I must agree with all the comments you have made I am a regular visitor to Bim around 4-5 times a year, but please inform me why you suggest the increase of Chinese people in Barbados has anything to do with erectile enhancers.

It is an increasingly competitive world, and no one want to miss out. We (western society in general) have bought into the idea that how much sex you are having (and how good it is) tells you how successful you are, so natural people try to maximise that experience.

I am not sure how to combat this trend without invoke some draconian religious belief system or trying to make people more self confident and educated, neither of which is easy.

But to the point of the title, I don’t think the sexual aids are causing young men to want to be more promiscuous, but rather it is the contemporary social climate that is creating a demand for the sex aids.

I have to disagree with some of your points. I think the use of enhancers is more a male ego thing than any possible ability or lack thereof to satisfy a woman.

You really gone overboard with this thing. I did not get the impression that Technician was talking about clothing. You obviously have no idea of the amount of Chinese in Barbados that are quietly peddling a lot of small items like balms, balsams, erectiles, etc. on the streets of Barbados?

What can be done is to subject the alternative Chinese and other alternative “remedies” that are available, to chemical analysis by spectroscopy or gas liquid chromatography etc to ascetain the chemicals in the products being used.

Then one can try to ascertain which of the chemicals in any particular preparation affects penile arterial vasodilatation or venous constriction, and which enzymes or other factors are involved in the working of the popular over the counter preparations.

Having this information would allow clinical studies to be done to determine the dosage.

But who will do this? And is it financially practical? Or necessary seing that three well documented designer drugs have been around for a while?

I would venture to say that these things have nothing to do with love making but rather, in majority of the cases one party using the other to self-gratification and personal gain.

Many of our young men are incapable of performing sex to any real standard because many of them are in the poorest of health, physcially and mentally, one only has to use the powers of observation of their lifestyle, they are up late, consume enormous amounts of alcohol and other narcotic substances, as well as eat poorly and do not exercise, what else do you expect.

Many of them just not up to the task of having sex, last I checked it was a strenuous act.

Many of our young women also start having sex at an early age with multiple partners and this also weakens them emotionally, physically and are involved with the young men and leads them to want the next man to engage with them longer, harder, rougher, wilder….than the last one.

I don’t think that scenario has anything to do with love but only (as my grandmother would say) having and being had.

I am not indifferent to the fact that both males and females at specific times in their lives will experience illness, disease or even natural occurrences like menopause.
