  3. You’re doing more for Barbados than all the foreign official big-ups. A perfect product of Charles F. Broome and Combermere. We’re sooooooo PROUD of you. Just NEVER lose your identity.

    |Boy again the stupidity of ignorant people with equally ignorant comments. Rihanna if you read this I am not a fan of yours I am just some one who stands in awe of you because you are a product of our little rock. Because of you many now know there is a place called Barbados. Because of you, scouts are coming to Barbados in search of more talent. Because of you big more big name celebrities will want and are coming to vacation here. Because of you, hope has increase in the hearts of many young aspiring Barbadians to reach their full potential and make their dreams a reality. Because of you, my overseas base friends want to know if I know you personally because of our small size (so funny). RIhanna it is alll because of you.

My only concern is that the religous order has propagated your umbrella song to be linked to the occult with much of video dance moves associated with occultic symbolism. If you are aware or not aware of this….I beckon you not to sell your soul to the devil. Money is one thing but it does not stop death and when that comes there is the judgement.

  7. G.Hill, I don’t know which planet you’re on, so if your not connected with the one that Rihanna and us are on, let me tell you. Our young ambassador, whenever the occasion arises “BIG UP” Barbados. In fact, on an interview in the U.S.A she was asked by the young lady who interviewed her, if she feels endepted to Jay-Z for bringing her from that impoverished island Barbados. Rihanna in a very matured diplomatic way put that girl in her place. At the end the girl’s eyes were watery. Overseas and you mention that you’re from Barbados, the next remark is ” Oh, you’re from Rihanna’s country. Even American children of Bajan parentage boost of their girl.Americans wants to claim her but she remains firmly BAJAN. Guyanese wants to claim her but she remains proudly BAJAN, yet with all that, there are you envious locals who downright hate the girl. I’m not a fan of her music, it’s more for the younger generation but she has her head screwed on in the right direction and her “mind is informed”. Let us as bajan encourage this lady and feel proud that she has placed and continues to place Barbados firmly on the world stage

  8. I don’t know ’bout you….but I wish this bajan diva the best in life. Just let pray that she keeps on the yellow brick road….all that lies ahead would only be the best. FOR ALL OF US!

  9. I’ve been informing you of the wonder of this lady’s talent for a long time, in the face of idiotic, criticism from Toronto and elsewhere. It’s comforting to see that Barbadians are finally, catching-up with Rihanna, me and the rest of the world! Where singing’s concerned – our girl is the absolute, best!

  10. Not so keen on this particular song, but you can’t surpass ‘good girl gone bad’ – the album! I think even Rihanna would agree!
