  1. Guess they won’t be getting any cruise ships visiting!!

  2. Tim Ives from Haiti Liberté is probably the most insightful journalist on such matters, over decades.

He knows well the political actors on the scene.

He’s reported widely on Barbeque Cherizier who the West thinks of as a gangster but this former policemen has been bringing a critical revolutionary presence to the circumstances in Haiti using all means at his disposal.

He covered the assassination of the last duly elected president, the involvement of the West even as he himself was their stooge and the involvement of the present acting president in the murder. He concluded that certain countries are trying to have an election to get in a legitimate president who alone could then invite US troops, like has been the case a few times before.

All other games involving Caricom and a few Afrikan countries merely serving to put in Black face on what is the centuries old hatreds of the West for Haiti freeing the world from chattel slavery

It was Tim Ives who was amongst the first to uncover that the real gangsters in Washington were flooding Haiti with weapons through their local oligarchs, who then formed gangs as a condition precedent towards deepening the destabilization of Haiti while strengthening the external control of America, Canada, France and others. The Quartet!

Of course Ives, since the early 1990s, has reported on Aristide’s rise to power, his forceful removal by Bill Clinton and sent to Afrika, his return and removal again.

His reporting clearly showed the links between these events as causal to what’s happening in Haiti today. The role of Caricom etc

  3. Today’s Nation article about possible deployment of Barbados Defense Force soldiers is about glamorizing the last mission to prepare this contingent. History should be a teacher.

  5. Haiti has an unelected PM and we have an unconstitutional Government.

  6. This Haiti situation bothers a few. Regional leaders should not discount the situation of an armed confrontation at some time or place. The safety of regional soldiers is now a large part of the equation.

  7. It is always interesting to observe how the developed world does not hesitate to mobilize billions in resources for countries, however, Haiti and other African continue to be the exception.

  8. 2 sides to every story:

Noam Chomsky believes semantics and politics are intertwined with hidden agendas and ulterior motives.

According to Chomsky’s anarcho-syndicalism, or libertarian socialism, the best form of political organization is one in which all people have a maximal opportunity to engage in cooperative activity with others and to take part in all decisions of the community that affect them.

Haiti is a wealth inequality ticking time bomb waiting to explode. The French colony, based on forestry and sugar-related industries, became one of the wealthiest in the Caribbean. Currently the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

“extreme poverty and inflation; enormous income inequality; ongoing civil unrest*

When West categorise groups as Terrorists, Gangs, Extremists, Communists etc it has ominous overtones with implications of interventions under the guise of world peacekeeping.

  10. The documents shared provide a variety of perspectives and information about Haiti. The first post discusses how journalist Kim Ives believes that Haiti is undergoing a revolution and is on the path to becoming a new nation after years of being influenced by outside forces. The second post reflects on the challenges and difficulties that the Haitian people have faced throughout history. The third post questions whether CARICOM is betraying Haiti by supporting foreign military interventions that compromise Haiti’s sovereignty and independence. Finally, the fourth post highlights some positive developments in Haiti, such as economic investments and job creation, signaling a potential rebound for the country’s future.
These posts offer a mix of opinions, historical context, and current events related to Haiti. From discussions on foreign interference to signs of economic progress and resilience within the Haitian population, they provide valuable insights into the complex dynamics at play in the country. If you are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the political, social, and economic landscape of Haiti, these posts offer a range of perspectives to consider.

  11. Whatever is planned to bring Haiti and Haitians to a Christian understanding better happen quickly and decisively. Why? If gangs are able to overturn a democratically elected government and dictate when a prime minister can or cannot enter the country, what’s to stop this behavior from spreading to other jurisdictions in the region? It was tried in Grenada many years ago. It also happened in Trinidad and Tobago with armed bandits overpowering Parliament. With gangs and vicious crime rampant in Jamaica, what’s to stop another attempt at gangs laying down the law as they tried to do once before?

Be brutal if needs be but stop this cancerous madness from festering and spreading now!

  12. Are Caribbean parents willing to see their offspring used as a tripwire for a US invasion?

Are we willing to see version 2 of the Grenadian invasion? We already have the US, a few Caribbean countries and a pretext in place. The RSS which will probably play the same role that the ECF played during/after the invasion. The pieces are in place.

The single difference is that Caribbean forces will do the initial fighting. Don’t wait to start chanting ‘Bring our boys home’s after some get hurt; at this time your chant should be ‘Keep our boys home’.

Of course, we should help Haiti, but our countries must be more than pawns on a chessboard. Our leaders may see themselves as players and power brokers. They are not, they are being used.

    ‘Keep our boys home’

  14. Getting down to the nitty gritty*

    “They were the original gangsters”
The British Aristocracy, The French, Portuguese, Spanish and Americans are the original gangsters who came in and took everything and set up systems of religion, education, laws to keep everyone as slaves.

“They’re the original gangsters. The reason they own 75% of this country is because they stole it. William the Conqueror was worse than Al Capone. When he came over from France he grabbed hold of everything he could get his hands on and then he set up a system so that he and his friends got to hold on to it for ever. Taxation. Education. The judiciary. It’s all designed to help the aristocracy to hold on to their land and their money.”

The internet is wiping out the truth about their slavery, lynchings and racism as they are offended about their corrupted culture and evil ways

(*) getting down to the nitty gritty means fucking a black woman

  15. Experience, and even current and clear gaslighting coming from Western governments and their media lackeys lead me to disbelieve every narrative of the West. I am therefore totally ignorant of the current situation in Haiti, who are the violent gangs and thugs and who are freedom fighters, rebels, revolutionaries.

And who is the legitimate government of, for and by the people?

I have no son at risk of being sent into the fray, but I am not in favour of any Bajan son losing his life in vain.

What is the real situation in Haiti? What is the plan to bring lasting peace and prosperity?

I don’t believe in optics, only solutions.
