The problem of the twentieth century is the problem of the color lineW.E.B. DuBois

Today the Black man still bears the Cross of Jesus Christ as Simon of Cyrene did on that most fateful day in earth’s history. As those Caucasoid Roman soldiers whipped, beat, insulted and spat upon my Lord and as those who called themselves Abraham’s children (Jews) and are not (crying vociferously, “let his blood be upon us and our children”) – but are of the Synagogue of SATAN* heckled, cajoled, laughed, maligned, jeered and scoffed as Jesus wobbled, stumbled and fell under the weight of the cross. Simon (the 13th Disciple) bore His burden up the hill.

And so upon the back of the Black man fell that cross of shame – a symbolic, archetypal reminder to Black folks everywhere throughout the ages that upon their shoulders rest the long arduous process of salvation for humanity. What Simon of Cyrene accomplished in the flesh for our beloved Lord and Saviour – we as the progenitors of that fulfilment would have to carry for mankind right down until the end of time.

Yet many still ask, but are not Black folks “the least in their Father’s house”?

What constitutes greatness can largely be a matter of opinion. Jesus reminds us that the least is oftentimes the greatest amongst us and MUST* be a “servant” to all – and the “first” will be the “last” and the “last” will be the “first”.

Do we consider a man’s greatness in part due to the degree to which his life and actions affect humanity for generations?

Had Napoleon been forced to stay on the island of Corsica – would the seeds of his destiny as Emperor become historical evident or would he not have become one of those flowers born to bloom” remaining unseen and waste in the sweetness of the desert air?

As the subject of this discourse implies, many have bought into the “lies” of history regarding the greatest group of people God created on planet earth. Though disobedient on every level (and now “last”) – they have remained unparalleled as a force of nature especially when history is given the true resonance it deserves. Blacks began civilization and they will end it!

Post-deluvian history in Genesis 10:6–20 paints an account of the dispersal of the nations within the Mesopotamian Valley of IRAQ*. This geographical area known as the cradle of civilization from which emerged the world’s first known Black King (NIMROD) – the most powerful Black man that ever lived (after the Flood), who according to Scripture was “a mighty hunter before God” and someone who ruled from the stratospheric heights of the Tower of Babel. Historical accounts presuppose that no physical human structure like it exist today on the earth. Even with the Burj Khalifa which stands at [2,716.5FT] in downtown Dubai – it remains as an insignificant structure compared to the Tower of Babel.

In Genesis 11:6, God saw that the intent of the people’s heart was based on such solid “UNITY” that they would have literally built a stairway into the heavens. The story of Babel is truly profound because the Black man still struggles unlike any other race with this issue of “unity”. We all seem to speak a different language – often from a position of defence. Our focus is too tribal; too linguistic; too individualistic. Our focus like the kingdom of Nimrod is on building material edifices without any real tailored, spiritual accountability. As the Bible remind us – “Unless the LORD GOD* builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD GOD* watch the city in the night, in vain do the watchmen keep vigil.”

The post-exodus of mankind from the kingdom of Nimrod, resulting in Ham taking his son Mizraim and went off to Africa. Mizraim whose name is Egypt became the land from which Jacob’s family of [70] plus Joseph who was already Prince of Egypt, his wife Asenath, (the daughter of an African priest) and their [2] sons would call home for the next 430 years. Of the [70] who entered Egypt (this powerful Black nation) according to Scripture only (4) of them were female, (Asher’s granddaughter, Jacob’s daughter Dinah who had been raped, Leah & Zilpah).

For all the religious BIGOTS* who do not possess a shred of intellectual, far less spiritual honesty, it would be nigh impossible for them to acknowledge that the JEWISH* people began as a “RACE” of people (WHO DUE TO INTERMARRIAGE) were Black or for ethnological correctness – biracial where [66] men and [4] Israelite females were meant to keep the bloodline Semitic.

By the time God had decided to deliver the Israelites out of African bondage – a new despotic Pharaoh had emerged to wage ethnic genocide because of the population statistics in Goshen, Egypt. A new “hybrid” specie of Black folks had morphed into the landscape threatening to become a majority.

On the scene of action was another prince of Egypt (a Hebrew), Moses who had grown up in Pharaoh’s house. He was to be the deliverer of this people after spending some [40] years in Jethro’s house (a Black Midianite high priest) who knew of the true worship of YAHWEH long before even the children of Israel had been given a single commandment from God.

Scripture reminds us also that Moses’ Black Ethiopian wife Zipporah was at the center of ethnic, racial strife between Moses’ sister Miriam and others (due in no part to jealousy and stupidity) and would have suffered the retributive justice of a NO-NONSENSE God had Moses not arbitrarily intervened.

Right through the historical document of Old Testament Scripture, is peppered and laced with references, scenes, acts, stories and prominent roles by powerful Black men and women who altered the course of human history and destiny. This discourse is limited in its citations of what can be accredited to God’s original people but the proof is in the pudding. Taste and see that the Lord is good!

As a result of the flawed thinking and the misconceptualization of Scripture – we sadly arrived at medieval pre-Renaissance history – where the pendulum of time has swung decisively and indiscriminately towards those who would rule the world based on Daniel Chapter 3.

By the time Greece and Rome arrived on the world scene, Caucasoid people were in the ascendancy and set out to concoct a damnable lie* of historic proportions. This damnable heresy is then used as fuel and fodder for the next millennium to brainwash and indoctrinate the world into believing that the Black man had no major place, part or role in the Biblical historical narrative (and if so, to a diminished extent) but most importantly, that the descendants of Ham were a “cursed people” – a ploy to upstage and steal the most important vestiges of Black history.

Caucasian ministers, anthropologists, social historians, eugenicists and others throughout the Reformation period of the 16th century taught that the Black man was cursed based on the pronouncement in Genesis 9:24-25.

The Church spearheading this diabolical lie, gave sanction to the capitalists “rift-raft”, dodgy speculators and amoral profiteers to embark on a 400 year-old quest to squeeze every last drop of blood out of the soul of the Black man because as Scripture had said – “a slave shall he be to others”.

The conundrum of Scripture however for many so-called intellectual Biblical scholars is that Ham was not cursed (the “one” who saw his father’s nakedness) but Noah’s grandson Canaan – and many still ask why? Those who think they are so enlightened can provide a meaningful answer as to why this occurred.

Today, the modern Judeo-Christian construct is actually a matrix of disavowal of basic historical factors, [premises] and conclusions. According to Dr. Walter Arthur McCray in his book – “The Black Presence in the Bible: Discovering THE BLACK and African Identity of Biblical persons and nations, he argues that “one of the more enlightening aspects of the study of the Black presence in the Bible has to do with the ethnological make-up of the Old Covenant community. Here we are speaking of the Blackness, whether implicit or explicit, of the Hebrew-Israelite-Judahite-Jewish people spanning the centuries from Abraham, the father of the Hebrew people with whom God entered into Covenant, down to Jesus Christ Himself, the Promised Messiah of God.” (p.122)

McCray further opines that “it is indeed possible for us to demonstrate [1] the Blackness of the Covenant-Messianic community; [2] the Blackness of the Messianic genealogical line; and [3] the Blackness of the Messiah Himself, Christ Jesus The Lord.” (Ibid)

The problem is – unravelling centuries of false indoctrination, brain (white) washing, lies and misinformation will be a mammoth task given the entrenched nature of our belief system but work we must to destroy the last barriers of resistance.

In conclusion, the New Testament like the OT is also peppered with historical accounts of Black privilege, involvement and control. Dr. John S. Mbiti, in his book “African Religions and Philosophy” argues that “the conversion of the Ethiopian eunuch (Black Queen Candace’s Treasurer) described in the Acts of the Apostles predates Paul’s 1st missionary journey into Europe by several years. There is clear, historical documentation of the BLACK church in Africa by the 3rd century. Christianity was the dominant religion in North Africa and most notably Egypt. Egyptian and North African scholars such as Clement, Origen, Tertullian, and Athanasius are widely recognized as fathers of the church. One of the most undeniable instances was Lucius of Cyrene who with his comrade in Antioch, Simeon, who was called Niger – Niger simply means “Black.”

He contends that “by the year 300, Egypt had more than a million Christians. In the 6th century, Christianity spread to the Nubian Kingdoms, soon becoming the dominant religion. The Christian Nubian Kingdoms survived for 700 years, resisting attempted domination by Muslim conquerors for 600 of those years. The Egyptian Coptic Church in the Sudan and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church still exist today. Though persecuted, their presence is testimony to the historicity of Christianity in Africa.”

  1. @David,
You should start a separate blog for the highly educated like TB and GP.
This TB stuff is too deep for me.

  2. @Hants

TB has his following and detractors too, LOL.

Will post something for us slow folk later.

  3. Hants
I beg you Dont include me in ANYTHING with TB! Thank you.

Permit me to debunk the first couple of paragraphs of the utter rubbish written by the bar raiser.
Re Today the Black man still bears the Cross of Jesus Christ as Simon of Cyrene did on that most fateful day in earth’s history. This is utter RUBBISH!
Re Simon (the 13th Disciple) bore His burden up the hill.
Huh”? By whose calculation? Who elected him or appointed him? Then who was Matthias?
Re And so upon the back of the Black man fell that cross of shame – a symbolic, archetypal reminder to Black folks everywhere throughout the ages that upon their shoulders rest the long arduous process of salvation for humanity.
Did the black man die on the cross fool! Did Simon of Cyrene die on the cross or do Christ a favor, or the Romans , who simply just wanted to get on with their job that day? Do you think that Christ could not have carried his cross. Do you understand that by the time Christ got onto the Via Dolorosa that he should have long been dead according to Physiology and Pathology? Do you understand that by the time Christ got onto the Via Dolorosa that he had the compensatory physiological mechanisms he Himself designed in play? Go meditate on John 10:16.
Re What Simon of Cyrene accomplished in the flesh for our beloved Lord and Saviour – we as the progenitors of that fulfilment would have to carry for mankind right down until the end of time.
What bovine excrement! How do we become the progenitors of anything on the basis of Simon’s service. What fulfillment is this twit talking about. Salvation for humanity has NEVER rested on Simon’s shoulders or the black man’s. Scriptures like 1 Peter 1:18, I Peter 3:24, John 3:14-36 John 5:34 etc make it SALVATION RESTS SOLELY ON CHRIST’s SHOULDERS ! Romans 5 makes it clear that there are only TWO FEDERAL HEADS ADAM & CHRIST!
Re Yet many still ask, but are not Black folks “the least in their Father’s house”?
    Define Father’s house?
Is this the same Father’s house of which Jesus spoke in John 14?
If so where does it say that Black folks are “the least in their Father’s house”?
If so does not this rek=esque moron contradict himself later in his article. Where the Church Fathers in the early North African Church Black folks “the least in their Father’s house”too ?

  5. GP you bowling more hostile than Tino Best. That was a nasty Beamer you bowl.
Man lick down. Call de newrosurjun.

  6. GP wah is dah yuh sih. You got TB? man uh sorry to hear. You is a Docta doh so you cuh treat yuhself.

  7. @ GP
Can you please enlighten me as to where you think this man TMB would have received his info? In all my years I have never heard such a perspective being put forward by anyone who is familiar with the teachings of the New Testament.

  8. @de hood

Would it not be more appropriate to ask TB?

We all know that Doc GP is not reading/interpreting from the same bible as TB and therefore the two are unable to come to a Christian understanding on the issues.

  9. David
You are talking as much concentrated rubbish as TB , with all respect
Note the man’s references? Note the church Father’s to whom he alludes. Dont make excuses for the man’s obvious nonsense. I have only referred to a small portion of his silly article It is not coherent, it does not flow sensibly, or come to a logical conclusion, and his theology is flawed regardless to which version of the Bible he is quoting.

The reason we can not agree is because he is not rightly dividing the Word of Truth and he is clearly reading into the text information that is not there.

Read the NT and tell me if a 13th disciple is mentioned amywhere This is not a cricket team.
Read Romans and see who are the Federal Heads

    6. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

    7. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

    8. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

    9. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

    10. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

    11. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

    12. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 13. (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

    14. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

    15. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

    16. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

    17. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) 18. Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

    19. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

  10. @GP

BU always* keeps an open mind. Let us wait and see how TB responds.

  11. So if TB responds with junk what does it mean? That it is not junk? Can you not read the NT for your self. Can you can not discern and decipher what is written in Romans 5.

Is Simons name mentioned. What does the NT have to do with BLACKS. Does it not say in Galatiians that all are one

Can you not read for your self like the Bereans

Note The Black man DOES NOT BEAR THE CROSS OF
There is NO 13th disciple and never was!
The cross of shame did not fall on any black man JESUS DIED ON THE CROSDS OF SHAME. THIS FACT IS OFT PREDICTED IN THE OT AND OFT DECLARED IN THE NT

The cross is, and has never been an symbolic, archetypal reminder to Black folks everywhere throughout the ages that upon their shoulders rest the long arduous process of salvation for humanity.

Nowhere in Scripture does it say that salvation is an ardous task for humanity , or that salvation rests on the shoulders of the black man. NONE of the Greek words in the NT are used to translate this rubbish NONE!

Simon was clearly a tool of the Roman centurion with a job to do who THOUGHT that Jesus was a weakling.

    I repeat
Do you think that Christ could not have carried his cross. Do you understand that by the time Christ got onto the Via Dolorosa that he should have long been dead according to Physiology and Pathology? Do you understand that by the time Christ got onto the Via Dolorosa that he had the compensatory physiological mechanisms he Himself designed in play? Go meditate on John 10:16.

Go ask any Physiologist or Pathologist to explain the above if you don believe me
JESUS SAID NO ONE COULD TAKE HIS LIFE FROM HIM AND THAT HE WOULD LAY IT DOWN HIMSELF.

I ask again for readers with a brain to tell How do we become the progenitors of anything on the basis of Simon’s service.

So then does the book of Revelation say that there will be a divide between black and white believers at the glassy sea.
Or does 1 Peter 1 say that the inheritance of black believers is different for blacks and whites also?

Can you please enlighten me as to where you think this man TMB would have received his info? In all my years I have never heard such a perspective being put forward by anyone who is familiar with the teachings of the New Testament.
    ==============================
I can not tell you where he got his information. I know that this man has the spirit of antichrist. He is ANTI both against and also offering another Christ.

But if you have read the relevant areas of the NT it ought to be clear that the few paragraphs of his diarhoea that I have debunked does not accord with the teachings of the NT at all. Even a fool can see this.

  13. De Hood
You are dealing with a man who says he is a Theologian, but his articles scarely contain Scripture and when they do they are out of wack and easily debunked as I did a few months ago on his goo about the Sons of Abraham.

That he is black is clear. Everything he touches and talks about is BLACK BLACK BLACK. Can he change any thing ? Are blacks interested in change or talk? He says he is Christian , he says he is Muslim He does not know who or what he is.

He says he is an author hut his articles do not flow. Paragraphs are disjointed and do not come to a logical conclusion. Of course he has a following with those of his ilk who see through dark shades rather than looking at policies or principles.

At no time have I seen any viable feasible plan for ameliorating the lot of blacks. Who care that Nimrod was black? Or that he ruled from an unfinished zigurat? How is he helping blacks today. How does the influence of the Black North African church for 700 years affect the price of cheese today?

If he wants to present Bkack History do so BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO CONTAMINATE IT WITH POOR INTERPRETATION OF VERY BASIC WELL KNOWN AND UNDERSTOOD TEXTS ABOUT THE PASSION OF CHRIST.

  14. Haunts,
It’s not that it’s “too high for you”, it’s just long-winded.
These types of essays usually carry truth and error.
The more concise an article, the easier to follow and decipher.
One cannot follow this article easily -if at all.

  15. @John Walcott.

The first sentence “Today the Black man still bears the Cross of Jesus Christ” is illogical. The rest of the article is convoluted crap.

However GP took the time to “put it through the credibility shredder.”

We need to move on to more important things like tiefin Lawyers and the MiaOwen doom and gloom prognostications.
See? I cuh use big words too.

  16. “The problem of the twentieth century is the problem of the color line… – W.E.B. DuBois”

The problem with people like you is that you fail to realise that we now live in the 21st century. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery man.

  17. I would like to hear my man ah business Anonymous take on this topic.

  18. The system has evolved from discriminating against blacks and minorities to treating every body with contempt. We are all treated like criminals now.. hence the rise in ‘us versus them’ sentiments around the world.

  19. For the benefit of sincere seekers< I will post CHAPTER FOUR of PROMISES IN THE PREPATRIARCHAL ERA-Part 4- CONFUSION OF TONGUES (Genesis 9-11). From my D Min Thesis on the period in which the evil Nimrod was around. Iyt is to be noted that he was a hunter of men, just like his father, the devil.

This period which covers at least several hundred years is described in Genesis 8:20-11:9. Man is under the dispensation of Human Government which begun in Genesis 9, and the covenant of Noah. The major events in this period are leaving the ark, the origin of the rainbow, the tower of Babel, the confusion of tongues, the scattering of the people to begin the nations. These events explain the rainbow, that God keeps his promises, the fact of different languages and nations. This period contributes most to the interpretation of the New Testament, with respect to the issue of the speaking in tongues in Acts.

Although the Flood had eradicated multitudes of sinful people, it certainly had not eradicated the sin nature or the desire to disobey God, in the hearts of the offspring of those who survived its terrors. This generation whom the Bible refers to as ‘all the families of the earth’, and ‘the families of Noah’ consisted of those in the list of nations in Genesis 10. Under the leadership of Ham’s grandson, Nimrod, they sought to organize and preserve their unity around an architectural symbol and via a religious building program on the plains of Shinar in Babylon (Genesis 11:1-4)

Despite the clear command given in Genesis 9:1 and Genesis 11:4 to be scattered abroad on the face of the whole earth’, and to multiply and replenish the earth the population spread southeastward from the Ararat region until they reached a "plain in Shinar" (Babylonia). They decided to settle down there, contrary to the prescribed instructions of God, and in blatant disobedience to and defiance of God’s command to populate the whole earth. Their response to the blessings of God in allowing them to multiply (Genesis 11:10-32) and to fill the earth with the 70 nations described in Genesis 10:1-32, was the intent to preserve a name or reputation for themselves, apart from God’s influence. Their aim was to glorify and fortify themselves and to prevent the will of God from being fulfilled in the dispersion of the races. The thoughts of their hearts were diverted from the glory of God and his provision in much the same way as their prediluvian predecessors. Romans 1:19-23 is perhaps the best New Testament description of their behavior (Genesis 11:5-9). They thus decided to launch the construction of a city and a massive astrological tower in lower Mesopotamia. Since at that time "all the inhabitants of the earth had the same language and, communication among the people being thus facilitated, was swift, and plans for the building project were easily propagated.

  20. CONFUSION OF TONGUES part 2

“The sin of the builders was at least twofold. In their pride they wanted to make for themselves a name. Thus they spared no effort to erect a structure so colossal that it would bring great glory to themselves. But their major concern was that they might have a rallying point in order to avoid being scattered over the face of the whole earth” in direct disobedience to God’s specific command to “be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth” (Genesis. 9:1), they tried to avoid being scattered abroad. They sought a cohesive element of their own making, instead of rallying around
God. Stigers concludes that in making a name for themselves, they also sought to create a worldwide imperialistic power, which would facilitate the advance of evil designs as the influence for good declined on the earth.” (49)

”The tower was an attempt to build something to be a rallying point for man against God. The tower of Babel was rebellion against Almighty God. The tower was a center of unity, a sort of headquarters, as it were. It was a capital, a place to assemble, a place to look to. Babel fulfilled one of man’s requirements to carry out his dream of a world empire. The tower was a psychological rallying point. A place to give motive, inspiration, and a spark of enthusiasm in the defiance and rebellion against God. It was the place of boundless ambition. It was the beginning of idolatry and of false religions.

The tower was not a place for man to go to in time of high water, as some opine. He wasn’t building above the flood stage. The tower revealed the arrogant, defiant, rebellious attitude of man against God. God had said to man that he should scatter over the earth and replenish the earth. But man answered, ” We’re not going to scatter; we are going to get together. We are through with You.” The tower of Babel was built to show that man was against God. The tower was actually more than just a symbol. It had religious meaning. A ziggurat was the place where they worshipped the creature rather than the Creator. They worshipped the sun, moon, and stars. They were solid in construction, some were round and some were square, and they all had an outside staircase and a shrine at the top where they worshipped. Perhaps they chose the sun, moon, and stars because when they were visible, there would be no flood.” (50)

  21. CONFUSION OF TONGUES part 3
The truth of 2 Peter 3:9 is readily seen in God’s response to the crisis of man’s arrogance and the open revolt of the people of the post-flood period. God’s response after much patience and longsuffering was the usual, that of grace. He kept his promise made to Noah; not to again destroy the world. Nevertheless He instituted a universal judgment on these rebels by diverting these evil people from further compounding their sin, by confusing their once universal language into several dialects. Thus it was that God punished their evil designs and separated mankind into ethnic groups thereby compelling them to scatter to all parts of the globe, as was his original purpose.

The phrase “And God came down” in Genesis 9:7 indicates that God intervened, and interfered in judgment and mercy to stop what men were building. God observed that this was just the start of man’s defiance, and that the judgment of the flood had not really changed men’s hearts or affected their depravity and rebellion against Him. He realized that if they should succeed in this venture, they would be come “swell headed” and be encouraged to try almost anything. God knew too, that the success of their efforts revolved around the unity of their language, and the facility of their communication, which meant that they could pool their ingenuity So after consultation among the persons of the triune Godhead, it was decided that the obvious and most practical course of action was to create a barrier to communication in order to disrupt their ability to continue unified activity. The words “Let us go down” indicates plurality in the Godhead and supports the concept of trinity.

The Bible states clearly in Genesis 11:7-9 that the LORD “confused their language”, and thus put an abrupt end to further construction. It is important to see that God acted in grace by setting up a protective wall for man’s benefit. If men all spoke the same language, they would all come together against God-and lose! So God put up the language barrier for his own protection. Now that the rebels were unable to communicate, they were forced to drift off in little groups to all points of the compass, thus achieving the filling of the earth that God had originally ordered in His specific command to “be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth” (Genesis 9:1). As the people scattered, work on the tower and city were no longer feasible, as the language barrier that God devised proved to been a most effective method of separating and dividing people.

When God confused the single language, and scattered the defiant sinners at Babel, He prevented men from devising greater corporate mischief and thus injuring themselves further. This action was not only an act of judgment and punishment, but one of mercy and redemption, because instead of destroying them summarily God gave them as it were another chance for repentance in keeping with his attribute of longsuffering as enunciated in 2 Peter 3:9. This incident confounds the logic of those who try to say that languages developed gradually, God says that He confounded the single language of the people at Babel, so that these reprobates couldn’t understand each other, and that he thereby forced them to scatter in every direction in diverse groups on the basis of new languages common to each group. For God’s purposes it was a blessing. For man’s development away from God, it was definitely a judgment. It has certainly been a great hindrance to man.

  22. CONFUSION OF TONGUES part 4
To prove that the origin of languages was directed by God, He chose to temporarily reverse the phenomenon at Babel in the events of the day of Pentecost, when under the influence of the Holy Spirit, people from several nations who spoke different languages were able to hear the Word of God in their own language. On the day of Pentecost, “God broke through the sound barrier which He had put up at Babel when He had confused the language. Now the Gospel is to go out to all people. Pentecost is a blessing. Babel was a judgment. At Pentecost 3,000 were saved and made one in Christ. At Babel men were scattered and there became tribes and tongues, peoples and nations. There was made one body at Pentecost. There were many divergent peoples at Babel…. Today the Bible has gone out in more languages than any other book. It is still being translated into tongues and dialects, and is being brought to literally hundreds of tribes throughout the world. The Gospel is for all mankind and the reason and the purpose for talking in tongues is to let the human race know that God has answered the tower of Babel….. The Gospel is for you, whoever you are and whatever tongue you speak.. It’s for the nations of the world. We are told in the book of Revelation that “After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindred, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands (Revelation 7:9). How different this will be from the tower of Babel! ” (50)

The Biblical account of Genesis 11 explains why and how the different people of the world speak different languages. This was the result of another universal judgment by God. It is important to understand why people speak in different languages to appreciate the miracle of tongues that occurred at Pentecost, as described in Acts 2:1-11.

At the miracle of tongues, we note in Acts 2:7 and 12 the phrase “they were all amazed.” The first amazement was that men from sixteen places and speaking sixteen different languages, each heard the message of the gospel in his own tongue (Acts 2:7-8). The second cause of amazement was that the gospel, or “wonderful works of God,” was being preached to Jews in Gentile languages. They said “We hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God. So they were all amazed and perplexed (Acts 2:11) ”.

It must be realized that it was the message that was given in the tongues that caused the amazement rather than the tongues itself. It is noteworthy that as always when the gospel message is given, they are those who will not heed, and rather than making their decisions a private one, think that they must reveal their carnality by mocking and scoffing. Thus they were those that day that suggested that the disciples were “full of new wine.” Whereas some heard the message of the “wonderful works of God,” and heeded it, others heard only babbling. This alerts us to the fact that the miracle of the presentation of the gospel is one more on the ear, and heart of the listener than on the tongue of the speaker.

In Acts 2:14-20, we find Peter’s inspired interpretation, which is full of instruction, especially for us in our discussion concerning the “seed to whom the promise was made.” Peter was able to teach his audience that the “pouring out of the Spirit” that they had witnessed was a partial fulfillment of Joel 2:28-32, as well as the fulfillment of the predictions of several of the other prophets concerning the inauguration of the New Covenant age. Peter told his hearers that the events they were witnessing were the positive proofs that the New Covenant Age had come. What is exciting here is that in a few verses Peter relates Genesis 11, Joel 2:28-32, Zephaniah 3:9 in his message recorded in Acts. The true significance of Peter’s sermon in Acts requires an understanding of all these Old Testament scriptures for its full appreciation and enjoyment.

  23. GP, is right on with his appraisal of TB, and GP’s subsequent post from God’s Word, coherently puts to shame the illogical diatribe, sterile intellectualism and utterly paralyzed orthodoxy that TB writes.

When one starts off WRONG, as TB’s twisted, convoluted, unscriptual bias IS, against the Jews, plus his foolish insistence on this BLACKNESS folly, no wonder he cannot make any sense of the vast Biblical and historic evidence, right up to this very day; but, then again, such is the mind-set of adherents to the cultic doctrine of his denomination, the SDA, who blatantly deny the absolute overwhelming prophetic PICTURE in God’s Word, re the Jews and their rightful place and ownership to the LAND of “ISRAEL” fulfilled and ratified in 1948, and currently playing out with this FARCE of so-called peace talkes, all part and parcel of the End-Time scenario, building up to the final battle, not too far around the corner!

Perhaps you can tell the forum who Nimrod really was. He might have been black- but he was certainly also very evil too. I can not see how any honest sane black man who knows who Nimrod really was would want to boast of an association with him
Nimrod was the forrunner of the type of black man who hunted and caught other black men and delivered them to thier colonial masters for valueless trinkets during the slave trade.

Whereas there were blacks in the early church in North Africa, it is also true that there were great OT scholars who were Jews who studied and had thier great library and college at Alexandria. Apollos mentioned in Acts 18 came out of this company.
The purpose of study is to sift the facts from the volumes on reads and then communicate it correctly coherently and simply. Not with long stupid emotive titles followed by diabolical diarrhoeal drivel!

  26. When we study the Bible we must put the emphasis where God puts it. We must see the ESSNTIALS rather than the incidentals.
In Genesis 11 the big issues is that God initiated languages because the evil reprobates of the day disobeyed him. God did not want globalization.
In the near future, however, (and it has already begun) God will use men’s thirst for amalgamation, and unrealistic cohesion to usher in the New World Government , which will be ruled by antichrist for a shoert time before his demise

Glopbalization has been happening before our very eyes, especially in the last two decades or so, but few men are able to discern its significance.

The teaching of English as a foreign language is big big business today, and so is the teaching of Spanish. This is because these two languages are those spoken my themajority of the people of the world.

  27. @ Zoe
Now, Sir, this is the kind of treatise that I am able to read and decipher It is when you get to the point (in the trenches?) of taking an attitude of being “holier than thou” that turns me off (and perhaps a lot of other folk too). As long as you can keep the discourse on this level I am prepared to entertain (not that I accept them) your ideas but that way you have of “looking down and preaching at” folk is a bit offensive to me (& some others perhaps?). So keep it at this level and I am prepared to listen to you and the points you put forward, the same way that I have read and pondered Doc GP’s discourses although, as I will add, he and I still differ on a lot of points but are prepared to discuss our differences. Ah Lie, Doc?

Man Zoe is Zoe and his Theology is in the top drawer. He has clearly read proper literature and is capable of skimming of the dross as all top class scholars ought to be able to do.

Its fairly simple. I have read very little on 1 & 2 Chronicles that does not include Sailhamer in the Bibliography. I have read very little on the Minor prophets that does not include Tatford or Feinberg in the bibliography. I have read very little on Eschatology that does not have Dwight Pentecost in the bibliography.

So it is in every major subject. Zoe owns or has obviously read the books that are accepted so when he speaks he has the right to pontificate especially when dealing with unlerned morons who are uneducable or incorrigible. You may not like his tone, but I suspect that if you or I met him you will find that he is not as arrogant as might come over. For sure his great knowledge must make him understand that he is a sinner. Such knowledge humbles a man BEFORE GOD.

WE DONT NEED TO HUMBLE OUR SELVES BEFORE MEN OR THE BU HERD. WE NOT BEGGING THEM FOR NUTTIN. LOL

I am sure you can understand this.

Now if you are a seed picker (better translation of the Greek word translated babbler in Acts) like the Bar Raiser and trying to impress you have to present lengthy diatribe that only you can decipher. or a lot of videos by people that you consider but whose names dont appear in the literature in Theological circles.

    Hope this makes sense.
Most Theological squabbles are about DOGMA, rather than doctrine;….. although dogma is a consequence of misinterpreted doctrine. If folk would try to tease out and test thier dogma against what the text says, there would be fewer squabbles.

Now this moron who started this thread must know that the rubbish I debunked is just that RUBBISH. 13th man an all! LOL.

    k_
