First let me tell you that I do not have any bone with Alvin Cummins. I do not know the man nor do I want too. I just do not like pretenders and arrogant pricks who do things for self-aggrandizement. I have no respect whatsoever for him and his pretense. He defends a bunch of shite for the DLP even when it is clear that something is drastically wrong with the way these DLP rats are conducting the people’s business . The only person who knows I gave the Defence Lawyer my card was the Lawyer for Ridgemount, because he and the defence lawyer were the only two persons there, talking to each other.
I know there were only white persons present because Black people stand out among white people, and as I said, I was the ONLY BLACK PERSON PRESENT when the defence lawyer and the Lawyer for the plaintiff approached the bench. I was in the room,and I exited the same time as they did, and approached them as they stood in a corner conversing.
I will give my reasons for being present later, I will leave you to speculate, but I will say this; I LOVE MY COUNTRY AND MY PEOPLE, and whenever a number of white people take such interest in my country I become very suspicious, and also get very angry at some of their shenanigans.

The logical reasons; hinted at by Hants, is to besmirch the character of Claire Cowan, by publishing as much negativity about her as possible, to poison the Barbadian public toward her, the project, and her association with the government. Who stands to benefit from this? The Opposition Party, and certain “interests” who want to corner the market in Waste Disposal, recycling etc in Barbados.
Who are the Major Players in this? 1. The Future Centre Trust and its backers; known and unknown.2 S.B.R.C. 3. Other entities who are working to displace B’s Recycling. 4. White people in Barbados and overseas, because there is lots of money in
Waste Disposal and recycling. When BU report4ed the number of “white people” who attended that Town Hall Meeting it heightened my suspicions.I knew, instinctively that something was up. White people in Barbados DO NOT ATTEND ANYTHING, unless it is to their benefit. White people in Barbados do NOT attend ANYTHING in their numbers apart from Motor sports, or the Pantomime at St. Winifred’s school. White people in Barbados do not participate in anything.They showed this from as far back as 1966 when they “migrated to Australia and New Zealand” in their numbers, to get as far away from the island as was possible; taking their money with them; money gained from the sweat and blood of blacks.

I was not (one of the seemingly few) black people there, I was the ONLy Black person there in the court room (I actually got in late and no one came in after me; David’s source can verify this. Which foreign investors would commit in excess of $500 million to a WTE plant in a country with junk bond status, no tradable (exportable) commodities and a declining economy with its remaining forex earning cylinders about to crap out?

It was just another means of bilking the already overburdened taxpayers and providing kickbacks to politicians by way of invoices for consultancy fees and other phantom charges payable to con artists. Same thing applied to the Pierhead marina project, Sugar Point Cruise Ship terminal project, Four Seasons restart and ,in the pipeline, a “modern” factory for a dead sugarcane industry.

There is nothing wrong! Didn’t I point out above the objective of the forces combining to stop the Cahill project? What we have here are attempts to by-pass the laws of the island/ Typical of a lot of people who are against this government, and also forces who want to get into this lucrative business. Mangrove was chosen many hers ago because of a numere of things that mitigated against putting a landfill anywhere else. Who owns the Lears area? Why would they want to separate garbage in that area when there is a waste separation plant (SBRC) already active? Why would they want to put a waste separation plant so close to the villages in such close proximity to the proposed dump there? Folks on BU have to be aware of the extent to which the competing powers are willing to go to try to defeat this government.

De ole man left off “de quotation marks that were to have surrounded the purported reported speech (of Alvin Cummins) and text that was attributed to him under “the euphemism”.
I was “engaging” with AC because I too do not believe that he will come back here and report ESPECIALLY if as you suggest that the condo has been assigned to the mortgagor Ridgemount.
All that is needed to further show the real standing of Cowan and her obvious financial woes is a copy of the court order saying such and her “colleagues” here will not be too happy with the ensuing cyberspace conversations and general ambience such will create
Sometimes when do ole man am writing I sometimes get time to go back to make sure that I have been clear.
The problem is that when (a) one takes a long time to write one’s submission (b) and one is an octogenarian without time on one’s hands and given that (c) one suffers with Attention Deficit Disorder you don’t really feel inclined to do all of that smile.
