That finishes our coverage of Boris Johnson’s first day as prime minister.
It came with the biggest ever clear out of cabinet without a change of party in power.
BBC political editor Laura Kuensberg said it was “not a reshuffle it’s a new government”.
Tomorrow, Mr Johnson chairs his first cabinet meeting and faces the House of Commons. And of course we’ll bring you full coverage of that across the BBC.

Steven Ahle STEVEN AHLE JULY 29, 2019Thanks to President Trump’s strategy of keeping asylum seekers in Mexico while they await their asylum hearing, many of these illegals are self deporting themselves back to their home countries.
Only 1 in 10 are found to be eligible for asylum and those who know they are not eligible would rather go home than to stay in Mexico for a year or longer and then be sent home anyway. When you stop and think about it, it’s amazing what this president has done, considering that he has to accomplish everything by himself.
He can’t even count on his own party for help.
A report from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, shows that many Central Americans who arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border seeking asylum are giving up and going back to their home countries.
A reporter from the Texas Tribune asked how many of the Central American migrants at the migrant processing facility in Mexico were giving up on their asylum applications – nearly all of them indicated they were throwing in the towel.
The Tribune attributed the reversals from migrants to the policy of the Trump administration to make asylum-seekers stay in Mexico while their application was being processed.
One migrant told the Tribune that conditions in Mexico were actually more dangerous than those he left in Honduras because he didn’t know anyone in Mexico who would help him.
“We’re afraid and we want to go home, even though we’re scared to return to our country,” said Cristian Urquiza. “If Honduras is dangerous, Mexico is worse. It’s more dangerous.”
On Friday, the president announced that he had reached an agreement with the government of Guatemala to help keep asylum-seekers in that country instead of taking the dangerous trek through Mexico towards the U.S. border.

This week, President Trump said that Baltimore is a bad city to live in because they are rat ridden and the murder rate is through the roof.
The Dems melted down and cried racism. The unsubstantiated charge of racism is the dying gasp of an extremely week mind. Orkin, the pest control company says that Baltimore is the ninth worse rat capital in the United States and the murder rate speaks for itself. Maybe Elijah Cummings and Baltimore could sue Trump for definition (Not a misspelling) of character.
Since the Black Lives Matter riots in Baltimore, the crime rate has soared because the police are afraid to do their jobs because the city does not support them.
Baltimore homicides exceeded 300 each year from 2015 through 2018, and 2019 is on track to cross the 300 threshold for the fifth year in a row.
A 2016 report from the Baltimore Sun showed 344 homicides for the year 2015. A homicides counter maintained by the Sun shows 318 for 2016, 342 for 2017, and 309 for 2018.
USA Today reported that the 342 Baltimore homicides in 2017 represented a “homicide rate of 56 per 100,000 people.” The homicide rate in Chicago was less than half of that, at “24 per 100,000.”
As of July 28, the Sun’s counter shows 191 Baltimore homicides for 2019, which means the city is well on its way to surpassing 300 homicides for the year.
At least five people were shot, three fatally, in Baltimore on July 27 alone. And on July 25, Breitbart News reported eight persons were shot in one night of Baltimore violence. One of the shooting victims succumbed to his wounds.
The violence, including surges in homicides, has been all-too-present in the years since Maryland implemented the Firearm Safety Act in 2013. That act put in place many of the left’s favorite gun controls, such as an “assault weapons” ban and “high capacity” magazine ban. It also implemented a fingerprinting/registration process for new handgun buyers.

Rep. Omar’s Extended Criminal Record Exposed After Marital Split Featured

And with the rumor mill swirling over multiple reports that Omar married her brother in an apparent case of immigration fraud, the last thing the embattled Congresswoman wants is more public scrutiny on her personal life.
But here we are.
In the same week that Omar abandoned her current hubby, her mugshot from a previous arrest was released. It turns out Omar was arrested in 2013 for trespassing:

Alpha News notes that “according to the police report, hotel staff requested police assistance in clearing the lobby, saying that anyone without a hotel room key was not welcome on the premises and needed to leave immediately. The officer handling the incident said the majority of people who were asked to leave were compliant. However, Omar, when approached, was ‘argumentative’ and refused to leave.”

Omar was recently ordered to pay back thousands of dollars of campaign funds that she spent on personal expenses. According to National Review, Minnesota’s Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board “ordered Omar to reimburse her former campaign committee for $3,500 in personal accounting and travel expenses, and levied a $500 civil penalty against her for misspending the funds.”Nor is that all: Minnesota’s Alpha News reports that Omar “was arrested in 2013 for trespassing and booked at Hennepin County Jail ‘to prevent further criminal conduct,’ according to a newly uncovered police report.
Then there are the traffic violations. The Minnesota Trial Court Public Access site, which is run by the Minnesota Judicial Branch, lists no fewer than twenty-four violations by Omar, the first on May 28, 2009 and the most recent on January 17, 2019, when Omar was a member of the House of Representatives. There are twelve violations in 2016 alone. …
The sheer number of these violations demonstrates that Ilhan Omar believes, apparently with good reason, that she simply need not have any regard for Minnesota law.
And when one takes into account the trespassing arrest, the campaign finance violations, and the marriage to her brother, a disturbing pattern emerges. Does this Minnesota lawmaker have any respect at all for the law? …It looks like Omar has absolutely zero respect for the rule of law. Many others, including her colleagues in Congress, agree.

Kamala Harris critical of Trump for helping rapper A$AP Rocky

After multiple celebrities and the first lady asked Trump to help rapper A$AP Rocky, who is being held without bail in Sweden, 2020 presidential candidate Kamala Harris accused him of abusing his power.
Attack No Matter What
One of the biggest narratives Dems are pushing right now against Trump is that he is a racist. That is the exact reason candidates like Harris have to push an “abuse of power” narrative when Trump is trying to help someone in the black community.American rapper A$AP Rocky is currently in a Swedish prison being held without bail on alleged assault charges.
Kanye West reached out to Trump to ask him to help if he could. Trump more than likely picked up the phone to ask the State Department to look into it and to provide whatever assistance possible. In this day and age with social media being what it is, the incident became front-page news.
Because Democrats cannot have Trump get credit for helping a minority American citizen, they need to find a way to paint Trump in a negative light for his trouble.That is exactly why Harris stated, “There’s no question that this White House is, has been playing politics with his role of leadership, and it has to end.”
Oppose Trump at All Costs
If there is one sad fact we have learned over the last two years, it is that Democrats and the mainstream media refuse to give Trump any positive coverage or recognition.There was a report done several months ago that estimated other than Fox News, 90 percent or more of the coverage on networks about Trump had been negative.Some of the networks were well over 95 percent negative coverage. As an example, when Trump signed the First Step Act, drastically overhauling the federal prison system, it received virtually no coverage at all.
Trump’s attempt to free A$AP Rocky was nothing more than a President trying to help a U.S. citizen abroad that got himself into trouble.
The first duty of the President of the United States is to protect our citizens…so how can there really be anything wrong or abusive in what Trump did?

One Baltimore resident, Michelle, blasted Cummings by saying that he “hasn’t done anything” for them.
“I’ve never heard anyone say anything about him [Cummings]. And everyone wants to talk about Donald Trump– Donald Trump this, Donald Trump that. Why is this man over there taking care of people at the border?” she asked.
Michelle weighed in on the situation at the southern border, saying that she wished Rep. Cummings and other Democrats would focus on helping struggling Americans rather than illegals.
“We’re hungry. We need a place to stay. We feel like we’re in a ‘concentration camp,’ and it’s just sad. People worried more about them [illegal immigrants] than his own people,” she continued. “It’s just crazy.”
“So sad that Elijah Cummings has been able to do so little for the people of Baltimore,” Trump wrote in another tweet.
“Statistically, Baltimore ranks last in almost every major category. Cummings has done nothing but milk Baltimore dry, but the public is getting wise to the bad job that he is doing!” he added.Following Trump’s criticism of Cummings’ district, which he called a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) described the remarks as a “racist” attack.
“@RepCummings is a champion in the Congress and the country for civil rights and economic justice, a beloved leader in Baltimore, and deeply valued colleague. We all reject racist attacks against him and support his steadfast leadership,” Pelosi said in response to a Trump tweet that read:
“Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA……”
Not surprisingly, Pelosi conformed to regular Democrat practices by defaulting to racism. This same Baltimore resident however, aimed to shut down Pelosi’s cheap response. In another video, Michelle addressed the widespread left-wing criticism that Trump is a “racist.”
“Trump is not racist … I’m glad he put [Cummings] on blast. The rats just didn’t come. These houses just didn’t get torn down, they’ve been like this,” she said.
“What he said was definitely true. [Cummings] hasn’t done anything for us” Michelle added referring to Trump’s tweets about Cummings. Michelle continued saying that Cummings is “worried more about [caring for illegal aliens at the border] than his own people”The facts support Michelle and Trump’s criticisms of the district and Cummings, as Baltimore is on track to top 300 annual homicides for the 5th consecutive year.
To make matters worse, Baltimore’s 2017 homicide rate was 56 per 100,000 people. This puts it at a worse rate than Chicago, who comparatively sits at only 24 per 100,000.
