Bizzy Williams, “leader of the entrenched white corporate class, slapped him down and reminded all and sundry who pays the bills and calls the tunes

Our erudite Prime Minister, Mr. Freundel Stuart spoke the truth, when he said that there are powerbrokers that want to control black politicians but want no contact with the masses. As the Prime Minister said: “They don’t want to dirty their hands.” In other words, they avoid politics but want to be powerbrokers within the system. He also asserted that he is proud to be of the political class and that this class knows how to bury their differences when it is necessary.

Former Prime Minster, Erskine Sandiford, once reminded a group of corporate heavy boys that he was “not elected in a board room”; Dr. Don Blackman reminded us that there were white shadows, whose main focus was to influence and control the black political management class and another former Prime Minister, Mr. Owen Arthur, called Mr. Harold Hoyte, a black power player, a “negrocrat”. When we examine these comments, we realize that Mr. Stuart is not that far off target.

On the heels of Stuart’s speech, we have the Mr. Ralph “Bizzy” Williams, informing us that wealthy business persons pump money into the elections campaigns of both the Barbados Labour Party and the Democratic Labour Party. The revealed strategy, according to Williams is to be equally generous to both parties. He boldly proclaimed that he supports the PIG, which is the Party in Government. We note the acronym P.I.G- those who feed at the public trough.

Serious observers will no doubt connect the dots and understand that Williams’ decision to go public with his comments is an act of premeditated corporate political slaughter of the black political management class. While Stuart, the present leader of the black political class was touting his qualifications and immense love and association for his group; Williams the leader of the entrenched white corporate class, slapped him down and reminded all and sundry who pays the bills and calls the tunes.

During the last campaign, citizens were concerned about the expenses incurred and wanted to know how the parties, BLP and DLP, were financing the elaborate entertainment packages, advertisements and dishing out of hard cash. They were told by Mr. Dale Marshall of the Barbados Labour Party, that their efforts were being financed by car washes and cake sales. Mr. Ronald Jones of the Democratic Labour Party said that the DLP received a “$500 here and there” from supporters. We recently learned that candidates spent over two million dollars to finance their efforts. This represents a whole lot of cake sales and car washes. It takes quite a bit of ‘here and there” contributions to reach that level.

Well, Williams have exposed them. If Jones, Marshall and Williams are speaking the truth, it means that somebody is lying. I totally agree with Mr. Peter Wickham, pollster and political scientist, who opines that unless we know the level of corporate and other donations, the figure of two million dollars that was given as the official sum spent by candidates, in the last elections, is useless.

The apologists and loyal defenders of the BLP/DLP, and those who support the corporate class should now realize that our country is about to undergo or is already undergoing, a very serious and dangerous shift, in its political/corporate culture. As the old people say: “Those who have eyes to see let them see.”

What contributions have you made towards the advancement of this country? Keep watching Mr. Williams and the other businessmen and I hope that you get far. I believe that you like to speak about white people because you would’ve love to be one. Jealousy and envy are two bad things. I hope that all business people would shut down all the businesses in Barbados and see what would happen to this country. You talking so much junk that you can’t make a meaningful conversation to the blog. Stop making yourself look and sound foolish. My hope is that you would get smarter, understand more and ask what you can do to make a difference. You need to ask yourself some questions? Have I ever deceived anyone? Am I human? Do I have any faults or flaws of my own? Is Mr. Williams and the other businessmen the only ones who are doing everything wrong? How about the politicans who are causing this mess in the country? I am now convinced that they are white too. I hope that you would agree with that. God help us all!

I want to support you in the way you put that little bush mongrel in his place as he keeps pissing against an imaginary lamppost.

He and others like ac and the ‘Negroman’ (there is a common association among them all) keep blaming the local whites for the current ills of Barbados as if they are the Cabinet or still in control the economy.
Neal & Massy just removed the remaining vestiges of the erstwhile local white conglomerate. A move back to the hilt by Donville Inniss but not a word of dissent or condemnation from this rabid anti ‘Trickidadian’ bushman living in the past. Who sold their shares to Emera?

He, the B T fella, should stick to what he is good at; calling the black Bajans ‘brass bowls’ for allowing the other ethnic groupings like the Syrians, Lebanese East Indians, Pakistanis and, here of late, the Chinese to come in and take over from the easy target local whites (a dying breed of nobodies).

  3. yeap i say yes i say the whites stand between the black politicians and the blacks people……sandwich style ,,another reason the blp can;t get their leadership straightened out,,,,,,,rather having a choice which is pro whites that being OSA and prefer to reject Mia which they perceives to be showing too many positive reactions and responses to issues which affect blacks negatively as her being too pro black,,

  4. ac
It pains me to have to read some things on BU. Why do we keep focusing on this black and white issue. Look, would you like to become white? some of you are so fixated on this stupidness. We have more important matters to deal with in this country. Some of you are trying to escape the real issues plaguing this country. See if you could help the Government solve some of the problems they are having; help them create some economic growth, help students pay their UWI fees, keep the people employed, help the hospital, help the Ministry of Transport, help us reduce the import bill and export more.

  5. @iwatchya

Read the caption of the article,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it,,,brings into focus the relationship of the White elite and the Black politician,,,,,ac did not raise the race issue,,just expanded on the issue of race from what was brought to table in the article ,.maybe it is u that have a problem with race given your knee jerk reaction to other peoples comment,,,

  6. There is a very simple reality if we were to honestly survey the Barbados landscape – economic power is controled by the minority in Barbados of which the White group is significant. Deal with it!

  7. @ David
No need to constrain one’s scope to Barbados
All over the world…..where ever they go….these people have exhibited the same traits.
Domination through war, Slavery, bribery, …anything to amass wealth and power….

Miller knows that s/he and his/ her party have traditionally been at their beck and call ….like prostitutes….pandering to their every wish.
This DLP is simply so “piss poor” that they seem bent on being even bigger HOs that the BLP has been….

Yea Miller……do you know anything about those contracts signed by the BLP to enrich Bizzy with taxpayers dollars….. While B’s have to scrunt? ….On this issue, given your party’s history one would think you would HUSH….

    Iwatchya
You could only be an idiot.
Check the newspapers and see what Bushie has contributed in multiple areas in Barbados over the past 40 years…..

Only an ac-level moron would look at a blog name to make judgements about national contributions….
…Is someone making a “national contribution” when they bribe, cheat and manipulate the rules to enrich themselves, their family and their minority kin?
What is the “national contribution” when someone can use their money, influence and power over low-level-political clowns – to force widows and pensioners to pay their last savings in shiite tax to fund their garbage / WTE scheme….?

    National contribution Bushie’s ass!!!

  8. Bush tea you forgot the war vets lol

  9. But David are you not convinced that the majority likes it so, does everything possible to maintain that status quo and will strenuously resist anybody who proffers anything different. You think the Black people who work for Bizzy would not kill you for him if you try to imagine another economic world. And at the bottom of it, it may be no more beneficial to most of us if the White and Indian elites were to be replaced by Black Bothas. We have some of them already who are as bad as, if not worse, than Whitey or the Indians. These people have the universal concept that they can do in majority Black countries what Black peoples can never do in India, for example. What does this say about us? We are the only people everywhere who open ourselves to this brand of domination, in all forms. Look at our friend Bushie, do you think we can ever convince him that this White Man god he serves has our people in this predicament? Oh no! That that fictitious god was borrowed from his own ancestors and sold back to him wrapped in pack of lies. Until we can reject this White god in their heaven we will be forever their servants on this earth. Therefore self determination for African peoples everywhere must start with a recognition that the White man’s god and his bible are the biggest lies ever perpetrated on African peoples. There is no internal remedy, in White peoples’ systems, for real justice for us. The opposite is true, White people systems were specifically designed to destroy African peoples and they will not stop until we confront them and destroy them – the system!

  10. @Pacha

    He who owns capital rules.

Look at the US and who controls and this is a dominant White country.

In Barbados we have owners of capital and race combinng becaise the power is located with the Whites. It exacerbates the problem for us.

  11. @ David
Where do they get their capital? That is the more important question

  12. And the Boy Scouts Association.

In this morning’s Nation Pastor Nigel Taylor, head of the Boy Scouts Association has said that the Association has received a muni tax bill for $15,000 half of which is due in 21 days. He says that the Association does not have the money. So contrary to the Minister’s advice to pay first, then to lodge an appeal they simply cannot pay.

Are we intent on destroying all of our social capital? Are we intent on forcing widows, poor people, and NGO’s to encumber or sell their properties? Because if they cannot pay the properties will have to be sold at some point in order to clear the debt. And who will buy the properties then? The same rich white people? The same foreigners? Did the Minister think this through? Did he take advice from his technical people?

If highly respected like the Boy Scout’s Association cannot function will be be better off or worse off?

If our elders are impoverished will we be better off?

  13. @Bush Tea

Has Bizzy not won the desal contract to supply the South as well? Stand corrected here.

And David when a rebalancing exercise is attempted the likes of Bizzy Williams will keep a bitter set of whining, it is with amusement when I hear this same person making these nonsense speeches about campaign funding and crying crocodile tears only because as a person who was prepared to buy an election result to the tune delivered to his cohort Hallam Nicholls at his home in Warrens on the morning before the elections at 10.30 am the tidy sum of $1.4 Million BARBADOS Dollars, you think that he has any correctness to be now in the press talking his crap, he is a pathetic one sided White Shadow one that would like to buy an election outcome and then use that purchasing power to dictate what contracts he should be entitled to have access to, one
Of those White Shadows who thru campaign contributions feel they ought to control Barbadian business and Barbadian thinking but who at the same time as buying a popitical outcome are cowards to face the electorate themselves and receive the endorsement of the public to become a duly elected representative of the people and not buying their power and position .

  15. How much water does the South Coast Sewage plant output?

Can’t be more than what is used by the properties connected to it!!

Will the sewage collection be extended further inland?

Was there ever provision made for this?

Do you understand what finally having to resort to this source of water means for the “development” that has taken place in Barbados over the years?

I believe the position in which we find ourselves reflects the lack of strategic planning which went into that development.

There are far harder questions for Barbados to answer than the colour of the skin of the man who gets the contract because I believe we have reached the dead end in the road … regardless of colour!!

I could rail about the $50 million spent at Greenland in digging a hole that is yet to be used and who got it but it isn’t the colour of the skin that is at fault, it is the absence of integrity and forward thinking that were exhibited by all the parties involved … both the “black” BB’s and the “white “BB’s” whose names are on the record and stamped all over that fiasco.

…. but it would be of no use!!

Time to put the lot of them where they belong, in jail.

That is the only way of getting the new set of BB’s who will no doubt appear to understand their BB’s are on the line too.

  16. …… I would like to think of the $50 million as part of the taxes wasted and would suggest it be offset against any new taxes the GOB may want to levy to perpetuate the mess that Barbados has become.

For me, one way for the corrupt parties to avoid jail is to refund the taxpayers that $50 million with interest ……. or pay the municipal taxes themselves.

    Enough is enough.

  17. As the time draws near for the final act of the political death of Mottley Avatar
As the time draws near for the final act of the political death of Mottley

The plan devised by Mottley , Elizabeth Thompson was to privatize the entire garbage collection and disposal and it was intented that it was to be given to Bizzy Williams to do trust me if we are paying $2.00 a day now it surely would have been significantly more were Williams doing the complete program his part is presently part of the reason for having to implement this municipal waste tax. There was an unholy alliance with E Thompson and Mottley to make a small fortune out of the waste and when Arthur got hold of the plan he nearly went mad in a Cabinet meeting, he said that they were setting up to make a fortune for themselves aided by Williams. Why do you think not even a toffee wrapper was ever sent to Greenland only because Arthur scuttled Mottley and Thomposon scheme to thief money, they left the Cabinet Room in tears and he told them not to threaten to resign but to resign it was Millar who ran after them and consoled them but left to Arthur they could have left and nothing wiuld be lost.

  18. @ David
If capital ownership means a right to rule, why do we go through this charade of voting? A national audit of resources might be better. Why have law courts? Etc

  21. But David we can’t on the one hand go on about ‘no system of government is perfect’ when obvious imperfections in the very system that predominates is in front our very eyes and cannot be righted. This is not so by a accident of history!

  23. @ Pacha
Sometimes you can be so simple minded…..

Has it ever crossed your mind that in the same way that we have allowed the white people take our money, our dignity and our pride and do as they like ….to become rich and powerful ….and we are content to define ourselves as poor and dispossessed…….
….that we may ALSO have allowed them to take away OUR GOD, OUR inheritance and OUR destiny ….and to MISUSE this power to their own ends….?

….so you are suggesting that in the same way that we are HAPPY to remain poor and subjected to the likes of Bizzy…….we should abandon OUR GOD too….having been ousted by these charlatans…?

Not very logical on your part is it…?

You can talk all the shiite you want…..Bushie KNOWS the truth….
You are no better that Bizzy’s black workers who would die to maintain the status quo…..if you have NO INTEREST in seeking the truth and in RETAKING your rightful inheritance- just because it has been hijacked by these money-driven devils.

  24. @ John
Boss man!! Ya licking cork this morning…..
Bushie on board for a change 🙂

  25. How dumb shall we continue to be here on BU. The whites in Barbados realized that their corporate structure shall broken into pieces to be OWNED by Blacks. The White solution was to GIVE AWAY their businesses to WHITE Trinidadians!!

Iwatchya and concious speak to that!!

  26. Two issues that I keep far from…Race and Religion. Both underlying factor is MONEY and POWER.

  27. very true what u say David ..however blacks are not willing to make all necessary sacrifices that would put them on a path of selfreliance..therefore the alternative would persist..one of collusion between black politician and the white elite..one that is fined tuned and inherited throughout all democractic regimes…

  28. @ Bushie
We know that your acili encourages a belief that hedons like us are incapable of rationality, especially when it comes to matters of ‘religion’. Even if we rejoin by arguing that an African consciousness is incompatible with religion it makes no difference in your mindset. We have long determined that we are the latter.

It is a lie to say that White people stole the God/s of African people. They may have tried. But what kind of a god can be stolen. Indeed if that is true, such a god is not worth his/her salt and should be abandoned forthwith. The evidence supports the invention of your god.

The truth is that White people stole some knowledge about understanding reality and wrote a pack of lies in Books and gave them to the people saying these are the words of ‘god’. Their god! In those narratives, though replete with provable lies, Black people were to be the hewers of water and the Whites were to be served by the ‘wicked’ Black peoples. And all of western civilization was built on these lies. This can be proved historically without a reliance on the fiction in the bible or koran

So if we are caught up, and have been caught up, in a world order that at its root is based on racism, the false White man’s god, economic domination and so on why should any part of that survive? Has it been possible anywhere to separate the White man’s religion from capitalism and economic domination? And where is this false Christian god on which you rely when his chosen people continue to destroy all peoples of colour and the environment? We know! He will intercede when it suits him.

You talk about rightful inheritance, but you are again wrong. This cool aid anesthecises the faithful Black submissives with a lie that keeps the White man’s internal logic alive. Religion has nothing to do with African conscientiousness or spirituality and must of necessity be poles apart. You are not known to support these matter so how can you make a comparative analysis. How you ever read these matters? Or studied African histories or cultures?

Well you talk about the truth. But there is no one truth. There are many truths. That unitary logic only helps to maintain the lie about a White man’s god and the pack of lies contained in the bible. If you want to know a truth you will be well advised to burn your bible, as a point of departure. This may open up the way for knowing your self and your real ancestors. They may then guide you to some truths. But it is impossible to believe that Black people will ever achieve self-determination while still praying to the gods of our open enemies.

  29. Oh, how fools seek to find comfort in their foolishness!! HE either IS or HE is not. But one day all, in the clear light of the sun, shall see!!

  31. @ Pacha
    …see what Bushie means now…?
Normally you are coherent and logical…..read your above again and tell Bushie if it ain’t a lotta shiite…. 🙂

What is so hard to get about a special people who fail to grasp their unique blessings and who sell off same to others for a bowl of soup?
We do it with our wealth ….as in the African Continent…..as in our local businesses…..even in our garbage – in this case…..

We did the same thing with our UNIQUE identity……relegating ourselves (in our minds) as the most cursed on earth – when in fact the OPPOSITE is true…
…and we do the same thing with our relationship with that absolute eternal entity that created the whole experience of life on our earth.

If you are happy to continue playing “poor me” – dat is your business
    ….BUT NOT STINKING BUSHIE….. 🙂
    …Bushie is one o’ BBE’s blessed boys……

  32. The vast majority of Bajans are mild, meek and fearful. We talk and talk and talk.

We even invented a phrase that describes what we do ” lotta long talk”.

Some of us have grown comfortable with the “trickle down” economy of Barbados where the Black majority lives off the ‘trickle” from the rich White and other Elite minority.

The rich in Barbados exploited a captive labour force to become richer. When you live in a tenantry with children to feed you have to work for massa even if you hate the fella on a horse wearing a cork hat or in a jeep wearing beige Dockers and a white shirt with a logo.

There has to be a redistribution of wealth and opportunity in the near future or there could be social unrest like never seen before in Barbados.

  33. here we go again, always blaming some one else for our situation. its the white man, the jew, the chiney or the indian. they are out to get ‘us’. STUPSE.

  34. @ Bushie
We are the ones who teach that African peoples were the first humans on earth. And we go back for at least hundreds of thousands of years, if not millions depending on who is counting. But your Christian mindset only goes back to 6 thousand years because you follow a people who have no real history – a made up people. Why would you hold on to something that is just 6 thousand years when you are the ‘I AM” – LOL

So to locate who we are in a fictitious christian religion is a nonsense. African people gave the world all the leading religions but these same people use this allegory to suppress us. Being a christian epitomizes ignorance. Why follow a man who cannot be independently proven to have ever existed. Until we can get this foolishness out of our heads White people and others will continue to dominate us, in all ways. Black people are the most likely people to run around talking about a White Jesus. No other people are so much so inclined.

  35. Oh, Egyptology where our minds wander back to time that might have been and was supposed to be! When we so far removed ourselves from the true and LIVING GOD that men’s fables pleases the philosophical itch!! When desperately we try to drag those of us now back to the gods made of wood and stones buttressed by ceremonies that would make the dance around the Bohemian Grove look like child’s play!! Oh, FATHER help us with this struggle!!

  36. If we are serious about destroying the stranglehold of ethnic minorities’ domination over those countries with black majorities, we must look at the model as presented by comrade Mugabe of Zimbabwe.

This man has put the fear of God in those minorities who seek to manipulate and control their black majority. He has acted on his loathing of these groups by confiscating their so-called ownership of African land and returned it to the original owners of that land: black Africans.

We know that Mugabe is an old style Tyrant. We know that he has made some terrible mistakes in governing his country. The western media have vilified him – quite rightly. When he passes away he would have left a powerful legacy to the numerous black countries struggling to make good after centuries of colonisation. That legacy is simple. Those colonisers from the late 1500’s have no authority to manipulate, to reside or rule in those countries which they colonised.

We can talk as much as we want. The only solution to restore the historical injustice of colonisation is simple: repatriate forthwith those who benefitted from this legacy. Why should an individual or a group benefit from theft. With regard to those other minorities who were displaced during the period of colonisation their status should be reviewed.

Talk is cheap; action equates to self-liberation.

  37. @ Pacha
    LOL
Careful boss….it looks like you are the one who is caught up in whitey’s teachings about 6000 years and all that…..you ever heard Bushie with that shiite…?
Don’t presume what Bushie “buys into” or not…. Bushie’s narrative can go back to BEFORE the concept of time itself was instituted….

What do you mean “We are the ones who teach that African peoples were the first humans on earth”……no intelligent thinkers dispute this today….
The black man is the closest to the complete original human model – and the closest to his maker – who created him “in his own image”…

Others have come along and muddied the waters for their own materialistic purposes, …but you are making the fundamental mistake of throwing away the muddy water, baby and all…..

……a good “bush bath” and a little “rinse off” – in some natural spring water – and the baby will look good as new….. hahahaha

Who is it that we are ascribing this blame to again?

Bizzy Williams, Mrs Ram, COW and he piggy wife, the injuns, de chineys, Haloute and he Chefette?

292K people who claim to be free from manacles on their wrists now ruled by black men and women (and “in-between-ers”) crying foul and claiming that 8,000 people, a minority by any count, have disadvantaged us?

Brother Hants I normally support your astute wisdom and submissions but I would want to find out what you mean when you said and i quote “There has to be a redistribution of wealth and opportunity in the near future or there could be social unrest like never seen before in Barbados”

Let me present this alternative view point.

We have an education system that is supposed to be the best in the world, producing thousands of students year after year, the majority of whom are black, who graduate and go into private and public sectors endeavours, and of course there is a set that does not work, not a few of whom then present themselves for national service as parliamentary representatives, and become our MPs.

“The blind leading the patently blind” yet these followers CANNOT understand why they are up shite creek

“Have you ever called CGI for a quote?” After pressing the various buttons, every time you get the message “Please hold, you are first in the queue!!” after which you continue to hold for 10-15 minutes because you are deluded to believe “you are first”.

People, especially Bajans, believe anything that they are told. The point is that we are some of the most ingrunt swine on the face of the earth who fail to understand our history, not for lack of being taught it in our schools but simple because of the disconnect between the words that we were made to recite every morning.

“I pledge allegiance to my cuntry Bulbados and to the Hag, to whore out and deplete our resources and during my lifetime, to fleece any company or government that may employ me, wherever I may go (unless I emigrate to Amurca where by osmosis, I does change this ethos when I learn that that sorta pledge does get we fire in a heartbeat)

We have a reasoning disorder which flaunts the flaccid accomplishments and scores achieved at the 11+ and CXC and UWI (a graduate in every house) while missing the simple reality of rational thought and logic.

This is not a white thing or a black thing, it is an issue of reasoning that commences at primary school, with our teachers and our intelligencia fostering thought and reasoning instead of the current “rote and regurgitation”.

With such reasoning and logic comes RESPECT and while it will always obtain that you ent gine like me or I ent gine like de pastor brawling son at we church, we is still gine RESPECT each other’s reasoning capacity.

On those (few) occasions when I say that i have some good friends “who are white” I am also very mindful of the sanctimonious manner that some whites say this statement.

I add I will not fool myself about the inequalities that currently exist, but, post a reasoned position, one based upon encounters, I can make also say that phrase, not out of subservience as many of my black brethren do, but out of the studied and remarked experience of encounter and said “non hunkie ‘s” un-relentless application to certain principles.

See how I can interpose a generic derogatory term within my submission and for a white reader who is capable of reasoning, there will be no string of invectives?

Like I said respect, arising from reasoning and an education that did not promote regurgitation but sound logic.

One where, even in the passtime of life, thought that the mindspace was to be populated with pictures and experiences to enhance the human experience and not dogfilth like days of our lives.

What reasoning can shitists like We Jonesing bring to the Education (rather edukshon) equation?

Bereft as he/they are of any intellect?

  40. Bur Bushie
You must know that you are our brother, always. And obviously we must write to bring along the others. We almost agree with your near totally enlightened view. We must however make a respectful departure when you went on about somebody creating somebody else. Don’t keh how we try to bring you along yuh still heading back to fairy tales. LOL

  41. @pieceuhderockyeahright,

Using your 292k minus 8000 means there are about 280,000 people living in Barbados and at least 250,000 are trapped on the rock.

As their incomes and opportunities to earn a living diminish what do you think will happen?.

It is not just Government that must create jobs and Invest in Barbados.

The private sector must does step up, create more good paying jobs and that is the best way to redistribute wealth.

Government cannot keep borrowing and taxing to support Business ventures for the private sector.

  42. @ Pacha
It is not about “somebody” creating somebody….

…..it is much more like SOMEBODY – brilliant Big Boss Engineers – creating temporary, constrained and limited, ‘nobodies’ …..but with the unprecedented POTENTIALIALITY to grow into somebodies…..

…and to illustrate, demonstrate and replicate this unbelievable undertaking, this brilliant designer also designed in nature, the ability to create temporary, constrained and limited fetuses in the womb…..with the potentiality to successfully navigate the challenges of pregnancy and go on to become “somebody” within that family…..
    …get it?

Honestly Pacha…..open your mind and you will be blown away by the pure brilliance, simplicity and majesty of it all….

  43. @ Bushie

We surrender, we surrender all, all to Bushie! LOL

  44. Piece………Amen.

  45. Answer me this. Does anyone in Barbados know an honest lawyer or accountant here whom you can trust not to run away with your money? Including relatives. An estate agent/realtor you can trust? It’s just a matter of course that they will try to hang on to your money as long as possible. This is NOT NORMAL!
Though these professions are famous throughout the world for being slippery, in most Western countries you can find an honest lawyer or broker. Try it here. Can you go to hospital without your fearing your possessions being stolen? Just how well can you trust the police?
Without transparency laws, how can you trust any of them let alone the politicians? Why have these laws not been acted upon?
This is a democracy, so far. The only ones to blame are the people, for allowing this to happen. It’s no use ranting and raving about the “crooks”. It’s become a way of life to trick your way through. See it in almost every aspect of your life.
Barbados has become a nation of crooks, where everybody expects to trick or be tricked, from your waitress/employee to your employer, your legal advisor and your Prime Minster and his cabinet. Everybody is on the make, regardless of the common good. Hell, can you trust your dentist?! Even if that dentist is totally trustworthy would you not suspect him or her of tricking you out of your cash?
Obama, from a minority ethnic group, becomes President of the most powerful nation on earth. Could a white person become Prime Minister in Barbados? Highly unlikely if not never!
Yet isn’t it odd that many solvent Bajans would prefer to trust a white employer/employee, doctor, lawyer or dentist? I wonder why that is…? Oh yeah, must be ingrained feelings of insecurity owing to slavery. Not.

“Should all the Africans in the New World be forcibly repatriated to the homeland of Africa?”

This would be unjust. These descendants of slaves would be rootless in Africa. Firstly they would be unable to trace both their country of origin and ancestry; secondly they would be unable to communicate in the numerous African languages and dialects, thirdly they would encounter a foreign culture; fourthly I do not think that they would fit in!

What of those white Europeans who arrived in the “new world” just prior to the importation of slaves from Africa? They would have no problem re-integrating back into European society. Unlike the descendants of slaves they would be able to trace back their ancestry without any difficulties. They would also be able to communicate in the same language: English. The culture would be familiar. Are you aware that Barbados is referred to as “little England”?

The blood of many African slaves is, sadly, etched in the soil of the Caribbean. Great Britain and her colonists profited from this slave economy and in the process disenfranchised the millions and millions of my ancestors both past and present. I hope this answers your question.

Has any one of you watched the “black” (genre that is) comedy called Bad Milo or something of the sort, it is about a man who gives birth to an imp from out of his pooch!

While the very thought of it causes this poor old man to cringe i have recently been toying with the concept of it being possible that the 284K of the black Bajans (292 – 8K whites and others) must have been born from this nether orifice.

“No man of woman born cud be dis ingrunt, you mean, every 5 years, we does sit down and get de same shite do to we? Jes so?”

Man I beg wunna to forgive the old man’s babbling for it is only by using this Green Gates theory that I does satisfy me’self dat dis is why a whole nation of people could be so scatologistically disposed – another word for we electing these shite talkers and doers of extreme jobby.

Remember that I did not only single out the DLP. Though I would say that they seem more adept at plastering these jobby taxes and other 400 million jackass ideas, ingrunce applied liberally to the faces of 95% of the black bajans who have voted for them and the nex’ band uh crooks, jes so.

The first Black Phd in the United States was William E Du Bois whom I believe is much better known as one of the co-founders of the NAACP the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People.

Du Bois, in his first book “the Philadephia Negro” coined the phrase the “submerged tenth” a term which preceded his more famous phrase/concept – the “talented tenth”.

We have somehow either (a) read the book backwards or (b) being backwards, were unable to read the book or (3) had someone read an incantation, Psalm 23 backwards, while tossing salt over their left shoulder, over all 284K of our names, that is minus 17 buhkvunts, and it is through this generational curse of BLP and DLP we find ourselves being “the submerged ninety-fifth”

The evidence would suggest that it is “door number 3” and, as if to add insult to injury, after that obeah get do pun we, dem beat us mercilessly, wid de same book wid we names (otherwise called the electoral register) , all about the head.

  48. Exclaimer

All of what you said simply means, we ain’t going back to Afica cause we don’t want to be there, anywhere but there please. Pure fuckery. The Jews don’t sit around blaming anyone, they get up off their asses and work hard and smart.

  49. now i have been writing on here on and off since around 2010 about solar power, electric cars, reasons why tourism is not going so well [nasty conditions, nasty bothersome people, noise, dust, garbage and so much more] i see now in 2014 that every thing i have written about is now coming to the front of barbados minds.is this just a coincidence or have i put all these ideas in your heads? the thing is i get cursed on here,i get ignored,i get called names and yet all i have spoken of is coming to the fore front in barbados lately!!.seems like i am a real what ever you want to call me ,
but i had all or most of the ideas. how strange.
go back in your archives and look if you wish.
but of course it was some one else idea now.
check back and see in your archives and see .some one had to say what i have said and some one had to be blunt and not just write nonsense,
with a stupid yard fowl name with no picture.
thanks for threats, cursing, and the hacking of my face book and the set up.
    it has been a pleasure.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I just want to point out the obvious ….. this is so far from the truth as to be ridiculous.

Plantations Ltd. Todds Estates etc. went to CLICO and Cyril Duprey.

By no stretch of the imagination could your generalization hold in CLICO’s case.

CLICO is identified in my mind with Leroy Parris, Cyril Duprey and David Thompson.

I can’t think of a “white” face involved in the CLICO mess but I am sure there are some.

…. and then the Barbados Government sold its shares in BNB and ICBL to mention but two.

Again your generalization does not stand.

People on here generally describe the GOB as “Black”!!

What you could say in the case of the GOB, assuming the description of the GOB as “Black” is valid is that “Blacks” in Barbados realized their ability to manage and control corporate structures in Barbados was lacking so they gave away their businesses to Trinis interests and others …… now all we have to do is to determine the colour of the Trini interests that received the gifted businesses!!

The truth is that the only colour that matters is the colour of money, and that is neither black nor white!!

Neal and Massa’s acquisition of BS& T …… shares held by both black and white Bajans came down to money …. and its use!!
