As the coalition of forces gather with their vested interests of displace the American fascist dictator, Donald Trump, on a civil warlike political battlefield, it is becoming quite clear that people who call themselves ‘progressives’ will only awake to the machinations, political tricks, being conjured and to the tectonic shifts under the battlefield when it is far too late. Such a re-imagining of American politics, as neoliberalism was the remixing of economic policies, must of necessity, leave ‘progressives’ out in the cold.

We are estimating that this Democratic-led coalition which is likely to emerge from a possible victory will lurch much further rightward than progressives are generally imagining. For Joe Biden is merely running as a Democrat but intends to rule as a Republican. This is all he has known all his life. Being a conservative Democrat means being a Republican. Same as Obama, there are few differences between factions within the duopoly. Biden has never been known to instinctively done anything progressive in his whole life. Above all, politics is about slicing and dicing as an acceptable method of gaining power, not being a fountain of virtue. Not interfering with the hideous structural infirmities on which the country has been built. This is representative of Joe Biden to the bone!

Therefore, it would be irrational to expect a man like Biden to approach, for example, the misanthropically inspired symbology represented by the ‘Star Spangle Banner’, the national anthem, which glorifies slavery in one of its verses. Or revisit the 13th Amendment of the constitution which still legalizes slavery for people in America’s dungeons, 80% of whom are of colour. Need we go on?

Then, the question which progressives will never get answered is – how could he ‘Build Back Better’ on such a flawed foundation? All Biden really wants to do is to get back to how things were before Donald J. Trump was thrown up by the political culture as if those represented halcyon days for Afrikan-Americans, supposedly his most dependable bloc. That’s all!

But, who are these people generally referred to as ‘progressives’? Well, they could be any motley bunch of political gradations from the far-right to the far-left and in-between. To the far-right they may include Republicans who support the logic of climate change and even never-Trumpers. To the far-left they may be communists, antifascists, socialists or even Trotskyists influenced by the lesser of two evils logic.

In this scenario, Joe Biden would, in effect, be the ‘unwitting’ savior of the Republican Party which is likely to be devastated by a massive defeat, if current polling holds true and in the event Trump is unable to complete that well-planned dastardly act currently underway. Should Biden be buoyed by the winds of a fierce national and overwhelming determination which forces Trump into having no other choice but to leave the White House, even to the point of duress if deemed necessary he saves the Republican Party. In so doing, he would be serving the hordes of Republicans seeking asylum within the Democratic Party as a way of making sure the indispensable other half of the American political duopoly survives Trumpism – the Republican Party.

When we look back at the presidency of Trump, in this scenario, it might appear as though a level of master planning, by hidden hands, paved the way for Biden. He could have the prefect landing to enable him to jettison feckless progressive operating under the assumption that this Democratic Party’s ‘donkey’ will take them somewhere. In addition, Biden could have a highly conservative Supreme Court; a Senate which could be Democratic led but more than willing to serve his less than obvious conservative agenda and a House of Representatives acting likewise with muted or sporadic objections from its progressive caucus.

In these circumstances, the LGBTQ identity politicos, who played such an enormous role during the Obama administration, would not be able to co-exist with the Republican elements within the Biden Coalition, absent the few Log Cabin Republicans. If Biden is faced with a choice between these political forces, there is little doubt that he will go with his new-found friends for the fear about defections of the Republicans may cause too much imbalance within his coalition. He will seek to equalize that action by resting on the logic that the LGBTQ forces generally have nowhere else to go.

The same thinking holds true for Afrikan-Americans, Hispanics, and other progressives who will have nowhere to go notwithstanding the presence of a fledgling Green Party with a presidential candidate, Howie Hawkins, and up to maybe a 100 other people seeking the presidency. Defections of progressives are likely to be deemed as merely a temporary setback. Afrikan-Americans should not expect this reformulation of political forces within neoliberal capitalism will deliver any of Biden’s promises about ‘Building Back Better’ and so on. Nothing will happen but talk, until after the election when the drift to the right becomes public. Observers however, can see what a Biden administration will look like right now by the examination of his teams of advisers. To us such expectations are the equivalent of asking a dead man to change his will and expecting it to happen.

One good thing about Biden is that he has dared to locate himself as it to remove the scab from the old festering wounds making America the fascist state it might have always been and/or to which it has now degenerated for all to see. Of course, he was well assisted by the ongoing demonstrations throughout the country and being a politician there was a need for a response that made sense in order to garner the votes of Afrikan-Americans, women, progressives, young people etc.

In some ways Biden has been sheltered by Whiteness and a hyper focus in the country on what is wrongly seen as a cultural anomaly, the Trump presidency. However, the deeper truth is that Biden will never fix, or even start to fix, in eight (8) years, what was consolidated over four centuries.

Guided by history, only the total and complete destruction of American empire can satisfactorily settle these deeply divisive issues, correct all the fundamental social problems that have been termed ‘original sins’. Some contend that this fatal option maybe better that Biden’s return to an abnormal normalcy. Progressives should have long recognized the existential forces at work and found ways to insert someone more able to deal the rebuilding that has to happen and therefore avoid this Biden misdirection.

  1. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT
A BARBADOS SCHOLAR CANT TALK RUBBISH LIKE THE REST OF WUNNAH?
AFTER TWELVE YEARS PUN BU WUNNAH DONT THINK THAT I COULD LEARN TO TALK RUBBISH LIKE WUNNAH AND BE TOTALLY ILLOGICAL AND IRRATIONAL TOO

I NOT NEHEMIAH WHO SAID “”I WILL NOT COME DOWN”
LIKE JOHN, I CAN COME DOWN AND JOIN MY FELLOW RACIST BAJANS

ITS JUST THAT I DONT SAY “”Steuspe”” LOL LOL
I WANT TO STOP ROCKING AND MOCKING, NOW I JUST WATCH ALL KINDS OF RACES TO BE A RACIST LOL OH ME AM

  2. @David November 1, 2020 5:31 PM “In the Bajan culture/Lexicon a good long hard steuspe has its place. Thank God for it!”

Not only Barbados. But wherever the descendants of Akan/Twi and other speakers of tonal languages live. Most languages of Sub-Saharan Africa are members of the Niger-Congo family. All three Khoisan language families—Khoe, Kx’a and Tuu—are tonal. All languages of the Nilotic language family are tonal.

Tone is the use of pitch in language to distinguish lexical or grammatical meaning – that is, to distinguish or to inflect words. All verbal languages use pitch to express EMOTIONAL AND PARALINGUISTIC INFORMATION and to convey emphasis, contrast, and other such features in what is called intonation, but not all languages use tones to distinguish words or their inflections

So the Londoners are punishing school children for the completely natural and legitimate use of a tone to express emotion and paralinguistic information. I would not be at all surprised if they did not also punish people of Hal’s generation for having black skin, or deeply curly hair, or for being lactose intolerant.

English is not a tonal language. But Bajans are not English. We are not even fake English like you know who.

    Stupssseee!!!

  3. ‘Dear God,
I thank you that I was never “smart” enough to be a Barbados scholar.
    Amen.’

Because someone says they are a Barbados scholar does not mean they are one. An exhibition when one is 20 or 21 years old, teaching at Richmond Boys, does not equate into one being a Barbados Scholar.

Leroy Trotman got an exhibition for Paula when she was already in university. I have never heard him or his daughter say she is a BS.
Yvonne Walkes’ daughter got an exhibition straight out of High School, to study in the States, I never heard her call her daughter a Barbados Scholar. Dr. Marion Williams when she was head of the BCB, got one for her niece to study for a Phd., that does not make her a Barbados scholar. Lots of these later exhibitions are political awards. Is someone’s brother in some political party?

  4. S O LORD AT BAY PRIMARY PREDICTED WHEN I WAS AGED 6 THAT I WOULD BE A BARBADOS SCHOLAR

I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN ANY POLITICAL PARTY ANYWHERE AND OWE NOTHING TO ANY POLITICIAN

I WON MY AWARD YEARS BEFORE I TAUGHT AT ST LEONARDS

I RESERVE THE RIGHT ON BU TO BE AS ILLOGICAL AND IRRATIONAL AS ANY OF WUNNA HERE ON BU

IF MORONS ON BU CAN INFER THAT FOLK WHO LIKE TRUMP OR HIS FOLLOWERS ARE RACISTS, THEN I SEE NO REASON WHY I CAN NOT REASON THAT I HAVE BECOME A RACIST BY GOING TO THE GARRISON AT AN EARLY AGE. BECAUSE NONE OF THE TWO COMPUTE.

I COME HERE WHEN I AM BORED, AND WHEN I AM LOOKING FOR SOME LIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

  5. I TAUGHT AT ST LEONARDS FOR TWO WEEKS WHILE WAITING TO ENTER MEDICAL SCHOOL

  6. GP, why are you blaming your mother for making you racist?

You have your own free will. Very strange.

  7. I WON MY AWARD YEARS BEFORE I TAUGHT AT ST LEONARDS
My question: So this award was a Barbados scholarship, or an exhibition?

I TAUGHT AT ST LEONARDS FOR TWO WEEKS WHILE WAITING TO ENTER MEDICAL SCHOOL
My question: So if you only taught for 2 weeks, and had won an award year’s before, what did you do and what did you achieve in the years between winning the award and going to university?

Is your brother a member of some political party?

  8. Poll shows many Democrats motivated by dislike of Trump, not support for Biden
October 31, 2020 By Robert Ayers

While Democrats across America are in virtual lockstep regarding their intentions to vote for presidential nominee Joe Biden, new evidence supports the notion that those voters are not necessarily expressing their support of the candidate or his platform. As Fox News reported, a significant percentage of Democratic voters insist their motivation to vote in this election is opposition to President Donald Trump.

Poll: 4 in 10 Dems voting against Trump
While Biden’s campaign has long been associated with an enthusiasm gap compared to Trump’s re-election bid, the latest report bolsters those perceptions.A new Fox News poll found asked respondents why voters are casting a ballot for their favored candidate. The news comes as Biden campaign staffers quietly express concern about underwhelming voter turnout among minority voters in crucial swing states.

Pollsters found that 41% of Democrats stated that they are voting for Biden primarily because they do not want to see Trump serve a second term.Only a slight majority — 57% — said that they were supporting Biden because they actually want him to become the next president.

When Trump supporters were asked the same question, the results were notably different.

8 in 10 Republicans voting for Trump
Among Republicans, 80% of respondents said they are voting for Trump and just 18% indicated they were voting against Biden. In the untenable position of attempting to unite moderate and liberal factions of his party, Biden has essentially sought to rally voters around little more than a dislike of Trump. Although it appeared that the strategy might be enough to drag Biden across the line on Tuesday, an apparent glut of enthusiasm among Trump’s supporters could lead the president to another upset victory on Election Day.

One of the remaining unknowns of this campaign season is whether a lack of enthusiasm on Biden’s side will translate to lower voter turnout among Democrats. That appears to be at least part of the problem for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.
Thus far, over 80 million Americans have cast a ballot in the presidential election — or 58% of the total voter turnout four years ago. We have no way of knowing how many were cast for Biden, but doubling down on apathy among his own base seems to be a longshot.

IS PERSONALITY MORE IMPORTANT THAN POLICY, PROGRAMS, PERFORMANCE?

Ah yes @David a good long steeupse is quite useful…. I was amused to see yours as I had done much the same when I read the pastes from the doc and the oft repeated ‘highlights’ from @Lawson.

For the doc I get kerfuffulled with what he himself calls his “rubbish” because his prior posts suggest that Trump’s reelection is ordained by prospecy so not sure why the views of a Black Trump fan or anyone else for that matter are particularly relevant.

But at the practical level these guys repeat absurdity after absurdity and simply expect the BS to carry the day just so. Steeeupse!

Simply stated for EVERY highlight cited for Trump there are at least two direct or indirect related low-lights that detract or there is a correction to the fabrication.

Let’s take that HBCU issue. Yes he signed orders pushing more funds their way … but good gracious practical EVERY president has done similar funding and special orders to support that group.

It’s pure BS that he has done MORE for them than any other POTUS. Steeupse!

And what of the downsides … do they say that his Education DeVos Dept has curtailed other processes and restricted access to others that not only directly hurts that contingent but would have erased the funding upsides.

Do they speak to the fact that this is the same POTUS who calls Nazi sympathizers “fine people”, very aggressively attacks in the courts the right of colleges and universities to assign places for bright students disadvantaged due to monetary or racial disadvantages??? … all DIRECT contradictions of his supposed love to the HBCU .

Of course not… they bring these photoop political BS stuff (which ALL admins have done) and leave out the REAL issues.

It is HILARIOUSLY ridiculous to see this guy post that long opinion from some Trump fan fawning on ‘greater than sliced bread’… utter folly: POTUS OWN sister who knows the man inside and out says the man has NO PRINCIPLES yet some unknown who wants to kiss his ring .. is a better oracle on POTUS worth. STEEUPSE indeed.

@Northern, yes Electoral College again… only this time I am hopeful its POTUS stressing the downside!

What has Trump done (besides the stupid ineffective wall and his trade war) that ANY OTHER Repub POTUS would not have accomplished … let’s get freaking real. The man is an insult to proper governance, strong conservatives principles and life’s values …

He is a lying vagabond who must be defeated and the Republican party purged of HIS disgusting ethos … there is nothing in leadership which he has exemplified that is worth emulating but there is a whole lotta turmoil and contrivances now associated with the party that must be jettisoned.

  10. A Common Undercurrent: How I Went From ‘Trump Skeptic’ to ‘Trump Fan’
November 1, 2020 by Peter Johns

This sentiment quietly echoes across the country and the main media desperately try to keep it suppressed. In 2016, I was not a Donald Trump fan. I’d fully planned on writing in some joke name or whatever because, well, I didn’t trust Trump. There was no way on God’s green earth I was ever going to vote for Hillary Clinton, and third parties are pathetic. I lived in Maryland, so I could justify it to myself as it not really mattering in the grand scheme of things – Maryland is so blue it would vote for Stalin.

I also believed, as did most everyone else, that Clinton would win. In the primary, I was originally a Marco Rubio supporter, then a Ted Cruz fan as the field winnowed. I never dreamed this guy whose TV show I’d been a fan of could do anything but humiliate himself and the party. I was wrong.

Before election day, I did some soul-searching. My wife was pregnant with our first child and I knew a Hillary Clinton presidency would be horrible for the country. Democrats had big plans to “fundamentally transform” the country, ruining much of what made the country the envy of the world in the name of “progressive” politics. What would I tell my child about life before, about the country before? And what would I tell them about what I did to try to stop it.

In a column that went viral, I’d changed my mind. I knew I had to do everything I could, including voting for someone I didn’t think would be a good president but was the only realistic alternative, to register my opposition to the damage to come. I was as shocked as anyone when Donald Trump won. After that, I thought it would be four years of working to mitigate the damage he would do, peppered with a few good things. I was wrong.

Three Supreme Court Justices, countless needless regulations repealed, tax cuts for everyone, unthinkably low unemployment, a booming economy, no new wars, Middle East peace deals, ISIS decimated, NAFTA gone, and American pride rising. I was very wrong. Sure, there were tweets I wished weren’t sent, points that could have been made clearer or more directly – I’m not going to agree with anyone 100 percent of the time except me. But Donald Trump, quite simply, has been an excellent president of the United States.

Most surprisingly of all, and evident in his overall accomplishments, he was easily one of the most conservative presidents we’ve ever had. Whether it was, as some never Trumpers whine, all an act, I couldn’t care less. Results matter, and the results are beyond dispute.

When it comes to 2020, were it not for coronavirus, President Trump would coast to victory. Democrats and the media would still have coordinated all their lies and attacks, but they would’ve been seen clearly as the pathetic character assassinations they are. The fog of the pandemic has clouded everyone’s vision, empowering left wing lies. Joe Biden, Democrats, and the media gleefully accuse the president of being responsible for 200,000 deaths.

It’s an easy attack, and a cheap shot. But when the media memory holes the fact that Dr. Deborah Birx said back in March that we would experience 200,000 deaths “if we do things almost perfectly,” as NBC News did, it makes it an even easier lie to tell. These people, who’d exploit the pain of loss of American families for their political advantage, sickly promising their loved ones would still be alive if only Democrats were in charge, deserve every ounce of scorn human beings can heap upon them. Add to that the demonization of treatments, the belittling of vaccines, and the contempt for hope and I’m left with only disgust. These people cannot be allowed anywhere near power.

So this time, I will vote against Democrats with just as much eagerness and even more urgency now that their party has moved even further to the left and embraced even crazier, anti-American values. The difference is, this time I will vote for Donald Trump with a level of enthusiasm I did not in 2016, with a level of enthusiasm with which I’ve never voted for any other candidate before. The record is too good, the stakes too damn high, and the alternative too damn crazy and corrupt to do anything else.

  11. Donald Trump: Why He Deserves 4 More Years By Larry Elder on October 29, 2020

Lost on the President Donald Trump-hating pundits who weighed in on the second and final debate with former Vice President Joe Biden was Trump’s energy and focus. The man just recovered from COVID-19. Male and 74 years old, Trump is in the “high-risk” category. His weight makes him “comorbid.” Yet, there he was, still throwing heat at the end of the standing 90-minute debate, having spoken earlier that day at a typically raucous love fest/campaign rally. Trump handily defeated Biden, who noticeably tired by the end of this second and final debate.

Yes, nearly all polls show Biden ahead both nationally and in the battleground states. Imagine where Trump would rank in the polls but for the constant, relentless negative media coverage and deranged opposition that would have suffocated the average politician. Nearly one-third of the Democratic caucus boycotted Trump’s inaugural address. Several Democrats never attended a single State of the Union speech. Immediately after Trump’s election, Democrats attempted to invoke the 25th amendment, arguing that the real-estate-developer-turned-politician lacked the mental fitness to hold a job. To counter this perception, Trump allowed his personal physician to hold a press conference to assure the country and the world that yes, this man is actually sane.

fOR Nearly three years, a special counsel investigated thin and, in retrospect, virtually baseless allegations of collusion, conspiracy and/or coordination with Russia to win the election and to then, presumably, become a Russian stooge. Critics called Trump “soft on Russia.” Never mind that it was the Obama administration that, to curry favor with the Iranians and Russians, turned its back on missile agreements with Poland and the Czech Republic negotiated during the previous administration. At the beginning of the Obama administration, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced their “reset” policy, a major policy redirection to change what President Barack Obama perceived as President George W. Bush’s dangerously hawkish relationship with Russia.

It was Obama who, during the 2012 presidential debate, ridiculed opponent Mitt Romney for calling Russia our biggest geopolitical threat. It was Obama who, on a “hot mic,” told then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, “This is my last election … After my election, I have more flexibility” to negotiate a missile defense treaty between our two countries. Oh, and Trump was impeached on grounds so weak that neither Biden nor running mate Sen. Kamala Harris even bring up impeachment while campaigning.

The New York Times rabidly reported on Trump’s taxes, his critics completely indifferent as to how many laws were broken in order to secure and publish these private tax returns. That clueless “reporters” knew nothing and cared nothing about the distinction between tax evasion and tax avoidance/tax deferral explains why Trump didn’t want his returns made public.

When Trump contracted COVID-19, many Trump-hating Democrats set aside their vaunted compassion-for-the-plight-of-others to gloat that the mask-shunning, anti-science ignoramus got what he deserved. But, the SOB Trump recovered, bounced back and tested negative on the day of the second debate, where he put on a calm, determined and possibly outcome-altering debate performance.

Tech giants Google, Facebook and Twitter suppressed a New York Post “bombshell” Hunter Biden story that appears to show father Joe, despite repeated denials, knew far more about his son’s overseas deals than he told the public. Yet CNN, MSNBC and other “news outlets” claimed they doubted the authenticity of incriminating emails between Biden and others that suggest, at minimum, Joe Biden lied about knowing nothing. That the tech giants and much of the mainstream media either suppressed, ignored or minimized the New York Post story is a scandal in and of itself. This is, however, an increasingly common occurrence in this era of Trump hatred. Circle the wagons until Joe Biden crosses the finish line.

Trump received little credit for the precoronavirus strong economy. He got little credit for helping negotiate peace deals between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Sudan. In 2016, then-Secretary of State John Kerry called it fanciful to expect any kind of deal with Arab states without Palestinian involvement. Kerry was wrong. No apology forthcoming. Trump received little credit for changing policy and pressuring Mexico into stopping the so-called caravans of migrants attempting to cross our southern border. He moved the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, fulfilling a promise made and broken by past Republican and Democratic presidents.

As for “race relations,” Trump’s list of accomplishments and policies that benefit Black Americans is long and impressive, from presiding over the best unemployment numbers for Blacks in the history of America to signing the First Step Act that allowed prisoners sentenced for crack cocaine, mostly Black men, to have their sentences substantially reduced, with over 3,100 released from prison for good conduct a few months after it passed. Peace and prosperity normally get a president reelected. But for the last four years, our media, Hollywood, academia and Democrats have acted anything but normal. Sadly, that has become normal.

Once it started earlier this year, it has never stopped.

The excitement has grown with every week at each rally.

Biden is a dud and has no PERSONALITY, plus, he is visibly failing by the day.

What will he be like in January 2021?

Not only has Trump got the POLICY, PROGRAMS and PERFORMANCE, he exudes PERSONALITY.

Trump seems to get stronger by the day.

No president for the past half century has been able to get as far in the peace process in the Middle East as he has.

No President in the same time period, although claiming to want it to happen, has put the US Embassy in Jerusalem, he has.

No President has ever seen a 33% growth in GDP, he has!!

No President has ever taken on China frontally, he has.

It does seem as if 4 in 10 Democrats hate him … that’s 20% of the electorate.

If he takes the popular vote 80/20 we will know exactly why.

The Democrats are not fighting this campaign pragmatically.

They, like you are allowing their emotions to get the better of them.

They seem to me to be in a losing situation, regardless of what polls say..

It isn’t only that Trump has got real power behind him but also that his opponent is so utterly feckless.

It is like Biden is actually helping Trump to win.

Maybe I have misread what is clear to my eyes, but I could swear there is a higher hand in all of this.

  23. A Keene Perspective: How Arizona’s Seniors Perceive Biden
    October 30, 2020 | AAN Staff | Politics,Videos | 289 | 0

Conventional wisdom dictates that President Trump has a problem with Republican-leaning seniors who supposedly don’t like his combative personality or the perceived lack of empathy in his coronavirus response.

Conventional wisdom is often wrong, as our David A. Keene discusses with Arizona’s Republican National Committeewoman Lori Klein. Keene begins the discussion pointing out that seniors typically are least forgiving of candidates who insist on running despite an apparent mental decline, as is the case with Joe Biden.

Klein explains how that reality is playing with Arizona’s retirees: “Unless they’re slipping themselves, they have to be honest and say they want that for the commander-in-chief,” Klein states, adding that the elderly population of Arizona “normally vote two-to-one” for Republicans. Is that enough to keep Arizona red, or has the state’s changing demographics and Phoenix’s rapid growth turned it into a battleground for good?

  24. Let’s say the ~60 million voters who supported Trump in 2016 stay with him and the ~60 million voters who supported Hilary transfer to Joe seamlessly.

The expectation is 150 million will vote.

So it comes down to the 30 million extra voters who come to the party to determine what the outcome will be.

    Why are they coming?

Is Biden the draw or is Trump the draw?

Biden is a dud so the 30 million are coming because they either hate Trump or love him!!

The polls suggest hate is the motivator of 20 % of the electorate.

    Let’s say it is 30%.

Then Trump may end up with 21 million votes extra (70% of 30 million), Biden with 9 million (30% of 30 million).

Trump seems to be possibly the clear winner of the popular vote with 81 million out of 150 million.

But when you consider that the Obama voters of 2012 did not transfer to Hilary in their entirety, it could well be that Trump, if he wins the popular vote will win it by an even greater margin, maybe as high as 60%, maybe even higher.

Like Biden, Hilary in 2016 was also a dud.

Cheating by the Democrats will affect the margin but with the high voter turnout it may not matter.

  25. Hilary lost the electoral college vote with a surplus of 2-3 million votes.

There were 4 other like cases.

Normally, the candidate who takes the popular vote takes the electoral college.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_presidential_elections_by_popular_vote_margin

The 4 times a candidate has had in excess of 10 million votes were Roosevelt, Johnson, Reagan and Nixon, with Nixon at the top with a 17,995,488 vote surplus!!

These surpluses in the popular vote translated to electoral college wins in excess of 500 in three of the four cases.

Turnouts varied between 55.2 and 62.8%.

This year it could be a lot higher.

  26. No candidate has ever won all 50 states.

Reagan won 49 and Nixon also 49.

    Maybe Trump will do it!!

All the evidence suggests that cometh de hour of victory (for whomever) then so cometh the wrath for the US and world.

Both of you are too “educated” not to recognize the danger of the reckless demagoguery of this man and anyone who highlights our impending problems is stupidly described as “hating” Trump.

That’s a kindergarten psychological ploy of crying ‘he hit me’ after your own raucous unhinged tantrums. As the man said: steeupse.

Your POTUS readily ACCEPTS that it’s OK for his supporters to harass and forcefully intimidate his opponent by running a Biden caravan off the highways of Texas … that’s thuggery! …
And after the FBI properly advises that they will look into that incident the thug-in-Chief POTUS says: *”In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong. Instead, the FBI & Justice should be investigating the terrorists, anarchists, and agitators of ANTIFA, who run around burning down our Democrat run cities and hurting our people!”… in sum, there are ONLY excellent fine patriotic people who support me… that should tell us quite CLEARLY who is the vagabond in this contest.

And of course it’s Trump campaign lawyers and state republicans in Texas (not those ‘indecent’ Dems) who are taking legal action to void many thousands of ballots in Dem areas simply because they were done via a ‘drive thru’ process (what fraud!) or to disallow ballots mailed BEFORE the election date but received after Nov 4th (up to 3 -14 days after depending on state statutes) … mind you, something allowed for YEARS without issue in many states … surely we can see who are the real crooks (loved affectionately, of course)!

And you call that type of narcissistic, bullying, divisive BS leadership !

Have your fun guys … it’s going get serious as that proverbial heart attack just now.

The trumpets are out in force blocking streets with impunity and ting … and they boldly calling out the other side daring them to start any trouble … but there is the ‘Not Fu–ing Around Coalition’ (NFAC) new style Black Panthers in de mix tho … so we (they) are locked, loaded and ready.

    Its bang, bang time !

Let’s hope you guys are great Trump team players regardless of outcome.

    I gone.

  30. Dribbles

I am just trying to show the fragile peoples on here that it is quite possible that Trump may win and win big despite the polls.

That way come whenever, they don’t run around screaming and hollering “we was robbed”!!

Of course Trump can lose but I happen to think he won’t.

… but you see, I am not fragile so I won’t run around screaming and hollering that he lost if he does, I don’t have any control over the outcome.

Why do you and others get so emotional about things over which you have no control?

  31. Dribbles

Watch this fragile person, Michael Moore and see if you can identify any of his logic in your writings..

He hates Trump, thinks Trump is an evil genius!!

He is a bundle of nerves even though he knows he can’t do anything to change the outcome.

If Trump wins, he is going to crack and splinter.

The thing is he predicted it right in 2016 so unlike the fragile peoples on here he is actually thinking.

  32. Watch Michael Moore from 2016.

He understands Trump’s voters love Trump.

  33. Now if you want to hear a rational person, in no way fragile, watch Victor Davis Hanson explain “Why the elites hate Trump”!!

  34. John and Dr.GP TMEE posting nine hundred times since last night. Jeez.

    Your Fuhrer would be proud.

Not that I have read any of your drivel. Methinks now you are writing love letters to each other.

Might hear you Nov 4. If your Fuhrer wins, I will be stocking up my food, for the impending war he will start with China.

    Bye.

HOW MANY ELECTORAL VOTES EACH STATE GETS WHEN ELECTING PRESIDENT
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the states as they’re called, and the number of electoral votes each one has.

    Author: KHOU 11 Staff

HOUSTON — Tuesday is Election Day, as voters head to the polls to decide who will lead the country, states, counties and various municipalities. For the presidential election, the Electoral College ultimately decides the winner.

Below is the allocation of electoral votes for the 2020 presidential election. It was determined by the 2010 Census. Each state gets a number of votes based on its number of senators and representatives. They get two votes for its senators, plus a number of votes equal to the number of Congressional districts.

In all but two states, the electoral votes go to whichever candidate wins the popular vote. But in two states — Nebraska and Maine — two electoral votes go to the popular vote winner, then one electoral vote goes to the popular vote winner in each Congressional district they win.

There are 538 total electoral votes. President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden would need 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.

Texas is the second biggest prize with 38 electoral votes, only behind California’s 55.

    State-by-state number of electoral votes

  40. “Dese hey fawks show dem hatred so cleahly.”

It’s par for the course for white folks and their subordinated house negroes to ignore black peoples light that is shining bright
and claim whites are spectacularly brilliant when they are mediocre or below average and will fast track and promote them to be the boss and masters managing blacks to do their work and getting all the credit from it as the natural order in the shitstem of global institutional white supremacy racism ism and schism.

I am expecting the orange sinner man to be wearing an orange jumpsuit when everything is all done and dusted and he gets busted as Americaca and the whole world is disgusted in the gammon pork chop patrol’s dirty tricks to win by hook and crook. Don’t forget Trump Johnson and Farage hated Obama from day one with a passion that could not be rationed and linked up with racist networks undercover, which would not have been lost on Biden.

Trump has sent you mad, like Michael Moore!!

While anything is possible do you like Michael Moore believe Federal Marshalls are going to go into Michigan tomorrow and seize the ballot boxes?

He has clearly got a real bad bout of TDS.

Watch him and you will see the symptoms.

Luckily the reporters are adult enough to help him catch himself.

If you don’t have a rule that states when someone posts information wholesale or partially from another source they should provide some sort of attribution its time you establish one. People are posting info as if they are the originators and we know they are smart but not that smart.

Wrong about that war with China, haven’t you heard how many patents that Ivanka was granted by China since Trump became president? Yuh know how much money that puts in her pocket?

Yuh ain’t hear about the 16 million that was deposited in Trump’s inactive bank account in China after he became president; which he promptly withdrew. Yuh think Trump will bite the hand that feed him and his family?

  48. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette endorsed President Donald Trump for re-election on Saturday, saying America needs leaders who “gets things done.”

In its editorial endorsing Trump, while carping at some of his personal mannerism, the newspaper noted that it has not endorsed a Republican for president since 1972, which it backed former President Richard Nixon. That year was also the last time that Minnesota, a state where Trump has campaigned vigorously, voted Republican in the presidential race.

The editorial said that Democratic Joe Biden “is too old for the job, and fragile.” The editorial further noted that “There is a very real chance he will not make it through the term.” And as for the Democratic bench, it stated that “Sen. Kamala Harris gives no evidence of being ready to be president.” Further, it said, the “Biden-Harris ticket offers us higher taxes and a nanny state that will bow to the bullies and the woke who would tear down history rather than learning from history and building up the country.”

The newspaper agreed with Trump’s recent contentions that a Biden presidency would bring an end to the practice of hydrofracking to produce natural gas trapped between layers of rock. Trump has said Biden opposed the practice in the past and would ban it if elected. Biden has said he would not end fracking, as the methods is commonly called.

“[L]et’s talk about one of the most important concerns in this region — energy. Under Mr. Trump the United States achieved energy independence for the first time in the lifetimes of most of us,” the editorial said.

In contrast, it said, Democrats offer “Cuckoo California dreams that will cost the economy and the people who most need work right now. ‘Good-paying green jobs’ are probably not jobs for Pittsburgh, or Cleveland, or Toledo, or Youngstown.”

Noting that Biden’s campaign has endlessly attacked Trump on COVID-19, the editorial suggested perfection is an unlikely achievement, and added, “the president was and is right that we must not cower before the disease and we have to keep America open and working.”

Much of the editorial’s support for Trump is based upon his economic achievements.

“Under Donald Trump the economy, pre-COVID, boomed, like no time since the 1950s. Look at your 401(k) over the past three years.,” it wrote.

“Unemployment for Black Americans is lower than it has ever been, under any president of either part,” it said, later added, “Thanks to him, middle America is on the map again and the Appalachian and hourly worker has some hope.”

The editorial noted that Trump kept the promises he made in 2016.

“No one ever asked the American people, or the people in ‘flyover,’ country, if they wanted to send their jobs abroad — until Mr. Trump. He has moved the debate, in both parties, from free trade, totally unfettered, to managed, or fair, trade. He has put America first, just as he said he would,” the editorial said.

“He also kept his promise to appoint originalists to the Supreme Court of the United States. His third appointment, Amy Coney Barrett, is the best of all — a jurist whose mind and character and scholarship ARE first class. We hope she stands against both judicial and executive excess,” the newspaper wrote.
