easterThis is the season of Lent and this weekend represents the highlight of the season when willl Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Some Barbadians are justified in their argument that Barbadians have shifted from traditional values with an anchor in a Christian upbringing that have served us well up to recent. This is debate for another time.

The blogmaster is of the view that traditional values with its Christian underpinning should be manifested in how individuals that subscribe to the faith treat with their fellow man on a 24/7 basis. It was with great interest a statement credited to Minister of Youth Stephen Lashley’s resonated with the BU household.

Indeed I believe that we need to spend more time in the media highlighting more of the good work that they continue to do. I think there is an overbalance or excessive commentary in print and electronic media and now on social media, which seeks to highlight every possible negative activity of some of our youth,” he said…

I think that it is a national scandal and it gives an embellished reflection of our young people. I have a lot of confidence in the ability of our young people to rise above an over reliance on negativity.

Here is a simple point we want to share with the minister. Nothing wrong with his statement if taken at face value. The blogmaster is also concerned about the malicious and ignorant use of social media. However as leaders, the blogmaster is of the view, we must practice what we preach to achieved positive outcomes.

Surely Minister Stephen Lashley is aware that some of the most vile communication shared in the social media space is perpetrated by ministers of government, Senators, parliamentary secretaries and surrogates from the political class (political parties)? The blogmaster can produce the evidence in a heartbeat to support but we will compromise our position- demonstrated for the past 10 years- that what is shared with the blogmaster, stays with the blogmaster.

    Today is generally regarded by Christians as one of our most solemn. It demonstrates a fundamental lesson of populism. The crowd that praise a leader when he appears to be the answer to their hopes can demand his execution when he fails to deliver on their expectations.

    The leader is always in control though. He alone determines his mission and is not bound to make other persons expectations his. Most Christians use Lent as a season to assess whether he/she is still on the high moral road and what he needs to do to remain there.

    Uneasy is he that wears the crown ,even when it is a crown of thorns.

    Let us have a quiet day of reflection on how we can make things better for ourselves and our fellowman.

    Where are the independently verifiable marks left by your contrived story. A story rooted in a desire to enslave the world.

    Is it true to say that “on this day almost two years ago” the Jews celebrated the start of the Passover?

    But we are glad you have accepted, finally, the ‘fact’ that the swapping of one myth for another is an exercise in ‘childish’ futility.

    So why exchange a king David for a Jesus King of the Jews the same Jesus Bar Abbas (Son of the Father) was chosen over Yeshua?

    It seems that Christians ‘stole’ their religion of myths from the Jews who purloined theirs from the Sumerians and Egyptians with the divine worship of the Aten at the centre of their monotheistic faith copied from the ‘cult’ of Akhenaten.

    It’s time black people chose a religion from which they can derive benefits instead of paying the costs, always.

    So in their quest for a mythological Saviour why not chose from a list of Chinese deities to ‘believe in’? Why not choose Shén before Zhǔ or Caishen before the ‘black’ Ji Gong?

    Black people must remove the curse of darkness from their eyes and receive that halo of light of wisdom from the ultimate Source of life on this planet.

    Here is one mythical statement that is the encircling ring of the Light of Truth found in all ‘human’ religions.

    Fir those of us who live near to the Equator now, and for all of humanity which was born close to the Equator there is no “death” of the sun/no winter and hence no “resurrection” of the sun/no spring. The death/winter and resurrection/spring of the sun are myths which could only have been born in the far northern or far southern hemisphere, where for some periods of the year the sun does not rise at all. Let us not get too tied up in other peoples’ mythologies.

    For those of us who are Equatorial peoples the sun is forever steady, forever present.

    Wrong…..Simple and undeniable analysis clearly points to a time = zero when everything actually started. Evolutionist try to explain this point via a “big bang” theory.

    However, if you understand the concept of entropy, and consider the impact of time, it is also clear that there HAD to be a time where T=0.
    More importantly, it makes more sense that this was a point in time when entropy was HIGH – since entropy degrades with time – as opposed to a ‘big bang’ scenario – when entropy would be low (chaotic), and there would thus be the need to ‘explain’ how order could so uncharacteristically come out of such disorder. (evolution)

    You may recall that….
    When BBE created the world, the Creator remarked on the exceptionally HIGH level of entropy (everything was perfect). …..But that is in the bible so let’s drop it….. LOL

    The facts and the science therefore DO support a ‘created’.

    But at the councils of Nicaea, Chalcedon and others were convened for the very bible to be written. Decisions were made what should go in and not. Many changes were made

    So if the Bible was fashion at these ‘conclaves’ would it not be sensible to try to understand what went on at these Catholic conferences?

    Not everything going on there was bad. You should note that the Maccabees 1&2 were kept out because they were real history records as apposed to the rest.

    And your people decided that all the rest were the pipedreams of the Piso family, who is it being paranoid to consider clear falsehoods to be true.

    And you continue to disregard the primary evidence that earth is a minor planet in the scheme of things. That there are billions of planets with infinite possibilities to sustain life. Earth is central to your dogma but nothing special within these orders of magnitude..

    And more importantly the universe is still creating itself so it could have never been creatED by the fiction of a g o d. We could still hear after 15 billion years the sounds made by its birth.

    There is no guilt here or any attempt for its transference.

    What we do have is an allergy for imprecisions.

    We guess you would prefer to have people like Stephen Hawkins who demystify the product of your dreamland treaty like Galileo et al.
