Tell me how is it that a God that is perfect,just, true, honest and all things good create a human race and within that human race creates some above others? Why is it that some are “chosen” to me more special that they have their own special “homeland.” What happened to black folks man. Didn’t the good book said to be angry and sin not. How can you live in the unjust, ungodly world and not be angry. Do you know why evil prevails? because “good” men sit idly by and do nothing.    Yes, some points that you make are true, however we must always be able to separate the ‘trees’ from the jungle, otherwise we get very distored perceptions on reality.

   The following is an edited version of a brief but concise (4) part series I did a while ago on ‘Israel’ drawing from the Biblical account of Israel, confirmed by sound historical varacity.

   “Now the Lord had said to Abraham: Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” (Gen. 12: 1-3).

   God’s plan from the beginning of redemptive history has been global. God’s work in Abram’s (Abraham’s) life wil be so evident throughout Old Testament history, individuals and nations who blessed Abraham’s descendants (Jew/Israeli) were blessed by God; those who persecuted them, God cursed.

   The biblical and historical evidence for this solemn, sovereign, unconditional and irrevocable Covenant, made and declared by Almighty God to Abraham and his descendants (the Jews), from that moment in history (Gen. 12: 1-3), and to this day, no matter how much it is scoffed at, ridiculed, mocked and called preposterous; can only be denied against the hard facts by those who are Scripturally, historically and intellectually dishonest; in light of their (the Jews) re-gathering to their ancient homeland after 2000 years of dispersion throughout the nations of the world, exactly as foretold by God’s Divinely inspired prophets in the Old Testament.

   The rebirth of the nation of Israel occured in 1948, and is one of the twin miracles of the twentieth century. Hal Lindsey in his great work, “Everlasting Hatred, The Roots of Jihad” writes:

   “Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, while on his Palestinian campaign, asked one of his generals, ‘Can you give me proof that the Bible is the Word of God?’ He replied, “Your majesty, the Jew. Against all historical precedence, he (the Jew) has survived centuries of dispersion and yet has remained a distinct people- a nation in exile though scattered over the entire world and terribly persecuted, just as the Hebrew prophets predicted he would be, patiently waiting the promised return to the land of his fathers.” (p.13, Napoleon 1798).

   That the Abrahamic Covenant is unconditional, is based on God’s declarration of FOUR direct and THREE irrevocable ‘I WILLS’- This is the God of historic divine revelation, the God of the Bible, and is entirely consistent with His manner of expressing an unconditional promise.

   The first unconditional promise made by God to Abraham, was:

   “I will make you A GREAT NATION” (Gen. 12:2) emphasis added.

   Implicit in that promise is a son (Isaac) through whome this nation (Israel) would be created. Also implicit is the ‘land promised (Canaan), since you cannot have a NATION, without A LAND- God also promised very personal blessings to Abraham.

   “I will bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing…” (v.2).

   Promises That Anticipated Anti-Semitism.

   Almighty God in His Omniscience knew the vile, sordid, ugly hatred that would develop for the Jews, beginning way back in the patriarchal era, and therefore, in His ‘I WIILS’ clearly anticipated the Santanic malevolence that would be specifically directed at Abraham and his descendants, through whom God’s mission of redemption to the world would come, and would logically therefore be singled out as prime targets by the father of all ‘lies’ and evil, the Devil. that Anti-Semitism has been a relentless fact of history, simply cannot be denied.

   Therefore, God, in His Covenantal declaration with Abraham, said:

   “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you…” (v.3a).

   On this Lindsey comments thus:

   “Abraham and his Divinely chosen line of descendants through Isaac and Jacob, have been consistently persecuted. There is a mystical quality behind the intensity of the hatred toward the Israelites. This is especially true of the descendants of the Southern Kingdom that is composed of the tribes of Benjamin and Levi. They were first called “Jews” while in Babylonian captivity. The name ‘Jew’ was derived from the name of their geographic origin, Judea.” (Ibid., p.17).

   Lindsey then goes on to correctly assert:

   “The Jew have been singled out for a special hatred since they were driven into global exile after the destruction of Israel in 70 A.D. The name ‘Jew’ has come to be indiscriminately applied to the survivors of all twelve tribes of Israelites in recent centuries.” (Ibid., p.17).

   None of this diabolical, inhuman hatred can be understood nor grasped, unless and until one understand the one, the Word of God, the Bible, calls ‘..the god of this age,’ none other than Satan himself, who is behind the annihilation of the ‘Jews’ and their God given land, the state of Israel. As Lindsey puts it:

   “Any objective study of the irrational outbreaks of hatred all over the world toward the Israelites- their mindless slaughter in every century – will reveal that there is a malevolent spiritual force behind it all.” (Ibid., p.18).

   The promise of God “I will bless those who bless you…” (v.3a), No doubt has irked and provoked even further hatred for the Jews, but the hard historic reality of this Divine declaration, witnessed by individuals, groups, and nations, that have sought to help Abraham and his descendants in their time of need, have all been blessed by God.

   There is no doubt whatsoever, that the United States have come under severe terrorist plots, and continue to be held in contempt by Arabic radical fundamentalist, primarily because the USA has stood for Israel’s survival as a Nation, since rebirth in 1948. I resolutely believe this is one of the main reasons God blessed America. But as Lindsey says, with which I concur:

   “…as we will see, our (America’s) attitude toward Israel is changing, to the peril of our nation.” (Ibid., p.18).

   The re-birth of the Nation/State of Israel on 14th May, 1948, is the apex of the fulfillment and final consummation of biblical prophecy, that will usher in the Second Advent of Jesus Christ.

   Israel: A Miracle Nation!

   “This is what the LORD says, He who appoints the sun to shine by day, and who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the seas so that the waves roar – the LORD Almight is His name: Only if these decrees vanish from MY sight, declares the LORD, WILL THE DESCENDANTS OF ISRAEL EVER CEASE TO BE A NATION BEFORE ME.” (Jeremiah 31: 35-36) emphasis added.

   Let us contrast the above declaration by Jehovah, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to a statement made by the Founder of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud, who said:

   “We shall never call for or accept a negotiated peace. We shall only accept- JIHAD- holy war. We have resolved to drench the lands of Palestine (Israel) and Arabia with the BLOOD OF THE INFIDELS (Jews and Christians) or to accept martyrdom for the glory of Allah,” The Everlasting Hatred, The Roots of Jihad, p.209) emphasis added.

   This statement made by King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud, is just one of many other such like statements made by Arab Islamic leaders, demanding the extinction of the Jew and his God-given land, the State of Israel.

   The creation of the Nation of Israel (Gen. 12:1-3), and its continuity as a distinct people, literally for thousands of years, despite the vehement animosity and hatred carried out against them, simply and logically, cannot be explained apart from the Supernatural protection and providence of Almight God, on their behalf. Lindsey sums it up this way:

   “…the original birth and founding of the nation of Israel was a miracle.And its deliverance from Egypt was a miracle.And its continued survival through four all out wars- 1948-49, 1956, 1967, and 1973,all of which were lanched with the combined might of ISLAM for the express purpose of annihilating Israel and its people- is a miracle, too, do you begin to see the pattern?” (Ibid., p.211), emphasis added.

   Many have tried to explain Israel’s continued existence purely natural terms, but this is not only illogical, but down right senseless absurdity. The Muslims say it is because Israel has been supplied with so many modern weapons by the USA; but dishonestly failing to acknowledge that the Soviet Union, France, China, et al., have furnished the Muslims with sophisticated weapons as well.

   The Miracle of the 6 Day War of 1967.

   I will now cite historical and statistical evidence concerning the Israeli-Arab Islamic 6-Day War of 1967, from the ‘Encyclopedia of 7700 Illustrations, Signs of the Times.’ Let the facts speak for themselves.

   “Mrs. Golda Meir, former Prime Minister of Israel, said: ‘We Jews have a secret weapon in our struggle with the Arabs- WE HAVE NO PLACE TO GO.”

   The Threats.

   “Several weeks before the was of 1967, Egypt issued a postage showing Nasser (then President of Egypt) with a map of Israel in flames at his right hand. On May 18, 1967, Nasser demanded the withdrawal of UN forces from Sinai. The UN readily complied.

   Egypt then lined up 80,000 men, Syria 40,000; Jordan 40,000; Saudi Arabia 20,000; Iraq sent 5,000 troops to help Syria.

   On May 22nd, Nasser announched that the Gulf of Aqaba would be closed to Israeli shipping. Since Egypt had denied Israel’s use of the Suez Canal, the Port of Elath was Israel’s only port to the Red Sea, and closing of Aqaba threatened its survival.

   Before fighting started, the radio in Cairo announched: “Our people have been waiting 20 years for this battle. Now we will teach Israel the lesson of death! Nasser went on radio to say, that they war with Israel ‘Will be total, and the objective will be TO DESTROY ISRAEL.’ A Syrian army commander predicted Israel’ destruction in 4 days. Israel was hedged in on 3 sides by Arab forces OUTNUMBERED 20 to 1. (Ibid., p.641). emphasis added.

   Arming Egypt.

   “According to Newsweek, the most important factor in the start of the 1967 war, was the instillation of an estimated 60 new missile sites. All told, the Egyptians now have some 180 Soviet installed SAM-2 ground-to-air missiles and 240 of the more advanced SAM-3s. Egypt’s air defense has been further bolstered by a Soviet radar system along the Mediterrnean coast and by addition 50 new MIG-21s, giving Cairo an air force of 450 Soveit jets.”

   Beneath this air unbrella, the Russians have armed the 100,000 Egyptians troops along the canal with a vast array of modern weapons. This includes 750 Soveit-built tanks Czechoslovakian amphibious craft and perhaps as many as 1,000 artillery pieces. (Three dozen of these are the might Russian 203- millimeter howitzers, which can lob a 200-pound warhead on to Israel’s Bar Lev line from 18 miles inside Egyptian lines). There are also reports that the Egyptians have received Russian ‘Frog’ ground-to-ground misslies which can fire 800-pound warheads 30 to 40 miles. And stiffening the Egyptian ranks, there are some 12,000 Russians- half of them operational troops manning SAM-3 sites and MIG-21s..”

   Jerusalem Under Jewish Control for first Time in nearly 2600 years!

   “When Israeli radar picked up flights of enemy bombers, they launched a preemptive strike simultaneously against Egypt, Jordan and Syria, attacking 25 Arab air bases.. When the air was cleared 400 Arab warplanes were gone.”

   ‘With Israel in control of the air, it was no problem for its army to drive the Egyptians from Sinai and gain control of the Gupf of Aqaba.”

   “Disregarding UN cease-fire orders, Israeli troops went on to within 30 miles of Damascus. The hardest fighting however, took place against Jordan’s cracked Arab Legion. On the second day of the war, the Israelis took the Old City of Jerusalem. Then the Jordanians were driven east of the river Jordan, and the Israelis also advanced to the Dead Sea. The Arabs now called for a cease-fire. Jerusalem for the the first time in nearly 2600 years come under Jewish control.”

   Shortest War In History.

   “Between June 5 and 10, 1967, Israel won the “Shortest War in History.” All three ‘confrontation states’ of Egypt, Syria and Jordan were defeated. Israeli troops captured over $1 billion worth of Soviet-supplied armaments. Israeli army seized most of the Sinai Peninsula, the Jordanian sector of Jerusalem and all the West Bank region, plus the Golan Heights and the Gaza Strip.” (Ibid., p.642).

   This is just a brief look at some of the biblical and historic facts surrounding the most tormented, persecuted people in history, and their constant struggle against an ancient enemy, the ‘Arabs’ who want to deny them, their God given right to the land, covenanted to them by Almight God.

   Let us never forget, Almight God’d irrevocable Covenantal declaration to Abraham and his descendants; ‘I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you’ (Gen. 12:3a).

   HOPI, this is just a ‘glimmer’ of the historic evidence and facts concerning the Jewish people, and their land, the State of Israel.

    HOPI, come now man, are you going to exit the debate, just because the ‘facts’ don’t suit your mindset? That’s not the way to be!

    Regarding your earlier comments, I’d like to try and explain a few things, that you grossly misrepresented in your ‘blinded’ anger and obvious hatred, which must be an aweful ’emotional’ weight to carry around every day, it will destroy you man!!

    First, let me make myself abundantly clear, I have never read any book that says those stupid things, and have no regard for the ‘idiots’ that expound such utter bias against black people.

    Secondly, no where in the Bible, God’s Word, can you ever find any such teaching or doctrine against ‘black’ people, as there is NO such thing as ‘Black’ SIN, or ‘White’ SIN, or ‘Brown’ SIN, or ‘Yellow’ SIN, as SIN has NO colour, it permeates the entire human race, which found its way to ALL of us through Adam’s fall, in disobedience to one straightforward command.

    Hence, God pronounces His ‘Word’ to all mankind, regardless of ‘colour’ that:

    “The heart (all of mankind) is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jer. 17:9).

    Again in the New Testament, we hear God’s Word speaking to all of humanity:

    “For ALL (humanity) have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23).

    No one is exempt from this, Black, White, Brown and Yellow are ALL sinners; God does NOT deal with the colour of man’s skin, as our SKIN does NOT and cannot make choices, decisions, that comes from within the ‘soul’ of man which has NO colour.

    “For the wages (results) of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

    I don’t represent ‘colour’ or class, I try as far as God’s grace allows me to represent ‘Truth’ and TRUTH does not have any colour. If a man is ‘ignorant’ it has nothing to do with his colour, think this through HOPI!!

    Because God choose Abraham to create the Jewish race of people, does not mean in anyway that they are exempt from His judgements, and severe chastisement, which the Old Testament is replete with, for every time they disobeyed His commandments, statutes, etc, they felt His wrath time and time again, this is precisely why they were dispersed twice in the OT, and suffered terribly for their idolatry and hardness of heart. There were many wicked Jews, who will suffer eternal damnation like anyone else, both in the Old Testament, during the New Testament era, and right up until this present time. For God is NO respector of persons. His love, mercy and grace is extended and offered to all mankind, BUT, because we are so rebellious, we constantly refuse to heed His call to ‘Repentance’ and the Gift of eternal life.

    God choose the Jewish people to bring His plan of Redemption to all of mankind, for the most part, they as a Nation, rejected His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. But, His sovereign, unconditional promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, were never abrogated, because they must and will be fulfilled, exactly as His Word, the Bible states. And today, there are many Jews in the State of Israel that are still refusing, stubbornly, to heed His call.

    However, the recent restoration of the State of Israel, after 2000 years of terrible dispersion over the world, is a testimony to the fulfillment of His ‘Covenant’ promises to the ‘Nation’ of people, not to the individual Jew, who still has his/her volitional free will, to ultimately reject God’s mercy in Christ Jesus, just like the rest of us gentiles.

    Because they the Jews were chosen, does NOT make them individually special, in that they can do whatever they please, and will not feel the wrath of God, here and in the hereafter.

    Freedom HOPI, cannot be purchased with money, class or education.

    True ‘Freedom’ and ‘liberty’ can only be found in the Person of The Lord Jesus Christ.

    Seriously ponder these few things I’ve shared with you, for it has NOTHING to do with the colour of a man’s skin.

    Ok, you have coerced me to return me to your pew under much duress. You are constantly quoting the bible, but of preeminence to me is the fact that my history predates king james and his bible. The missionaries left their bible in Africa and took away the wealth and knowledge from our shamans and then killed them. Today, African people all over this planet is suffering because we are devoid of self-knowledge.

    You talk about the miraculous war of israel over the other Arab states – this was only achieved because of the support they got from the “mighty” US. Doesn’t sound like a miracle to me.

    You talk about centuries of dispersion of the jew – you could say the same thing for the Black man.

    And then think about the Anthrax attacks coming a week or so after 9/11. These anthrax laced letters, purportedly sent by Muslim terrorists, were seized on by the retired generals and various neocon operatives and mouthpieces on the mainstream media channels as further proof of Saddam’s and/or Al Quaida’s despicable and irrational blood lust and desire to bring death and destruction to America’s shores leaving innocent, “just minding my own business” Uncle Sam no option but to take immediate military action in its own defense.

    Reflections on PNAC

    For me the words “Project for the New American Century” (PNAC) bring many thoughts to mind, but they usually begin with a quote from a paper that the neoconservative think tank with this name published in 2000. This paper suggested that the New Order of the World, which the think tank envisioned, planned and achieved, would be difficult for American citizens to accept and that “the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event — like a new Pearl Harbor. …” Of course, this new Pearl Harbor was realized in the attacks of 9/11 and in its wake PNAC was able to mobilize and convince U.S citizens to support their ‘revolutionary’ policies. For the most part, I think, average people had not realized that the policies enacted IMMEDIATELY after 9/11 had been scripted and “perfected” in advance of this catastrophe. While Americans, with the helpful network news channels and pundits, believed they were reacting to an event, the neo-con elite were only realizing some very long term goals. PNAC has now, years after its advent, spawned cultural reactions. An activist group calling themselves “Project For A New American Citizen” has been working on a project called “Rebuilding Americas Senses” in response to the neo conservatives ‘proposals.’ But what are the sensibilities which need to be rebuilt and why?

    PNAC members serving on George W. Bush’s administration included Richard Armitage (Deputy Secretary of State) , Dick Cheney (VP) , Francis Fukuyama (leading intellectual and foreign policy advisor), Bruce Jackson (former Lockheed Martin VP), Scooter Libby (Chief of Staff to VP), Donald Rumsfeld (Secretary of Defense) , Paul Wolfowitz (Deputy Secretary of Defense), Jeb Bush (governor of Florida), Thomas Donnelly (Lockheed Martin director of communications.), William Kristol (former student of Neo Conservative forefather Leo Strauss), R. James Woolsey (former CIA director), and Vin Weber (Board member of National Public Radio.) The Usual Suspects.

    The think tank, established in 1997, advocated a return to Reagan based economic policies and fiercely sought American world dominance with equally fierce and antagonistic international military policies. One of their ultimate goals was to invade Iraq and oust Saddam Hussein, an action which they felt was incomplete after the Gulf War. PNAC advocated preemptive warfare, a doctrine which is antithetical to United States founding philosophy or ideological mythology and completely changed previous notions, albeit mythological ones, of U.S military Rules of Engagement. The genius of PNAC was that it was able to sell its policy of unprovoked warfare (read MURDER and GENOCIDE) by telling Americans and everyone else in the world, that these policies were meant to bring political and economic freedom to others. Incidentally, it is this policy, which current VP candidate unabashedly endorses but was unable to recognize as ‘The Bush Doctrine,’ which would be more accurately entitled the PNAC doctrine. That a grad student, and not a very good one at that, knows the intellectual and philosophical foundations of Palins’ own purported and supported policies, when she does not, is concerning to me, to say the least.

    The lofty goals which PNAC proposed called for a highly aggressive posturing in the affairs of other nations and are in response to a perceived international (read Middle Eastern) power vacuum after the Cold War. What ‘concerned’ PNAC domestically was not the thought of its own citizens lack of education and health care, nor was it the thought of economic sustainability and autonomy, but was the fear that American citizens, without the imminent threat of nuclear warfare and an EVIL SOVIET EMPIRE around which to rally national consciousness, would never support these policies. U.S citizens, it was decided, would need a worthy external enemy around which to rally and about whom to blame their ills, if PNAC was ever to enact its noble vision of the future. Enter Osama Bin Laden on stage right and Saddam Hussein on stage left.

    Back to 9/11 and the ‘demolition’ of the World Trade Centres…. including WTC 7, the third building that fell and no one seems to think about or remember. How could two identical towers, hit by commercial airliners in corners of the buildings, fall so perfectly flat to rubble without any collateral damage ? And the third building, which only had fired on 2 floors, and no major strike, also collapse perfectly without any major damage to surrounding buildings ??? All look like perfectly executed professional demolitions. The scenario we all saw on Discovery Channel and History Channel about the ‘pancake collapse’ theory, should have left the main steel columns standing. It would be very interesting if the 9/11 Commission would be reopened.
    America has a 10 Trillion dollar debt at present, much accumulated through the Iraq war. War is big business for those who finance the government to wage such campaigns, and it serves well to note how the US manages to get into these campaigns, usually the biggest originating with some “aggression” precipitating the entry into said wars… notably, Pearl Harbour, and the alleged attack of US warships by N. Vietnamese P.T Boats in the Gulf of Tonkin.

    The conspirators and the government are irrelevant to the 9/11 Affair after all of these years. This is now an issue of science and related to the Galileo Affair. Scientists celebrate Galileo but because of 9/11 they should stop.

    Galileo came up with the square-cube law. It is about the strength versus the size of a material and its weight. This is important to the design of skyscrapers. Since 9/11, 50 skyscrapers over 1000 feet tall have been constructed. This is not rocket science.

    If the north tower could collapse in less than 30 seconds scientists should have explained it in 2002. If it could not happen without more destructive forces involved than airliner impact and fire then they should have explained that in 2002. But instead we do not even have a table specifying the tons of steel and tons of concrete on every level of the towers. How could any skyscraper be designed without figuring that out?

    So scientists must put themselves on trial about 9/11. The Laws of Physics are watching.
