Today in the Nation newspaper there is a photo and caption concerning the situation in Venezuela…With the likes of David Comissiong and other left leaning individuals fully backing a worldwide known government that has so totally failed a once prosperous and potential country, that it is now used in major Universities all over the world as a model of failure.

I hardly think Comissiong is really aware of what is happening in Venezuela…its so easy to lay back totally removed from reality and spout garbage that sounds good, which helps to elevate his status and make for more conversation when he attends cocktail functions.

I know because I have family there who tell me the truth about nothing on supermarket shelves for days…items that were once all Venezuelan made now being imported, a crime rate that would make wars a walk in the park, a total disregard of freedom of speech, false accusations and imprisonment…etc.

Mr.Comissiong you are a true coward who hides behind words and manipulation for your own self-fulfilment and agenda

There are still three days remaining of the time Bushie promised David to ease up on cussing you….
    Have fun
…but rest assured the the day that Bushie’s ideas start to make any kinda sense to you….will be the final sign of the second coming of Christ…

  3. “Why u BT shaming balance” thanks Ac but he shaming heself always arguing all over the place like poonka even against his own points

  4. It would be great if you guys debate the issues and leave the ‘pissin’ contest to the children.

  5. Steupsss @ balance
What exactly did you think it was that gives you the right to pick at everyone else – under the guise of bringing “balance”…and then can’t take a small dose of your own medicine?

Can’t imagine what you would do if Bushie were to really turn the screws…

See why Bushie likes Caswell so much….?
Not a boy can cuss Caswell enough to move him from his chosen path…..

  6. @ @ David
But boss, there are no “issues” to be debated.

Hal made the obvious point that an indigenous bank is a vital necessity if we expect to facilitate savings and lending to locals in a manner that promotes development and growth….

    ….then balance started the contest… 🙂

  7. “I know I promised to leave this discussion, since it is generally uninformative”
Hate to say it Hal but the above comment smells of arrogance; associated with a kind of spoiled child syndrome.

” What I am saying is that if banks are not lending the regulator should intervene”
At the risk of having my comment labelled as uninformative; may I respectfully ask if you are suggesting that the BNB could have performed a regulatory role. gather your thoughts my friend.

@David – you have family living in Venezuela but do you go there to see for yourself. I have been visiting there for the last nine years at least 3 times a year. It is my favourite vacation spot I love the people the way of life. I have seen what Chavez did for those poor people. A lot of what is going on was started by pure American propaganda. If there was no oil in Venezuela, none of this would be happening. America will back the opposition leader – he got his education there he is Americanized, what do you expect. Barbados has gone no where since the last 20 years, look at the development in Venezuela for the last 20 years and see the difference, they have grown by leaps and bounds. I stand behind Maduro 100 %. Our welfare system gives a cheque for maybe $180 – 200 amonth, Chavez government gives a voucher that is worth about $1,000. plus their water and light bill is paid for. Some days transportation is free even when you travel on the trains, give Maduro a chance

  9. @Bush Tea

Then let us discuss some other issues and leave balance and ac to wallow in their lovefest.

The value of a debate which you must know BT is that both sides to the discussion gets something out of it.There is no place for intransigence.

If a country is not pro-Western or prefers to be non-aligned it seems it becomes difficult proposition to coexist with the USA and allies.

THIS IS TOTALLY UNSCRIPTURAL AND FALSE AND IRRESPONSIBLE!

  12. @ GP
    Oh Shoot!
…forgot that you may be checking in on this thread GP

    Bushie stands corrected!
It was unscriptural, and irresponsible, …but how do you know that it is false….?
…beside um sound sweet as shirt…!

  13. @ Pretty BE
Is it so SURPRISING that a country FLOATING pun OIL can afford to subsidise their populace with a larger cheque than poor lil Bdos without a major natural resource???

Why are the people in Ven poor in the first place?

Are you aware that Chavez / Maduro’s incompetent management has cost Ven a very large portion of their FOREX from Oil?

There is only 1 or 2 countries in Latin Am that are properly run anyway —Costa Rica and Chile! The Spanish seem to have left very substandard Political Systems behind.

IT IS FALSE BECAUSE AC WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER UNDERSTAND ANYTHING BUSHIE SAYS

THE WOMAN HAS THE SYMPTOMS OF A NEW DEMENTIA WORSE THAN ALZSHIEMER’S

  15. Why does everyone has to inmediatly judge anyone opposing Chavez government failure as a pro-USA individual? like if this world is black and white only. I as a Venezuelan that has lived there, has family there and know first hand what is going on can tell you that Venezuelans are tired to be considere either pro-Usa or pro-Cuba, we want to be pro-Venezuela with self determination without any monkey trying to come and influence us, As for the oil, USA is welcome to come and carry as much as they can once they pay the price as well as any other country for that matter.
To hell with Castro, USA communism and all this nonsense bs. We are Venezuelan and just want to be that. Don’t let this puppet show government wash your brain with that bs.
