In recent months the developed world has forged ahead with implementing measures to ensure citizens get on with the business of living, albeit not at pre-Covid 19 level. We watch our TVs daily and marvel at the sight of thousands of spectators crammed into sports stadia, persons reporting to work, travelling on business, leisure and other ‘getting back to normal’ activities.

Regrettably Barbados continues to be a country divided on how mirror what is happening in the developed world. The medical association (BAMP), teachers associations, political parties and not to forget the idiots.

It is interesting to note head of the BCCI Tricia Tannis has thrown support behind the safe zone concept. Head of the BAMP confirmed at the recent press briefing although vaccinated and unvaccinated persons can spread the virus, unvaccinated do it more efficiently. With Christmas shopping window about to open in a couple weeks and tourist winter seasons open, the shortening of the curfew period has not come as a surprise. What we will see in the weeks to come, if government continues to waffle on the implementation of safe zones the private sector will take the initiative to implement.

We need to ignite commercial activity in the country. The time to stop dithering is with us.

DR. FAUCI ADMITS WHAT WE ALL KNOW ABOUT THE VАCCINE… SAYS VАCCINATED ARE IN GREAT DANGER TODAY (VIDEO)
    Cooter COOTER NOVEMBER 16, 2021

I’ve been following practically every development on this god-forsaken thing for nearly two years now. Two freaking years! And there is nothing more obvious to me than the fact that the government’s touted savior, aka the vаccine, is not doing what it’s supposed to.

That’s not just my opinion either, this was even recently admitted by Dr. Anthony Fauci himself.

On Nov. 12, White House CΟVID adviser Anthony Fauci, MD, went on The New York Times’ podcast The Daily to discuss the current state of the coronavirus in the U.S. According to Fauci, officials are now starting to see some waning immunity against both infection and hospitalization several months after initial vaccination. The infectious disease expert pointed toward incoming data from Israel, which he noted tends to be about a month to a month and a half ahead of us in terms of the outbreak.

“They are seeing a waning of immunity not only against infection but against hospitalization and to some extent death, which is starting to now involve all age groups. It isn’t just the elderly,” Fauci said. “It’s waning to the point that you’re seeing more and more people getting breakthrough infections, and more and more of those people who are getting breakthrough infections are winding up in the hospital.”

As a result of these findings, Fauci warned that vaccinated people should get their booster shot, as it might actually be more important than health officials first realized. “If one looks back at this, one can say, do you know, it isn’t as if a booster is a bonus, but a booster might actually be an essential part of the primary regimen that people should have,” he said on The Daily.

Fauci went on to say, “I think … that the boosting is gonna be an absolutely essential component of our response, not a bonus, not a luxury, but an absolute essential part of the program.”

We know what works and what doesn’t work. We’ve figured this whole thing out, but have been suppressed and ostracized for it.

Would be interested to know if the monotony extends to the Southern Corridor!!

  6. All you got to do is stay out of the Southern Corridor or, follow John Knox’s as yet unpatented protocols.

  7. I demand the abolition of the damned masks and the insane disinfection of hands. We must finally immunise our backward islanders, preferably by next spring. Through natural immunisation if needed. 500 to 1000 more fatalities are politically well justifiable. It almost exclusively affects opponents of vaccination, i.e. enemies of the state, and people who are on the pocket of the welfare state.

Just for comparison: the delta variant is so contagious that virologists assume that all non-vaccinated persons in the USA and Europe will be completely infected by next April.

We must not fall behind here under any circumstances!

    Anything is possible these days.

Governments are out of control and will do anything expedient as the moment demands.

    Human life is irrelevant.

    Germany now headed for lockdown.

Maybe it will work this time around but it just appears to be another social experiment and a repetition of an action that has yet to work but which Governments can force on people because they can.

Best options for the individual are to stay out of hospital, try to stay healthy and keep as far as possible from the clutches of Government.

Doctors/scientists etc. these days seem to have alot of knowledge in specific areas but very little wisdom, understanding or backbone.

The folks that ended up in the morgue for no apparent reason are now just a statistic and fit into the other/misc. column.

    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/germany-hits-panic-button-as-covid-explodes-merkel-to-follow-austria-and-lock-down-14m/ar-AAQMG20?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=W069

  14. Grenada now effectively COVID free.

Zero new cases and 7 day average is zero.

Once they can prevent it entering at the ports of entry they should be cool, floods or no floods.

    Somebody is doing something right.

In all the horror there is still hope.

    https://imgur.com/9jGkcc2

  15. The true story of this covid is being missed. How does Grenada get back to zero (0) and we are still experiencing difficulty?
What are they doing that is different?.
Can we borrow anything from Grenada?
An open mind and a willingness to learn/make changes may be the way to go.

  16. @🐇/🐰
“Once they can prevent it entering at the ports of entry they should be cool, floods or no floods.*

Are you now abandoning your flood theory?

Is it becoming clear that sewage, floodwater, wastewater and drinking 🚰 water are different quantities.

  17. We need a good long and honest talk about covid. What we have so far is a cut and paste of ideas from various competing sources.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If there are no cases hiding when the next floods come, then Grenada will be proof against future outbreaks.

The longer Grenada can hold at zero the better are its chances of enduring a second surge in the event of a second set of flooding.

Here’s the first set that caused the first surge back in early July.

What we can learn from Grenada is for its particular topography and geology, the surge took about four months to pass.

Looks like it took about a month to start.

Remember, we had two sets of flooding, Elsa and then another one.

That’s why there is a change in the rise of our surge.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We are on our way back down but we will not reach zero unless the 20% of the supply which gets replenished by sewage from those living above is not addressed.

If never addressed we will be prone to continued surges in cases (and deaths) depending on floods.

  20. What was accomplished in Grenada and St. Lucia was shared weeks ago. No need to speculate.

    https://youtu.be/NiZVpBRjtt4

  21. We started around the same time as Grenada in August, a few days different, both as a result of floods from Elsa.

We got a second flood which resulted in a change in slope.

Grenada came down to zero and we are heading there.

But we won’t get there unless the 20% of our water which gets contaminated remains at risk.

  22. Will watch in the evening. Appears to be a good post

  23. What is evident is that there must be a recognition covid approaches must be nuanced. It is interesting to listen to the Grenada lead who is Barbadian? There is no one size fits all policy.

  24. Grenada had 200 deaths.

    We are at 199.

  25. Surprised that my doctor gave me a prescription for vitamin D2. It made me realize that I was hibernating for two years.

Make certain that you take your vitamin D and calcium tablets.

  26. Dominica is interesting.

    https://imgur.com/oJfixHB

Won’t go down to zero but never got as high as Barbados or Grenada.

Dominica has only had 35 deaths in 5,441 cases.

Grenada has had 200 deaths in 5,865 cases

Barbados has had 199 deaths in 22,639 cases.

Barbados probably does 4 times the testing that Grenada and Dominica do but it also has almost 4 times the population..

Population for Barbados, Dominica and Grenada are 287,859, 72,232 and 85,790.

Grenada has clearly been hammered but it has recovered extremely well.

While Dominica’s characteristic curve shows its cases are slowly falling and won’t go to zero for the moment, they never reached more than 1/4 as high as Barbados or Grenada.

End result is Dominica had 1/7 of the deaths Barbados and Grenada had and about the same number of cases as Grenada.

    Dominica’s performance is remarkable.

  27. So you figure vitamin D and calcium will make your bones harder. GP will tell you you will still need that viagra if you are going to tackle Donna on your move to the island.

  28. It’s in about 20% of the water!!!

Fix that and no need for vaccinations.

Avoid the water in areas where there are high numbers of cases.

The Government is at fault for not publishing the geographic locations of cases.

Luckily the single statement from the MOH re the Southern Corridor reveals a great deal.

LOL!! Your “risqué” sense of humour is imaginatively priceless.
You would do well on ‘British’ TV.

Are you suggesting that ‘The O(ld) geezer Gazerts’ would have to truncate his Boner and turn himself into a queen to tackle that Don of a dyke in order to deliver ‘Its’ just desserts?

He/She will certainly have to engage in a ‘pussy-cat’ fight with our ‘Cud Dear Bajan’ gal over that piece of locally cured meat.

  34. There are two competing narratives the media should be carrying.

Global temperature rise and droughts and natural cyclical changes, floods at the moment.

I see Kenya is failing because of droughts over the past two years.

    https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/drought-northern-kenya-pushes-millions-towards-hunger-2021-10-15/

But then I look up floods in Kenya and find this.

… and the expected surges in COVID cases are there to be seen.

Count now and see how long for COVID cases to rise.

    A month to 2 months I reckon.

Check France and see how long it took for floods to cause this panic and pandemonium.

    ‘France is about 3/4 vaccinated.

So you know nuff nuff breakthrough infections.

  38. Grasshopper

    This may help too.

  39. Europe is the only region with increasing COVID deaths because it is a region with increasing COVID cases.

It is a region with increasing COVID cases because it is a region with seriously bad recent flooding.

It will pass, unfortunately people will die.

The Governments should be enforcing protocols related to water use, not wearing a mask.

Maybe they should shut down some of the water sources and get by on rationing for the time being.

  45. Furthermore, evidence suggests that many enveloped viruses can remain infective in aqueous environments for days to months (Paleologos et al. 2020).

    Check this out!!

  46. Aqueous means water!!!

From the days of FNAF, or Fanny Fields I know water is referred to as the universal solvent!

Not saying the virus is in solution in water, just that water sure gobbles up anything (universal)!

    From WIKI

An aqueous solution is a solution in which the solvent is water. It is mostly shown in chemical equations by appending (aq) to the relevant chemical formula. For example, a solution of table salt, or sodium chloride (NaCl), in water would be represented as Na+(aq) + Cl−(aq). The word aqueous (which comes from aqua) means pertaining to, related to, similar to, or dissolved in, water. As water is an excellent solvent and is also naturally abundant, it is a ubiquitous solvent in chemistry. Aqueous solution is water with a pH of 7.0 where the hydrogen ions (H+) and hydroxide ions (OH−) are in Arrhenius balance (10−7).

A non-aqueous solution is a solution in which the solvent is a liquid, but is not water.[1] (See also Solvent and Inorganic nonaqueous solvent.)

Substances that are hydrophobic (‘water-fearing’) do not dissolve well in water, whereas those that are hydrophilic (‘water-friendly’) do. An example of a hydrophilic substance is sodium chloride. Acids and bases are aqueous solutions, as part of their Arrhenius definitions.

The ability of a substance to dissolve in water is determined by whether the substance can match or exceed the strong attractive forces that water molecules generate between themselves. If the substance lacks the ability to dissolve in water, the molecules form a precipitate.

It’s the drop in vitamin D levels

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Before the Vitamin D enters the equation, the virus needs to have been delivered to the Host, either through water, water droplets or the air or any other method.

Only then can the Host’s immune system go to work to defeat the virus or be defeated by the virus, however it has been delivered.
