  2. It is amazing how this group of dissenters want to manage this 166 Sq. Miles but cant manage their internal affairs without a hint of controversy that constantly spills into the public arena
Meanwhile the dlp has become the laughing stock of the country

  3. @ac

To be fair political parties in our parody of a Westminster system have been known to have internal strife. What makes the DLP saga interesting is that it comes against a backdrop of rising cynicism and apathy in the system. Once Mottley with her large personality and popularity sticks around it gets worse.

Ralph doesn’t belong in DLP or BLP

Everyone has cancer but in order to cure it you have to determine and then address the cause of these gene mutations.

Ralph is a cancerous cell that turns normal cells to cancer cells. When he realised he would not rise in BLP he switched and is now damaging DLP.

One way the immune system fights cancer is by sending out a special form of white blood cells called T cells: The T cells see cancer as “foreign” cells that don’t belong in the body. The T cells attack and try to destroy the cancerous cells.

  5. Your problem is that you always focus on personalities and ignore systemic problems. Whether Thorne had crossed or not the old vs old guard was a simmering issue. People on the ground know this. For your information the history of Barbados politics see MPs crossing the floor. It didn’t start with Thorne.

    triggered? touched a nerve?

    “Your problem is..”

Yours is you support Ralph and the Old Guard who are internally destroying DLP and view him as some sort of saviour to Barbados politics as an opposition when he is a sub par below average mediocre politician.

    “For your information..”

Black peoples biggest problem is lack of unity, tribal or gang warfare and self destruction

  7. You should try to understand Sri Lankan politics.

Only an illiterate person would deduce the blogmaster supports Thorne.

“You should try to understand Sri Lankan politics.”

Sri Lankan politics is as corrupt as a motherfucker and people support their parties like football hooligans and they get all heated up discussing it in a language I do not even understand

I guess BBD is more or less the same..

My uncle was a radio presenter and intellectual who understood it and explained it to me but he has since passed

  9. Understood that political parties do have internal difference as dirty as dog fights
But never heard one lasting six years

  10. My 2 cents worth Avatar
    My 2 cents worth

    My 2 cents worth

Politics around the world in first second and third world is more about control of power by rich people lurking in the shadows who are donors sponsors and puppet masters pulling the strings of puppet politicians

This is more apparent in USA where politicians are greedy self serving wolves in sheep clothing and racism populism offers nothing except deflection and division but wins elections as does corporate business interests

There are some means to address corruption and malpratice in Government office and various branches of Government such as Courts and Police Judiciary and Criminal Systems etc

But if people employed in positions of power declared their interests and membership in secret societies such as freemasons with secret handshakes like gang members then there would be less corruption that needed wasting time and money proving the corruption

  11. Having examined your two cents worth, I must state that you have overprice your product. Please resubmit at a lower price.
    Good morning.

  13. If this situation within the DLP wasn’t so farcical it would be funny. Worse yet is a group of people with no seats (sorry ONE seat) and little traction fighting one another for scraps.

Even more worser is the perception that they can’t conduct or chair a simple meeting of THEIR own members, or write and interpret a BASIC constitution.

Why in God’s name would ANYONE put faith or trust in them as they are currently constituted to govern a country inclusive of domestic and foreign affairs?

If Steve has to go let him go. If Ralph has to prove himself let him try to do so. If Ronnie is leadership/future leadership material let him show it. Simple.

What we are witnessing is akin to madness

We recognize that you are a fast learner as you have correctly placed no value, its exact worth, on your last submission.

We would suggest that you turn off the cool and get back in school.

  15. Baje,

  17. My purpose is to do business here in Tanzania which has already started including Remote work with clients in the UK, US and Jamaica.

The people are very peaceful/humble with a very developed clean environment and cost of living 80 percent cheaper than anywhere I have been and that’s saying a lot. My spirit also feels at home.

  18. Sadness about the disintegration of the DLP from within is completely inappropriate.

Everything is developing according to our Supreme Leader’s plans, as explained by Tron here on the forum.

  19. “Sadness about the disintegration of the DLP from within is completely inappropriate.”

    @ Tron

It’s both hilarious and coincidental that TWO FORMER MEMBERS of the BLP are at the helm of this “disintegration of the DLP from within.”

And, remember, Thorne said the DLP should focus on the REAL ENEMY, which is the BLP.

  20. @Artax

You have old people and you have elders.

  21. Ronnie0 ain’t resigned “for the good of the party and country” yet? The longer he remain stubborn the worse for his political career.
Can’t b e power hungry when u don’t have a seat, and ur opponent do and got the party constitution behind him. It’s best to retire hurt now and come again later when conditions are more favorable

  22. Why should a blpite be concerned if Yearwood has resigned?

  23. Ronnie and Ralph said they were gonna build the party up
12 weeks later the old guard want to demolish it down to the ground

Old does not always mean wise
it can also mean bitter and cussed dangerous and cantankerous
    it all looks so primitive

  24. On what basis could Paul Gibson be advising the media that all is well at George Street?

Listen to the second audio in the link to hear his fool commentary – https://starcomnetwork.net/blog/2024/05/16/police-called-in-at-dlp-hq/.
