I wish you had learn the lesson in your youth that you get no browie-points by snitching on your boss, but only labels which follows you to your next job prospect. I have seen it happened throughout my working experience here in the states; the honest guy has to take the fall to make things right.
Now, a little over two years ago a state cop snitched on his fellow state cops for things their hadn’t business doing, and founded himself assigned in the boondocks under a bridge. That was the price this guy paid for doing the right thing, and the funny thing about it, none of his fellow officers who knew what was going on supported him.
Listen! My experience has taught me that there is no honour in snitching or being the whistle-blower because for one, you’re hated by the employees as well as management for doing the right thing, and will be blacklisted as a Rat.
So then a man of your character is caught between a rock and a hard place in deciding the consequences to be had regarding whether or not to report such illegalities in the workplace.

My questions are directed at the working environment with respect to one boss committing acts of wrongings involving ill-gotten-gain, and I am quite sure that is what Caswell Franklyn was talking about as well.
And for your information I am a Mandated-Reporter, ask anyone there in Barbados if their are aware of the term? And according to my job description: if I witness any kind of sexual, emotional and psychological abuse taking place in my work environment, I am mandate by state statute to report it or else I myself could be arrested and charged for failing to do so. On the other hand, If I witness the boss stealing the company funds, I would think twice about reporting it- given the repercussions I know am going to face after doing so.
So to answer your question old one, if I witness any kind of sexual molestation in my work environment I would most certainly report it because failing to do could quite possibly cause me my freedom according to the state statute which I have already alluded to.

People who are that religious should go work for their church and once the church is signing their pay checks then they can obey all the dictates of their religion, but once your pay check comes from the taxpayers who are of all colors, religions, genders, sexual orientations then do your work or go home.

I am saying where was the moral-outrage from Christendom regarding the stance this woman’s had taken with respect to her religious convictions? Where was her support in the Christian community regarding the stance she had taken?
All I saw on the news was a handful of conservative republicans try to aroused the collective awareness of the public to garner some sort of support for the republican platform .
Now I attended Sunday service last week and was quite amazed by the way in which my pastor tiptoed around this issue as though the congregation wasn’t mindful of it.
The congregation I would assume was quite cognizant of the fact that the circumvention of the pastor’s to avoid engaging the issue had much to do with the federal tax exempted, the federal government allots to the religous bodies in America.

As the motion hearing relates to the legal documents posted here, I am repeating my response here.
DD is no expert on legal matters; but, does not think it is accurate to say that “she survived the motion hearing this morning” or that “a lawyer called Tim Gleason defended her.”
The lawyer who was at the hearing, sort of, on MECC’s behalf said that he or his firm had been contacted by MECC on Friday, but the firm had not been engaged yet, so he could not argue her case.
The lawyer from the law firm of Gardiner Roberts LLC acting for the plaintiff, Ridgemount, argued that, as interest is accruing at $710.00 per day, there is some urgency to grant possession of the mortgaged property, 4803 50 Yorkville, to Ridgemount so the property may be sold; and with a first mortgage of $4,000.000.00 ahead of the Ridgemount mortgage, the equity in the mortgaged property is eroding quickly.
The Judge ordered that the parties reappear next Monday, to set a date to hear the plaintiff’s motion.
DD will leave it up to Mockingbird or his buddy to sit in at the hearing next Monday to let us know the outcome of that hearing.

A title search of 4803 50 Yorkville, legal description Unit 3, Level 26, Toronto Standard Condominium Plan No. 2282 and its appurtenant interest, records that:
It was transferred from Bay-Yorkville Developments Limited to Cowan, Marie Elizabeth Clare on 2013/05/17 for $6,524,245.
Also on 2013/05/17 a charge (mortgage) for $4,000.000 was registered in favour of Home Trust Company.
On 2014/11/27 a charge (mortgage) for $1,500.000 was registered to RIDGEMOUNT FS LTD.
There are no other mortgages or liens registered on the property.
The property was listed for sale on a contract dated January 28, 2015, for CDN$6,988,000, with an expiry date of June 15, 2015.
The property was re-listed for sale on a contract dated July 3, 2015, for CDN$6,800,000, with an expiry date of December 15, 2015, Toronto Real Estate Board # C3250784
That it is still listed for sale over two months later suggests the reduced listing price is still too high.
That the $1,500,000 second mortgage is in arrears and the debt is now about $1,600.000, suggests that the $4,000.000 first may also be in arrears and accruing interest and that debt could exceed the $4,000,000 face amount.
If the real market value at which it sells is $6,000.000, there is no equity for MECC after the mortgages and real estate fees are paid.

What is “interesting” is that as a black man, in many a place in Canada, you notice if there are other black people.
While he does not definitively state that there were not other black people, he does state that there were alot of white people.
It would appear that he did a sort of mental count occasioned surely by the garb of those present and is of the opinion that they were mostly lawyers (bibs/wigs etc)
Now, if one were to extrapolate a Venn diagram from his logic, he imputes that those present were white and lawyers.
Which would suggest that (i) the information that DD possesses comes from a FOI document that is “real-time” or (ii) a person who was present who provided the information which one is made to understand was what happened
Now there are two things to be noted here arising from Alvin Cummins CAPITALIZED COMMENTS AND TELEGRAPHED ACTIONS.
Common elements or areas of overlap that are “unknowns” are whether there were (a) black or white persons there who were not luminaries or (b) a Real time FOI system that made the information available as it happened

Some years ago, when de ole man was young and spritely, I found myself in a delicate situation where I had a choice of keeping quiet or disclosing the matter.

On Friday September 4, 2015, ccowan@cahill-energy.com was asked by brian@ipstoronto.ca for a convenient to serve the Statement of Claim.
On Tuesday September 8, 2015, bskolnik@grllp.com confirmed to ccowan@cahill-energy.com that the matter had been scheduled for Civil Practices Court for September 14, 2015, at 9:00a.m.
What confuse me is, why would the defendant have arranged for a lawyer to appear on the defendant’s behalf if the Statement of Claim had not yet been served on the defendant?
Did the defendant arrange for the lawyer to attend after reading the Statement of Claim and the emails posted on BU on September 12, 2015?
