Media Release from Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine

Hamas, Israel

The Barbados based “Caribbean Against Apartheid in Palestine” [CAAP] categorically condemns all attacks on civilians in all conflicts, and in particular the continued and consistent genocide of the Palestinian people over the past 75 years by Zionists.

We express our full support for the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle for liberation of the Palestinian lands and people from the occupying, dehumanizing forces of the fascist Zionist regime of Israel.

For the past 75 years the Palestinian people, men, women, and children, have faced collective punishment, degradation, colonization, apartheid, destruction, and death at the hands of the Zionist state of Israel. In the last few days that collective punishment has increased manifold with imminent total annihilation of the Palestinians of Gaza, aided and abetted by the hypocritical United States of America and its Western Allies. It is just as wrong to bomb civilian targets in Gaza, as it is to bomb civilian targets in Kiev.


What has been witnessed in the last 75 years and what is unfolding now are crimes against humanity, it is genocide. How much more must the Palestinian people endure in the face of relentless oppression and brutality? The Israeli Government has blocked all water, food, energy supplies, and medicines from getting into Gaza. This is Collective Punishment and a Crime Against Humanity.

President Nelson Mandela said, “We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinian people”. We in the Caribbean, having suffered the legacy of the most brutal and inhumane system of slavery and colonialism, know too well the struggle for freedom and need to combat such acts of savagery.

No longer can the world continue to ignore the systematic cycle of destruction perpetrated against the Palestinian people and lands by the fascist Zionist regime of Israel.

Mr. Lalu Hanuman, Lawyer, and Secretary of CAAP in an invited comment said: “Gaza 2023 is today’s Warsaw Ghetto 1943. Just as the brave Jewish people herded into the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 by the fascists, fought back against racist oppression, the Gazan people today, herded into the Gaza Ghetto by the fascist Zionists, are fighting back against racist oppression”.
We call for the immediate halt to the genocide of Palestinians and the end to this violence, bloodshed, and racist oppression.

CAAP will be organizing a “Rally for Palestine” outside the American Embassy in Wildey, on Saturday 21st October 2023, at 3 p.m., subject to Police permission being granted.

    Israel Shows Raw Footage of Hamas Atrocities to Journalists.

    The Israeli government showed foreign journalists a 43-minute compilation of horrific raw footage from Hamas’ massacres in southern Israel, an effort to prevent denials of the atrocities committed on Oct. 7.

    On Monday, 200 members of the foreign press reporting out of Israel were shown the footage including scenes of murder, decapitation, and torture from the terrorist invasion of southern Israel. Some of the footage was collected from Hamas terrorists’ bodycams.

    The Israeli government screened this for the press in an effort to quell “Holocaust-denial-like phenomenon happening in real-time,”

    Keller-Lynn added that after the footage was shown, Major Gen. Mickey Edelstein said that the IDF has evidence of rape, but “cannot share it,” without adding further context.

    A few journalists claimed to have obtained, or at least seen, visual proof (photos or video) of the deaths, though that evidence also was not publicly accessible, nor available to Snopes as of this writing.

    When Snopes reached out to the IDF to comment on the underlying rumor — namely that Israeli babies were beheaded by Hamas — the military did not confirm that the purported beheadings happened. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s spokesperson Tal Heinrich stated to media that babies and toddlers had been found with their “heads decapitated” in Kfar Aza.

    That said, Israeli authorities told other journalists they had not shared photographic evidence of the killings to preserve the privacy of victims and their families. “It’s a dead baby,” an IDF spokesperson said to CNN. “Does it matter if it’s burning or decapitation?”

    Foreign Reporters Burst Into Tears During IDF Screening of Hamas’ Atrocities

    Warning: This article includes graphic descriptions that could be disturbing to some readers.

    Israel on Monday invited 200 foreign journalists to view horrific footage and images from Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on the country, with attending journalists reporting that some colleagues burst into tears as they viewed clips of beheadings, torture, murder, and more.

    Israeli officials said the graphic screening, hosted at a Tel Aviv military base, was necessary to fight against what they claim are lies pushed by Hamas that are akin to a “Holocaust denial-like phenomenon.”

    Recording was not permitted inside the screening, reportedly out of respect for the families of the slain and maimed Israelis captured on camera. A single clip was permitted to leave the base, which appeared to show an Israeli driver and passenger being gunned down by Hamas fighters with rifles.

    That scene ends with a Hamas fighter’s body cam showing two bodies slouched over in the car.

    The Times of Israel reported that the compilation of apparent atrocities totaled 43 minutes.

    The Guardian, an English newspaper, reported that the clips included the killing of children and decapitation of Israelis. The footage was gathered from security cameras, body cameras, vehicle dashboard cameras, social media accounts, and from mobile phones, which “left some reporters in tears.”

    Jotam Confino, a British journalist in attendance, shared a horrifying list of things included in the screening. He described watching clips of an man being beheaded with a shovel, an unarmed father being killed by a grenade as he sheltered with his weeping young sons, and a young girl—aged between 7 to 9—being shot dead.

    In an audio recording played for the press, Confino reported that a Hamas militant called his parents to brag about his killing, saying, “I killed 10 Jews with my own hands. I’m using the dead Jewish woman’s phone to call you now.

    It paints a picture similar to what was described in the lynching of black men in the Southern USA by whites at their regular picnics under the ‘Southern Trees’ trees laden with “Strange (black) Fruits”.

    The world is on the precipice of WW3, a nuclear war.

    We’ve been here.before, many times.

    The Cuban Missile Crisis was one near home.

    However at this time, we have none of the diplomatic safety valves which existed then.

    Back channels, for one.

    For the West, and America in particular, are not talking to Russia. And the Russians are rightly convinced that the West, and especially the Americans, are liars and therefore cannot be trusted in nothing they may say.

    All back channels have been burnt.

    The same is true about China and the Americans.

    The same is also true about the Iranians and the Americans.

    These are the players.

    In America we have State Department officials resigning in protest about the administration’s feckless policies. The idiocy of possibly three or more wars at the same time.

    More generally there is dissention throughout the State Department.

    And maybe the biggest problem of all. America’s inability to beat anybody in war.

    This weakness makes it vastly more dangerous and means that, of all the belligerents, the American are the most likely to go nuclear instead of facing an impending defeat.

    As the armies gather for what the ignorant Christians will call the Battle of Armageddon.

    As the Zionist propaganda machine seeks to link Iran to Hamas’s Flood operation.

    Knowing that we’ve barely avoided a nuclear holocaust previously, many times.

    And given the propensity for human error, the misunderstanding of a perceived enemy’s intentions, the absence of any modicum of trust amongst the proposed belligerents, we should expect the worse and not be running around behind foolishness about Hamas when these orders of magnitude could not possibly be more grave.

    It seems the Zionists have been forced to cancel their plans of dropping a nuclear bomb on Lebanon if Hezbollah were to get fully into the act of defending the Palestinian people.

    It would be most interesting to find out which Jewish-controlled American businesses will be given the contracts to rebuild the Gaza strip in order to re-house those hundreds of thousands displaced Palestinians.

    It seems there will be not much business opportunities for the Zionist Brits or French capitalists as both Sunak and Macron were hoping for.
