Bushie, I did encourage other youngsters that they could and would succeed if they applied themselves and some did, indeed a few very well known gents in Bim today. I suspect a steam engine would have been too cumbersome to use on a farm tractor at that time and would have made its appearance in a farm tractor in the late 1800’s, well after slavery had been ended.

I sometimes wonder if they visited Glenburnie,Martins Bay,Newcastle in St.John,Darkhole,Cambridge in St.Andrew even Kingstreet in the city during the 50s&60s and saw the poverty of the european descendants?

Form one committee after another, comprised largely of their friends, and certainly their consulting companies in the background, to seek “input” and deliver “reports”. With Fentanyl we see quick solutions, though they are some studies too.
