@David, the 45 guy will not be the Republican nominee at any time in the future … that is fairly certain based on these latest results!

This is now the second election he has ‘lost’ as the party leader. … Why would they entrust him to go 0 for 3!

That makes no political nor practical sense.

Just as it’s fairly impractical (madness truly) for Joe Biden to be running a hectic presidential campaign at 81 … particularly after enduring all that serious hurt from the Republican House for the next two years.

Yep, it will waste time and any nonsensical impeachment will be effectual… but surely there will be some political or private business issues discovered that WILL hurt.

If he is so halting and stodgy now we cannot expect improvement two years later.

Neither of these two men should lead their parties in 2024 … it would be very, very bad optics and frankly quite possibly also very humiliating for both eof them

  3. When are you going to admit that the Red Hatters showed up with surfboards to ride the perfect wave but….NO KOWABUNGA!

And it was ALL Trump’s fault!

The only races that matter are in swing or purple zones.

Endorsement of candidates in your party’s strongholds are insignificant. Run an actual elephant in deep red places and the elephant would win.

Now, waking up from their dreams of perfect red waves The Rinos are testing the DUMP TRUMP waters all over the news media.

Even Magats like Kayleigh Mc is signalling Trump to delay his election announcement until after the Georgia rematch!

She also asked the devil NOT to go down to Georgia but to let his
treacherous demon loose in his stead!

After all, Brian Kemp, ELECTION FRAUD DENIER DENIER, WON HIS RACE HANDSOMELY IN GEORGIA! That statewide race result TRUMPS the district result of Greene.

Now, Mr. MATHEMATICIAN, stop playing FROGnosticator THE FOOL and add it up correctly as we KNOW you can!

“Please, let it be all about Georgia! We have to win the Senate!” Thus frantic plea from Trump’s former faithful PRESS SECRETARY can only be interpreted in ONE WAY!

If you make it about you,

    Purple may turn blue!

    No 🏄!

P.S. Control of the House and the Senate may be a curse in disguise! Think of all the unpopular bills the remaining Magats may force their leaders to bring up for a vote before 2024!

After all, they have to be passing laws. That is their job. Can’t do nothing but investigations and impeachments!

Although, I look forward to those being televised on “ALL the networks!” Maga Madness for two years should slice off a thicker INDEPENDENT sliver for Democrats as Biden’s legislation starts to manifest and materialise in the lives of Americans.

And the battle for Ukraine subsides, as supply chain issues resolve, as OPEC reverses, as INFLATION deflates…..

Let”s name this show…. KRAKENQUEST – one man’s desperate search for the election vote breather. Through the ignominy of Net Biden + audits and laughed out of court cases, one man who never gives up……..will probably die trying!

    Murdaaaaaaaah!

There’s no business like show business like no business I know….

….let’s get on with the show!

  4. DPD,

Take heart! Red states have a lower life expectancy than blue and younger generations are tending and trending towards less bigotry. There are fewer young bigots than there used to be.

So – old Maga farts + left leaning young’uns should be the net result.

It was the young voters who turned back the wave, they say.

  5. The Red wave is gathering as happened in Florida and the border states!!!

  6. Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, Democrats voted for not only a man who was recovering from a stroke, but also a dead man!!

Normally it is only dead people who vote for Democrats.

The Democrats are dying in their current incarnation.

Trump has breathed life into the Republicans.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/09/pennsylvania-dead-democrat-tony-deluca-victory

  7. Many New Yorkers fled their state for Florida because of crime and taxes … Democrats.

Did they make Florida more Democrat?

    The opposite.

    Florida went totally Republican.

Did New York become more Democrat?

Nope, many seats were flipped to Republican.

Look at California where many residents are fleeing to Florida, and Texas.

    Same thing there.

The impossible once upon a time became for real.

California and New York are showing signs of going Republican.

The red wave is gathering strength.

Democrats need to change, or they will die.

  8. Fetterman the better man! You see, he was unfettered by tv shows of him peddlesnake oil, while dressed in SCRUBS though not in surgery.

He was unfettered by video of congressional hearings where he told the truth to save his skin – that what he was selling WAS, IN FACT, SNAKE OIL!

One would have to be BRAIN DEAD to believe that such a man would be better for your state than a proven community worker whose doctor gave him a good prognosis for full recovery.

Smart people would believe the doctor who hasn’t admitted to being a fraud.

Besides which, they may not KNOW that Fetterman is well enough to do the job …..but they KNOW that Oz WILL NOT even attempt to do it!

And I know you know that there are different parts of the brain that control different functions.

So..at least you didn’t stoop so low as to do the Tucker Carlson “CYBORG!” act!

Congratulations for having a lying limit!

  9. “They gone tell Herschel Walker it’s a runoff and he gonna lineup like he finna run the 40 in the combine,” one fan joked.

“Imagine trying to explain what a “runoff” is to Herschel as he tries to lace up his cleats,” one fan added.

“Who wants to tell Herschel Walker a runoff isn’t a 40-Yard Dash??” one fan added.

It’s unclear at this point if there’s a clear favorite in the upcoming runoff, which should take place in December.

    Who’s your pick?

  10. One swallow in inflation season does not a red wave foretell.

  11. Duuuuh!!

In 2018 a Blue wave was predicted and in 2016 there was supposed to be a Democrat sweep.

    Neither happened!!

    The pollsters are always wrong.

  12. And so are you, Mr Frognosticator, ALWAYS WRONG!

By the way, apparently “God” saw it fit to send another hurricane flood to Florida one day after the red wave.

I wonder what He’s trying to say?

    “Bye bye, Florida??????”

You did say God controls the weather, didn’t you? Or was that your Floridian back stop?

  13. 34 Senate seats came up for reelection in this election cycle.

Republicans defended 24 and lost 1, Pennsylvania.

Democrats defended 10 and will probably lose 1, Nevada, maybe even Georgia and Arizona.

Republicans lost in 20 election races by less than 5% against INCUMBENT Democrats, House and Senate.

In 2024, 33 Senate seats will be up for reelection.

Democrats next time will have to defend 23.

Republicans will only have to defend 10.

There is a red wave, but the pollsters were one election cycle early.

The Republican winners and losers this time are young, the Democrat incumbents are old and will be 2 years older in 2024.

If Trump is in good health, he is good for a Presidential run in 2024.

The Democrats will probably have to run Fetterman for President in 2024.

If I were to have to choose a horse and jockey for 2024, I would pick Trump astride his Republican party, but I suspect any jockey will win.

… the Democrats will be flogging a dead horse.

Next 2 years will be interesting as the Democrats need to shed Biden and Harris to even have a chance.

  14. For sure, impeachment is possible.

  15. My read… The GoP should have done better…what killed them…..female voters.

I was shocked to learn the steadfastly Republican side of my family, voted Democrat. Why? The abortion issue.

The females even convinced the males to flip. While an insignificant sample, the female Democrat vote exceeded most past patterns, in several areas.

The economy will come and go, control over decisions of the human body should be the greatest freedom of all. The pro life association with the GoP will continue to hurt them. The younger generation will not tolerate it.

  16. No, that would be a BIASED analysis.

Now, unlike you I am not always wrong. I was wrong about 2008, didn’t know racists would vote for a “n****”. I was wrong about 2016 didn’t know millions would vote for a madman.

I was on the fence for every other election. All I had was HOPE but never WISHFUL THINKING.

THEREFORE, this time I was quite on point. I knew Roe V Wade would make a huge difference. And I believed that Democrats were going to pull through UNTIL OPEC put their foot on the scale and The Bin exacted his revenge.

Kicked Biden in the butt as he bent over.

    Ouch!

(Not a good idea that Saudi handshake!)

That is when I knew it would be about inflation….just barely.

P S. And yes, racists DID vote for what they would call a “n****”.

I heard with my own ears one old ass redneck in her redneckiest accent say, “I’ve tried everything else! May as well try that there “n****”.

In other words, she was desperate. So were many, many others.

If a “n****” throws a drowning redneck a life line, is he not going to grab it?

As for Trump, I underestimated how many people besides myself felt that Hillary was made of plastic.

Also, she ran a bad campaign.

    And then there came COMEY!

But I am getting bored with America.

    Flying back to Barbados now.

  17. Even Al Sharpton, one of the Righteous Brothers and an arch racist was against Obama ,,, and O’Bribem.

Obviously, your family does not live in Florida or the parts of New York or other states that flipped Republican.

NO, it can’t be the female voters and abortion.

Many female voters are momma bears looking to protect their cubs from indoctrination in schools by gender benders.

  19. NO

@Donna, the reason why he is so wrong is simply because he seeks to mamiguy and do the ‘alternative facts’ foolishness.

He makes the rather foolish remark for example that NY and Cali are going red based on results from MaCarthy and seats won in NY.

That analysis completely dismisses the very simple reality that in the last 20 plus years 1) both of those states and other blue states have had Republican governors and 2) there both have had longstanding Republican congress folks in key areas.

In sum the remarks make little practical sense considering the fundamental demographics in both states where large segments in the suburban and rural areas are deep red but the major populated city areas trend heavily blue.

Simply noted the guy Nunes now running Truth Social was elected to his Repub district repeatedly over 20 years and the recently retired Peter King did the same in a Long Island, NY district for close to 30 years.

The fact that Republicans captured most seats in suburbia LI and many in the upstate NY area this cycle as they did in similar Cali areas is NOT surprising or NEW … and shows no more of a pending red wave than a blue one because Fetterman won in Pennslyvania or that Warnoc could beat Walker.

    Ah well!

I will await the final numbers.
The cards were in the GoPs favour. Surprised they didn’t do better.
I rarely discuss politics with my family, for like you, I know which way they vote, and there is little GoP they won’t support. Hence my shock.

  23. Sarge

I see you are a fan of the View and those idiot women!!

For Anna Navarro, the bottom line was “Who can blame them when you nominate a corpse?” She said. “I mean, yes, [DeSantis] won bigly, but he won against a corpse, a political corpse and that’s an insult to corpses.”

    So, what is Biden?

    … or Fetterman …..

.. or Tony de Luca who won his seat in 2022 in a landslide even though he was dead.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/nov/09/pennsylvania-dead-democrat-tony-deluca-victory

Besides, Anna Navarro is one of the ladies from the view whose members include such luminaries as Asunción Cummings Hostin aka Sunny (with a 99% chance of being stupid), Joyless Joy Behar and Caryn Elaine Johnson, aka Whoopsi Goldberg who is always talking rot and having to apologize.

Anna Navarro comes from a cabal of make believe, not worth the time of day.

  24. John Fetterman for President!!

    This may help.

Some of these races are separated by ~100 votes with still plenty to come in.

Got poor Schmuck Todd messing his pants.

  26. Bobert in Colorado for example started today about 100 votes below her opponent.

Now she has a 700+ lead.

    What bullshit!

When the total number of votes counted are tallied, we’ll see who won the popular vote!

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In the House races, Republicans got SIX MILLION more votes than the Democrats.

    … source Dr. Steve Turley

  29. Wave becoming more visible as counts approach 100%.

  30. Yup

Popular vote for Republicans … 6 million or as it turns out 52% to 46%, but that was clear from June when a million Democrats registered as Republican and the Democrats had cat fits.

  31. It is looking like the Republicans will get 51 Senate seats before the Georgia rerun.

If that pans out, the Republicans will have flipped both the Senate and the House.

  32. The Democrats complained in 2016 that they got the popular vote … 3 million in excess, if memory serves me right.

This time, 6 years later, the popular vote was won by the Republicans, by a factor of 6 million but it could drop a bit when California is complete.

NINE MILLION AMERICANS CHANGED FROM DEMOCRAT TO REPUBLICAN IN 6 YEARS.

IT SURE LOOKS LIKE A RED WAVE TO ME. SO HOW COME THIS THING GETTING STRETCHED OUT FOR EVER?

PERHAPS THE DEMOCRATS ARE LOOKING FOR VOTES TO COMPENSATE!!

@David, in reality that should be ‘DeSantis tears in Trump’. If you are a Republican that’s a winning narrative and the donors and those who want to win have already embraced that.

One thing that has always worked for 45 is that his statements tend to be deflected but in recent times that has not been so easily the case. … like in this article.

He is quoted as saying DeSantis is … ‘a political lightweight who had come to him “in desperate shape” when running for his first term in office in 2017’ with ‘low approval, bad polls, and no money’!

Totally LOST lost on Mr 45 is that NOW the governor has super high approvals, excellent polls and lots of money … contrasted to 45’s low approval, high negatives and many in his party saying that he is ‘the biggest loser’ who needs to go!

This former president is history. DeSantis would be politically negligent not to wait patiently after the DOJ and Georgia DA soak him with civil and criminal indictments and then tear him apart…. graciously, of course… he was his mentor of sorts, after all … and he served his party very, very well!

And of course DeSantis has shown himself to be a very deft political operative with a ‘vindictive’ CONSERVATIVE streak of the best/worst of past maguffies!

So him tearing up and ridding us of 45 is really the beginning of a very BIG political nightmare for non-Republicans!

  37. @John
    A single morning headline today
“In states where abortion rights was on the ballot, Democrats upended the typical midterm result.”

In preliminary glances it appears state to state, vs a national trend, ruled? NY vs PA? Bordering states.

2024? Bet we cannot even name the candidates for President far less a result…lol

Thinking neither Brandon nor Humpty Trumpy will be on the ballot.

  38. Relax, Trump is cool.

He once called Ted Cruz “Lying Ted” and dismantled Rant Paul’s hair, slaughtered little Marco Rubio and the other 11 or so opponents in 2016.

DeSanctimonious is not as bad as Lying Ted!!

It will be interesting to see if the two appear for Hershell Walker.

    BTW

How many states had abortion on the ballot?

    “Abortion on the Ballot
A record number of proposals related to abortion are on the ballot this year. For the first time, voters will decide whether to amend their state constitutions to protect abortion rights.
California, Michigan and Vermont will ask voters whether to add explicit protections to bolster abortion access, especially in Michigan, where a ban on the procedure is blocked in court. Kentucky will ask voters whether to reject protections, opening the door to further restrictions. A majority of Kansans opposed a similar measure in August.
Montana’s ballot measure is unlike the others. If approved, it would criminalize health care providers who do not attempt life-saving care when an abortion results in a live birth, a very rare circumstance.”

    Looks like a handful.

    @David, from the news feeds:

—- ‘Dr. Biden is for it?” MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart asked Biden about a 2024 run in a clip that aired Friday. Biden then paused and looked down at the floor, prompting Capehart to follow up with, “Mr. President?” […] “Dr. Biden thinks that, my wife thinks that,” Biden said before pausing again. “That we’re doing something very important, and I shouldn’t walk away from it.” […] Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel […] called the exchange “scary.”—–

There is really nothing scary either about the long pause or the implications thereof …

He cannot end is long and generally impressive political career by being a laughing stock of the world for ‘senior moments’ nor should he put the most powerful post in the world (and thus the world) in jeopardy by being second guessed by senior govt officials on competency.

Joe Biden cannot and MUST not enter the campaign in 2024 … his life partner and wife KNOWS that. The only issue really is WHEN he will publicly affirm that!

Currently with Putin somewhat similarly indisposed by age and health issues it’s a balanced MAD of Mutual Aged Dysfunction but that can’t persist!

  40. @DPD
Joe Biden cannot and MUST not enter the campaign in 2024 … his life partner and wife KNOWS that. The only issue really is WHEN he will publicly affirm that!
    +++++++
Why not? You seem to be suffering from a serious case of ageism. I saw Biden at a Press Conference couple of days ago and he appeared in full control of his intellect. The Republicans calling for him to quit the stage are the same ones who 2 days ago were ready to crown Donald Trump master of all he surveys, Biden is his senior by three years. They don’t have any problem with President Pro tempore Chuck Grassley who was just re-elected to a six-year term at 89.

If I was Biden, I wouldn’t let any one push me off the stage, any announcement at this time would make him an instant lame duck and unable to get anything done. Today is Remembrance Day/Veterans Day/Armistice Day and I see many old codgers who are full of vim and vigour in their advance years.

  41. de pedantic Dribbler Avatar
    de pedantic Dribbler

@Sargeant, what Republican fanatical liars do is irrelevant … their only interest is power by any means… however, to be clear Mr 45 too ‘cannot and MUST not’ be a candidate in 2024 … for other reasons!

I absolutely have no problems with competency during senior years …geez I am essentially a senior myself … the simply fact is that Joe Biden is halting and not as sharp as he should be.

Presidents age markedly in the WH and I am simply saying that Joe Biden runs a very real risk of doing himself ‘physical/mental’ harm by embracing his ego to run again.

We can either be real and practical or play games like talking about ‘ageism’ … the Presidency of the US (and world) demands and requires alertness and mental acuity … it was a strain on an elderly 74-75 year old Reagan and on an impaired and elderly Roosevelt … I perceive it is and will continue to be the same on an OLDER Joe Biden!

The man would be into his 80’s at campaign time… WHY would he put himself through that … to prove WHAT exactly!

During an interview I watched I also saw his wife sitting across in the corner and I was ‘concerned’ based on the ‘concern’ she projected.

This must go beyond semantic theory … if the Dems want to use the same ‘by any means necessary’ mentality in his case then they better be willing to accept the tremendously painful results!

  42. de pedantic Dribbler Avatar
    de pedantic Dribbler

Oh, I never said when he should announce… the issue of being a ‘lame duck’ – as Americans so ridiculously call a closing term – is understood … but frankly, in many regards all the Republicans see him in that light ANYHOW as they will do all possible and more to blunt anything he proposes fully expecting that he CANNOT win in 2024 !

But yes, affirming he will not run is clearly a very problematic political decision as it also involves others getting themselves in line.

So in the world of political REALITY any ambitious Dem should be carefully (and quietly) organizing her/his apparatus and be READY to jump into a presidential primary … when he announces!

Anything less would be political stupidity!

  43. de pedantic Dribbler Avatar
    de pedantic Dribbler

@David, apologies for being back here so soon… but this is the MADNESS of why Mr 45 will not be endorsed again … the man is sick and his pathological lying and blissful off-hand remarks cannot be anywhere near the WH again.

This was reported today as you would have seen: “I also fixed his campaign, which had completely fallen apart. I was all in for Ron, and he beat [Democrat Andrew] Gillum, but […] I sent in the FBI and the U.S. Attorneys, and the ballot theft immediately ended, just prior to them running out of the votes necessary to win.”

He SENT in the FBI to fix the campaign, fah trute. Just as he sent in Eastman and harassed Pence to fix his results. Is this man fah real!

But exactly what should be done was done … he got TAKEN to court for confirming possible ILLEGALITY by lawyers for said Andrew Gillum who were currently pleading a case for a somewhat ‘related’ DOJ investigation and they want to know “whether there is any connection to the FBI’s investigation and [this] later prosecution of Gillum.”

Perfect … make this man have to defend his words in court … either he is LYING and using hyperbole as usual or his ass is in trouble for doing exactly what Republicans are accusing this admin of doing : siccing DOJ on folks!

How in hell can anyone expect this megalomanic to run for US president again and be SUCCESSFUL is beyond my comprehension!

  44. Democrats in NY blaming one another for losses.

  45. Look at the Red on this map below,

It sure looks like a Red Wave to me even though the fake news is protesting and saying it isn’t.

The Republicans had only three goals, first control of the house, second fire Nancy Pelosi and third control of the Senate.

The first two are in the bag and they have multiple pats to the third.

Alt of the left coast of California Oregon and Portland is getting washed way.

The left coast on the eastern seaboard is also under threat.

Next election cycle New Mexico will follow.

Democrats trying desperately to find more votes in Nevada and Arizona to prevent the Republicans making a clean sweep and achieving their goals but what’s left is expected to favour the Reds at least in Arizona.

What remains in Nevada may not be enough to save the Democrats.

Some Democrat votes may turn up in the trunk of someone’s car as has happened before

    https://imgur.com/EQb1kJq

  46. Quite apart from the map being all red, the number of Republicans exceeds the number of democrats by 6 million countrywide.

If that is not a red wave, I don’t know what is.

Compared with the 2016 Presidential election when Trump won and there were 3 million more Democrats than Republicans, this is a 9 million strong Red Wave.

Clearly the fake news is twisting this simple fact.

The Democrat Party is a dying party.
