The Commissioner of Police Tyrone Griffith confirmed in a press release no accelerant was detected from the post mortem process and likely cause of death was as a result of a gas cylinder which exploded.
Further comment is therefore required from the police to clarify the matter.

One must wonder if some people that claim to be Barbadians have the interest of the island at heart when their agendas are not being fulfilled. The Commissioner of Police has given an official position to the nation, until he is proved wrong it is the official position.
The UK foreign office has told the media it has been in communication with local authorities.
The blogmaster has questioned inconsistencies in the matter which does not mean anything was done wrong by officials. What the case has thrown up is that the Police need to communicate more effectively and efficiently.
Further, the BTI as the agency responsible is duty bound to manage the brand to ensure Barbados as a premier destination and UK being an important market is not negatively affected by the matter.
