Sweet Sunday Sermon – The Ritual of the “Scapegoat”

There are many words and phrases that we commonly use that originate in the Bible.
For example, the word “sincere” which is found in 1Peter 2:2 to describe “the milk of the word,” is a transliteration of two Latin words “sine” (without) and “cere” (wax.)
In days of old, when charlatan potters would gloss over their impaired pottery with wax before they tried to sell them, more honest potters who sold perfect pottery, advertised their ware as “sine cere”.
Today, we will state the etymology of the word “scapegoat” and exegete the passage in the Bible where this word occurs, and the passage where such a goat was used in a ceremony, and explain the significance of the passage, sincerely (“sine” (without) and cere (wax.)

    With your frequent bouts of religious self-pleasuring of the ‘Onanistic kind
    you can only be referring to the Jews.

    For hundreds of years you have failed to stop them from ‘celebrating’ Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) instead of accepting Good Friday and Easter on which your sweet gentle Jesus the lamb of Yahweh was killed and resurrected for the atonement of the sins of the same ungrateful Israelites.

    When you- the members of a breakaway cult from Judaism- can convince those mainstream Jews to accept Jesus (the fisher of men) as their scapegoat and sacrificial lamb transitioning from the Age of Aries to the Age of Pisces then we will know that Abraham’s faith was not in vain.

    His commitment to the sacrifice of (as a burnt offering) his ‘favourite’ son Isaac to the god of the Age was intercepted and interceded by that scapegoat called the ram (Aries) caught in a thicket.

    You see, the same old story repeated over the Ages!

    Who would be the ones to be made sacrificial ‘lambs’ in the recognition of the onset of the Internet Age of Information & Misinformation?

    Yes, the One carrying that Pitcher of Water to the large upper room!

    Could it be Tim Berners-Lee or Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg?

    What about the ‘selection’ of a female Pope with her ‘fishy’ mitre in Rome or her copied version in the UK to signal the end of that Age of duplicity!

    The human eye is a miracle of creation. The eyes are silent communicators able to show an amazing number of good or evil human moods or emotions with just a glance.
    This is why Jesus calls the eye, ‘the lamp of the body’, because your eyes can convey so much about you.

    People sometimes say that a person’s eyes ‘lit up’ when they experienced something that made them instantly happy.

    The alternative medicine known as ‘iridology’ has shown that eye colours, patterns and iris characteristics can reveal much about your inner health.
    One of the amazing things is the ability to make direct eye contact with another person who is some distance away, even when they are with a group of people.

    The eyes are mentioned over 500 times in the Bible.
    The eye and sight are used in the Bible in the spiritual sense to depict a person’s ‘insight’ and understanding of the things of God:

    Of course Christianity is an extension (or offshoot) of Judaism; just like Islam is an Arabic makeover of Judaism.

    They are all branches from the Abrahamic tree of faith(s) which has its roots in monotheism ‘founded’ by the heretic Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten.

    There is nothing ‘Original’ about Judaism and its’ pantheon’ of plagiarized myths and legends.

    Why not check for Melchizedek and you might find out who ‘is’ Abraham’s boss.

    I think you will find Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt centuries before the rule of Akhenaten.

    Means he interpreted the Pharaoh’s dreams long before Akhenaten arrived on the scene.

    It is more likely that Akhenaten decided to try monotheism as a result of centuries of Egyptian experience.

    Just chose the wrong God.

    When were the descendants of Joseph and his brothers enslaved?

    My bet is you will find it was before or during the reign of Akhenaten.

    Nitwit question but let’s see what we know.

    As Islam spread (7th century onwards) people were abducted into slavery from all over the Mediterranean.

    Colour was not an issue.

    Barbary Pirates went as far as Ireland.

    The Mamelukes were taken to Egypt from areas of Circassia.

    Your theories on colour and slavery hold no water.

    Also, what I think you will find is that the development of the Nile region at the time of the Pharaohs was undertaken from outside of Africa as Agriculture spread through the fertile crescent.

    Some of the people of the Nile at time of Joseph were descendants of persons from Ur, like Joseph … and of course, Abraham.

    But you would expect that given the flood.

    But would they ever be brought to the realization that all their beliefs, not knowledge, are base on “eponymous” characters – people who NEVER existed, including the one Abraham. And if there was never a Abraham all three fictitious religions have no foundations whatsoever.
