They are asking for any certifications, including a declared Biden victory, to be put on hold while the lawsuit is considered.
Lawmakers are asking for an injunction that would prevent executives in the state, including Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf and Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar, from tabulating, computing, canvassing, certifying, or otherwise finalizing the results.
Biden won the presidency with the help of Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes. His winning the state with more than 81,000 votes out of nearly 7 million ballots that were cast.
Most mail-in ballots were submitted by Democrats.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court dismissed the case over the weekend.

As the Trump campaign gears up to present their legal challenge in Nevada, disturbing evidence of a cash for votes program has surfaced.
The Trump campaign says “a shocking number of states have discovered that groups claiming to support the Native American community’s voice at the polls have engaged in blatantly illegal bribery and vote incentivizing with cash cards, gas cards, electronics and other items. This scandal appears to have been rampant in Nevada. Posts on the Nevada Native Vote Project Facebook page show that similar raffles were conducted in 15 Nevada native communities, with 116 voters receiving $6,650 in cash prizes.”
This isn’t small potatoes – as CNN commmentator Van Jones admitted: “The Native American community played a tremendous role [in Biden’s ‘victory’ in Nevada and Arizona.’” He added, “They are responsible for the victory.”
The Washington Examiner notes:
Key Native American leaders working with the Biden campaign offered tribal members and associates Visa gift cards, jewelry, and other “swag” to vote in the presidential election, according to several videos being used by the Trump campaign’s effort to challenge Nevada’s vote.
In one long video, officials from the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony are shown offering a raffle for gift cards in values of $25, $100, $250, and $500 to those who can prove they voted.
Other gifts for voting include bracelets, necklaces, earrings, T-shirts, and masks.

Trump is worried that he may be prosecuted in New York after he leaves office
In a 46-minute speech on Wednesday, President Donald Trump openly expressed concerns about facing prosecution for state crimes upon leaving office.
“Now I hear that these same people that failed to get me in Washington have sent every piece of information to New York so that they can try to get me there,” he said.
Trump could pardon himself, but that would apply only to federal offenses.
The president has lashed out at investigators before, but Wednesday marked a departure in how much he had revealed about his fears.
“They want to take not me but us down,” Trump said. “And we can never let them do that.”
The president faces a slew of legal issues on the federal and state levels once he’s out of office on January 20. New York Attorney General Letitia James is conducting a civil investigation into the Trump Organization’s business practices.
And a federal court filing from Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance suggested he was conducting an investigation into Trump and the Trump Organization on suspicion of bank and insurance fraud, The New York Times reported.
Trump was also named “Individual-1” in a filing by the Southern District of New York when his former attorney Michael Cohen was charged with making hush-money payments.
And a lawsuit from two attorneys general alleged he violated the Constitution’s emoluments clause. His inaugural committee also faces a lawsuit alleging it schemed to funnel nonprofit money into the Trump family business.

Earlier Friday, the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said Carone pleaded the initial charges down to disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
Her boyfriend’s ex-wife, Jessica, called Southgate police about Carone multiple times between November 2018 and September 2019, initially after receiving three videos from an unknown email address showing Carone and her ex having sex. Carone’s last name was then Wright.
Police traced the IP address from the emails to Carone, who initially denied sending them but revealed she was aware of their content. Eventually, she confessed to investigators, saying her goal was to send Jessica “over the top.” She admitted to also asking her boyfriend to cover her tracks by getting a new router and internet provider

However, that loss means that GP received another email soliciting funds for Trump Defense fund, it may come signed by Don Jr. and have wording to the effect “my father is counting on you to help restore American democracy” and list the amounts he can send.
I assume most of those funds will go to pay off his debts coming due in the next two years.
