Sir David Seale recently accused Sandals Barbados of preferring Jamaican Appleton Rum at the expense of the local product. The hotel management responded by labelling Sir Davidโ€™s accusation ridiculous and mischievous. BU understands Sandals Barbados stocks a Mount Gay product for display purposes and that ALL rum used for mixing is Appelton rum.

See a copy of a letter Sir David has addressed to the Nation newspaper to defend his good name.

  1. wuh kind of rubbish response is that, he is the accuser , why did he not go to SAndals as requested by management and do all the fact finding instead of lashing out at the newspaper, proper etiquette would dictate that a person of his calibrate and not an idiot would have first check his facts by going to sandals and seeing first hand before getting into a war of words with sandals and now the newspaper
sandals does not have to provide one dam thing after all it is mr, seales making the charge and if his charges are factual he would have provide proof to validate those allegations,
what mr, seales needs to do is politely renege and leave well alone

  2. correction on the word calibrate, “caliber”

Based on information received relative to the rum sold at Sandals Resorts, Iโ€™m inclined to believe Seale that the rum sold by Sandals is predominantly the Appleton brand.

I will re-post the following contributions I made on another blog pertaining to this issue for BUโ€™s perusal.

The following was taken from Sandalsโ€™ website:

Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, an iconic Jamaica product and internationally acclaimed rum brand, is poured at all Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean further enhancing the Luxury Includedยฎ resort companyโ€™s five-star product offering as well as providing huge exposure to the rum brand via Sandals Resortsโ€™ extensive guest and travel agent network.

โ€œโ€ฆIโ€™m delighted that we are able to join forces to offer the best of the Caribbean at our resorts. While Sandals is a global brand, we remain a family business that is passionately committed to our country of Jamaica and the region as a whole, and therefore itโ€™s great to see two local brands joining together to offer a true Caribbean experience and continue to exceed our guestsโ€™ expectationsโ€โ€ฆโ€ฆ. Adam Stewart CEO of Sandals Resorts International

    <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

There was an article written by Gay Nagle Myers in the September 26, 2012 edition of the โ€œTravel Weeklyโ€ entitled

โ€œSandals resorts bring back Appleton rumโ€.

SANDALS RESORTS RENEWED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH APPLETON ESTATE JAMAICA RUM, WHICH WILL ONCE AGAIN BE POURED AT ALL 17 SANDALS AND BEACHES RESORTS IN THE CARIBBEAN.

Appleton had been the rum of choice at Sandals and Beaches prior to a two-year agreement with Demerara Distillersโ€™ El Dorado rum brand. That deal just concluded.

โ€œWhile Sandals is a global brand, we remain a family business committed to our country of Jamaica and the region as a whole. Itโ€™s great to see two local brands joining together to offer a Caribbean experience for our guests,โ€ said Adam Stewart, Sandals CEO.

Appleton Estate is the oldest sugar estate and distillery in continuous production in Jamaica. The estate is located in the Nassau Valley in the parish of St. Elizabeth on Jamaicaโ€™s southwest coast.

All BU has to do is read the above articles and make your own conclusions.

  4. It is clear Sir David is prepared to defend his position and he would obviously have done his investigation to support his accusation. Sir David is a rum manufacturer and knows his way around the industry. Sandals will have to clarify or shut the hell up.

  5. Doesn’t surprise me! Bars, and hoteliers for years have simply emptied a cheaper brand into a more expensive brands bottle once emptied. With the amount of liquor being dispensed at these resorts, it would probably keep their costs down.

Why wouldn’t the Nation simply vet his claim as he says to prove him wrong. Sandals is just in a state of denial, much like government….! How dare you question us……

  6. St George's Dragon Avatar
    St George’s Dragon

The sensible thing would have been for Sir David to have phoned his counterpart at Mount Gay and asked how much rum they sold to Sandals. Well, if he didn’t, I would be surprised.

  7. David

Why is it so obvious that Seale would have done an investigation? Even if he did, why is his word, as a party to an alleged ‘disagreement’, to form the basis of your conclusion, and taking sides? Are we not talking about a class conflict here, how is that our business when the government has already given the L, the R and the eleven stars to Sandals, on the one hand? And Seale, himself, has long been a local oligarch! What entitles Seale to make these demands?

  8. As recent as March 1, 2015, a guest who stayed at Sandals in St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, writing under the name โ€œdamasust, Aberdeen, United Kingdomโ€, posted a number of concerns, on Trip Advisor, about the hotel.

Again I will repost, in part, excerpts from his comments:

    Re: โ€œSandals โ€“ seeing some things I donโ€™t likeโ€ โ€“ yesterday, 4:57 [March 1, 2015]

    5) I did not compare Sandals to the Hilton. My POINT WAS THAT EVEN AN INTERNATIONAL HOTEL UNDERSTANDS THAT THE 1ST CHOICE RUM IN BARBADOS SHOULD BE A LOCAL RUM.

    6) I am not interested in any deal which Sandals made with Appleton to provide rum at their resorts. This was no doubt made before the Barbados franchise was even thought of. Perhaps it is the Government of Barbados which is at fault for not making a Bajan rum being first choice a condition?

As I have previously stated, the above comments were taken from Trip Advisorsโ€™ website, from someone who stayed there.

Will the management of Sandals also refute the comments made by one of their guest and also label them as being โ€œridiculous and mischievousโ€?

Will management question the integrity of Trip Advisor?

Why should we believe the mouthing of a group of idiots who have not stayed or even visited the hotel, but whose only concern is to defend the governmentโ€™s decision to offer a number of concessions to Stewartโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ. over that of someone who ACTUALLY stayed there?

  9. Does anybody in Barbados “negotiate” ?

Why couldn’t the Barbados rum producers come up with a proposal to entice Sandals to offer their rums.

If Appleton’s is the rum of Sandals so be it.

Barbados rum is also a quality rum and I am sure something can be “worked out”.

  10. @Artax

Did Sandals management respond to the last TripAdvisor comment you posted?

  11. Pacha et al

Sir David Seale is already Rich! BUT if Sandals is not using Bajan products it costs potential Bajan jobs. Seale did not ask Sandals to buy Rum from his company!
So you dont want Seale looking out for Bajans?

Do you know Sir David has helped many Bajans start their own business? Did you know he sells products that Bajans want and need at low/ reasonable prices?

When wunna gin learn from successful people instead of hating success? Sir David will be rich anyway, so why encourage others to have a bad attitude instead of learning how he and others worked and used their brains to be rich?

  12. It is also interesting to note that Adrian Loveridge, in an article posted on Barbados Free Press, dated December 14, 2013 4:21am, mentioned he and his wife โ€œexperienced a staycation at Sandals Casuarinaโ€, for a period of 4 days. Loveridge also stated the following:

โ€œAs the birthplace of rum, not a single Barbadian produced brand was available at any Sandals outlet!โ€

โ€œThere were a number of surprises, especially the current very limited use of locally available products. These included Banks Beer (draft and cans), Pine Hill milk, BICO ice cream, BBC bottled water and some soft drinks.โ€

But, perhaps things may have changed by now.

  13. David March 4, 2015 at 9:32 PM #

โ€œ@Artax: Did Sandals management respond to the last TripAdvisor comment you posted?โ€

No, David, Sandals’ management did not respond to that personโ€™s comments.

  14. quoting adrien articles about sandals is like asking the devil his opinion about jesus christ .

  15. sandals respond

For us, the important thing is knowledge. There is no way we can operate in Barbados [and not stock local rum]. Tourists come here for sun, sea and sometimes the products, such as rum. We have some of the best rum in the world so it would be to our detriment not to carry local rum,โ€ he added. to David Seales
    ”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””
If what management say is not true this would one of Sandals worst PR nightmares for barbados and totally unnecessary and the need to response would have been foolish

the sandals brand is known for being responsible, i fail to see how a world renowned establishment known for good public relations would take the risk of engaging with seales openly solely based on an untruth and fully aware that any response would be scrutinize

  16. Just Asking – How popular is ESA Fields Rum among Bajans ?

  17. @Colonel Buggy March 4, 2015 at 10:53 PM “Just Asking โ€“ How popular is ESA Fields Rum among Bajans?”

    I wouldn’t know.

I only drink Mount Gay Extra Old.

  18. First things first, Sandals is not a Hilton, Holiday Inn, Marriottโ€™s, Fairmont, or Princess, so to suggest that hotel brand is a โ€œworld renowned establishmentโ€ is not only erroneous, but also a monstrous perversion of common sense.

If Sandals is โ€œknown for good public relationsโ€, then it would have been prudent [and good business sense] for the hotelโ€™s management to respond to comments made by their guests on Trip Advisor.

Take Stephanieโ€™s Hotel, located in Massade, Gros Islet, St. Lucia, for example. It is a second rate hotel, which is not as popular nor can its amenities be compared with those of Sandals. Yet, every comment on Trip Advisor, posted by their guest, is given a response by management. This is good public relation practices.

Obviously, there may be no doubt Sandals may โ€œSTOCKโ€ Barbadian made rum. However, the real question is, if these rums are first choice for guests, to be used in cocktails and other rum beverages, or if Appleton takes precedence over all others.

  19. We can be sure that Sandals has a great deal with Appleton at a great price for them. Volume discounts for 17 properties.

Bajans should want to maximise the total number of jobs and $$$$$$ we can benefit from Sandals.

  20. Artaxerxes March 4, 2015 at 11:40 PM #

Obviously, there may be no doubt Sandals may โ€œSTOCKโ€ Barbadian made rum. However, the real question is, if these rums are first choice for guests, to be used in cocktails and other rum beverages, or if Appleton takes precedence over all others.

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Obviously as Sandals stated they stock Barbados Rum.. However David Seales said they did Not,
and if according to Seale they did not, Your last response of whether sandals use the rum as a first choice for guest would be NO.

You are attempting to twist and turn david seale original statement alleging that sandals did not carry barbados rum by forwarding your own version, “classic”artexeres the same benign perceptions use in all arguments to formulate a conclusion.

  21. Sir David has accused Sandals of ‘stocking’ Barbados rum for display purposes, Jamaican Appleton is used to mix drinks. Sandals need to respond especially given they commitment to buy local. Barbados rum is world class. Barbadians need to demand the truth, for too long we have been having non Bajan entities rubbing crap in our faces.

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
    David Seale allegations (quote)

โ€œIndeed, I doubt a single Barbadian would believe that after all the โ€˜freenessesโ€™ given to them by Government, that Sandals would refuse to stock any Barbadian rum brand, preferring instead to stock and promote Appleton Rum from Jamaica.
โ€œThat action is a massive insult to an industry that is contributing in a significant way to the foreign exchange earnings of Barbados,โ€ he said.

  23. Ignorance is boundless.

  24. Hairoun versus Banks in Barbados…

  25. It is time Bajans embrace local first, it is what the other island do. We need to send the message – LOUDLY!

    Ignorance is boundless.

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

only when you (david) are able to spin your version of issues and introduce them as Facts,
Saying that David Seale accused Sandals of stocking Barbados Rum is not a fact and a blatant untruth which you have stated in your above comment,

  27. When you are not dealing from a position of strength you accept a lot of things that you wouldn’t otherwise. The govts fault But it is sad one of the best products in Barbados isn’t good enough…wait…. I saw someone write Jamaican prostitutes are being brought in to the country so make that two of your best products

โ€œYou are attempting to twist and turn david seale original statement alleging that sandals did not carry barbados rum by forwarding your own version, โ€œclassicโ€artexeres the same benign perceptions use in all arguments to formulate a conclusion.โ€

English Language 101 โ€“ Lesson 1: The word โ€œMAYโ€ is used to express โ€œPOSSIBILITY OR PROBABILITYโ€.

Now, pray tell me, how can anyone, with reasonable common sense, interpret a sentence with the word โ€œMAYโ€, which I used to express there is a POSSIBILITYโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ. as โ€œattempting to twist and turn David Sealeโ€™s original statementโ€? You have once again proven that your common sense has been monstrously perverted.

Letโ€™s be honest, your contributions are not composed with logical train of thoughts, nor do you ever demonstrate you have an intimate knowledge of (or experience in) the issues being discussed. Because you are the DLPโ€™s persuasive political propagandist on BU, these contributions are always written within this context.

But what else is expected from people who have succeeded in butchering the English Language. You lot have constantly demonstrated your knowledge of the subject is limited, so too are your COMPREHENSION skills. That is why itโ€™s so easy for me to prove time and time again, youโ€™re an idiot.

As such, since you are mandated to defend the DLP, hence โ€œthe same benign perceptions use in all arguments to formulate a conclusion.โ€

The conviction with which you write about Sandals and Butch Stewart would give anyone the impression that one of you is the hotelsโ€™ corporate communications manager. Has any member of the AC consortium ever even stayed at ANY of the Sandals hotels?

However, all and sundry on BU know the REAL (and ONLY) reason why you are so passionate about Sandals is because you are duty bound to defend and justify why this DLPโ€™s administration gave Stewart all those concessions.

  29. People, you are here quarreling about RUM. The cause of woman beating every weekend and bank holidays, car accidents, diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease. The Government has to spend millions of dollar when moping up the effects of RUM DRINKING!!

  30. No NO NO we are not talking about rum

  31. If 300 years work and generations of trial and error to produce the best rum in the world is not good enough then Barbados slavery was for nothing

  32. @Artax: “Because you are the DLPโ€™s persuasive political propagandist on BU, these contributions are always written within this context…., so too are your COMPREHENSION skills. That is why itโ€™s so easy for me to prove time and time again, youโ€™re an idiot….As such, since you are mandated to defend the DLP.โ€————————-

Artax, I would disagree on one point only. The AC team are not ‘idiots’.

They are much more insidious than that because they PRETEND to be idiots; constantly displaying the ‘monstrous perversions of common sense’ as you label them.

With an idiot you know that the person has a limited scope and thus you can shun her as s/he can’t formulate any proper plans.

But people who mask themselves as idiots and who do have a clear scope of understanding are infinitely more dangerous as they will incite others to riot with their seemingly idiotic ramblings.

So you and others must be applauded when these idiotic ramblings are laid naked to show all the warts and imperfections of the illogical lack of commonsense.

These masqueraders (and all similar) must be made as ineffective as the idiots they would pretend to be,

  33. ac March 5, 2015 at 5:46 AM #

The following excerpt was taken from SANDALSโ€™ WEB-SITE:

โ€œAppleton Estate Jamaica Rum, an iconic Jamaica product and internationally acclaimed rum brand, is poured at all Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean further enhancing the Luxury Includedยฎ resort companyโ€™s five-star product offering as well as providing huge exposure to the rum brand via Sandals Resortsโ€™ extensive guest and travel agent network.โ€

A guess staying at Sandals in St. Lawrence expressed disappointment that the hotel did not have any local rum as its first choice.

Since you have undertaken the role as corporate communications specialist and chief spokesperson on BU for Sandals Hotels, there is only one way to resolve the issue surrounding if what Seale said is true, re โ€œSandals would refuse to stock any Barbadian rum brand, preferring instead to stock and promote Appleton Rum from Jamaica.โ€

Present to BU any correspondence, documentation or articles from Sandalsโ€™ official web-site, [other than relying on โ€œhear sayโ€ from Sandalsโ€™ management], that would substantiate managementโ€™s position and refute Sealeโ€™s allegations at the same time. BRING PROOF.

SIMPLEโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ thatโ€™s all you have to do. If you canโ€™t do any of the above, then STFU.

  34. Supports Seale on this one.Serves us right with the bullshit having a world view.Common sense. How you treat yourself at home , others will come treat you the same way.At least somebody have some gumption to call it as it is.Well done Sir David , dont let them Stangrave your Bentom, they are talking shite.

  35. Lawson:

You are equating this argument to a country who would have spent 300 years perfecting the art of PROSTITUTION and being VERY proud of it. All of it is the same immoral beast. Ask Thailand and her children who are denigrated by various sexual acts by nice white men who come form the motherland. Slavery produced more than RUM; we are and still remain her products and that we survived to live and get here in some form of social and economic comfort talking a lot of foolishness sometimes, we should be very PROUD, even Money Brain.

  36. @ David
It is time Bajans embrace local first, it is what the other island do. We need to send the message โ€“ LOUDLY!
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    Not too loudly though David….
Remember that beggars CANNOT be choosers….

When we listened to Miller and Enuff, led by Owen, and went about selling off the family silver to all and sundry in search of US $$$$ with which we could buy such luxury items as 5 and 6 series BMWs, Benzes, build fancy buildings to house unproductive public workers, invest in Greenland, CLICO and a new “sugar factory” …. we were selling off our birthrights to be CHOOSERS…

Right now we can’t choose one shiite….

Not the food imported by MASSY from Trickidad..
Not the Banking policies of the Canadians or Trickidadians…
Not the Price of oil – Not even the trickle from Woodbourne…
Not the rum policy of Sandals -who already screwed us at Paradise
    Not Light &Power’s developmental policies]
Not Cable& Wireless/Flow mergers or prices or anything…
Not the Nation/VOB policies or priorities
    Not ANY SHIITE of value…

shiite man….we can’t even choose where LIAT headquarters will be – even though we pay MOST of its costs….

Even those few “choices” that remain local are the reserves of the Bizzys and his ilk …who have purchased these rights with political bribes…
This is why we have high fees for so-called ‘desal’ water; why we PAY to have our refuse taken by Bizzy ..to be repackaged and SOLD again to us in various forms, AND then we have to pay shiite taxes over and above that….

Now Sinckler and Stuart have sold out last birthright to Sandals. For the next 40 years we will be prostituting ourselves to Butch’s tourists while not even getting any tax benefits….

He right to bring Jamaican rum……

    WHAT CHOOSE WHAT??!!
WE ARE A SET OF BROYAL BRASS BOWLS BEGGERS…..

  37. @arterexes…jacka..ss why don,t you deal with the facts as presented instead of always resorting to unleashing verbal attacks.
what little comprehension skills i have does not play into the equation and facts as there are presented in the issue. your bold faced attempt to demean ac shows your vindictive temperment to deal the facts of any given issues when presented honestly
BTW i am used to your bull shit talk concerning me and it does not get in my way of progress neither does it stop me from stating my views

  38. @ David

Where were these exalted persons when the country, like a sheeple, was signing WTO regulations into law. That ‘crap’ could be rubbed in the Bajan face is indeed a much bigger issue that the Seale spat. That issue allows any Bajan product or industry to be displaced in these ways.

Again we ask. Why try to move heaven and earth to please Seale, or even Stewart, in these circumstances? Who cared about Bajan jobs and industry when it was clear, that WTO – Uruguay Round, would have led to this? This ship has long sailed!

  39. Arterexes you really take yourself seriously with your one man orchestration of twisting and spinning skillfully using political jobby and presenting them as fact that only a pseudo- intellectual would agree to.
what limited knoweldge i have presented here on this issue have not been given by what i think but are indeed the words of both parties involved
Your ridiculous accusation of labels on me shows you as one of a political yard fowl of the ” highest order”

  40. Bushie

Your 8:29 comment is exactly our point!

We remember growing in this here fair land. Where Seale had a racehorse called ‘Benthom’ and Bajans use to behave as though they were the real owners of Seale’s racehorse.

Maybe 20 or 30 years have passed and David, both Davids, still behaving like there is no differences between interests. David (BU) is still hailing for Seale’s racehorse! LOL

  41. Lemmy wrote

Slavery produced more than RUM; we are and still remain her products and that we survived to live and get here in some form of social and economic comfort talking a lot of foolishness sometimes, we should be very PROUD, even Money Brain. END

What exactly is your point? I have always been a very Proud Bajan. My first relative arrived in 1630.

True love is when you care enough to criticise and participate on here! If you follow what I write you will see that I am trying to present a semblance of balance since far too many pun here are very one sided on some issues. As soon as they see a rich or white guy like Sir David he must be the enemy. WRONG! He has helped more black people inn terms of jobs, business and reasonably priced food than most the Politicians.

  42. “Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, an iconic Jamaica product and internationally acclaimed rum brand, is poured at all Sandals Resorts throughout the Caribbean further enhancing the Luxury Includedยฎ resort companyโ€™s five-star product”

Does anyone know what the agreement is between Sandals and Appleton?

Would the Bajan rum producers be willing to sell rum to Sandals at the same price that was negotiated with Appletons?

A lot can be achieved by “negotiating” as opposed to “demanding”.

  43. @Bushie

You sure love to talk about Political Bribes, when in actuality it is EXTORTION by Pols and Customs people.

TRy to think. Which successful Businessman, PAYS ANYTHING to ANYBODY that they dont HAVE to.

Bushie paying EXTORTION/ shakedown $$$$ is a MAJOR COST only idiots volunteer to payout $$$$$$$!

U know better but cant resist the opportunity to influence stupid people!

  44. again you arterexes display a tactic to twist and turn by presenting what is posted as evedience concerning the issue on the Sandals website however what you failed to address that at the time
that statement was issued there was no Sandals Barbados .therefore the need not to include would have been obvious

  45. ac March 5, 2015 at 8:59 AM #

โ€œArterexes you really take yourself seriouslyโ€ฆโ€ฆ.โ€

Yes, I do agree that I really take myself seriously, and arrogantly so too. Because I have (and will continue in doing so) demonstrated, beyond reasonable doubt, that I am more educated, intelligent and intellectually sound that all the members of your consortium, masquerading itself as AC on BU.

I have been able to provide proof to substantiate the possibility exists that Seale may have a point. You have not been able to prove he is wrong, but continue to rely on โ€œhear sayโ€ from Sandalsโ€™ management, who also has not presented any documentation (so far) to prove Seale is a liar.

Rather than trying to make the topic about YOU, which is the norm, you should concentrate on being factual, rational and coherent in your contributions, instead of ALWAYS to put forward a case for the Democratic Labour Party. Iโ€™m sure everyone will agree that, in your futile attempt, by โ€œ(un)skillfully using political jobbyโ€ to constantly defend the DLP, you are โ€œa political yard fowl of the highest orderโ€.

And talk about โ€œdemeaning ACโ€?? Surely, even you must concede that Iโ€™ve not been able to demean you in the way you have done to Jeff Broomes or Lisa Marshall. The shoe is on the other foot and now you are crying foul.

But I will not be drawn into a jousting match with someone [such as yourself] who is not equipped the level of intelligence necessary to make the task intellectually stimulating.

    I definitely have your number.

  46. The former Prime Minister of Antigua before he was defeated in the last general election stated boldly Antigua will NEVER layoff civil servants. Barbados is the only country allowing our neighbours to smear crap over our faces. Good to see the PM of Barbados pushing back at Caricom level we will not allow Caricom visitors to enter willy nilly on a six month visa.

  47. At last a subject that Bajans can get passionate about-RUM- when it comes to issues like the CCJ and the absence of any Bajans on the Court they are so blasรฉ โ€“ we aint good enough- but Butch is a Jamaican and that is where his heart lies he would be loath to stock Bajan rum in preference to Jamaican rum.

Before wunnah get carried away I notice that both distillers are owned by Corporate giants with headquarters outside the islands where the spirits are produced so before I jump on this โ€œbuy localโ€ bandwagon which countries are the profits repatriated to?

  48. ac March 5, 2015 at 9:37 AM #

โ€œagain you arterexes display a tactic to twist and turn by presenting what is posted as evedience concerning the issue on the Sandals website however what you failed to address that at the time that statement was issued there was no Sandals Barbados .therefore the need not to include would have been obviousโ€ฆโ€

There you go again, displaying your ignorance once more. I will tell you once more, you donโ€™t THINK. And by the way, the word is EVIDENCE not โ€œevedienceโ€, as you continually use.

When two entities enter into a CONTRACT, it becomes a LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT. Note, โ€œSANDALS RESORTS RENEWED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH APPLETON ESTATE JAMAICA RUM, WHICH WILL ONCE AGAIN BE POURED AT ALL 17 SANDALS AND BEACHES RESORTS IN THE CARIBBEAN.โ€ This means that Sandals is OBLIGATED to USE or SHOWCASE Appleton rum to take predominance over ALL OTHER RUMS.

Even though Sandals Barbados was not in existence at the time of the agreement, entering into partnership with Appleton obviously suggests that Appleton rum will be the rum USED by Sandals in ALL of its resorts, whether they already existed or would be established in the future.

Unless Sandals would seek to breach the contract by not adhering to the agreement or there was a stipulation in the contract whereby Appleton rum will only be โ€œpouredโ€ in those Sandals in existence at the time of signing.

  49. David Seale may not be an idiot but Bajans surely are. Any people that perpetually allows minorities to control their economy, politics, society must be the real idiots. It’s even worse when these idiots are the ‘educated’ variety.
