The blogmaster extends sympathy to the family of Douglas “Slanty” Trotman who died today.

You know the poor and unconnected black man has to work 3 times as hard as the white man in the white man’s land but 6 times as hard as the white man in his own land. From March 3rd.. persistent delay in giving a date.Nov 18th .. will see the outcome”

(Douglas Trotman November 2021)

It is unfortunate Trotman died before securing legal fees earned from the compulsory Acquisition of property known as Sam Lords Castle. The blogmaster understands the transaction was frustrated by the Mottley government.

The documents filed with the Barbados detail the sorry tale.

What was his proximate age. Seem to remember him as a younger lawyer willing to take cases others avoided.

  2. Born in 1965.

  3. Covid?

    Was a courageous lawyer.

  4. So presumably the money owed is still due to his estate/his children and will be paid to them sooner rather than later?

  5. This guy was born the same year as me. That makes him, by default, to be suspect. Sarcasm intended.

I respect people who stand against tyranny on any level, and sadly history gives credence to what they strove for rather than the era they lived in.

    Does that make sense?

Race and skin colour mean nothing compared to the person but perhaps I am a dinosaur when it comes to modernity and the way in which we are told to think.

  6. The crime scenes have gone global, can’t cover them up or hide them anymore they are alive have long legs and walking around.

  7. “Covid?

    Was a courageous lawyer.”

given the track records, no one who knows what’s been going on for some time/a very long time, and which he was very concerned and openly spoke about, is convinced.

  8. AND yes, he spoke to me and many, many other people about those CONCERNS……

    Three more deaths

THREE PEOPLE – a man and two women – are the most recent victims of COVID-19.
A 57-year-old man and a woman, 74, passed away at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility on Saturday. They were both unvaccinated.
Yesterday morning, a 48-year-old woman, who was unvaccinated, also died at Harrison Point.
The COVID-19 death toll now stands at 238.

This is indeed sad and worrying.
Seems that not only in Barbados but throughout the world, as the flu season enters, so does Covid.
Even more worrying is the prospect of the cycles of the past two years repeating themselves, even within populations of relatively high vaccination rates.

  11. David
We suspect that 57 year old man to be Douglas.

  12. There is a report in today’s press that many people are presenting too late, to be expected that the unvaccinated have a point to prove.

TWENTY-EIGHT PEOPLE with COVID-19 have died in the Queen Elizabeth > Hospital’s (QEH) Accident & Emergency (A& E) Department in the past three > months. > > This has been revealed by head of the A& E, Dr Joanne Bradford, while > lamenting that Barbadians who may be sick or showing symptoms of the viral > illness are waiting too late in many instance before seeking medical care. >

The booster shot was taken by this writer a few weeks ago.

That time, unlike the first two times, there was an obvious set of reactions.

The truthful maintenance of a level of criticality should not be the enemy of taking all possible measures to preserve one’s life, including vaccinations.

  14. “We suspect that 57 year old man to be Douglas.”

he told a family member he don’t know how he got to Harrison’s Point ..

.don’t know how accurate, but it’s said he was called to the island for that same case…and apparently he won…again, this info is second hand…and apparently some plot is in place to return his children to Barbados and if true…SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN…because that is NOT WHAT HE WANTED..

  15. “We suspect that 57 year old man to be Douglas.”

he told a family member he don’t know how he got to Harrison’s Point ..

to reiterate…he said he could not remember being trasported there, couldn’t remember anything leading up to that…and knew he was to die because he WAS NOT ILL…the amount being spoken about in pay out after the case is over 20 million..

“My experience at Grantley Adams International Airport on Saturday 23, 2021

    by Douglas Trotman

Landed in Barbados around 9:30 am from St.Kitts and Nevis.

When asked by one of the two Customer Representatives if I had a booking for a quarantine accomodation I replied in the negative.

Told to go and sit on a bench and sort out a booking.

I dutifully sat(haven’t been told to sit like that since primary school days) while informing the two Customer Service Representatives that it was my intention to quarantine at home.

They asked if I had permission to do so and I said no. They pointed out that I should have applied at least 72 hours before. I pointed out that the travel protocols said that travelers to Barbados could not home quarantine. They disputed this with me.(there are exceptions, none of which applied to me)

No assistance was offered in terms of contacting the relevant authorities to facilitate me in being able to quarantine at home.

Instead, someone from the BTMI was called and I told the Customer Representative that I had no money to pay for any hotel.

Despite this they handed me a slip of paper with the name of a guest house on it and told me to proceed to the next step.

The next step was the process of being registered on the BIM Safe App and told the assistant that I would not be staying at the guest house. He acknowledged my statement and told me to proceed to immigration.

Having completed immigration procedures the next step was to fill out a form with information about home address and quarantine location. Instructions on how to/what to do during quarantine was provided.

Stating that I would be quarantining at home I filled the form to reflect that.

A discussion ensued about having to apply for permission to quarantine at home. No assistance was offered in terms of contacting anyone to facilitate a request to home quarantine.

I asked the nurse for a copy of the form I was completing and she told me that she did not have any means to provide me with a copy. I took a photo of the form.

When I mentioned that I had quarantined several times before and that I was aware of what was on the form I was told that I had never heard it from her. She proceeded to go through her set routine. I was then allowed to leave and I collected my bag, cleared customs through the green line and exited into the fresh air of Beautiful Barbados.

When I reached the dispatcher’s desk he told me that the only place I was permitted to travel to was the guest house selected by the BTMI.

My response was that I had no money to pay for accommodation and that I had my own unoccupied home.

The two Airport Staff I met at the dispatcher’s booth were friendly and polite throughout the entire ordeal.

An email requesting permission to home quarantine was sent to the Chief Medical Officer, copied to the Permanent Secretary and to the Press Secretary of the Prime Minister.

During my wait I was approached by a Nurse and by two police officers. Again the exchanges were cordial as they sought to understand why I was not going to a government approved quarantine facility.

Several factors were raised by me along with my inability to mert the financial cost at this time.

The issue of the 9pm curfew was raised by one of the officers. The nurse said that I would never have been able to leave inside if the arrival hall if she was on duty since I did not have a letter of permission to quarantine at home. She was unaware of the protocol which restricted travelers from home quarantine.

When she left she said that when I got permission that I should inform them on the inside.

Mobile data issues and some power issues occurred. When they were resolved I checked my email and saw the response to my request for home quarantine from the Deputy Chief Medical Officer. Permission had been granted at 1:11 pm.

Today Sunday 24th I will address the issue of discrimination against the unvaccinated travellers as reflected in the new travel protocol.

    I am unvaccinated.”

    Why steuspe?

  19. Pacha…problem for the world class criminals who punch way ABOVE above their light weight …is that Douglas DOCUMENTED EVERYTHING…..and made sure others had access to the information in case shit happened…..and obviously he knew it would, spoke about it all the time..

  20. So….wunnuh suggesting that this was murder?????

    STEUPSE!

Many others are experiencing these difficulties.

  21. @Pacha

Will answer you this way – the blogmaster has confidence in the local medical fraternity who have been working 24/7 to save lifes in Barbados since this pandemic started.

  22. No one accused the medical fraternity of anything…i was VERY EXPLICIT in what i said..

  23. Waru
This writer was not aware of these issues. However, a “dying” man’s words have great legal value. But weeeee are not acquianted enough with his recent life to so suppose. Thanks for his statement though.

  24. The problem with the anti-everything stance is that one loses perspective and can easily become paranoid.

Many Barbadians are becoming paranoid. There is a conspiracy around EVERY DAMN CORNER.

    It is becoming counterproductive.

  25. “However, a “dying” man’s words have great legal value.”

it is legal tender and can be taken to the bank, i would believe it any day before the LYING living with their worldwide track records of devious and deadly criminality, he was very, very concerned for his children and with good reason….can’t post everything here and won’t…but it’s on point.

  26. David
Levels of relative confidence are where we like to be.

Not perfection or belief, but confidence. Weee can live with than!

  27. @Pacha

People can believe what they want but to resort to spreading lies to prop up an opinion, we will not have it.

  28. Pacha…when i had my case going for a decade, you would not believe the TON OF SHIT coming out of the mouths of the IGNORANT, indoctrinated and brainwashed….if i had listened to any of them, i would be just like them, and that is always their intent, they are STUCK and cannot move and want everyone to stay in that LOCKED POSITION with them.., they LACK self-esteem, and self-confidence and if YOU show either, they will come after you with their slavemindedness.

that’s why i ignored them and did what i knew would work, now the IGNORANT are singing a far different tune but out of hatred this time….

  29. And no one has a right to say that the man speaking to his family about what was happening to him is lies….unless they GOT PROOF……especially when he told many, many, many people over the years about what is liable to happen…

  30. So i will wait patiently for the proof posted to BU that he lied…

  31. Agree 100% with this comment.

  32. Now…. who can bring his children back to Barbados? Is their mother alive? If not, and he was their sole legal guardian, and he thought that he was in danger and that they then could be in danger, would he, being an attorney, not have made legal moves to secure their safety OUTSIDE OF BARBADOS?

I am assuming that these are minors we are talking about.

Who has the authority to bring his children back to Barbados and into “danger”?

  33. If a centenarian suffering with dementia fails to awaken in her bed one morning, after predicting that her daughter was trying to poison her for her property, some people would automatically assume that she was poisoned.

MOST of them would be wrong.

In reading the “download” files provided, interesting the outstanding debt for compulsory acquisition, was to repaid by issuing bonds!!! You delay payment for years, accrue massive interest payable, then lump principle and interest and pay using another debt instrument.
Glad I own no land they can acquire.

  35. Pacha…that Sam Lords Castle case was ongoing for a very long time, can’t remember exact dates although i was told, but i believe it was older than mine….and if i was WARNED many, many times over the decade about MY SAFETY….imagine what he was going through…

  36. Steupse!

  37. If they wanted to kill you, you would be DEAD.

  38. Why do you stupid intellects have to view everything through the lens of racism? The Government that shafted this hard working man was BLACK not white, and it was DLP, BLP, etc and as far as I recall, 99.9% of the makeup of these governments were black people. He was not shafted because he was black and the colour of his skin should not be the issue. You cry babies make me sick! You have lost the art of objective criticism and after reading one sentence of your bull, I am going to the bathroom to puke.

  39. Wunnuh ga long! De conspiracy theories gun kill wunnuh long befo’ Mia.

  40. The fact of the mattter is Pacha….people have access to all the information they need to catspraddle and TAKE DOWN..

“If they wanted to kill you, you would be DEAD”

only a clown STUPID like you would say something STUPID LIKE THAT…you have no clue, have no information and want to insert yaself…and still end up looking STUPID anyway……cause no one will throw any cake, not even a morsel of decayed meat at you…that’s what ya have reduced yaself to…

  41. Veronica Michaels,

The white supremacist system has always had its black accomplices. Take a look at the world! The system is a white supremacist one. Most evils emanate naturally from this system.

It does not mean that blacks cannot do evil off their own steam. They are quite capable of that. All people are.

But the world systems have operated under the deliberate ideology of white supremacy for four hundred years.

All the world systems are built on it, including ours or rather OURS FIRST.

    WURA is correct about that.

And mental slavery is real. It exists here in Barbados. It can cause people to do some things that don’t serve their own interests in the long term.

History happened. And it leaves its mark. Not quite indelible but very difficult to erase.

  42. If they wanted to kill you. You would be DEAD.

Are you some sort of movie ninja that cannot be found?

Kings are killed. Presidents are killed. Bin Laden was killed

    Who the ass is you?

P.S. Who comes here for meat when their fridge is full of meat?

Oh dear! David I am trying to behave but you see what always happens here.

  43. None of this can be blamed on history, it’s ya wicked, corrupt sellout TIEFING officials of DBLP doing this for over the last HALF CENTURY…to their own people….because they saw the opportunities for decades and TOOK IT….to enrich their evil selves…..they committed their ANTI-BLACK CRIMES and blamed it on UK and Europe…

but that particular episode is NOW OVER…..they have no one to pass anymore blame to…it’s now all on them and the PEOPLE will not blink and will EXPOSE THEM CONSISTENTLY and CONSTANTLY..

  44. If they wanted to kill you, you would have been DEAD.

  45. “Who the ass is you?”

am the one who gave them HELL TO KILL….think on that, ya may learn something finally. and if you think you can succeed where they failed, just try it and see yaself get PUT DOWN like a rabid dog..

  46. Who has the authority to bring back DOUGLAS TROTMAN’S children?

    @David
It was noted in the same download files of Dr Greenidge being included. I know the IMF were instrumental in getting very aged sums paid to suppliers of GoB and NGO entities. One might suspect these A/P’s re compulsory acquisition fall under a similar umbrella.

  48. This is what the commenter must mean when stating all sense of coherent and logical reasoning is not with some people. Politicians are elected from the people we pitched marbles and went to school. They are from among us NOt Mars. The major issue exposed again in the BARP blig is that we (citizens) have usurped our responsibility.
