“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” – Matthew 5:9 New International Version (NIV)

It is amazing the more educated we have become the more the beatitudes that should inform Christian behaviour and values are seemingly forgotten. For the evangelicals and the Conservatives Donald Trump is right because he conforms with the pro-life view and has aligned the SCOTUS to achieve this end, he ‘supports’ the Jews reflected in his decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Other examples abound.

Does it matter that President Trump is a card carrying adulterer?

That his imperfections have been recorded for world citizens to hear AND see?

His blatant disrespect for women?

His mocking of the differently able and on it goes. Clearly he is a man and therefore not perfect. What is missing from these so called Christians that support Trump is the unwillingness to hold him accountable for his behaviour that contradicts Christian teachings.

Given the influence Trump has as  president of the USA domestically and geopolitically,  the blogmaster as a world citizen worries how it will all translate in time to come. The latest news about the unexploded bombs addressed to prominent actors who are critics of Trump AND the shooting of Jews worshipping in a Pittsburg synagogue support a reasonable conclusion that words uttered by Trump matter.

Monitoring the two stories in the US media over the last couple of days it seems political commentators are reluctant to blame Trump as the person who must bear some blame for Cesar Altier Sayoc and the other nut job for feelign emboldened to terrorize the US space.The blogmaster is not so inhibited. He has been an immature, incompetent and bombastic political leader who has done nothing to improving the lot of mankind given the influence of the USA on world affairs.

    Ever since the night of November 8, 2016, the Leftwing establishment news media, most other Democrats, and the #NeverTrumpists have lost their collective minds. Normal people deal with grief in stages, with the last stage being acceptance, but not the Left. For them, America has become purgatory because Trump bedevils simply by being alive.

    There was a time, of course, when the Left admired Trump, but not since he dared #WalkAway from the Democrat Party and run as a Republican. As unforgivable as that may be, the fact that he defeated seventeen Republicans, overcame #NeverTrumpist opposition to win the nomination and ultimately crushed the Jezebel Nightmare that November has driven them insane.

    Let’s face it, the Left has always attracted crazies, social outcasts, and other losers. The Left becomes a magnet for anti-American, anti-Semitic, and anti-Christian lunatics for whom politics is religion. And, like all crazed zealots, violence is never far from their minds. In the 20th Century alone, almost 200 million people around the world were butchered in the name of Progress because, like Walter Duranty of the New York Times said, “One cannot make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.”

    The only difference between socialists of the 20th Century and the current variety is seventy-five years ago, socialists wore sharp-looking black uniforms with creases sharp enough to slice bread. Today, they tend to wear ratty blue jeans and black hoods. But, violence is the preferred political tool used by social outcast losers irked that no one pays them any attention. Some things never change.

    In July 2017, a deranged Leftist with a list of Republican names fired hundreds of rounds at his “enemies” who practiced for the upcoming Congressional baseball game.

    In October, another deranged Leftist killed scores of people in Las Vegas for crimes against humanity, i.e. for liking country music, and probably having voted for Donald J. Trump.

    Since then, Leftists have encouraged their military arm to “get in their faces”, to follow them into stores, restaurants, gasoline stations, and tell them they’re not worthy of breath. Leftists welcome all forms of violence against their ideological enemies, including shooting out the windows of campaign offices in various locales.

    People suspected of being Trump voters have been attacked continually. With clubs, bricks, bicycle locks, and anything the losers can grab and turn into a weapon. It is only a matter of time before one of those lunatics shoots innocent people for thinking politically incorrect thoughts.

    And, although they don’t need to be encouraged, the fake media presents wall-to-wall coverage for any anti-Trump screed CNN and MSNBC fanatics hope will result in the Left pushing the envelope and stoking a second civil war. Democrats may not be good for a much of anything, but they do know how to start a civil war. The sad part is that after a half a million people are killed, another Appomattox will result, and the country will recover just like last time—with five hundred thousand fewer Americans than when it began.

    Free Americans have the means to crush their wild socialist fantasies, however. We have the ability to thwart the Left’s Final Solution to Freedom and Prosperity, and we must not squander the opportunity. And, while I recognize the Left will resort to additional violence after we defeat them at the ballot box, we must overcome the enemies of Jews, Christians, and freedom-loving Americans.

    All Americans who haven’t gone to the polls in years have the opportunity this time to make a real difference. Every vote counts. And the Left knows they’re in for a world of hurt. They’ve unleashed three October Surprises already, and who knows what else they’ll do before November 6?

    But, expect something more than DNA “proof” of Faux Indian blood, fake bombs sent to Deep State Democrats with sealed indictments hanging over their heads, and murdering peaceable worshipers at a synagogue.

    These deranged leftists have attacked We the People at nightclubs, churches, synagogues, run us down on the streets, and murdered us for enjoying country music. That’s who we’re up against.

    Next Tuesday, November 6, 2018, we can fire back with a blistering, overwhelming salvo of ballots that, when the smoke clears, will leave an indelible impression even on clueless Leftists. GET OUT AND VOTE!

    So…… facing the reality of racism means that “hard back black men” should go out there and beat up some white people……… or come on BU and cuss them on a daily basis…….. which does not serve any meaningful purpose……..

    ………. rather than a “social revolution,” whereby there would be a concentrated effort to support black owned businesses, forming co-operatives for our own enfranchisement, etc …….. transforming our society, culture and philosophy.

    Actions speak volumes……. not a lot of hot air and shiite talk………. which sounds impressive and gives one the self-belief they’re championing some cause…….. and which they are only prepared to push, anonymously, on BU and other blogs……..instead of making a stance publicly.

    The Mexican government says that a group in Guatemala are building Molotov cocktails to use against their national police, blocking them from entering the country. They also say that some of the illegal aliens in the second caravan are carrying guns.

    This does not sound like refugees to me. It sounds very much like they are invaders, bent on getting in by any means necessary. Mexico has asked the Guatemalan government for assistance, to shut down the manufacture of the explosive devices. There are currently four different caravans making their way to our border.

    Due to the violent nature of the protest, authorities in both Mexico and Guatemala are working to identify the individuals who are believed behind the clashes and those preparing the improvised incendiary devices, said Mexico’s Secretary of the Interior Alfredo Navarrete Prida. The official also confirmed that in the most recent clash, some of the suspects carried firearms and Molotov cocktails.

    The group in Guatemala is separate from the migrant caravan, which is currently in Mexico and is making its way to the United States. Mexico’s government asked the members of the northern caravan to follow immigration law so they could receive temporary employment, state-funded healthcare, and education. However, the group turned down the offers and is preparing to continue north. From that caravan, 422 migrants requested assistance from Mexican authorities to return home.

    These violent thugs are exactly the reason we need to protect our borders. The president of the United States number priority is for the safety of our country and our citizens.

    Even Obama Justice Dept. Predicted Migration Explosion
    A federal judge’s ruling sparked a massive increase in immigrant families — real and otherwise — and led to today’s caravans
    By Brendan Kirby | Tuesday, October 30, 2018

    Lawyers went to court to warn that judge-imposed detention rules could lead to an explosion of immigrant families streaming across the southwest border illegally — and, perhaps, lead to the separation of parents and children.

    But those were not attorneys from President Donald Trump’s administration or an anti-immigration organization, and the hearing did not take place within the past few months. It was the Department of Justice (DOJ) under President Barack Obama in 2015.

    At issue was a 1997 agreement signed during Bill Clinton’s presidency, settling a 1985 lawsuit that changed the rules for detention of foreign children who come without adults across the border. The settlement of the suit filed by an illegal immigrant named Jenny Lisette Flores placed a 20-day limit on the detention of unaccompanied minors.

    A federal judge later ruled that the 20-day limit applies to a situation that was almost unheard of until about decade ago — children traveling with their parents or other adults. A surge in that type of illegal immigration in 2014 prompted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials to hold illegal immigrant mothers and children in unlicensed facilities pending the outcome of their immigration court cases.

    A civil rights group challenged the policy, alleging that it violated the Flores settlement. U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee, an Obama appointee, agreed.

    In August 2015, in an effort to persuade Gee to stop her order from taking effect, DOJ lawyers warned in written arguments that her position would require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release all families who enter the United States illegally — even if they have no legitimate claim for asylum.

    “Even the Obama administration could see the terrible consequences of it. And one of them is this caravan.”

    “Defendants submit that eliminating DHS’ ability to use the authorities Congress has provided in the INA [Immigration and Nationality Act] to respond to illegal entries could undo the progress that has been achieved in reducing the number of families illegally crossing the southwest border since the summer of 2014,” the government’s brief stated.

    “Specifically, the proposed remedies could heighten the risk of another surge in illegal migration across our southwest border by Central American families, including by incentivizing adults to bring children with them on their dangerous journey as a means to avoid detention and gain access to the interior of the United States.”

    As Predicted, Family Migration Surged
    The Justice Department further argued that the judge’s order would leave the “separation of mothers and children as DHS’ only option” for dealing with any future surge of illegal border crossings by families.

    Gee declined to modify her order. The Obama administration avoided the specter of family separation — which came to haunt the Trump administration during its ill-fated zero-tolerance policy — by releasing most families to the interior of the country.

    But the Obama DOJ warnings proved prescient. The predicted surge did, in fact, occur. Illegal border crossings from children and adults traveling together — deemed “family units” by the government — had dropped from 68,556 in fiscal year 2014 to 39,838 in fiscal year 2015, following implementation of the new detention policies.

    “We’re seeing the consequences of the Flores settlement. The U.S. government is completing the smuggling process … Flores means catch and release for everyone — children and adults.”

    Just as the DOJ warned, however, the numbers started climbing rapidly, after Gee’s order led smugglers and people in Central America to realize that they would not be held as long if they brought children with them.

    MORE FROM LIFEZETTE
    The figure for family units in fiscal year 2016 hit 77,694. Alarmingly, that number dropped only slightly in fiscal year 2017, to 75,622, despite an overall 25 percent decline in illegal border crossings.

    In the fiscal year that ended September 30, the number of family units Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) officers caught spiked to 107,212.

    “Even the Obama administration could see the terrible consequences of it. And one of them is this caravan,” said Christopher Hajec, director of litigation at the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI).

    Hajec was referring to the large group of Central Americans now moving north through Mexico toward the United States. Current estimates peg the caravan at 4,000, but it could be much bigger than that. A second caravan is at the border of Mexico and Guatemala, and there have been violent clashes between caravaners and the authorities.

    Although the size and visuals of the caravan attract outsized media attention, an equivalent number of people try to cross into the United States without authorization every three days or so. An increasing number are children and parents.

    Roughly 98 percent of illegal border crossers in 2000 were adults traveling alone, but nearly 40 percent of the illegal immigrants CBP officers apprehended in fiscal year 2018 were children traveling by themselves or children and adults traveling together.

    Unaccompanied minors and family units also made up about half of the 124,511 illegal immigrants deemed “inadmissible” at border crossing stations.

    ‘Flores Means Catch and Release for Everyone’
    Once released, many of the children and parents coming into the country then illegally skip court dates scheduled to determine whether they are eligible to remain here or must be deported. Not surprisingly then, as an administration official told reporters last week, only 1.4 percent of Central American family units apprehended in fiscal year 2017 have been deported.

    Hajec told LifeZette that the Obama administration was justified in seeking to hold migrant families.

    “They were absolutely right,” he said. “We’re seeing the consequences of the Flores settlement. The U.S. government is completing the smuggling process … Flores means catch and release for everyone — children and adults.”

    Chris Chmielenski, deputy director of the low-immigration advocacy group NumbersUSA, said it should not have been a surprise that more Central Americans wanting to come to the United States would take advantage of the court ruling.

    “We certainly saw it coming,” he told LifeZette. It should have been obvious to anyone paying even casual attention, Chmielenski said.

    “It makes such complete and total sense that even the Obama administration saw it coming,” he said.

    Brandon Judd, president of the U.S. Border Patrol Council, told LifeZette that supervisors in the agency missed a golden opportunity to put different systems into place during the illegal immigration lull that followed Trump’s inauguration last year and his tough talk on illegal immigration.

    “And we didn’t do it,” he said. “What we thought was that the rhetoric would work. We didn’t plan for the future.”

    Critics of current U.S. policy argue that encouraging young children and families to walk thousands of miles across Mexico is not compassionate. DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen told Fox News last week that roughly 30 percent of women and girls fall victim to sexual assault on the journey. Some human rights groups say sexual assaults are even more common.

    Hajec said he saw the dangers first-hand during a recent tour of a border area in Texas that included a chat with a rancher.

    The only thing Barbados exported to America were Quaker beliefs!!

    Beginning first in 1655 with Mary Fischer and Ann Austin, they sailed to the New England colonies.

    They were persecuted, beaten, and in the case of William Leddra hanged but they still kept going to carry their message.

    The economy has been one of President Trump’s greatest accomplishments and more good news has surfaced about it. New numbers indicate that wages and salaries have increased by the highest level in 10 years.

    According to The Washington Free Beacon:
    Wages and salaries rose 0.9 percent in the third quarter, beating expectations and bringing the yearly increase in wages and salaries to 3.1 percent, the largest increase in a decade. The 9.9 percent increase beat the expectation of 0.5 percent.

    The unemployment rate is also at 3.7 percent, the lowest it has been since 1969, CNBC reports. Employment costs rose by 0.8 percent in the third quarter, slightly ahead of economists’ estimates, possibly signaling more inflation.

    “The employment cost index data adds to the broader evidence that wage growth has continued to trend gradually higher over recent quarters,” said Michael Pearce, senior U.S. economist at Capital Economics. “And with labor market conditions still tightening, we expect wage growth will accelerate further from here.”

    Although slow pay growth has been limited during the current recovery, employers now appear to be raising wages to a more typical level for a good economy. With unemployment low and more job openings than unemployed Americans, employers have to compete for workers.

    The increase in demand for workers has caused wages to increase so these employers can attract more employees. This is just another win for President Trump and American workers.

    There is a tiny chance of any one on this Blog being a descendant of a house slave/negro on a large plantation.

    Kendal is the largest plantation in Barbados.

    Here is a list of about 400 slaves on Kendal and Hallets plantation in 1817, owned at the time by William Hinds Prescod.

    If you look at the occupations of the slaves you will see immediately that there are not many slaves who spent time in the house … so not many descendants when compared with the descendants of Field slaves/negroes or of those specially skilled slaves/negroes.

    There is a Butler, a couple of others allocated to House, a washer … less than 10, so less than 2.5% could be categorized as House Slaves/Negroes!!

    Now look at the occupations of the men.

    Let me show you how the descendant of a slave with special skills behaves and the expectations they have of the society in which they live.

    Jackie Stewart is the daughter of Ellsworth Holder.

    Here is my attempt at constructing her genealogy.

    Ellsworth Holder was the son of Abraham Holder, School Teacher.

    Abraham Holder was the son of Charles Holder, Carpenter.

    Charles Holder was the son of Abraham Grig Holder, a slave born in 1805 and whose occupation as a 12 year old was listed as Carpenter.

    … and Abraham Grig Holder … well, here is my guess … I believe his father was Grig, a Carpenter also, born in 1752.

    You see how those special skills separated Grig and Abraham Grig from the Field Slave/Negro on their plantation …. and you see how it is possible for there to be envy and jealousy on the part of the Field Slave/Negro.

    … and you see the generation by generation improvement of circumstances those special skill allowed.

    You also, realise that if those with skills emigrate to improve themselves, which is perfectly understandable, there is a degeneration of the society they left, particularly if the envy and jealousy is encouraged.

    I think that is a real problem we face in Barbados today, the capable Bajans have moved on, what’s left is a preponderance of persons, warped and twisted by generations of envy and jealousy.

    So … we are in sh!t and there isn’t much to be done about it!!

    “I do believe that if somebody wants to live in the United States, they should go through the official process. So as a result, I tend to ally myself with people who agree with that,” the Texas Latino voter said.

    “When you see images like the migrant caravan and President Trump talking about the caravan, does that motivate you to want to vote in a certain way?” Atencio asked.

    The voter responded, “Yes, it makes me want to vote Republican. I think if you want to live in this country, you need to abide by its laws.”

    “That blows my mind,” the MSNBC host said after the segment.

    In Houston, MSNBC reporter Mariana Atencio is surprised to find that Hispanic voters also support Republicans and are opposed to illegal immigration.

    A vibrant economy and low unemployment but 45’s main campaign strategy is fear and loathing which is a trial run of his 2020 campaign. He is scared shitless of the Democrats taking the House where they will have subpoena powers and target his tax returns among other things.     I suggest you read the reports by the governors during the rush to go to Panama at the turn of the last century. May be they are in the Archives, or the UK’s public records office. I read them in the library of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office; they make interesting reading.
