A few months ago the blogmaster relented to a request from two post-grad students and shared a few insights. The result in the paper attached – CASE STUDY REPORT – What are the motivating factors for news blogging? The Case of Barbados Underground.

Unfortunately the information sharing from Barbados Underground was not as free flowing as should have been ideal but the paper is a fair effort. The reason the blogmaster agreed to share – there is an urgent need for more bloggers to setup on platforms like WordPress to secure more control of the content and therefore be protected from the tentacles of the establishment. Posters to Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms are beginning to battle with interference from the publishers AND we know how easy it is to report a post on those platforms.

The blogmaster takes this opportunity to express deep appreciation to all contributors and commenters to Barbados Underground from the inception (est 2007).

    So in essence Pacha…yes our identities were stolen, that cannot be refuted, on that we can both agree, but unraveling how, and exactly whose will take much more research,, suffice it to say that much of the information is on the continent as you know, and has seen…..and there are people who have a lot of the answers, i happened to speak to one or two..

    but let’s show through available videos …..the centuries of lies…it’s a starting point…

    I have two (2) concerns.

    (1). Each time someone presents a Bible verse to substantiate a point he/she made, you always ‘say’ they’ve quoted the verse out of context.

    Your usual retort is that you have tertiary level qualifications as a result of undertaking an in depth study of the Bible, which was facilitated by Bible scholars. I also read your contributions in which you mentioned one must understand the Greek interpretation of certain words.

    So, what you’re essentially suggesting is, people who claim to be reverends, pastors, priests, apostles, bishops, prophets, preachers, ministers, deans, popes or whatever they choose to call themselves, that have not undertaken an in depth study of the Bible to the level you have attained, are misleading their congregations because they cannot they cannot interpret and understand the ‘Word’ as you’re able to?

    As such, is it necessary for people to gain a PhD in Bible studies and learn Greek, Hebrew or Aramaic, for example, to be able to better understand the Bible within its context and teachings as the road to our salvation?

    Does this means the souls of those Christians who have died over the past thousands of years are lost, because a guy who loved God, opened a church and preached the ‘Word,’ did not have any ‘formal’ university training or understood Greek?

    But, wouldn’t it be easier for someone to pray to God for ‘wisdom and understanding’ so he/she could understand the Bible?

    (2). You often refer to these times as the ‘last days’ and present scriptures, prophecies and corresponding worldly events as they unfold, to substantiate your claims.

    You claimed to have ‘prophesied’ the collapse of the USA, as predicted by God and evidenced, according to you, by the events that are currently unfolding in that country. When Trump was elected POTUS, you ‘said’ God “removes kings and appoints kings,” and his victory and defeat were part of God’s plans.

    If you believe this is true, then, why keep harping on your and Trump supporters’ belief the elections were stolen in favour of Biden……… and what is unfolding in the USA is as a result of Biden’s incompetence, rather than simply viewing those events as all part of God’s plans…… as you constantly remind BU?

    Why the contradiction?

    Or, can one then make a reasonable assumption that Biden winning the election, whether legitimately or by theft, was all part of God’s plan to fulfill His Word?

    It reminds me of that the events leading to the crucifixion of Jesus were foretold in the Bible. Yet, Judus is demonized for his contribution to the fulfillment of prophecy. We hear about the ‘Judus spirit.’

    But, I’m a self confessed ‘Bible illiterate,’ so, these ‘things’ are beyond my level of understanding.

    What are you trying to tell us, dear Reverend Doc. GP?

    Are you saying that the Book of Genesis is nothing but a work of fiction like the many man-made creation myths across the hundreds of ‘human’ cultures?

    Are you, accidentally, confirming that the Universe (and all its contents including a paradox of a mad man like you) was created in 6,000 years instead of 6 days?

    Since you are so ‘hip’ on Western mythology why don’t you tell us how many gods live on Mount Olympus?

    You might find out that Zeus is Yahweh with his son Apollo (Constantine’s Jesus) sitting around the big round table in the “last days” having a last supper Passover meal before the coming of the Age when your sweet Lord will return.

    The contradictions are rife throughout. They tie themselves up in knots trying to deny them.

    That was the idea behind all my prayers last week.

    Explain to me how a man who was facilitating the will of God, namely allowing Jesus to die for our sins should be damned for his actions.

    It was a dirty job but somebody had to do it.

    The Bible also speaks of God having hardened Pharaoh’s heart against Moses’ plea to let his people go.

    How is God’s action the fault of Pharaoh?

    And my final point at present – if only God can give life and only God can take it…..then God is there giving life to an unwanted “illegitimate” baby conceived during a violent act of rape and He is there taking the same life during a successful abortion.

    I’d say, “Mek it mek sense!” but I know there could never be any.

    Your idea of teaching and learning seems confined to book knowledge. My experience is that much of what we need to know is not found in any text book.

    Before text books and well-defined disciplines, and educational institutions and examinations and certificates and diplomas – there was a great deal of knowledge being built up and passed around.

    And I hear all Socrates did was sit in the street and engage in discussions. Not lectures from on high like you want to do.
