Is collusion a crime? Since the beginning of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, allegations of “collusion” have dominated the debate. President Trump regularly claims there was “no collusion” with the Russians seeking to influence the 2016 presidential election. His attorneys and other supporters also have repeatedly argued that even if collusion took place, that would not be criminal. But last week, in a case brought by Mueller, a federal judge upheld the legal theory under which “collusion” may indeed be a crime.

I’m not sure how the term “collusion” became so central to discussions of the Mueller investigation. It really should be banned altogether. (I know, I know — this from the guy who just wrote a blog post with “collusion” in the title, right? But hey, I can’t unilaterally disarm.) All it does is breed confusion and lead to diversionary arguments about whether collusion is criminal.

It’s true there is no criminal statute titled “collusion.” But as I’ve noted in several places (here and here, for example) the relevant crime is conspiracy under 18 U.S.C. 371. Collusion refers to an agreement with others to achieve some improper end. In criminal law, we call that a conspiracy – a partnership in crime. And the breadth of the federal conspiracy statute makes it particularly well-suited for cases like Mueller’s probe of Russian interference with the election.

    If all of Mueller’s witnesses have one trait in common …. they are liars …. what use are they in a court of law?
    Who is he going to prosecute based on their evidence?
    John. I do not know how much of the Law of Evidence you have studied, but no evidence is as cogent as that coming from a convincing liar who has the requisite demeanour.

    I know now that you are unfamiliar with basic principles of Evidence. There is no presumption that a witness under oath is a liar and that presumption, even if did exist, it would certainly not arise from “following the news”…

    Folks, I continue asking myself, why do leftists think so differently from the rest of us?

    Oprah Winfrey said she is an “open-minded” Christian who does not believe Jesus came to die for our sins. In other words, Oprah rejects the Gospel. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

    Oprah says Jesus is not the only way to heaven. As a self proclaimed follower of Jesus, how can Oprah reject what he said? “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) I find it amazing that Oprah believes she can rewrite God’s plan for salvation to fit the agenda of herself and her leftist gurus. Oprah is free to believe whatever she wishes, but why call herself a Christian?

    Celine Dion believes it is wrong to perceive babies as male or female at birth. Celine believes children should be allowed to grow into the gender they prefer. Celine has launched a dark bizarre gender-neutral clothing line for kids. Rather than butterflies, Teddy bears and Bunny rabbits, Celine’s clothing line for children is covered in human skulls.

    Eastern Michigan University canceled its production of “The Vagina Monologues” because not all women have vaginas. The production has been deemed to lack “diversity and inclusion”; insensitive to transgenders. Folks, there are barely enough transgenders to fill a phone booth (0.6%).

    Will Ferrell, Oprah Winfrey and other Hollywood celebs have achieved great wealth via Capitalism. So why did these celebs campaign for socialist gubernatorial candidate in Georgia Stacey Abrams? Abrams is a huge supporter of government redistribution of wealth via oppressive tax increases. Abrams actually wanted illegal aliens to vote for her. Why do most Americans believe illegals invading our country is wrong and leftists passionately support it?

    Professed Christian Tyler Perry joined his Hollywood homeys in bashing Georgia for not allowing men to use women restrooms who claim to awake feeling like a women. Tyler Perry Studios absurdly parroted leftists’ claim that by not embracing a behavior, Georgia engaged in “bigotry”. A spokesperson for Perry said, “At Tyler Perry Studios, we believe in inclusion and equality for all people.” How does Perry square that with his Christian Bible which says, “Male and female He created them”? (Genesis 5:2)

    From kindergartners to adults, allowing men into women restrooms has led to numerous sexual assaults. Why does Perry and his fellow leftists ignore this commonsense reality? What kind of bizarre thinking causes leftists to conclude that accommodating a handful of disturbed men trumps protecting little girls and women? Meanwhile, leftists claim to be our superiors in regards to advocating for and protecting women.

    Regular Americans are repulsed upon learning that abortionist Kermit Gosnell murdered thousands of babies “after” they were born by snipping the spine at the base of the neck. Gosnell is America’s biggest serial killer. And yet, leftists (fake news media, Hollywood and Democrats) covered for Gosnell. Along with Obama, leftists support the murderous practices of partial birth abortion and infanticide. The same leftists who vehemently fight to protect their right to kill human babies before and after birth passionately protect animals and trees.

    Here’s another example of dark weirdo leftist thinking. Leftists scold conservatives for supposedly not caring about women. And yet, leftists support the acceleration of Sharia law in America. Sharia advocates female genital mutilation which involves piercing, cutting, removing or sewing closed a girl’s or woman’s genital for no medical reason. A leftist judge in Michigan has recently ruled that outlawing female genital mutilation is unconstitutional. Researchers estimate the judge’s ruling puts 513,000 girls and women at risk in the US. Incredibly, leftists say anyone who opposes this barbaric abuse of women is racist and haters.

    Leftists hate Jesus and passionately war against Christianity while embracing and passionately defending Islam. Islam unquestionably suppresses women and executes homosexuals. I scratch my head trying to understand why leftists support Sharia. If Sharia dominated America, leftists’ debauched lifestyles would be outlawed.

    The most disturbing example of weird leftist thinking is their desire for America, their homeland, to suffer and fail. When Democrats take over the house in January, they will be obsessed with rolling back every one of Trump’s remarkable achievements for America. Our economy is booming. Black, Hispanic, women and Asian unemployment are at historic lows.

    Trump has ended the US being exploited by foreign countries. Why is all this good news for Americans deemed bad news in the warped minds of leftists?

    Folks, leftists’ thinking comes from a strange place alien to the rest of us. They cannot be reasoned with. Leftists must be defeated. I am confident that God is on our side. Fasten your seat-belts – 2019 is going to be a very bumpy ride.

    Again according to CDC “Improved hygiene and access to regular changes of clean clothes is the only treatment needed for body lice infestations.”

    BUT he omitted to add, that another pathological liar has used his skills as a convincing liar to establish ‘facts’ to win his way to the WH…so why can’t others convincingly establish just as valid facts to oust him from there!

    Just a half hour after Trump’s new tweet, Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow admitted that he had put out falsehoods last year when he also claimed that the meeting was about adoption.

    “I had bad information at that time and made a mistake in my statement,” he said on ABC’s “This Week” program, before continuing attacks on the integrity of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in U.S. politics, a strategy Trump personally began from the time he took office.

    Sekulow ― whose career has made him an expert on school voucher and religious freedom cases, not criminal law – claimed that meeting with Russians tied to their country’s government with the goal of getting assistance to win a U.S. election was not illegal.

    “The question is how would it be illegal?” Sekulow said. “The question is, what law, statute or rule or regulation has been violated? No one has pointed to one.”

    In reality, numerous criminal lawyers have pointed out that colluding with a foreign power to win an election or even attempting to do so may constitute conspiracy against the United States.”

    I remember the good old days when liberals only accused white Republicans of racism, but in today’s world, everyone who disagrees with liberals is a racist. This is never more apparent than the argument over the caravans.

    Mexicans are being accused of being racists and xenophobic because they oppose the caravans who used force to get into their country. So now, Mexicans are racist against Hispanics? They are Hispanic. El Universal, a Mexican newspaper, found that 7 in 10 Mexicans object to the caravan migrants. 52% say that no migrant should be allowed into Mexico without documentation.

    And 55% say that incoming president Andrés Manuel López Obrador should be tougher on caravans.

    The Daily Caller reported:

    A new poll by El Universal, a Mexican newspaper, found that a majority of Mexicans have a negative view of the migrant caravan marching through their country.

    Thousands of members of the caravan are currently camping out in Tijuana, Mexico as they attempt to cross the southern U.S. border or claim asylum. Mexicans have expressed displeasure that the migrants are settling in their home cities and towns.

    The El Universal poll, as reported by NBC News, found that seven in 10 Mexicans have a negative view of the arrival of migrant families. Further, 52 percent support blocking migrants from entering the country without documentation and 55 percent think President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador should be tougher on future caravans.

    Joe DiGenova denounces the “pathetic state” of Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. The former U.S. attorney called Mueller’s handling an “embarrassment” and said there is “absolutely no evidence” in any of the cases he has brought.

    “He’s charging people with lying so that he can say in his report I would have proved collusion but all these people lied and prevented me from doing it,” DiGenova told FOX News host Laura Ingraham. “This is the new narrative of Mueller. He’s not of course mouthing it, but his actions prove conclusively that his new narrative is if these people hadn’t lied to me, I would have been able to prove collusion. This is the new Russian collusion theme now. This is what he’s going to do. That’s going to be what the report is going to be about.”

    “There is absolutely no evidence of that in any of the cases that he has brought,” DiGenova said Wednesday. “That is why he is now focusing on these side characters to accuse him of lying or perjury because his narrative is going to be I couldn’t prove collusion because they wouldn’t let me. This is where we are. This is the pathetic state of Mueller’s handling of this. This is an embarrassment.”
