Global chatter on all the news feeds – both traditional and social media – is about the withdrawal of Biden from the race for president of the United States on the weekend. He immediately endorsed his faithful Vice President Kamala Harris, a Black female.

The blogmaster does not see Harris beating Trump based on the current lay of the political land but there is time for that to change. Her selection of a running mate AND further developments from court decisions affecting Trump may have influence on the race.

    There was time when Trump was the news. With Biden running Trump was the headliner.

    Now in a head-to-head against Kamala his dominance over the news is broken. Some days I don’t hear his name.

    Even the attempted shooting gets very little cover (now). Without openly admitting it, I believe most of America sees the shooting as a con or a a scam and considers him a flimflam man (had to work that in).

    Only the trumpeters remain. He has to come up with a next trick/con/scam to be grip the news.

    I NEVER mentioned anything about any poll on the 10th. Perhaps it’s you who is “trying to pull a fast one.”

    There isn’t any difference between you and Donald Trump.

    Whether or not we want to believe the polls, the fact remains Harris entered the presidential race about three weeks ago and her ratings have risen to match and is expected to surpass Trump’s.

    They concluded it could not be done.

    Polls are a waste of time and polling sites are monkey sites producing data for the media to shape public opinion.

    Claims he was on board a helicopter with Wille Brown when it made an emergency landing and has records to prove it, while people who were actually there said Trump is lying.

    Claims he does not know anything about ‘Project 2025,’ yet at least 140 people who worked with his administration are involved.
    Ironically, Trump made references to the same ‘Project 2025’ during his interview with Elon Musk.

    I was preparing for Trump to win when Joe Biden was the candidate. Unlike John, I am prepared to accept reality, whether I like it or not. I also have doubts. I waver. I’m not always certain I have it right.

    John never has doubts, neither does he waver. Even the Jesus Christ he pretends to worship is reported to have doubted and wavered in the Garden of Gethsemane.

    Just think – his Father had told him what the plan was, and yet he asked if it was really necessary and wished for another plan!

    But John believeth every word that proceedeth from the mouths of Donald Trump and those who support and promote him and extreme right-wing ideology.

    This should be enough for discerning minds to dismiss him as a singer of looney tunes.

    Those with brain cells free of toxicity can recognise that Kamala is not exactly heaven sent but neither is she the devil’s main demon either. I’m not expecting the horrible foreign policy to change much under her any more than it did under Obama, however I believe that more of my black American brothers and sisters will probably be allowed to keep their lives under her administration.

    The American machinery will chug along until outside forces throw several spanners in the works.

    However, whether or not he said ‘except for Lincoln’…… does NOT change the fact it’s still a LIE.

    He has done so much for Black people that he did not provide funding for HBCU’s in the presidential budget.

    We have seen how his lackies have been ‘paving the way’ for the introduction of ‘Project 2025.’

    You need to understand the enormity of the billion viewers.

    I found the stream on Barry Cunningham and watched it as I would have done if FOX or CNN or MSNBC carried it on the net.

    He had almost 60,000 people watching from the beginning but as far as Musk was concerned, his feed accounted for 1 view.

    At the end of the conversation there were more than 48,000 on Barry Cunningham’s site when I looked.

    Others whose podcasts millions routinely watch also provided the same service as Barry Cunningham.

    Grasshopper might sit down in front of his television set watching CNN and MSNBC and conclude Kamala Harris is taking the lead. However, the viewership on these two is a tiny fraction of the billion.

    Trump thus has access to millions more than he could normally reach, including the important segment of the voting population called the independents. Clearly the whole world was watching.

    MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC etc were rendered irrelevant.

    Kamala Harris can get on X and do the same thing but she hasn’t even given interviews with her own media so it is pretty sure she won’t do it.

    Trump is said to have 90 million followers on X. All he has to do during the upcoming DNC is to setup a studio and live stream his comments on X each day on the convention!!

    The mainstream media has become irrelevant as a source of information on the election.

    This is no different from what the mainstream media is saying as it is waking up to the fact that X has trumped it, pun intended.

    Five days after the first debate in September I will look again at them, but the final result in November will determine if they were accurate.
