  1. @ David,

    Hope you watching.

Here watching DARIAN KING representing BARBADOS at the US Open. Leading 3 to 1 in the first set.

The first Barbadian to play in the US Open.

Why do the announcers not have a Barbados fact sheet ?

  2. Yes, king representing!

  3. Well done Darian King.

  4. Looks like WI found the recipe that drives momentum and good sportmanship Brathwaite and Hope so far putting on a brave fight

  5. West Indies with a few wickets falling West indies putting ip a good fight.
These underdogs if they managed one win would have done more than what was expected of them
Keeping my fingers crossed as Hope uses the bajan way of resiliency to win the fight.
Brathwaite once again stood hus ground and made barbados proud.

  6. West Indies win.

    Swwwwweeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!

  7. An amazing victory!

  8. Yeap bring out the champagne after 27 years Windies needed twelve runs to win a test match against England.
Kudos to the live spirit of the team
I must say though the first match was a duck but the come back was oh sooo sweet

  10. Dwayne Smith still got it!

Barbados Tridents beat St Lucia Stars by 29 runs

“Barbados Tridents, propelled by an unbeaten century from Dwayne Smith, “

  11. @ David,

Lewis on pole with a scintillating run in the rain.

Breaks Schumacher’s record for most poles.

  12. @Hants

LH has a good record in wet conditions. Don’t count the Ferrari out at Monza!

  13. Lewis wins at Monza . Smooth as silk.

  14. @Hants

And takes the lead at the home of the prancing horse!

Former jockey Darren Fortune died Friday morning, the result of a training accident at Woodbine.

I am reasonably sure he was a Bajan.

  16. @ NorthernObserver

“BARBADIAN JOCKEY DARREN FORTUNE died doing what he loved doing most.

The 43-year old former Wesley Hall and Alexandra schoolboy succumbed to his injuries after he fell off of a horse that had collided with another at Toronto’s Woodbine Racetrack, yesterday.
He had been living in Canada for about 20 years where he worked as an exercise rider.”

  17. @ David,

Went fishing ( no luck… lol ) and missed the race. Had to watch a rerun.

“Lewis Hamilton drove a masterful race to win the Singapore Grand Prix and take a stranglehold on the title as rival Sebastian Vettel crashed out.”

  18. @Hants

Admit it, he caught a break.

  19. @ David yes he caught a break.

Would have preferred to see him and Vettel racing in the wet conditions.

  20. THE COMEBACK OF COMEBACKS.

    Haydn Lewis wins!

That win gave Barbados the tie 3-2 and a place back in Group 1 of the Americas Zone, where they will get the chance to play against giants Argentina and Brazil.

  21. It was a good win. We hope that it serves as a catylst sparking interest.

  22. @ David,

Doan get ole fellas vex. lol

“Jean, who also bowed out in the first round in the last tournament, rankled his opponent from early with a taunt, asking him if he actually had the heart to turn up for the beating.”

  23. @ David,

    another ole fella. lol

” Gayle run out for 94 off 78…even with an injured hamstring .”

  24. @Hants

Don’t watch WI ODI cricket, we are not good at it.

  25. Complete the following sentence:

    West Indies cricket Is………..

  26. @ David,

I watch cricket online so I can choose what I want to. I prefer T20 and ODI but will watch Test cricket sometimes.

    @ Sargeant,

West Indies cricket is suffering from incompetent management.

  27. Awesome batting. Glad I am watching this match against England.

    Evin Lewis’ career-best 176

    Jason Holder 77

  28. Good day for Patrick Husbands yesterday :

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e2YdngVnNxo

Reasonable day for Hamilton, he didn’t have the pace but found a way.

  29. @ David ,

Patrick seems to be in good form again this year. Not bad for a 44 year old.

Hamilton has been driving with intelligence and seems to have a laser focus on winning the championship.

Hope Mercedes can give him a chance to win. Ferrari will surely be doing all they can for Vettel.

  30. Stevens will run a number of demonstration laps in the JMW Motorsport Ferrari 458 Italia during the day at the Barbados Festival Of Speed,

  31. @Hant!s

    Should be exciting!

  32. David

Its a hard slog to get to the latest post on here…..can you do anything about it?

  33. @ David, hope he has a good race. Vettel on front row.

“Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes staged a dramatic return to form in Suzuka, as the world championship points leader earned his 71st pole position – and his first at the charismatic Japanese track – after a stunning display that left rivals reeling.

  34. @Hants

Yes, Mercedes has the pace back. Dont count out Bottas even if he had to take a 5 grid penalty.

  35. Lewis has to focus on finishing top 3 in the remaining races if he wants to win the championship.

  36. Lewis wins again. Vettel another DNF.

4 races to go. Hope Ferrari can give Vettel a reliable car.

  37. @Hants

It was nip and tuck at the end when LH’s machine became unstable. With his speed it is just a matter of the garage giving him a reliable car for the 4 races. It is over.

Mike Pence Walks Out Of NFL Game Over Kneeling Protest

Vice President Mike Pence walked out of Sunday’s NFL game between the Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers as several 49ers players knelt in protest during a rendition of the national anthem.

“While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I don’t think it’s too much to ask NFL players to respect our Flag and our National Anthem,” Pence wrote on Twitter minutes after leaving the game in Indianapolis, Indiana.

  39. I heard the US is boycotting the World Cup in Russia, the defense couldn’t build a “wall” to stop the Trinis.

Somewhere Jack Warner is having a fit of laugher.

  40. Sweet sweet T & T beat ( the most amazing, wonderful, best ever USA ) lol
