(Sephardim) and African Jews are firmly at the bottom.

What if they are a bunch of imposters?

  4. This a classic case of starting put wrong and ending up wrong.however it is quite telling that the bible litterist in their attempt of forcing relevant facts connected to geneaolog and nationality would exclude and exempt biblical facts that does not include the jews of Israel there are specfic verses and chapters whichexplains and details beyond a doubt who the jews of the bible are relevant to population and nations startling and informative facts stating the jews will bescattered among all nations..also most note worthy that the bible prophecy if to be correct states that the jews would of many nations or nationalities having decendants morethan stars in the heavens and sand.the fact is that the jews of today have not fulfilled that prophecy which again puts there true identity up to scrunity and questions of validity.

Back to a secular analysis, there is more active debate in a week in Tel Aviv around the policies of Israel than there has ever been in Washington D.C. Politicians know that to critique Israel in the minutest of ways would be fatal to their career.

Israel through its juggernaut support in the US, possess a virtual veto of any policies it disagree with in D.C.

With that being said, the tide may be turning, culminated by it latest actions in Gaza killing 620 children/babies in 4 weeks and the unrelenting predation of Palestinian land through unabated illegal settlements.

This is concrete evidence that Israel’s sway in the US and the international community is wanning due to its blatant disregard for all international norms. If the results of a recent focus group and polls are any indication, support for Israel is weakening among young Americans.

“Polls conducted in late July by Gallup and the Pew Research Center found that support for Israel is weaker among younger Americans and Democrats than among Americans generally. Add to that the results of a recent focus group culled from 12 congressional staffers — a small but very influential cohort — and pro-Israel activists are worried about the long-term sustainability of broad U.S. support for Israel in Congress.”

    http://forward.com/articles/203589/young-americans-moving-away-from-israel-support/#ixzz3HfFjAabb

The young secular internationals don’t share the belief of the fanatical christians on here in the infallibility of Israel. There are quickly becoming comfortable with the idea that Israel cannot act without consequence.

What really irritates me about you Bible totting people is the fact you like to think you are so superior in thinking to everyone else who may have a difference of opinion. You are wise because you believe, while others who don’t are stupid. GP, WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO THINK YOU HAVE THE PATENT OR REGISTERED TRADE-MARK FOR INTELLIGENCE?
And what is more irritating is the fact YOU LOVE TO FORCE YOUR BELIEFS DOWN THE THROATS OF OTHERS. IF WE DARE NOT ACCEPT IT, YOU GO ON BE CONDESCENDING, INSULTING AND JUDGMENTAL, HURLING DOOM, GLOOM AND DESTRUCTION BY HELL FIRE.

    YOU NEED TO STOP IT!!!!

If I don’t believe, so be it, ACCEPT IT AND MOVE ON. At least I have shown you and your views respect and have refrained from being sanctimonious towards you, which is something I can’t say you have done to me.

Bear in mind sir, when I die, you will not be buried, and similarly, we both will have separate judgments. So give it a rest….. sheesh. I’M DONE WITH YOU AND THAT.

  12. @Artaxerxes

“During slavery, Africans were thrown overboard to lighten ships, beaten, hanged, limbs amputated, women raped and used for slave breeding purposes, men forced to work under inhumane conditions. WE GAVE EUROPEANS A PASS BY SAYING AFRICANS WERE ALSO INVOLVED IN THE SLAVE TRADE BECAUSE THEY HELPED CAPTURE THEIR OWN.”

This is a concoction of White folks to obfuscate the responsibility and liability that inspires the discussion around reparatory consequences.

Slavery in most cases in Africa was a consequence of people/tribes battling over resources and inter-tribal political intrigue. The losing tribe would be taken as slaves; it would be absorbed into the victorious tribe. At worst thy lost their tribal identity. In one generation one would be a challenge to differentiate between Slaves and the victorious tribe due to intermarriage. It was not unusual for a member of the losing tribe to marry the King’s daughter.

Let’s compare that to European chattel slavery, a unique paradigm in antebellum America. Where as the humanity of the slave was questioned only to justified the brutality of and the greed that motivated slavery. It was our constitution codified in Art. 3 Sect. 5 of the U.S. constitution that Black bodies are 3/5 of human-beings. European men, through the instrument of rape, impregnated girls in order to increase their wealth by selling their own children back into the horrors of slavery. This was a unique kind of barbarity.

    Ephesians 6:5
“SLAVES! OBEY YOUR EARTHLY MASTERS WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ” :6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.”

    Colossians 3:22
“SLAVES! OBEY YOUR EARTHLY MASTERS IN EVERYTHING; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.”

    1 Timothy 6:1
“ALL WHO ARE UNDER THE YOKE OF SLAVERY SHOULD REGARD THEIR MASTERS WORTHY OF FULL RESPECT, so that God’s name and our teaching may not be reviled.”

    1 Peter 2:18
“YOU WHO ARE SLAVES MUST SUBMIT TO THE AUTHORITY OF YOUR MASTERS with all respect. DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU–NOT ONLY IF THEY ARE KIND AND REASONABLE, but EVEN IF THEY ARE CRUEL.”

19 “For it is commendable if a man suffer patiently under the pain of unjust suffering to gain God’s favor.

    1. But how is it to your credit if you receive A BEATING FOR DOING beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer FOR DOING GOOD AND ENDURE IT PATIENTLY….

    Titus 2:9
“TEACH SLAVE TO BE SUBMISSIVE TO THEIR MASTERS IN EVERYTHING, to try to please them, THEY MUST NOT TALK BACK TO THEM,”

The above verses were used to pacify their victims and justify the brutality of European chattel slavery.

  14. With so much attention given to the state of Israel .how is it that one,s impression seems to focus on the “whitejew”while the jew of dark complexion is almost unheard of or completly ignored.

  15. @MistaBlack, you are a NOVICE, ignorant (lacking knowledge and understanding) re the Sound principles, of Biblical Hermeneutics, Contextual Analysis, and Linguistic Exegesis.

    God will yet choose Israel

    Matthew McGee
Isaiah 14:1 says, “For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.”

Many denominations hold to the view that God has forsaken the nation of Israel forever. They feel that because Israel crucified their Messiah, Jesus Christ, that God has taken away the promises He made to Israel, and has applied those promises to the present day predominantly Gentile church. However, we must not put “what we feel” above what God’s Word actually says. In this article, we will examine the following four statements:

    1. God made an unconditional everlasting covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
    2. God promised to make a new covenant with Israel and Judah.
    3. According to Bible prophecy, Israel will be back in their own land and will be the central focus in the end times.

    4. God revealed the mystery of Israel’s temporary fall to the Apostle Paul.

God’s Unconditional Everlasting Covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

God made unconditional promises to Abraham (originally named Abram) that were not dependent upon any action of Abraham or his descendants. In Genesis 12:3, God told Abram, “… I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” At that time, Abram was 75 years old, and he and his wife, Sarai (later named Sarah), had no children.

Abram was also promised a vast amount of land in Genesis 15:18, “… the LORD (Jehovah) made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates ….” This includes the land where Israel now exists plus a considerable amount of additional middle eastern land.

After more than ten years had passed, Abram and Sarai were still childless. They were growing impatient, and their faith that God would fulfill His promise was weak. So Sarai convinced Abram to have a son by her handmaid, Hagar, and they named the boy Ishmael.

Then about 14 years later, God appeared to Abram. The “everlasting covenant” (Genesis 17:7) is for Abraham and his seed after him: “… all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession …” (Genesis 17:8). The covenant was later passed down to Isaac. Genesis 17:18-21 says, “And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.” So God’s covenant with Abraham passed on to Isaac, but not to Ishmael.

Isaac was the child of God’s promise, but Ishmael had been born as a result of Abram and Sarai’s lack of faith. So in the eyes of God, Abraham only had one son. We know this because God told Abraham in Genesis 22:2, “… Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt-offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.” Ultimately God spared Isaac’s life, but Abraham passed this test of faith by trusting God and being willing to do as He said.

This covenant was once again confirmed to Isaac in Genesis 26:3-4, “… unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed ….”

When Isaac blessed Jacob in Genesis 27:29 he said, “… cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.”

God also confirmed His covenant to Jacob in Genesis 28:13-15 saying, “… I am the LORD (Jehovah) God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again unto this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.” God confirmed His covenant with Jacob again in Genesis 35:11-12.

God’s New Covenant with Israel and Judah

God also said in Jeremiah that He will make a new covenant with Israel and Judah. Jeremiah 31:31-34 says, “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Continuing in verses 35-37, “Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.” So we know that Israel will be around as a nation forever.

Israel will be the Focus of the End Times

Another reason that we know that God has not forsaken Israel forever is the prominence Israel has in the end time prophecies which are yet to be fulfilled. The Old Testament is rich with prophecies of end time events. All of the prophecies and visions were given to Hebrew prophets, and most of the events take place in, or are centered around the nation of Israel. Here are four examples:

    1. The abomination of desolation will take place in the temple which will be rebuilt in Jerusalem (Daniel 9:27 and Matthew 24:15).
  16. The battle of Armageddon will take place in the Valley of Megiddo in Israel, where all nations will come to fight against Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:2-3 and Revelation 16:13-16).

  17. When Jesus Christ returns to the earth, He will come down to the Mount of Olives, just east of Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4 and Acts 1:9-11).

  18. In the millenial kingdom, all nations will be required to come to Jerusalem to worship Jesus Christ the King and to keep the feast of tabernacles (Zechariah 14:16).

  19. There are also end time prophecies recorded in the New Testament which show the prominence of Israel. Here are four examples:

    1. In the book of Revelation, our Lord Jesus Christ confirmed through the Apostle John that during the tribulation, 12,000 young men will be chosen from each of the 12 tribes of Israel (Revelation 7:4-8).
  20. The division between the people of Israel and the Gentiles is quite evident in Revelation 11:1-2 which says, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles ….” Under the law of Moses, Gentiles were not permitted inside the temple. This passage reveals that this will once again be the case during the future seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy, which is commonly referred to as the tribulation.

  21. Chapter 12 of Revelation tells how the remnant of Israel will be chased into the wilderness by Satan and his armies where they must remain protected by God for the final three and a half years, commonly referred to as the great tribulation (Revelation 12:6 and 17).

  22. Finally, Revelation 21:12 says the new Jerusalem will have “… a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel ….”

  23. We know from the scriptures and from history that many prophecies about Israel have already been fulfilled, and that God, sooner or later, always fulfills His prophecies. In addition to the prophecies above, there are many other great prophecies about the prominence of Israel that have never been fulfilled. So this can only mean that they are yet going to take place. Zechariah 8:22-23 says, “Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord … In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.”

The Mystery of Israel’s Temporary Fall

Perhaps the greatest reason that we know that God will one day bring the nation of Israel back into prominence is provided by our apostle Paul in Romans chapter 11. He explains God’s plan “to provoke them (Israel) to jealousy” (v.11), adding “… if the fall of them be the riches of the world … how much more their fulness?” (Romans 11:12). Through the temporary setting aside of Israel, God brought salvation to the Gentiles. But when Israel is returned to that place of prominence in fulfillment of the Bible prophecies, even more Gentiles will be saved as a result.

Paul reveals the mystery of Israel’s temporary blindness in Romans 11:25-29 “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion a Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob (the unbelieving portion of Israel): For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching election, they are beloved for the fathers’ (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) sakes. For the gifts of God are without repentance.” When God made His promises to the nation of Israel, He already knew all the wrong that they would do, including crucifying their Messiah, but He still did not add any conditions to the promises. Despite all of this, God will still fulfill all of the promises which He made to the nation of Israel in both the Old and New Testaments. The Almighty God is a God of His Word.

  24. READERS MIGHT NOT AGREE OR BELIEVE WHAT ZOE HAS POSTED ABOVE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW OR BELIEVE THE BIBLE, BUT THE ABOVE IS SOUND DOCTRINE THAT CAN NOT BE REFUTED.AS WILL BE REALIZED BY SERIOUS STUDY OF THE SCRIPTURE

READERS MAY NOT LIKE THE PATH THAT GOD HAS SET OUT FOR ISRAEL, BUT NONE OF US CAN CHANGE IT
WE MUST ACCEPT THAT HIS WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS NEITHER ARE HIS THOUGHTS OUR THOUGHTS

YOU EITHER BELIEVE THE BIBLE OR YOU REJECT IT
    EVERYONE HAS THAT CHOICE

YOU CAN REJECT WHAT THE WORLD CLEARLY SAYS BUT YOU CANT EXPECT BY SO DOING TO GET JOB TO CHANGE HIS MIND OR PURPOSE

HAVING STUDIED THE WORD FOR OVER 40 YEARS, I AM AMAZED AT THE FULFILLMENT OF BIBLE PROPHESY EVEN IN OUR DAY

    KEEP POSTING THE TRUTH ZOE
DONT BE INTIMIDATED BY THE BU BIBLE ILLITERATES

ROMANS 1 HAS MADE IT VERY CLEAR
    Revelation of God derided
    Rejection of God preferred
    Rationalization of God’s Word decided
    Reversal of Truth presented
    Religious perversion accepted
    Reprobate minds adopted
    Ravishing appetites practiced
    Retribution of God delivered

WHEN YOU REJECT THE REVELATION GIVEN IN GOD’S WORD YOU WILL REJECT GOD HIMSELF
THEN YOU WILL DECIDE TO RATIONALIZE GOD’S WORD AND DETERMINE WHAT YOU THINK IT SHOULD SAY OR MEAN
THE RESULT IS YOU COME UP WITH THE EXACT OPPOSITE TO WHAT GOD HAS SAID

AFTER THIS WE GET PERVERTED RELIGION AND REPROBATE MINDS THAT CAN LEAD ONLY TO GOD’S JUDGEMENT

THE FORMULA IN ROMANS 1:18-28 IS PLAYED OUT OVER AND OVER THROUGHOUT THE AGE AND PLAYS OUT THE SAME WAY TODAY

  25. Georgie Porgie

It would be interesting to ascertain the source of your religious indoctrination. Because in so do, I will able to see the specific tenets of your religious convictions. You speak of the Bible as though it is a one fit all Faith, but what you have forgotten to make known is the fact that even though the basics tenets of Christianity are the same, there remains much division within the body of the Christian Church.

For example: I am a Pentecostal who believes in speaking in tongues as the spirit gives utterance. Secondly, I do not believe in Trinity because nowhere in the Bible does it claims that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are coequal. Coupled with the fact Emperor Constantine of Rome introduced the Nicene Creed which gave rise to the Trinity Doctrine because of he had favored Christianity during his tenure. And thirdly, I also believed that the only way to be save is through water baptism which should accompany the gift of the Holy Spirit. These are the basic tenets of my Faith within the deeply fragmented Christendom. Now what are yours Georgie Porgie? Perhaps, you’ll claim that you’re nondenominational?

  26. @Dompey, I don’t want to go OFF the subject of this thread; suffice to say, that you are wrong re Salvation by water Baptism, and the Trinity.
REPENTANCE and FAITH in Jesus Christ, according to the Word of God, must ALWAYS preceed Water baptism, as Baptism does NOT Save anyone.

Secondly, there are numerous passages in His Word, that clearly show and reveal, that The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are ALL, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Eternally EQUAL; The Council of Nicia, 325 AD, was essentially dealing with Heresies of the day, and only formulated the Doctrine of the Trinity, BASED entirely on the FACT that there IS ample evidence from WITHIN the Scripture, showing the Co-Omnipotence, Co- Omnipresence, Co-Omniscience, and Co-Eternality of the THREE Person in the Eternal Godhead, DISTINGUISHABLE, yet, INDIVISIBLE, I’ve already dealt with this subject extensively here on BU, Biblically refuting this erroneous concept you believe!.

  27. Until someone of christain indoctrination can unequivocally point out in the bible where the genealogical makeup of the “euopean jews”are compatable to the jews the old testament they originality will be questioned.
For by their fruits we shall know them

  28. The conflict between Jews and Arabs
    started in Biblical times

The battle is between the 12 princes/rulers of Ishmael and 12 tribes of Israel….

Arabs and the Israelis have been fighting since time immemorial over that tiny plot of land called Israel. Their battle is not one of flesh and blood, but of spiritual things. The Bible states that the last great battle will pit Israel against the rest of the Middle East and its allies. How did it all begin and why have they remained mortal enemies for thousands of years?

It was jealousy and resentment, plain and simple! And man’s failure to trust in YHWH (Yahweh)! Take a look at how things unfolded:

In Genesis 15 we see our first Patriarch Abraham complaining to YHWH that he had no heirs to pass an inheritance on to.

Genesis 15: 1 Some time later the word of ADONAI came to Avram in a vision: “Don’t be afraid, Avram. I am your protector; your reward will be very great.” 2 Avram replied, “ADONAI, God, what good will your gifts be to me if I continue childless; and Eli’ezer from Dammesek inherits my possessions? 3 You haven’t given me a child,” Avram continued, “so someone born in my house will be my heir.” 4 But the word of ADONAI came to him: “This man will not be your heir. No, your heir will be a child from your own body.” 5 Then he brought him outside and said, “Look up at the sky, and count the stars – if you can count them! Your descendants will be that many!” 6 He believed in ADONAI, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Now, some time passed and in Genesis 16 we see Abraham and his wife Sarah panicking about not having an heir yet, and so they decided (at the urging of Sarah) to take matters into their own hands and have Abraham sleep with his wife’s pagan/Egyptian servant Hagar. The result of that union was a son they named Ishmael.

In Genesis 16:13-16 the Angel of the YHWH told Hagar (who resented the fact she had conceived) that her son Ishmael would live and end up being “…a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, and everyone’s hand will be against him; and he will live to the east of all his brothers.”

Ishmael – the son of the Egyptian slave woman – is the father of the Arab nations, most of whom today are Muslim….

When Abraham (then still known as Avram before God changed His Name) was 99 years old, YHWH appeared and made a covenant with him, promising to make Avraham the father of many nations – which meant at some point he would have another heir and that that other heir, and not Ishmael, would be the one with whom YHWH would make his next covenant:

Genesis 17: 1 When Avram was 99 years old ADONAI appeared to Avram and said to him, “I am El Shaddai [God Almighty]. Walk in my presence and be pure-hearted. 2 I will make my covenant between me and you, and I will increase your numbers greatly.” 3 Avram fell on his face, and God continued speaking with him: 4 “As for me, this is my covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations. 5 Your name will no longer be Avram [exalted father], but your name will be Avraham [father of many], because I have made you the father of many nations. 6 I will cause you to be very fruitful. I will make nations of you, kings will descend from you.

7 “I am establishing my covenant between me and you, along with your descendants after you, generation after generation, as an everlasting covenant, to be God for you and for your descendants after you. 8 I will give you and your descendants after you the land in which you are now foreigners, all the land of Kena’an, as a permanent possession; and I will be their God.”

Genesis 17: 15 God said to Avraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are not to call her Sarai [mockery]; her name is to be Sarah [princess]. 16 I will bless her; moreover, I will give you a son by her. Truly I will bless her: she will be a mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her (this included Yeshua!!!).” 17 At this Avraham fell on his face and laughed – he thought to himself, “Will a child be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah give birth at ninety?” 18 Avraham said to God, “If only Yishma’el could live in your presence!”

19 God answered, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you are to call him Yitz’chak (Isaac)[laughter]. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. 20 But as for Yishma’el, I have heard you. I have blessed him. I will make him fruitful and give him many descendants. He will father twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But I will establish my covenant with Yitz’chak, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.” 22 With that, God finished speaking with Avraham and went up from him.

21 But I will establish my covenant with Yitz’chak, whom Sarah will bear to you at this time next year.” 22 With that, God finished speaking with Avraham and went up from him. 23 Avraham took Yishma’el his son, all the slaves born in his house and all who had been bought with his money, every male among the people in Avraham’s household, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin that very day, just as God had said to him. 24 Avraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, 25 and Yishma’el his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

NOTE: Isaac was born AFTER the covenant of circumcision…which was never, ever negated. ALL men who belong to YHWH, Jew and Gentile, must be circumcised!

Conflict between the two sons of Abraham began from the very start. Genesis 21:9 says the conflict began just after Isaac was weaned: “Now Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking.”

Galatians 4 tells us that Ishmael had been “born according to the flesh” while Isaac had been “born according to the promise”. Isaac replaced Ishmael as the favored son and heir. This, of course, made Ishmael jealous and bitter. As a result, he mocked and disdained his half-brother. Eventually the situation became so intolerable that Abraham’s wife Sarah demanded that Ishmael and his Egyptian concubine mother, Hagar, be expelled permanently from Abraham’s family.

But YHWH loved Hagar and her son, and had mercy upon them. He promised Hagar that her son would beget twelve princes who would become a great nation. Ishmael then went to live in the wilderness region of Hejaz in what became known as the Arabian Peninsula. He indeed had twelve patriarchal sons who became associated with the peoples known as Midianites, Edomites, Egyptians and Assyrians. The Bible and Islamic tradition both agree that Ishmael became the leader of all the great desert peoples of the Middle East.

This jealousy and resentment between Sarah and Hagar and their sons Isaac and Ishmael created an unparalleled hate which has set off wars and atrocities for four thousand years. It was the title deed to the land of Israel, which God promised to Abraham’s lineage, that has been the source of the friction between the Jews and the Arabs right up to the present day.

Muslims believe the Jews changed and distorted the Bible in order to establish themselves as the heirs of Abraham’s Covenant blessings. However, they fail to explain how the New Testament clearly teaches that the Covenant was made with Isaac and his descendants.

According to Islamic tradition, Abraham had eight sons rather than two who were reared in Mecca, not Hebron. They insist it was Ishmael, not Isaac, whom Abraham was about to sacrifice on Mount Moriah when an angel stopped him. According to the Koran, the Abrahamic covenant, with its promises – including the title deed to the land of Israel – was passed down to the Arabs through Ishmael, rather than to the Jews through Isaac.

If one believes that the Old and New Testaments were written under the inspiration of the Spirit of YHWH, then there is no question that Israel is the Promised Land of the Jews. God’s words to Abraham in Genesis are some 2,500 years older than the creation of Islam (whose “prophet” Mohammed was a murdering, thieving pedophile who “married” a seven year old child – but that’s another story).

The bottom line is, YHWH fulfilled His promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Ishmael. And He is about to use the consequential warfare between the two brothers in order to bring about His “end time” scenario….

Note: We at The Refiner’s Fire believe God is using the spirit of Islam to make His end time prophecies happen. Why? Because, as a Muslim once wrote to our website: “Muslims HATE Jews and Christians and all they stand for, including Capitalism.” The Bible says that in the end times, believers in Yeshua will be beheaded for their belief (Rev. 20:4). And who are the ONLY people in the entire universe who still behead? The Muslims! They have become the world’s worst enemy, as evidenced by the myriad terrorist attacks not only on Israel but the entire world. And the worst is yet to come….For more, please see our Challenging Islam page.

Author Hal Lindsay recently wrote the following:

….This is exactly the situation that continues to develop in the Middle East. The world has been dragged into the ancient conflict between Isaac and Ishmael in spite of its best efforts to stay out of it. This conflict that has raged between these two half brothers for 4,000 years is destined to ignite the last war of the world, according to the Bible prophets.

Muhammad, a descendant of Ishmael, has brought over one billion people on to his side of this ancient conflict through the religion of Islam. From the time he started the Muslim religion, the dimensions of the conflict began to enlarge. When his followers laid claim to Jerusalem as the their third holiest site, the die was cast for Jerusalem to become the trigger of the war of Armageddon, just as the prophet Zechariah predicted 2500 years ago. Zechariah prophesied “Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone for all the peoples” and that “All nations of the earth will be gathered [for war] because of it.” (Zechariah 12:3)

We are eyewitnesses to this taking place right now.

The other major spheres of power that will be drawn into this final war are clearly predicted.

Ezekiel predicts that a nation to the extreme north of reborn Israel will become Israel’s arch enemy. It will be a nation with a vast arsenal with which it will arm all of the Muslim nations. Russia is the only nation to the extreme north of Israel. And they are descended from the tribe of Magog through the Scythians, just as Ezekiel predicted. God Himself commands this power from the extreme north to take command of the confederated Muslim forces and lead them in an all out attack against Israel. This attack is the first battle of the war of Armageddon.

The Book of Revelation predicts another sphere of power that will enter this war with 200 million soldiers. This power bloc is called “the Kings of the East”. They will move into the Middle East and attack once the war has started. The Bible says they will wipe out a third of the world’s population.

The fourth power bloc is the Western force led by a revived form of the Roman Empire. Daniel and the Apostle John both predict this power in great detail. It will begin when a great leader springs up in Rome and takes the strongest 10 Nations of the EU and uses them to form his power base.www.therefinerfire.org

  29. When you all having your march on the 29th November,2014, I wish you will also march against the THE WEST INDIES REBELS who should be, telling their Brothers and sisters in Africa they are sorry.
as some one said, the presence of a team of BLACK men in SOUTH AFRICA DID NOT HELP TO END APARTHEID, BUT INSTEAD STRENGTHENED AND SUPPORT IT.
Even within the country itself, non-whites protested the West Indies rebels
Back home in the Caribbean, the reaction was worse. A deep sense of BETRAYAL cut through the Caribbean Cricketers who now seen as SELLOUTS
When the month – long tour was over the rebel players knew they would have to face the repercussions of their decision back home, you can read the rest on the web.

  30. Nearly 400 Tanach ( Old Testament) prophecies have already come true, so what more proof do you need?

The following is a list of 48 dead-on prophecies fulfilled by Yeshua. The BIBLE contains nearly 400 prophecies that have already come to pass exactly as was written, and there is no way they could all be “coincidences.” As a matter of fact, according to mathematician and professor, Peter Stoner, the probability of even just 48 prophecies being fulfilled by one person (referring to Y’shua) is the incredible number of 1 in 10^157 power!

For those who are doubters, perhaps it would interest you to know that TWO of these prophecies came to pass in 1948 when YHWH (Yahweh) used Hitler’s Holocaust to make a couple of His “end times” prophecies come true. Isaiah’s prophecies about Israel becoming a nation once more (and that it would happen in ONE DAY) came to pass in 1948 when the world briefly felt sorry for the Jews and returned Israel to them – which happened in ONE DAY….

If the mere 48 “dead-on” prophecies below don’t convince you of Yeshua’s existence and deeds, check out the almost 400 others that can be found in the Bible! And don’t forget to ponder the Biblical Feasts that He has already fulfilled, and the three He has yet to go!www/therefinerfire.org

  31. Who, What or Where Is Zion?

    by Wayne Blank

“And the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, who said to David, “You will not come in here, but the blind and the lame will ward you off” – thinking, “David cannot come in here.” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion, that is, the city of David … And David dwelt in the stronghold, and called it the city of David. And David built the city round about from the Millo inward. And David became greater and greater, for The Lord, the God of hosts, was with him.” (2 Samuel 5:6-7,9-10 RSV)
The History and The Future of Zion

Tower of David After David captured Zion from the Jebusites, his citadel and palace became “the city of David.” Located on the south-eastern hill of Jerusalem, it was mostly surrounded by defensive valleys, the Tyropoeon Valley, the Kidron Valley and the Valley Of Hinnom.

The meaning of Zion has grown tremendously from David’s time 3,000 years ago, from the physical place where a conquering Israelite king established his home for the benefit of his people, to a spiritual place where another conquering King will establish His home for the benefit of all people.

When David’s successor, his son Solomon, moved The Ark Of The Covenant, containing the The Ten Commandments to the new Temple (see Temples) on nearby Mount Moriah (popularly known today as The Temple Mount), the name Zion was extended to include the Temple (1 Kings 8:1, Isaiah 8:18)
In later times of the kings (see Kings of Israel and Judah), the term Zion came to be used for all of Jerusalem (e.g. 2 Kings 19:21), and then further for the Israelite people themselves (e.g. Isaiah 33:14)
And then, in reference to The Messiah for all people, of all nations:
“And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to The Mount Of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find an ass tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me. If any one says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and he will send them immediately.” This took place to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet, saying, “Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of an ass.” (Matthew 21:1-5 RSV)
“Lest you be wise in your own conceits, I want you to understand this mystery, brethren: a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles come in, and so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob” (Romans 11:25-26 RSV)
“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the first-born who are enrolled in heaven, and to a judge who is God of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks more graciously than the blood of Abel” (Hebrews 12:22-24 RSV)www.keyway.ca
