There is no such thing as “American Exceptionalism”! And therefore, the President and Government of the United States of America (USA) are just as subject to the rules of International Law as are the President and Government of any other country.
Thus, when– on Friday the 11th of August 2017 — President Donald Trump of the USA threatened a unilateral military strike against the sovereign and independent Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela he was breaching a rule of International Law that is so fundamental that it is enshrined in Article 2 of the United Nations (UN) Charter.
Article 2 (4) of the UN Charter stipulates that “all Members (of the UN) shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any State, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.”
But this was not the first or only time that President Trump and his Administration had committed a flagrant breach of the said Article 2 (4) of the UN Charter !
Indeed, ever since taking up the office of President of the USA in January of 2017, Mr. Trump has attacked the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on no less than four occasions by issuing Executive Orders and inflicting punitive and damaging sanctions against the Government and people of that sovereign, politically independent nation.
President Trump also went on the public record on Tuesday the 8th of August 2017 threatening the Government and people of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea (North Korea) with “fire and fury like the world has never seen” if — according to him — the Government of North Korea makes “any more threats to the United States”. This –it is clear — is a threat of a nuclear conflagration that will be much more horrific than the “atomic” decimation that the USA inflicted on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 !
And, as if to further emphasize his utter contempt for the precepts of International Law, Mr. Trump used the podium of the General Assembly of the UN on Tuesday the 19th of September 2017 to issue a further threat to “totally destroy North Korea”, and to publicly parade his arrogant determination to defy the many U N resolutions that have denounced the USA’s illegal and genocidal blockade of the Republic of Cuba and demanded its termination.
In light of the fact that the USA has proven itself to be, perhaps, the most aggressive and warlike nation in the history of the World — with a record of having initiated or participated in well in excess of two hundred major military assaults or wars against other sovereign, independent countries during the 241 years of its existence as an independent state–the international community of nations would be well advised to take President Trump’s illegal threats and attacks very seriously.
It is against this background therefore that we, the Members of the Caribbean Chapter of the International Network In Defense of Humanity, would like to remind all member states of the United Nations of their Constitutional power to bring the issue of President Trump and his flagrant and dangerous breaches of International Law before the UN General Assembly for collective discussion and for the prescribing of an appropriate response by the World community.
Article 11 (2) of the UN Charter establishes that “the General Assembly (of the UN) may discuss any questions relating to the maintenance of international peace and security brought before it by any Member of the United Nations…..and……may make recommendations with regard to any such questions to the State or States concerned or to the Security Council or to both….”
Furthermore, Article 20 of the Charter provides that “special sessions (of the General Assembly) shall be convoked by the Secretary-General at the request of……. a majority of the Members of the United Nations.”
In light of the foregoing, we — the Members of the Caribbean Chapter of the International Network In Defense of Humanity now hereby:-
(1) CALL upon the responsible and peace-loving Member States of the United Nations to join together in a collective effort to bring the issue of President Trump and his flagrant breaches of Article 2 of the UN Charter before the General Assembly of the United Nations ; and
(2) REQUEST that all responsible and peace-loving members of the human family support this CALL by:-
(a) attaching their signature, name and address to this CALL ; and
(b) forwarding this CALL to the Head of Government and Minister of Foreign Affairs of their country either via e-mail or by printing and sending a hard copy.

This week, Trump made a complete fool of himself – yet again – and put American lives in danger by threatening North Korea in his outrageous first speech before the U.N. General Assembly. What most political commentators failed to mention about Trump’s first speech was the lack of world leaders in attendance.
Leaders of the most powerful countries in the world all sent Trump a clear message by skipping his first speech. It’s at a point where other world leaders don’t want anything to do with Trump. They know that he’s the world’s laughing stock and nothing more than a reality TV president with no political background.
Even Russian President Vladimir Putin skipped Trump’s big speech. Other notable names notin attendance included Chinese President Xi Jinping, Germany’s Angela Merkel, England’s Theresa May and Mexico’s Enrique Peña Nieto.
Trump has attacked all of the world leaders mentioned above in one way or another. Donald once demanded that Germany pay its fair share into NATO. He’s ridiculed China for the way the government handles North Korea.”

FORMER executive chairman of CL Financial Lawrence Duprey was ordered by a Florida judge in July to pay more than US$60 million to British American Insurance Company (BAICO) in damages in relation to the TT$1.9 billion Green Island project in Osceola County, Florida.
The insurance company had taken Duprey and one of its former executives, chairman Brian Branker to court claiming a breach of fiduciary duties on their part by allowing it to pump billions of dollars into the real estate transaction which was executed by BAICO and British American Isle of Venice in January 2008 for the purchase price of US$295 million.
Duprey and Branker were ordered by Judge Erik P Kimball of the United States Bankruptcy Court in the South District of Florida on July 31 to each pay BAICO US$61,318,225, a total of US$122,636,450.
Court documents stated that the companies had pursued the land transaction that resulted in a loss allegedly exceeding $100 million.
This loss was a primary cause of the insolvency of the companies and their multi-national insolvency proceedings. It went on to state that Duprey was provided with due process in that he was personally served with process at the start of the case in January 2012 and the next month, he, through counsel, moved the court to dismiss the original complaint for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. However, this application was denied by the court in February 2013.
The order denying the motion to dismiss was served on attorneys for Duprey on March 2 that year. He was given 14 days within which to file an answer, but failed to do so.
In August of that year, Duprey’s attorney withdrew from the case.
Nothing done with case Between then and 2015, the court had granted permission for the companies to amend their claim and these amended complaints were sent to Duprey’s residence in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
“In the ensuing two years, Mr Duprey did nothing at all with regard to this case. In contrast, during that time the companies were quite active. With defaults in hand against Mr Duprey and certain other parties allegedly central to the failed real estate transaction, the companies negotiated with a number of other defendants and entered into settlements for amounts far below the total damages allegedly suffered by the companies.
“Had the companies believed that they would have to go to trial against Mr Duprey, the marginal cost of going to trial against the settling defendants would have been low, significantly reducing the companies’ incentive to settle with them. During this time the companies participated in extensive discovery with other defendants.
“But, because Mr Duprey had been defaulted, the companies served no discovery on Mr Duprey relating to his involvement in the subject real estate transaction,” court documents stated.
The documents further stated that in October 2015, having finalised negotiations with other defendants and finding themselves ready to conclude this case, the companies properly and timely filed the Motion for Judgment against Duprey and Branker.
Three weeks later, more than two years after his prior counsel was permitted to withdraw in 2013, replacement counsel for Duprey filed notices of appearance.
Duprey then filed a response to the Motion for Judgment and also filed the Motion to Vacate.
He argued that the Court should either dismiss the amended complaint or vacate the clerk’s default because the companies allegedly failed to properly serve him with the amended summons. He had also argued that his inactivity between 2013 and 2015 was not willful because he was 81 years old and his counsel withdrew from this case, and thus he did not realise he had an obligation to respond to the original complaint after denial of his motion to dismiss or to the amended complaint. Liable for damages However, that Motion to Vacate was also eventually denied and the companies’ Motion for Default Judgment granted.
But the court said even though the amended complaint well pleaded with regard to the claims against Duprey and Branker, it stated that the amended complaint did not present a specific request for damages.
The court said it was appropriate to require the companies to present evidence on the issue of damages and to permit Duprey and Branker to contest that evidence.
In the end, the court found that the Motion for Judgment should be granted in part, ruling that Duprey and Branker shall be held liable for damages.
The Express was unable to confirm yesterday if the court’s ruling had been appealed.

If those tax rates are based upon discussions with large US companies on what it would take to return capital currently held offshore, the offshore centres may be in for difficult times. Canadian companies may also prefer to pay 15% in the USA than nothing in countries classified as tax havens by developed countries.

That’s the impression one California writer had about America’s heartland. Leah Singer never imagined that she would end up in Trump Country… but when she moved to Indiana not long ago, her entire perception changed.
In an editorial piece published last weekend in the Indianapolis Star, the author sent a clear message to liberal friends back in California and throughout the country: You might be wrong about “red states.”
As a “California girl,” the writer explained that the left-leaning west coast sees itself as a bastion of “diversity,” but Singer hinted that it was less of a paradise for anybody who didn’t parrot the liberal talking points.
“I was raised in California, where we like to believe diversity is applauded and opportunities abound,” she explained. “In many ways, California’s blue state bubble can be a very safe place to live if you subscribe to the popular liberal politics.”
In other words, it was diverse only if you thought and talked the same as everyone else, which kind of defeats the point. Regardless, Singer was a bit apprehensive about starting her new life in a conservative region.
“Over and over, I was questioned about why I would ever leave the Golden State for a ‘flyover’ red state. This phrase alone troubled me, and the implied perception that one flies over the Midwest just to get to their East or West coast home,” she stated.
Like sheltered people naively asking about a faraway land they’ve only vaguely heard about, the writer’s west coast friends had a lot of curiosity about how things were in America’s heartland.
“As I settled into life in the Midwest, I heard the same assumptive questions: ‘Did everyone you know vote for Donald Trump?’ ‘Are there African-American, Jewish, Asian, LGBTQ people in Indiana?’ ‘Do people make fun of you for listening to National Public Radio?’” Singer recalled.
The coastal transplant quickly realized that her past impressions of conservative America were nowhere near the reality.
“As I got to know my new Midwest home, I realize how living in a bubble and subscribing to the Middle America stereotypes is truly damaging to this country,” she explained.
“Never does one ask how the Indiana public schools provide many opportunities that have been cut from California’s public schools because of one budget crisis after another,” Singer continued.
“Never does one ask about the low cost of living that is allowing us to pay off the mountain of debt we accrued in California. And never does one ask about my fellow community members, who are running successful businesses, enriching the city’s arts and making a difference for the local environment.”
She noticed something that “enlightened” coastal liberals often ignore: Places such as California may not be as truly diverse as they pretend to be.
“Southern California is diverse racially and religiously; it really is not with respect to class or working poor,” the writer revealed.
“This is especially the case in San Diego County, where it’s becoming more difficult for middle-class families to own a home or afford rent, with 41% of homeowners and 57% of renters spending 30% or more of income on housing, all while incomes stay stagnant, according to the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.”
In simple terms, many places in liberal enclaves have become so expensive to live that economic diversity is a thing of the past. It’s a bit like pretending that a gated community where everyone is a doctor or lawyer and drives a BMW is “diverse” — different racial boxes may be checked but it’s all a bit boring.
In the end, Singer’s positive experience with the midwest helped her realize that many coastal elites purposely bury their heads in the sand when it comes to real diversity within the United States.
“(H)ow many of these people travel within their own country to get to know the ‘other?’ Why travel the globe, but not make an effort to get to know your Midwest neighbor?” the author asked.
“Living in Indiana, I now have an understanding of America that I did not before. I wish more people living outside the middle took the time to get to know the others living a few states away. I did, and I am a better person because of it,” she concluded.
She may not completely realize it, but Singer has stumbled upon an important fact. Liberal obsession with diversity often shuns true multiculturalism — a variety of opinions, thoughts and political stances — and instead focuses on the “feel good” categorization of irrelevant traits like skin color.
In many of the most important ways, conservative areas of the country are advancing while liberal neighborhoods face major problems.
Thankfully, people like Singer are having their eyes opened once they actually escape their bubble… and they’re realizing what conservatives have known for decades: Small town America might be on to something after all.
He had also argued that his inactivity between 2013 and 2015 was not willful because he was 81 years old

GETTING TO KNOW THE REAL JOHN MCCAIN

This is John McCain’s home in Arizona. Not bad for a man who worked in the
military, left the military, and then ran for Congress. He has been in
Congress since 1983… for 34 years.
McCain graduated 894th in his class of 899 students from the Naval Academy. He
was known for being wild and it usually revolved around women. He was a
member of a group of students who called themselves “The Bad Bunch”.
He married Carol Shepp who was a successful swimsuit model. She had been
married to one of his classmates and had two children from her first
marriage. She and McCain became parents for a daughter one year later.
He had been quite a playboy and was already becoming bored with the
domesticated life. He requested active duty in Vietnam. While he was
there, Carol faithfully stayed at home looking after the children and
waiting anxiously for news about her husband. His plane was shot down in
1967 and he became a POW.
On Christmas Eve 1969, Carol and the children were spending the holiday
with her parents. After dinner she was going to take gifts to some
friends. The road was icy and she slid head-on into a telephone pole.
She was thrown from the car through the front window. Her legs, spine,
and right arm were crushed and she was in the hospital for 6 months.
Ross Perot was an advocate of POW’s and he paid her medical bills. She
requested that John not be told because she felt he already had enough
to deal with.
McCain was released in 1973 and returned home to much fanfare. Carol had
several surgeries, lost 5 inches in height, and gained some weight..
McCain told reporters he was overjoyed to see Carol again. But friends
say privately he was ‘appalled’ by the change in her appearance.
As a war hero, McCain was moving in ever-more elevated circles. “He
started carousing and running around with women.”, reported Robert
Timberg. Bob Timberg was a retired Marine, an American journalist,
writer, and author of four books, including THE NIGHTINGALE’S SONG and
JOHN MCCAIN: AN AMERICAN ODYSSEY.
McCain admitted he started having many girlfriends and affairs during this
time. On one trip to Hawaii he met an Anheuser Busch distributer
heiress, Cindy Hensley, at a cocktail party. She was 17 years younger
than McCain and worth $100 million dollars. He invited her to have
drinks with him at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. He said by the end of the
evening he was in love.
They had an affair for nine months while he was still married to and living
with his wife Carol. McCain wanted to marry Cindy but needed first to
get a divorce. He and Carol separated in January 1980. He requested a
divorce in February, the divorce was sped along and granted in April. He
and Cindy married 5 weeks after the divorce was final on May 17, 1980.
Carol and their children were devastated. McCain callously left his
first wife and children behind. He and Cindy moved to Arizona. Cindy’s
father was well-connected and helped McCain move smoothly into Congress
representing Arizona in Washington DC.
McCain’s new wife and her family were extravagantly wealthy. Her father was one
of the largest distributors of Anheuser Busch in the country and she was
an only child. The divorce settlement afforded Carol McCain full
custody of their three children, alimony, child support, including
college tuition, houses in Virginia and Florida, and lifelong financial
support for her continuing medical treatment from the car accident.
Carol said the reason for the divorce was John turned 40 and he wanted to be
25 again. Carol was extremely hurt. She went to work as the press
assistant for soon-to-be First Lady Nancy Reagan. She became loved and
respected in Washington. She kept a dignified silence about the
horrendous way McCain had treated her.
Some of the McCain friends were less forgiving, however. They portray the
politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his
crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling
on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.
Despite his popularity as a politician, there are those who have not forgotten
his treatment of his first wife. Ted Sampley, who fought with US Special
Forces in Vietnam is now a leading campaigner for veterans’ rights.
Ted said, “I have been following John McCain’s career for nearly 20 years. I
know him personally. There is something wrong with this guy and let me
tell you what it is… deceit.
“When he came home and saw that Carol was not the beauty he left behind, he
started running around on her almost right away. Everybody around him
knew it. Eventually he met Cindy and she was young, beautiful, and very
wealthy. McCain just dumped Carol for something he thought was better.
“This is a guy who makes such a big deal about his character. Yet he has no character. He is a fake.”
Ross erot, who paid her medical bills all those years ago, now believes
that both Carol McCain and the American people have been taken in by a
man who is unusually slick and cruel, even by the standards of modern
politics.
Mr. Perot said, “McCain is the classic opportunist. He’s always reaching for attention and glory.
After he came home, Carol walked with a limp. So he threw her over for a
poster girl with big money from Arizona. And the rest is history.
A man who cannot be faithful to a loving, self-sacrificing wife cannot be trusted to be faithful to the American people.
Cindy has also had to learn the lessons about her husband the hard way. Even
though she and McCain put on a perfect front for the public, especially
when he is running for office, she really is an invisible wife to him.
Tom Gosinski, who served as director of Cindy McCain’s nonprofit American
Voluntary Medical Team (AVMT) wrote in his journal about the McCain
marriage:
“During my short tenure at AVMT I have been surrounded by what on the surface
appears to be the ultimate all-American family. In reality, I am working
for a very sad, lonely woman. Her marriage of convenience to a U.S.
Senator has driven her to distance herself from friends, cover feelings
of despair with drugs, and replace lonely moments with self-indulgences.
She became addicted to Percocet and had a doctor prescribing them for
her illegally. When her parents learned she was taking them, they helped
her stop.
Washington rumors were saying McCain had an inappropriate relationship with the
young and lovely lobbyist, Vicki Iseman. Ms. Iseman began visiting
McCain’s offices and campaign events so frequently in 2000 that his
aides were “convinced the relationship had become romantic”. One staff
member supposedly asked, “Why is she always around?” His staff members
began a campaign to “save McCain from himself” by restricting Iseman’s
access to McCain during the course of the 2000 presidential primary.
According to the Washington Post, McCain’s political advisor John Weaver
met with Iseman at Washington’s Union Station to tell Iseman not to see
McCain anymore.
It is not a real marriage between John and Cindy McCain. Real marriages
usually involve living together. McCain and Cindy have not “lived”
together for 20 years. To defend this, McCain brags the family takes two
vacations together every year and Ms. McCain is the one who has always
made that happen.”
Two vacations per year…What a farse and fake!! Nothing about this man is
real. He has no compassion or empathy for anyone except himself. The
only real thing emotion he is capable of is anger. He is famous for his
anger.
His father and grandfather were both decorated Navy Admirals. He was given
special privileges and extreme preferential treatment while he served in
the Navy. He was a pilot but according to his colleagues he was a very
bad pilot. He actually crashed three planes. There was a horrendous
incident that happened on his aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Forrestal,
that killed 134 men. There has been a debate since the incident with
some being convinced John McCain was responsible for this accident.
Others are angry about anyone who would dare speak against a Naval
officer and embarrass an entire branch of service.
Many witnesses have reported that McCain was guilty of a “wet start”. When a
pilot wants to be a show off, with a “wet start” his engine start
creates a large startling flame and lots of surprise noise from the rear
of a jet engine on start up. McCain did the “Wet Start”. It was not an
accident. The flames from the wet start torched off the launching of a
powerful Zuni rocket on the plane behind him. The Zuni rockets were
famous for having electrical problems. It shot across the carrier’s deck
hitting other parked planes that were packing 1,000 high-explosive
pound bombs. This caused the bombs to explode. The subsequent massive
explosions, fire and destruction went several decks below and nearly
sunk this major 82,000 ton U.S. aircraft carrier.
This
stunt and aftermath caused the death of 134 sailors and blew off arms,
legs, and caused blindness and burns to another 161 sailors. McCain
jumped from his plane, rolled across the flames, and escaped. He watched
the men dying and the burning from a closed circuit television on the
ship. Sadly all of those lives were lost.
They
had to take the ship off the battle line for 2 years when it had to be
taken back to port for $76 million dollars of extensive repairs. That
does not include the cost of replacing the airplanes or ammunition.
Other
Navy pilots causing this type of death and destruction would have been
arrested and would probably still be in prison. Why didn’t this happened
to John McCain?
McCain’s
grandfather was a famous FOUR STAR Navy admiral and his dad, at the
time of the incident, was also a powerful illustrious FOUR STAR Navy
admiral. McCain had graduated from the Naval Academy. Witnesses say the
good ole boy Navy tradition went into high gear immediately. McCain was
not even repremanded. When there is a cover-up, the soldier is usually
simply assigned to another ship. McCain was quietly assigned to another
ship. There is an ongoing debate about the incident to this day.
John
McCain’s lack of character was further demonstrated when he voted not
to repeal Obamacare. He had run his 2016 Senatorial race under the
banner he would LEAD the fight to repeal Obamacare. He hates Donald
Trump so very much he gleefully held his thumb down for his vote rather
than a thumbs up. He laughed afterwards and said, “Let’s see Donald
Trump save America now!”
What
a horrible man. He stabbed his constituents and the citizens of America
in the back. Liberal socialists now call him their hero.
McCain
has recently discovered he has a brain tumor. I am genuinely sorry for
anyone who has to face a health issue especially when it involves
cancer. Thankfully for him the doctors have said it is curable. The fact
that he now has a brain tumor does not change the horrendous things he
has done in his life because of his extremely low flawed character.
If
Senator McCain’s own health care was dependent on the Obamacare he has
continued to saddle the American people with, I guarantee he would not
have voted thumbs-down. But because he married a wealthy heiress and has
plenty of money to take care of his own health needs, he does not care.

The Media’s Unrelenting Bias Against Trump

From Charlottesville to Hurricane Irma, the liberal media are determined to leverage the tragedy of the day to inflame the American people against President Trump. In Irma’s wake, CNN decided to shift coverage from the hurricane’s havoc to politics, attacking the president’s stance on climate change. One CNN headline read: “Trump dismisses climate change questions by contradicting himself on hurricanes.”
After Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Houston, MSNBC criticized Trump for visiting the city too soon — despite blaming President George W. Bush for visiting New Orleans too late after Hurricane Katrina. Other outlets blasted first lady Melania Trump for wearing high heels on the plane to Houston (she changed into sneakers on the ground). I don’t recall the same media outrage at Michelle Obama for sending fundraising emails during Hurricane Sandy or wearing $540 shoes to a food bank.
But let’s be honest: Who really believes the media would be satisfied by anything when it comes to this White House? And that’s the problem.
After the deadly Charlottesville attack, mainstream news outlets attacked the president for not condemning white supremacy fast enough or strong enough, despite doing so the same day and on several occasions in the days that followed. A typically biased CNN headline described his initial statement on Charlottesville — which condemned “hatred, bigotry and violence” — as “incredibly unpresidential.” Presumably, President Obama’s refusal to condemn radical Islam after numerous terrorist attacks — from Benghazi to Orlando — was incredibly presidential.
Throughout coverage of the blistering anti-speech riots in Berkeley and Boston, Trump unfairly took heat for blaming the rise in violence on “many sides,” which is technically true but uncomfortable for liberals to hear.
The liberal media perpetuate political bias so forcefully and unrelentingly, it’s gone from subtle background noise to the entirety of their narrative. Is it any wonder Americans have record-high distrust for the mainstream media?
As conservatives have argued for decades, the overwhelming majority of journalists are liberal. Less than 10 percent of journalists are registered Republicans. Of course, there’s nothing inherently wrong with editorializing liberal or conservative viewpoints — open debate is a social good — unless you portray yourself as an objective reporter of the news and not on the opinion pages.
Politically vocal journalists have increasingly become overtly biased faux-journalists shredding their own credibility. This was best articulated in last December’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” segment featuring Liz Spayd, the New York Times’ public editor, who acknowledged many of her colleagues “go over the line” covering Trump.
Editorial bias is even more overt. A recent glance at the New York Times’ opinion page found an editorial smearing Trump as “foolish” and an op-ed column calling him “hateful.” Another accused the president of “betray(ing) historic U.S. values.” In 2016, more than 240 editorial boards endorsed Hillary Clinton, compared to Trump’s 19 endorsements.
At the same time, the liberal media not-so-subtly frames stories to reinforce their “#HateTrump” narrative. Consider two recent Harvey-related headlines. ABC News headlined: “Trump thanks Texas officials for hurricane response, barely addresses victims.” CNN followed suit: “Trump wins praise in Texas, but keeps empathy at bay.”
In both cases, there was no need for a qualifier — President Obama wouldn’t have received one. But those few words, in headlines and sprinkled throughout a story, reinforce the negative bias journalists wish to convey.
This covert framing goes even further: The rampant inclusion of unverified facts and sources and the exclusion of verified ones. Just consider CNN’s retracted story falsely connecting former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci to the Senate’s Russia investigations. Three journalists involved lost their jobs. Many Russia-related stories have relied exclusively on unverified documents or anonymous sources, while others have omitted key evidence to support Trump’s position. Countless 2016 coverage failed to include Hillary Clinton’s ties to Russia, including her husband’s $500,000 speech in Moscow paid for by an investment bank “with links to the Kremlin.”
Free speech and a free press are essential to a vibrant democracy. But the liberal media far too often resembles a collection of rabid mouthpieces spouting more rabid bias — because they understand it sells. Ironically, the same charge the mainstream media endlessly levies against outsider news outlets — that websites like Breitbart or the Daily Caller only cater to clicks — applies to them on a much broader scale. That’s why we continue to hear about the alleged and wholly unsubstantiated Russia collusion story, or how all racism everywhere is now the president’s fault, or the great horror that is women’s fashion in a hurricane zone.
Our largest newspapers and most-watched cable networks cannot credibly extol their essential function while simultaneously abandoning it for rabid anti-Trumpism — and then complain when Americans stop trusting the media.

Officials urged to clean up rolls or face legal consequences

Another 247 counties have the same problem, prompting the Public Interest Legal Foundation to send letters to officials, warning them to clean up their voter rolls or face legal consequences.
PILF explained to the counties that “federal law requires election officials to conduct a reasonable effort to maintain voter registration lists free of dead voters, ineligible voters, and voters who have moved away.”
But these counties show they have “significantly more voters on the registration rolls than it has eligible, living, citizen voters.”
There are 11 more Alabama counties with the problem: Macon, Perry, Greene, Wilcox, Hale, Marengo, Dallas, Conecuh, Choctaw, Clarke and Washington.

Kentucky has 41 counties with more voters than residents, Michigan 32, Iowa 31, Illinois 22, Mississippi 19, Colorado 17, Texas 12, Alabama 12, South Dakota 12, Nebraska 9, Georgia 6, New York 6, West Virginia 6, New Mexico 5, North Carolina 5, California 2, Louisiana 2, Montana 2, Virginia 2, Arizona 1 and Florida 1.
The letter asks for information about the counties’ procedures for verifying voters.
“It is our hope that your county will work quickly to provide for inspection of all records relating to your list maintenance practices. … If not, according to federal law, a lawsuit under the NVRA may be filed within 90 days after the failure to permit inspection or failure to provide the documents.”
PILF President J. Christian Adams explained said that during the 2016 election, 24 states had “bloated voter rolls.”
“Voter fraud begins with corrupted voter rolls. Our nation’s voter rolls have records that cannot be distinguished between living or dead; citizen or alien; resident or relocated. We hear about possible cyber-attacks, but we aren’t doing enough to fix voter rolls that are certainly corrupt,” he said.
“The voter rolls are so bad in some states that election officials would have a hard time telling the difference between sabotage and negligence.”
The Public Interest Legal Foundation explained it has a record of bringing litigation against counties and locales with bloated voter rolls resulting in settlements and consent decrees that are intended to maintain the integrity of that information.
PILF explained that if a local official fails to respond or declines to allow inspection of election records, he risks a federal lawsuit.
WND recently reported when it was found that more than 6,000 people used out-of-state driver’s licenses to vote in New Hampshire last November.
Trump claimed in February that out-of-state voters tipped the New Hampshire election, both against him and incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte. The Boston Globe at the time dismissed his allegation as “groundless.”
But the vast majority of the 6,000 voters have neither obtained an in-state license nor registered a motor vehicle since the November vote, according to an inquiry by Republican Speaker of the New Hampshire House Shawn Jasper, the Washington Times reported.
Hillary Clinton defeated Trump in New Hampshire by 2,736 votes while Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan defeated Ayotte by 1,017 votes.
The records from the New Hampshire Department of State, which oversees elections, and the Department of Safety show 6,540 people voted using out-of-state licenses. But as of Aug. 30, only 1014, about 15 percent, had been issued New Hampshire driver’s licenses.
Of the remaining 5,526, only 3.3 percent had registered a motor vehicle in New Hampshire.
The Times said 196 people today are being investigated for voting illegally both in New Hampshire and in other states.
Adams obtained voter-registration records from eight of Virginia’s 133 cities and counties, discovering 1,046 illegal aliens were illegally registered to vote.
John Fund, author of several books on election fraud, told WND in March the Obama administration created an environment for vote fraud to thrive.
“When it comes to illegal votes,” he said, “we need to end the Obama administration’s consistent refusal to cooperate with states on allowing access to records of legal foreigners, illegal aliens and the Justice Department’s refusal to require states to maintain clear voter lists if they accept federal funds for voting purposes.
Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of the Houston, Texas-based vote-monitoring nonprofit True the Vote, told WND “no one knows how many noncitizens are voting, because under the Obama administration, attempts to find answers were blocked at every turn.”

The original Three Stooges were funny. Today’s Three Stooges are just pitiful.
They’re bitter because they failed. So they’re doing everything they can to make Trump – who succeeded – be a failure like them. I can live with that. It’s politics. Sour grapes. If you’re a loser you try to pull others down.
What I can’t live with is that they all lied to the people who put them in office. Lyin’ Ted. Lyin’ Rand. Lyin’ John. Each of these liars promised the people who worked for them and donated to their campaigns that they would do everything in their power to repeal the disaster called ObamaCare.
Instead, they have all announced that they will vote AGAINST the Republican bill to repeal the bill – which not one single Republican voted for. It was rammed down our throats by Obama and the Democrats. So what does that make these stooges?
McCain has always been a RINO (Republican In Name Only). He has helped the Democrats more than some of the moderate Democrats. Rand Paul doesn’t even call himself a Republican. He says he’s a Libertarian. So why does he run as a Republican? Ted Cruz is just a grandstander desperate for attention. When he saw that the bill was going to fail, he jumped on board with the other stooges so the spotlight would be on him. I have met his father – a good man who was born in Cuba and is a staunch Conservative. I imagine he is very ashamed of his son today.
What will the result of their betrayal be? Millions of Americans who have lost health insurance because of Obama will not be able to get a policy. Millions more who have insurance will lose it because of rising costs. The quality of care will continue to decline, because even though people have ObamaCare policies, the deductibles are so high that they can’t afford to use them. And, yes, people will die because of this shameful vote.
Staff of the state-owned Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation are currently off the job.

On the former, a story surfaced appearing to be an interview with Mr. Horner. He was described as a former Secret Service agent who had written a book to expose “the real truth” about Barack Obama. The fake story said that Mr. Horner was “one-hundred-percent positive that President Obama is not only gay, but a radical Muslim as well.”
