Let’s hope she is impeached within the 90 day window before she is installed…that’s the plan..lol
-
She may not hold the post long as if so with Trump , Both will end up in court before Jan2017, we must remember when you reach that high to run for President of the USofA all things are looked at,,and all acts, very hard for people to stay clean in a dirty nation,
-
Lets hope we have half a million rifles aiming on the White House with hollow point bullets should he be elected
-
I don’t know where David is getting his projections from.
Hillary is ahead in Pennsylvania. Trump has to win Florida in spite of the Hispanic vote. If Trump can win Ohio and Michigan he is still in the game.
Concede nothing. Men of the world, unite!

One has to play dirty to stay ahead of the pack. Listen! position is the art gunnery!
-
Seems as if a few here are leaning towards Trump. “Hispanics” seem to have recognized how dangerous was the the threat this man poses to their community. Blacks don’s seem to get it.
I hope that we do not have to learn the hard away. -

LOLL @David, the BBC feed. You are afraid the US media houses are too biased!
@chad45 at 6:36 PM —surely you are not serious with “I don’t know where David is getting his projections from.” Jeez. Talk about bias.
Has there been any major US news outlet today which has not projected Clinton to win???
All you say about Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio and Michigan is absolutely true but yet the various maps are projecting a Clinton winner at the moment.
Of course that can all change as soon as the state results are finalized.
Incidentally @David on the other blog you asked rhetorically about the US elections and how the system had reached this despicable stage..I essayed a brief rebuttal that it has been this way for years with these two candidates being the current dregs thrown up by the system.
An article I saw today provided a very comprehensive review on that topic:

Anonymouse
“Blacks don’t seem to get”
The fact of the matter is blacks see in these two candidates no real hope for change, and as congressman Lindsey Graham once said: “If you’re poison or shot you’re still dead.”
-
Black support for Clinton is overwhelming.Trump would be remembered as the loud mouth candidate with racist views anti immigrants policies and disrespectful to woman and minorties. A master of tall lies and thief who hoodwinked the federal govt for billions of dollars. That would be his legacy when the election is over.
Btw his lawyers have already began drawing up a legal brief against a state where they suspect was vote rigging. -
Dribbler
No American media house or news organization has “projected” Hillary as the winner.
Projections are based on actual vote counts. The counting has started, but no results are known at this time.
What David is referring to are pre-election polls, which are used for predictions, not projections.

Sigh….are we going to play semantics so early in the night…Ahhhhh!
Doesn’t change the point…you were being provocative as we both understood the facts of what David alluded to. He was on solid ground.
I actually do fear that Trump will win this but I will happily concede defeat on that view.

Catastrophic for black and white men in America if this corrupt female dunce wins.
Mexican immigration must be stopped. It is unreasonable to send 20 million ( not 11 million) of your poor citizens to a neighbor. The trade deals must be stopped. They are bankrupting the country.
African-Americans are confused, and black men are voting against their interests.
-
Trump kicking butt very early in the process.
@chad99999
BU projection based on Nickelodeon vote 🙂

Gender warfare
Trump losing women by 13 points.

@ Chad
Boss, It seems that there is hell to pay until you meet a good woman…. ain’t it?Bushie hates to be the one to tell you this, but AC aside, a good woman can be the SINGLE BEST THING that can ever happen to you…. and of course, meeting one like AC can be the single WORST thing imaginable…
So take it easy with your anti-woman rantings, …least you meet an angel and be forced to eat all these cruel words outa love….
…or end up with AC …and be forced to eat them ‘vi et armis’…. 🙂
LOL

@chad99999
If Trump wants to grabum by the pu**y what do you expect?

DPD, I also fear that Trump is likely poised to confound the polls and win by a squeaker. But I am hoping that he doesn’t, in the self centred interest of seeing my grandchildren reach their teens in a Barbados that is not too far in many respects of the promise, related to human development, that was evident in my Barbados of the end of the last Century. IMHO a Trump presidency is likely to lead into uncharted territory which could be most inimical to our progress here.
I tend to go with Pachama who said in another blog that this is a race between forces not individuals. I think that only a preeminent force or entity could have engineered the the dice throws that engendered the conditions that allowed Trump to beat 16 republicans to get the GOP nomination and then followed it with the absolutely unbelievable conditions in the FBI, just 11 days out from the elections date, that turned the Presidential race into a close one from one where Hillary was winning running away up to that time.
Trump, obviously, is a very perceptive man who saw what the professional politicians couldn’t and worked to exploit their inability to pivot and was able to get massive support for a lie which promised to recreate the conditions and prejudices and warts of a long departed america embellished by a fortress, monolithic walled outlook led by an unrepentant dictator.
I think that a Bush Tea BBE type entity is at at work here preparing America to lead the World into the Last days.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You are dangerously perceptive…:)…for the fight is NOT against flesh and blood, but between principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Boss, just as jungle animals are hapless participants in the midst of a human battle field. so are human beings in the midst of spiritual warfare.
Fortunately, by donning the “whole armour of God”, some of us are able to come under the automatic protection of the ultimate superpower….meanwhile, ..
The others can continue smartly …to try to rationalise the thoughts and actions of forces, minds, and weapons that are way beyond their pay grade.

The NYT reduced from 84%, earlier in the day, to 54% Clinton’s odds of winning.
Trump moved to 51%.
This is ominous!
The electoral map generally looking uncertain for Clinton in all the battleground states.

@are-we-there-yet November 8, 2016 at 8:54 PM #
Trump is not “perceptive” at all. He is a racist in the mold of characters like LePen in France and Wilders in Holland, but with a much deeper vein of raw racism and white supremacist hatred to mine in the USA, he has more electoral success than his European precursors. In Jan Werner-Mueller’s recent book ‘What Is Populism?’ he points out that as a populist Trump defines “the people” as a particular subset of Americans, white people. This makes his populism inextricable from his racism. -
The DOW futures down 500 points
Mexican peso hits the floor.
This is a going to be long night
-
Go Trump!
-
@are-we-there-yet at 8:54 PM …. I must agree with @PTL, I don’t believe that Trump is necessarily perceptive re professional politicians because he has been an insider ‘politician’ all his life.
He has been perceptive (finally) about the timing and tone of the racist underbelly of his country and fortunately for him he had an excellent opponent…excellently bad.
Trump, if he wins which now seems very likely, has mined the hate and anger that permeates his country. Do not dismiss the fact that since Ron Reagan and even before that there has been a consistent effort by Republicans to be racist and divisive.
Trump harnessed that angst.
How does one mock disabled folks, and do all the things he does …just last week he blatantly lied about what President Obama did with a heckler and yet his crowd embraced him more.
How can one really project that type behaviour with standard polling metrics.
This man is the end result of years of Republican voter suppression, immigration anger and in the last eight years anger of a Black president.
He had the best possible opponent who was as unpopular as he was and he has beaten her!
It is what it is. And incidentally ‘forces’ all have an individual as their face. In that regard there are inextricable as one begets the other. The Republican force has rolled on over the years…Trump did not arise from that force but he most aptly co-opted it to suit his megalomaniacal needs.
Now let’s see how this force governs with this Trump face…the country and world are in for a very rough ride.
This looks like a Trump massacre. What a rejection of the Clintons and too Obama if it holds up. Wow!
A rejection of the much ballyhooed Republican need to embrace Hispanics. A rejection of many things Americans thought were sacrosanct as a part of their republic…we can only see where they go from here.

Urbanocrats vs Ruralicans.
-
I am sorry Barbadians are so foolish that they perceive Trump as a racist but do not perceive Hillary as a racist.
Hillary was the one who supported Barry Goldwater and helped lock black men up
-
I am going to have a hard time forgiving the American electorate for saddling the world with this racist scumbag.
-
@chad99999
Trump is the most racist American presidential candidate of my lifetime, and I remember George Wallace. He overtly appealed to the most racist elements of a broadly racist society. It looks like a stunning victory for the KKK and the American Nazi Party, both of which endorsed Trump. -
@Chad, don’t be JA with this asine she is worst tom-foolery. This Bajan calls that despicable man who designated that Black people should not live in his buildings RACIST. The man who pini-pointed Black folks at his rallies with the pejorative ‘there is my Black person’ or some such. A man who embraced all types of alt-right racist rhetoric.
That does not negate any racist behaviour by Clinton but please stop insulting people’s intelligence with your absolute stupid remarks.
And that said, let me apologize …this is not a good moment for right thinking people and your comments rubbed the wrong way.
The man has clearly displayed his racist tenor…so support the racist and embrace it. Period.
-
@chad99999
Trump running close LoL.
Where is MB!
-
It comes down to Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada. Hillary will win Nevada because of the Hispanics there.
So it is up to Michigan. If Trump can win Michigan, and he deserves to because of Clinton’s bad votes on trade issues, Trump is president-elect.
Go Trump.
-
BU’s simple analysis, Sanders was not able to get millennials out neither Obamma got Blacks out to the polls. People also voting anti establishment.

@chad99999
If Trump wins BU gives you the opportunity to state what the headline of this blog should be changed to. Go for it!
-
@Chad
Barry Goldwater was 50 years ago, Trump’s racism is today
-
If Trump wins this race and that possibility is staring us in the face all the prognosticators and all the pollsters like the much-vaunted Nate Silver of fivethirtyeight.com and Larry Sabato of the Center for Politics U of V should never be allowed near any polls again.
Barack Obama was ridiculed by Republicans for having minimal legislative experience prior to becoming President now the US is on the verge of electing a man who has never faced the Electorate before with a Republican Congress and Republican Senate.
People get the Gov’t they deserve
Fasten your seatbelts turbulence ahead.

The financial markets are in Brexit like spin. Fasten seatbelts for sure!

The headline should be “Drain the Swamp”

I hope there will not be any Bregret as well.

Canadian citizen and and immigration site has crashed. All those Americans trying to see whether they can move to Canada

The financial markets are in Brexit like spin. Fasten seatbelts for sure!The markets are vastly over valued so it is just a matter of time before the correction take place no matter which candidate wins.
-
@ BNY @1:27.AM
The financial market becomes volatile in reaction to political uncertainty. It will settle in a day or two.
-
@SS
The Cdn headline will be “Draft Dodgers II”
But don’t sweat, the Liberals will welcome them, cause they are all votes for them? -
@Bajan in NY
There is no historical behaviour to predict how the world and the financial markets will react to Trump. This is virgin territory.
-
What concerned me most during the run up to the election was the planned false reporting by the corporate media and some of the major internet sites. The election was always much closer than they were purposely misreporting, and only folks who had the opportunity to hear or read news from alternative sources that the election would be a dog fight and not a cake walk for Hillary.
-
@Bajan in NY
Good comment/observation.
BU had chad99999, Moneybrain and GP.
-
One of my favourite commentators, Van Jones, thinks your headline should be “White-lash”.
-
The Obamas were not able to translate their reported popularity to Hillary votes?
What happened?
