Israeli Palestinian Conflict – How many more…?

It is ironic one of the important Christian festivals on the calendar is being celebrated this weekend against the background of continuing conflict in the Middle East. It is reported Christianity started with a small group of Jewish origin in Judea. Ironic because Judea was located in the space occupied by Israel and Palestine; an area of decades of conflict. Many believers AND non-believers will justifiably ask – why has a region anchored in Christianity been unable to resolve decades of man made conflict that has resulted in the deaths and injury to hundreds of thousand of men, women, children?

As if the Israel/PLO conflicts is not enough, political instability in Israel has not made it easy with years of coalition governments comprised of Conservatives, Liberals, Right-wing, Zionists to name a few feeding a polarizing environment.

When will it end …?

THE THIRST FOR THE LIBERATION OF ALL OF PALESTINE

Submitted by Pachamama

Those who have determined that the position ante be returned to are merely requiring of the Palestinians the continuation of dying in silence. Again, the Zionists are killing a high percentage of women and children as war crimes are committed with impunity.

This is a Western imposed silence about the genocide of the Palestinian peoples by an Apartheid regime for seventy-three years since the Nakba, or Catastrophe, of 1948. Genocide binds the regime in Washington to its agents in occupied Palestine.

The illegal Zionist regime could not exist for these many decades, in the middle of the Islamic world, without the sustained support of the United States of America principally, western European countries and others.

Amongst these is Germany – the country which committed all manner of atrocities against the Jewish peoples, and others, during World War Two. One dark day has long been replaced by another, this time in Palestine, as the historic suffering of Jews is imposed on Palestinians, though with less directness.

Successive German governments, after World War Two, have bent over backwards to appease the Zionist state with the widest range of support. Even to the extent of suborning a second genocide against the Palestinians in what Human Rights Watch (HRW) and the Jewish human rights organization B’Tselem of Israel have both independently deemed to be an Apartheid state.

Since the 1990s Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and other icons of the former South African Apartheid state have long told us what HRW and B’Tselem have only recently seemed to have discovered. Only the Zionists have this unique ability to bemuse us into such cognitive dissonance.

The Palestinians have determined, across all factions, whether in the 1948 territories (now euphemistically called Israel); in the cantons of the West Bank; within the refugee camps in several neighboring countries; or in the largest outdoor prison camp on earth – Gaza, that this is a struggle which must be won. Whether Hamas, Fatah or Islamic Jihad it is generally felt that there is no choice but to seek liberation by deploying all necessary forms of resistance. We urge all Islamic countries to rally to their side.

For the Palestinians, and their supporters, the nebulous language well-rehearsed and coming from Western capitals is irrelevant. For us this is not a conflict which requires protestations from the usual suspects and the associated self-serving demands that hostilities must end, well-timed to give the Zionists adequate opportunities to ‘mow the grass’ (meaning killing Palestinians in their thousands) to dampen the resistance, as ever growing. The United States has thrice blocked UNSC resolutions in the past week, following a highly predictable pattern.

It’s not the time to issue staid edits that the occupier has some right to defend itself. Bullshit!

For in international law an occupying power has no rights at all, only responsibilities. This is the legal framework developed and led by the United States itself after World Wars One & Two but for over more than fifty (50) years America feints ignorance about the laws of war which were brought into being with it as the principal interlocker.

Blinken, as Secretary of State, knows full well that the Oslo Accords promising the Palestinians a Two-State solution has been long dead. Certainly, Blinken cannot believe that that misguidance of a deal, as given to Yasser Arafat thirty (30) years ago, could have any resonance with Palestinians today, not after Trump’s ‘Deal of the Century’ gave everything to Israel, breaking international law and leaving nothing for the Palestinians to even consider. Trump and Netanyahu, the Zionists-fascists and the Christian-Zionists have sown the wind. Now is the time to reap the Whirlwind.

Only the settler occupation regime in Palestine, serving as America’s cat’s paw in Western Asia, enjoys carte blanche to violate any and all international laws with such impunity. Even its own racist domestic laws are no refuge for Palestinians living in Sheikh Jarrah since the 1967 war. Families who were dispossessed once must be again, as a function of Zionist ambitions, constant expansionism.

Could you imagine any world leader, except Netanyahu, sending an army to raid the third most holy place in Christendom? Far less using smoke bombs and deploying incendiary devices as Christians prayed on Easter Sunday. Far from attracting condemnation from the United Nations Security Council as a lawful captive of American and Western imperialism it would have been casus belli for war.

All of this is happening at a time when the Zionist state is coming under a continuing existential threats. The Boycott and Divestment Movement has shone a bright light on its criminal nature. It remains deeply concerned about what it calls a ‘demographic threat’, not unlike the far-right in the United States of America.

In response, Zionist forces in many governments have acted in unison to delegitimize the censorship of Israel by the international community. Jeremy Corbyn was called an anti-Semite and was run out of the British Labour Party for failing to bow low enough to Pax-Judaica.

There are many others falling prey to the Zionist thought police. In academia, there is the illogical ‘understanding’ which erects an artificial distinction, without any real difference, between the meanings of Jew and Zionist. While the academy tries to maintain this flimsiest of excuses Palestinians are being subjected to a long-winded genocide while academicians irreligiously avoid being labelled an anti-Semite. All this nonsense while Palestinians are, in reality, more Semitic than any other people

Given these circumstances, it is but right to resist the occupation regime in Palestine. That resistance must endure until all the displaced Palestinians in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Gaza, the West Bank and elsewhere are restored to that which was illegally taken from them in an act of war during 1948, 1967, 1971 and all other displacements since. International law makes it wholly illegal to acquire territory through wars of aggression like the Zionists have, supported by Britain and America.

Sweet Sunday Sermon – ISRAEL The Vine the Fig and the Olive Tree

Last Sunday morning we had the privilege of listening to  a speaker from India share a nice word on Israel in three horticultural situations at our assembly in Central Florida. I hope some of you will enjoy this transcript of his message, as much as I enjoyed the message.

Palestine – Requiem in D – The Death of God.

...Israeli led project has killed thousands of civilians, including up to 500 children...

…Israeli led project has killed thousands of civilians, including up to 500 children…

We must use terror, assassination, intimidation, land confiscation, and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galilee of its Arab population.” – David Ben-Gurion, a.k.a. David Grün (1886-1973), Israeli Prime Minister (1948-53, 1955-63) revered by Israelis as “Father of the Nation”

On August 4th 1914, World War One was declared. That declaration led to 16 million dead, tens of millions more maimed and untold deprivation. It also led to the rise of Germany’s Adolf Hitler and his Third Reich. Hitler’s arguments included the machination that the Jewish banking elites had themselves conspired against ‘Germany’ leading to its ultimate defeat in World War One. These forces combined to spawn World War Two where 60 million more perished, including tens of millions civilians, not least of whom was a significant number of European Jewry. It was this suffering of Jews which galvanized the atheistic Zionist-Christian movement for the usurpation of Palestine and the implementation of a ‘greater’ Israel project.

Exactly one hundred years hence the same Christian-Zionist dogs of war are at it again. This time with a ‘final solution’, genocide, on their minds. It is a genocide that Mozart could have had in mind when the scripted his Requiem in D. Unfinished at his own death, it provides the ontology to mentally process the madness of centuries of Zionist-Christian  wars of extinction. Genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and crimes against nature. These are some of the descriptors associated with this Western supported, Zionist led, war against the Palestinian people.

World Affairs – Connecting the Dots

Submitted by Pachamama

What do the near two weeks of continuing slaughter of Palestinian children in the concentration camp cum Warsaw ghetto of Gaza, as the same forces that have maintained that open air prison for 65 years continue to support ISIS – the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, sometimes Levant – have in common with the Western project to destabilize the Ukrainian government and now backs a fascist, Right Sector, government in Kiev with the shooting down of a Malaysian jetliner?

We have previously connected the establishment of the fake Zionist regime in Palestine with American’s quest for global supremacy. Under the protective umbrella of the Americans all international laws, conventions and responsibilities of occupying powers have been ignored for decades. In international law an occupying power has no rights, only responsibilities – not Israel! They are reports that Israel maybe seeking to illegally claim gas resources off the shores of Gaza. So much so that the free reign given to Israel has left the rules of war in tatters, at the water’s edge. These rules were largely established after 60 million people died during WW2. Rules enacted because of the atrocities perpetrated, in part, against European Jewry.

Palestine, Oh Palestine!

"Historical Palestine was peopled by indigenous Palestinians."

“Historical Palestine was peopled by indigenous Palestinians.”

The Zionist regime in Palestine only started to emerge after the 1880’s (AD). And despite the lies told by the Christian Bible, there was never a geographical location anywhere on earth called Israel, never! During the 1890’s the discourse for a Jewish nation state continued to receive popular support in public narratives. After World War One that discourse, with the help of the allied powers, had reached its ascendancy. We then had the Balfour Declaration (1917), the secret Franco-Anglo-Russo, Sykes-Pico Agreement (1916) as the relative winners of WW1 had displaced the Ottoman Empire and now had designs, largely for the petroleum resources, on Western Asia now known as the Middle East and North Africa regions. So the proposed state of Israel was seen as a beachhead for Western oil and capitalist interests.

So Israel, in Western eyes, was merely a cat’s paw for imperialism. Of course, it helped to have this project marketed within the invisibility of biblical writings even when most of its founders were staunchly atheist. Even today, most so-called Jewish people are non-religious. This Zionist project for occupation continued with the Nakba of 1948, the 1967 war, the 1973 war and a series of interventions since. Within the last five years there have been three separate and distinct large-scale slaughters of the Palestinians by the marauding Zionist regime.

Any talk, by anyone, that there was some historic place known as Israel is patently false! Any suggested that some god somewhere in the shy is some real estate agent with an ability to bestow one peoples’ land to another is the type of propaganda that Goebbels would envy – the bible. This propaganda of biblical proportions was deftly deployed by the Rothschild in setting up the colonial, fictitious, settler entity, of an apartheid state which now calls itself Israel.

The Middle East Revisited: Islamism Based On a Cult of Murderous Violence

Submitted by Charles Knighton

Middle East continues to be the flash point – Israel Hamas Conflict

And so it begins anew. After months of provocation, Israel strikes back against Hamas, only to be almost universally condemned as the aggressor. As I pen this letter (Nov. 17) how this latest drama will evolve is unknown, though I am certain it will not take long for the wilfully naive to again claim all Israel needs to do is return occupied land in order for peace to reign supreme. Unfortunately, those calling the shots in the Middle East and North Africa are groups I would refer to as Islamofascists who view Israel as a whole as occupied land.

Any student of history must see that there is something horribly familiar about today’s Islamist movement. Like the fascism of Hitler, Mussolini and Franco, Islamism is based on a cult of murderous violence that exalts death and destruction and despises the life of the mind. Both are bitterly nostalgic for past empires and lost glories and bent on avenging various historical humiliations at the hands of inherently inferior outsiders. The Islamists, like the Nazis, have a particular loathing of Jews, homosexuals and women. And for Islamists, as for fascists, the ultimate goal is to establish a vast, unconquerable territory—a “caliphate” the Jihadists call it—where their power and ideology will reign unchallenged.

Racism or Anti-immigrant Sentiment, It Is All The Same!

A few weeks ago Sir Roy Trotman set off a wild debate in the country with his ‘Egyptian Jew’ comment directed at Jacob Hassid, the CEO of Diamond International (DI). The unnecessary taut served to bring to the fore the latent racial tension which continues to seethe below the surface of Barbados society. I

n response to the comment by Sir Roy the CEO of DI raised the ‘fearing for the limb of he and family’. Bear in mind Barbados has demonstrated that it is one of the most tolerant – some say docile – countries in the world.

After watching the following videos of Jews openly and vehemently demonstrating against immigrants, particularly African, one is left to wonder.

Israel Ready To Bully Iran

Is Iran developing a 'friendly' nuclear program?

The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. (NIV, Isaiah 2:3-4)

For those who do not subscribe to biblical doctrine Bob Marley chanted it best –  “Check out the real situation,  Nation war against nation, Where did it all begin, when will it end,  Well it seems like total destruction,The only solution,  And there ain’t no use, No one can stop them now .”

After the invasion of Libya by a few first world countries the question which many immediately asked was – who will be next?  Would it be North Korea?  Would it be Iran? It seems the gun sight is now unerringly pointed at Iran.

Israel’s Right To Defend Its 1967 Borders

Submitted by Charles Knighton

The editorial in the Nation of May 25th What shall become of the Palestinians reaches the conclusion that “all this talk of peace in the Middle East for over 30 years is nothing more than a sham“, laying blame for this state of affairs solely on Israel’s refusal to withdraw to its 1967 borders, borders which Israel asserts would invite attack from its Arab neighbours. Your editorial [Nation] suggests Israel has conjured up this rationale from whole cloth, as its true motivation is to maintain control of the fertile Jordan Valley.

The 1967 borders are essentially the same borders mandated by the United Nations with the creation of the Jewish state in 1948.  From 1948 to 1967 Israel was set upon by Arab armies, each time repulsing these onslaughts while maintaining their precarious but legally mandated borders. Had that been the end of the Arab aggressions not only against Israel but a United Nations mandate as well, the currently contested lands would have remained under Arab control, including the fertile Jordan Valley.

Understanding The Israeli Psyche

Yaakov Amidror

BU regulars are aware of the robust debate which religious blogs attract. Underlying many of the arguments is the pro-Israel view led by Zoe always it seems at the expense of the Arab perspective. BU’s position remains firm, the situation in the ME will never* improve to the point where there is sustain peace in that region. Too many factional interest at play, too much distrust caused by repeated betrayal, too much greed all stoked by an agenda of geopolitical expediency.

To prove the point, the following quote is taken from the Haaretz.com, the online version of Israel’s oldest newspaper credited to Gen. (res. ) Yaakov Amidror  in 2009: “anyone who hinders him in executing the mission. Even a 5-year-old child? He should go to jail – Maj. Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror told a 2009 conference that soldiers should kill anyone who gets in the way of completing their mission.”

The article makes for sobering reading by delivering a backside view of how prominent individuals in the Israeli leadership think. When we discuss real world issues especially as it relates to the ME, we do an injustice if we apply a simplistic perspective coloured by dogma.

Commander-In-Chief Barack Obama Poised In History – Avoiding World War III At All Cost

Mother of All Bombs (MOAB)

There has been much debate regarding the role of Israel in initiating an attack against Iran. Israel is part of a military alliance. Tel Aviv is not a prime mover. It does not have a separate and distinct military agenda.
Israel is integrated into the “war plan for major combat operations” against Iran formulated in 2006 by US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). In the context of large scale military operations, an uncoordinated unilateral military action by one coalition partner, namely Israel, is from a military and strategic point almost an impossibility. Israel is a de facto member of NATO. Any action by Israel would require a “green light” from Washington.
An attack by Israel could, however, be used as “the trigger mechanism” which would unleash an all out war against Iran, as well retaliation by Iran directed against Israel Michael Chossudovsky

President Barack Obama’s arrival at the White House signalled hope to many in the USA and around the world. On that unforgettable night his victory speech resonated around the theme ‘Change Has Come To America’. How quickly we have forgotten the emotional scenes which were highlighted by the global media  on the night of 4 November 2008. The fact that he was the first African-American to assume the presidency no doubt made it special given the history of Blacks which is forever embedded in world history.

Almost 2 years later Obama can list of his significant achievements,  the stabilization of the US economy after the Bush handover. When he got to sit in the Oval Office he had inherited an economy which was tottering on the brink of disaster. Although some financial analysts have warned of a double dip on the horizon, most agree there has been stabilization. Obama has reason to list the healthcare legislation which was ramrod through the US legislature. It is not what he wanted (watered down version) but it is an achievement which not even former President Bill Clinton was able to achieve as one of USA most popular presidents. Another proud moment is his success at depositing 2 relatively young women on the bench of the US Supreme Court.  His selections will influence US law agenda for decades to come.

What Does The Bible Really Say About The Sons Of Abraham – And What Will It Take For This Dysfunctional Family To Become As One?

Submitted by Terence Blackett

In the book of Isaiah 60: 6, 7 the prophet says:

“The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah: all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense: and they shall forth the praises of the Lord.. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance upon mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.”

To first of all understand these two verses, we must first be able to explain and understand what or who is Midian, Ephah, Sheba, Kedar and Nebaioth based on Biblical history.

In Genesis 25, we discover something very unique in the Word of God. Many well-meaning theologians, pastors and teachers ignore the Scriptures or simply are blind sided by prejudice as to what God is trying to say and show.

Most Christians today understand and are taught that Abraham had 2 lines of posterity. In actual fact, Abraham had 3 lines.

Let us start with Midian. As you read Gen. 25:1-2, the Bible says:

“Now Abraham married again, Keturah was his new wife and she bore him several children: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. And Jokshan had two sons Sheba and Dedan… The sons of Midian were Ephah and Epher…all these were the children of Keturah…”
