Submitted by Caribbean Against Apartheid (CAAP)

On Saturday 29th November 2014 the Barbados based group โCaribbean Against Apartheid in Palestineโ [CAAP] will be observing the sixty-seventh anniversary of the United Nations resolution to partition Palestine between its residents who had lived there for countless centuries, and recently arrived Zionists from Europe, with the majority of the land going to the minority recently arrived Zionists.
In an exclusive comment, CAAP Secretary, Attorney-at-law Mr. Lalu Hanuman, said: โThis despicable and racist resolution has directly led to contemporary global security and civil liberty concerns, from chaos in the Middle East, to 9/11, to increased Airport Security, to erosion of our basic civil liberties, to ISIS today. We are all victims of this insidious United Nationsโ resolution, but the biggest victims are the Palestinian People who have had their land stolen from underneath their feet, and who have had to live for generations in squalid refugee camps, or under Zionist military occupation, while the Zionists have been subsidised with huge annual financial and military Western grants.
This is not about religion, this about fundamental human rights. We in the Caribbean who have endured oppression in all its nefarious forms, from chattel slavery to indentured slavery, should be in the forefront of solidarity actions with our Palestinian brothers and sistersโ.
This free public event will start with a film at 7 p.m. in UWIโs ALT room, and then have a panel discussion, and a Q&A session, followed by free refreshments.
Further information from 420-2022.

Jerusalem Terrorist’s Mother: ‘Praise Allah He’s a Martyr’

The mother of Abdelrahman Shaludi, the Hamas terrorist who last Wednesday murdered three-month-old Chaya Zisel Braun hy”d and 22-year-old Karen Mosquera hy”d with his car in Jerusalem, is a “martyr” according to his mother.
Shaludi’s family raised a ruckus after police limited the number of attendees at the terrorist’s Sunday night funeral at the feet of the Temple Mount to 20, and had the burial be held late at night.
The steps were taken to avoid violent Arab rioting, which occurred before the funeral in any case, as Arab residents of the Shiloach (Silwan in Arabic) neighborhood where Shaludi hails from clashed with police outside the dead terrorist’s home, as the family then refused to begin the funeral.
In the end, the family and the police agreed to let the funeral take place with a reduced number of participants, and the funeral of the Hamas terrorist was held in the Israeli capital without additional attacks on law enforcement forces.
During the funeral, Shaludi’s mother said she was proud of her son who gave honor to the family when he became a “shahid” (martyr), adding repeatedly “praise to Allah.”
The praise and lionization of the terrorist echoes statements by Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah faction, which pledged “loyalty” to Shaludi, and PA chief negotiator Saeb Erekat who justified the murders Shaludi committed. Likewise, a senior aid to Abbas was quick to praise the terrorist murder of the three-month-old, calling the terrorist a “hero.”
The Almagor terror victims’ organization had protested returning the body of the terrorist, who was shot as he tried to flee the Ammunition Hill light rail station where he plowed his car into a group of pedestrians.

The PA nor Hamas give a dam about the citizens of Gaza; Gaza could have been a Paradise, IF* the BILLIONS received from the international community, was spent looking after civil projects, but NO! Instead they spent BILLIONS on Missiles, building underground tunnels, to DESTROY Israel and Jews! These are the FACTS, not the unfounded MYTHS, and ‘turnspeak’ Arab propaganda against Israel. The BIGGEST ENEMY of the so-called Palestinians ARE* their Arab brothers, NOT Israel, these are the FACTS, empirically confirmed by the REALITY of TRUTH!
“Given the amount of aid (approximately $1.45 billion in 2009) the PA has received from the international community, it is shocking that more than half a million Palestinians under PA control are being forced by their own leaders to remain in squalid camps. The PA has failed to build a single house to allow even one family to move out of a refugee camp into permanent housing. In the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians had insisted before the disengagement that Israel demolish all the homes of the Jewish settlers so they could build high-rise apartment buildings for refugees. Six years later, not a single brick had been laid.”
We are discussing WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT Israeli Palestine Apartheid not south Africa, as I said before Allah and the GOD of the Bible is not the same God, our God sent his son to died for us, including you, I’m praying that JESUS will come into your heart and save you. and you will stop preaching hate to those who do not agree with your allah. I hope those University students stay home, because one of your clerk said he will not rest until a Islamic flag is over the white house, MAY GOD HELP US. AND PROTECT BARBADOS FROM ISLAM
@Bimlady
You can’t explain how a nation that you claim is chosen by god would support such evil against Black People in Apartheid South Africa.
It’s ok to learn new things like the fact that your jesus said Allah in Aramaic.
And it is NOT my Allah since I never proclaim any religious belief.
Are you aware that close to 20% of Palestinians are your Christian brothers and sisters? But since they aren’t “chosen” that doesn’t mean much to you.
Still do you know how Christians are treated by the chosen zionists in Israel?
What do they say about your Jesus?
In the 2nd video Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the great zionist supporter of Israel, Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson on Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn to seek his blessings.
On his website, “Jews & Hassidic Gentiles Unite to save America”:
Under the heading: “Who was Jesus?”
Jesus is called a false prophet who used sorcery & black magic, a worshiper of idols, a sinner who led Jews astray into idolatry.
That Jesus was sexually immoral, worshiped statues of stone (a brick is mentioned), was cut off from the Jewish people for his wickedness
He learned witchcraft in Egypt and, to perform miracles, used procedures that involved cutting his fleshโwhich is also explicitly banned in the Bible.

I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that the topic may be more than mare “yakitty yak” to this elderly Palestinian man(christian) who was degraded in such a way that he asked to be shot for wanting to take some food to his wife for Christmas.
Has the challenge of an over-abundance of information lead to the ease of moral equivalency?
Despite these postings being a ‘headache’ to some, its obvious that most do NOT know, or are not familiar with these FACTS. not the MYTHS of Islamic propaganda, the down right gross LIES, and malicious Arab ‘turnspeak’ a deliberate INVERSION of the FACTS and EVIDENCE, to make the VICTIM, Israel look and appear as the aggressor.
MYTH
โThe creation of Israel in 1948 changed political and border arrangements between independent states that had existed for centuries.โ
FACT
The boundaries of Middle East countries were arbitrarily fixed by the Western powers after Turkey was defeated in World War I and the French and British mandates were set up. The areas allotted to Israel under the UN partition plan had all been under the control of the Ottomans, who had ruled Palestine from 1517 until 1917.
When Turkey was defeated in World War I, the French took over the area now known as Lebanon and Syria. The British assumed control of Palestine and Iraq. In 1926, the borders were redrawn and Lebanon was separated from Syria.
Britain installed the Emir Faisal, who had been deposed by the French in Syria, as ruler of the new kingdom of Iraq. In 1922, the British created the emirate of Transjordan, which incorporated all of Palestine east of the Jordan River. This was done so that the Emir Abdullah, whose family had been defeated in tribal warfare in the Arabian peninsula, would have a Kingdom to rule. None of the countries that border Israel became independent until the Twentieth Century. Many other Arab nations became independent after Israel. 1
MYTH
โIsrael has been an expansionist state since its creation.โ
FACT
Israelโs boundaries were determined by the United Nations when it adopted the partition resolution in 1947. In a series of defensive wars, Israel captured additional territory. On numerous occasions, Israel has withdrawn from these areas.
As part of the 1974 disengagement agreement, Israel returned territories captured in the 1967 and 1973 wars to Syria.
Under the terms of the 1979 Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty, Israel withdrew from the Sinai peninsula for the third time. It had already withdrawn from large parts of the desert area it captured in its War of Independence. After capturing the entire Sinai in the 1956 Suez conflict, Israel relinquished the peninsula to Egypt a year later.
In September 1983, Israel withdrew from large areas of Lebanon to positions south of the Awali River. In 1985, it completed its withdrawal from Lebanon, except for a narrow security zone just north of the Israeli border. That too was abandoned, unilaterally, in 2000.
After signing peace agreements with the Palestinians, and a treaty with Jordan, Israel agreed to withdraw from most of the territory in the West Bank captured from Jordan in 1967. A small area was returned to Jordan, and more than 40 percent was ceded to the Palestinian Authority. The agreement with the Palestinians also involved Israelโs withdrawal in 1994 from most of the Gaza Strip, which had been captured from Egypt in 1973.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered to withdraw from 95 percent of the West Bank and 100 percent of the Gaza Strip in a final settlement. In addition, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and his successors offered to withdraw from virtually all of the Golan Heights in exchange for peace with Syria.
In August 2005, all Israeli troops and civilians were evacuated from the Gaza Strip and the territory was turned over to the control of the Palestinian Authority. In addition, four communities in Northern Samaria that covered an area larger than the entire Gaza Strip were also evacuated as part of the disengagement plan. As a result, Israel has now withdrawn from approximately 94 percent of the territory it captured in 1967.
Negotiations continue regarding the final disposition of the remaining 6 percent (about 1,600 square miles) of the disputed territories in Israelโs possession. Israelโs willingness to make territorial concessions in exchange for security proves its goal is peace, not expansion.
MYTH
โIsrael seized the Golan Heights in a war of aggression.โ
FACT
Between 1948 and 1967, Syria controlled the Golan Heights and used it as a military stronghold from which its troops randomly sniped at Israeli civilians in the Hula Valley below, forcing children living on kibbutzim to sleep in bomb shelters. In addition, many roads in northern Israel could be crossed only after being cleared by mine-detection vehicles. In late 1966, a youth was blown to pieces by a mine while playing soccer near the Lebanon border. In some cases, attacks were carried out by Yasser Arafatโs Fatah, which Syria allowed to operate from its territory. 2
Israel repeatedly, and unsuccessfully, protested the Syrian bombardments to the UN Mixed Armistice Commission, which was charged with enforcing the cease-fire. For example, Israel went to the UN in October 1966 to demand a halt to the Fatah attacks. The response from the Syrian ambassador was defiant: โIt is not our duty to stop them, but to encourage and strengthen them.โ 3
Nothing was done to stop Syriaโs aggression. A mild Security Council resolution expressing โregretโ for such incidents was vetoed by the Soviet Union. Meanwhile, Israel was condemned by the UN when it retaliated. โAs far as the Security Council was officially concerned,โ historian Netanel Lorch wrote, โthere was an open season for killing Israelis on their own territory.โ 4
After the Six-Day War began, the Syrian air force attempted to bomb oil refineries in Haifa. While Israel was fighting in the Sinai and West Bank, Syrian artillery bombarded Israeli forces in the eastern Galilee, and armored units fired on villages in the Hula Valley below the Golan Heights.
On June 9, 1967, Israel moved against Syrian forces on the Golan. By late afternoon, June 10, Israel was in complete control of the plateau. Israelโs seizure of the strategic heights occurred only after 19 years of provocation from Syria, and after unsuccessful efforts to get the international community to act against the aggressors.
MYTH
โThe Golan has no strategic significance for Israel.โ
FACT
Syriaโdeterred by an IDF presence within artillery range of Damascusโhas kept the Golan quiet since 1974. But during this time, Syria has supported and provided a haven for numerous terrorist groups that attack Israel from Lebanon and other countries. These include the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Hezbollah and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC). In addition, Syria still deploys hundreds of thousands of troopsโas much as 75 percent of its armyโon the Israeli front near the Heights.
From the western Golan, it is only about 60 milesโwithout major terrain obstaclesโto Haifa and Acre, Israelโs industrial heartland. The Golanโrising from 400 to 1700 feet in the western section bordering on pre–1967 Israelโoverlooks the Hula Valley, Israelโs richest agricultural area. In the hands of a friendly neighbor, the escarpment has little military importance. If controlled by a hostile country, however, the Golan has the potential to again become a strategic nightmare for Israel.
Before the Six-Day War, when Israeli agricultural settlements in the Galilee came under fire from the Golan, Israelโs options for countering the Syrian attacks were constrained by the geography of the Heights. โCounterbattery fire was limited by the lack of observation from the Hula Valley; air attacks were degraded by well-dug-in Syrian positions with strong overhead cover, and a ground attack against the positionsโ.โ.โ.โโwould require major forces with the attendant risks of heavy casualties and severe political repercussions,โ U.S. Army Col. (Ret.) Irving Heymont observed. 5
When Israel eventually took these risks and stormed the Syrian positions in 1967, it suffered 115 deadโroughly the number of Americans killed during Operation Desert Storm.
Relinquishing the Golan to Syria without adequate security arrangements could jeopardize Israelโs early-warning system against surprise attack. Israel has built radar systems on Mt. Hermon, the highest point in the region. If Israel withdrew from the Golan and had to relocate these facilities to the lowlands of the Galilee, they would lose much of their strategic effectiveness.
MYTH
โSyria is willing to make peace if Israel withdraws from the Golan Heights.โ
FACT
Syriaโs position has not wavered: Israel must completely withdraw from the entire Golan Heights before President Assad will discuss what Syria might do in return. Assad has never expressed any willingness to make peace even if Israel met his demand.
Israel has been equally adamant that it would not give up any territory without knowing what Syria was prepared to concede. Israelโs willingness to trade some or all of the Golan is dependent on Syriaโs agreement to normalize relations and to sign an agreement that would bring about an end to the state of war Syria says exists between them.
The topographical concerns associated with withdrawing from the Golan Heights could be offset by demilitarization, but Israel needs to have a defensible border from which the nation can be defended with minimum losses. The deeper the demilitarization, and the better the early warning, the more flexible Israel can be regarding that border.
In addition to military security, Israelis seek the normalization of relations between the two countries. At a minimum, ties with Syria should be on a par with those Israel has with Egypt; ideally, they would be closer to the type of peace Israel enjoys with Jordan. This means going beyond a bare minimum of an exchange of ambassadors and flight links and creating an environment whereby Israelis and Syrians will feel comfortable visiting each otherโs country, engaging in trade, and pursuing other forms of cooperation typical of friendly nations.
In past negotiations, Israel has expressed a willingness to make substantial concessions, and the outline of an agreement has been essentially sitting on the table waiting for Syria to agree to the exchange of peace and security for land. In the meantime, substantial opposition exists within Israel to withdrawing from the Golan Heights. The expectation of many is that public opinion will shift if and when the Syrians sign an agreement and take measures, such as ending support for Hezbollah and closing the headquarters of terrorist organizations in Damascus, that demonstrate a genuine interest in peace. And public opinion will determine whether a treaty is concluded because of a law adopted during Prime Minister Netanyahuโs term that requires any agreement to be approved in a national referendum.
Meanwhile, Syria has continued to build up its military forces, attempted to establish a nuclear weapons program, smuggled arms to Hez-bollah in Lebanon and allowed terrorist groups to retain headquarters in Damascus, all of which have increased Israelโs concerns about Assadโs intentions. Upheaval in Syria has raised the possibility of a change in regime; nevertheless, absent dramatic changes in Syriaโs government and its attitude toward Israel, the Jewish Stateโs security will depend on its retention of military control over the Golan Heights.
โFrom a strictly military point of view, Israel would require the retention of some captured territory in order to provide militarily defensible borders.โ
โ Memorandum for the Secretary of Defense from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, June 29, 1967
MYTH
โIsrael illegally annexed the Golan Heights in 1981.โ
FACT
On December 14, 1981, the Knesset voted to annex the Golan Heights. The statute extended Israeli civilian law and administration to the residents of the Golan, replacing the military authority that had ruled the area since 1967. The law does not foreclose the option of negotiations on a final settlement of the status of the territory.
Following the Knessetโs approval of the law, Professor Julius Stone of Hastings College of the Law wrote: โThere is no rule of international law which requires a lawful military occupant, in this situation, to wait forever before [making] control and government of the territory permanent.โ.โ.โ. Many international lawyers have wondered, indeed, at the patience which led Israel to wait as long as she did.โ 6
โIt is impossible to defend Jerusalem unless you hold the high ground.โ.โ.โ. An aircraft that takes off from an airport in Amman is going to be over Jerusalem in two-and-a-half minutes, so itโs utterly impossible for me to defend the whole country unless I hold that land.โ
โLieutenant General (Ret.) Thomas Kelly,
Director of Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Gulf War 7
MYTH
โIsrael can withdraw from the West Bank with little more difficulty than was the case in Sinai.โ
FACT
Several pages of Israelโs peace treaty with Egypt are devoted to security arrangements. For example, Article III of the treatyโs annex concerns the areas where reconnaissance flights are permitted, and Article V allows the establishment of early-warning systems in specific zones.
The security guarantees, which were required to give Israel the confidence to withdraw, were only possible because the Sinai was demilitarized. They provide Israel a large buffer zone of more than 100 miles of sparsely populated desert. Today, the Egyptian border is 60 miles from Tel Aviv and 70 from Jerusalem, the nearest major Israeli cities.
The situation in the territories is entirely different. More than two million Arabs live in the West Bank, many in crowded cities and refugee camps. Most of them are located close to Israeli cities such as Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The Palestinians have rockets capable of threatening these cities as well as Ben-Gurion Airport.
It is important for Israel that the West Bank not fall into the hands of hostile neighbors. The infiltration in recent years of terrorists from the Palestinian Authority, who have committed horrific acts such as suicide bombings, illustrate the danger. The 2011 uprisings in Egypt are a reminder of the risk involved in making permanent territorial concessions to leaders whose tenure is only temporary. Israel must consider the possibility of a hostile regime coming to power in the future and account for the likelihood that the Palestinians will have even more sophisticated weapons at their disposal in the future.
Despite the risks, Israel has withdrawn from more than 40 percent of the West Bank since Oslo. In past negotiations, Israel has offered to give up 97 percent of it in return for a final settlement with the Palestinians. Israel will not, however, return to the pre-1967 borders as demanded by the Palestinians and the Arab states.
MYTH
โDefensible borders are unrealistic in an era of ballistic missiles and long-range bombers.โ
FACT
History shows that aerial attacks have never defeated a nation. Countries are only conquered by troops occupying land. One example of this was Iraqโs invasion of Kuwait, in which the latter nation was overrun and occupied in a matter of hours. Though the multinational force bombed Iraq for close to six weeks, Kuwait was not liberated until the Allied troops marched into that country in the warโs final days. Defensible borders are those that would prevent or impede such a ground assault.
Israelโs return to its pre-1967 borders, which the Arab states want to reimpose, would sorely tempt potential aggressors to launch attacks on the Jewish Stateโas they did routinely before 1967. Israel would lose the extensive system of early-warning radars it has set up in the hills of Judea and Samaria. Were a hostile neighbor then to seize control of these mountains, its army could split Israel in two: From there, it is only about 15 milesโwithout any major geographic obstaclesโto the Mediterranean.
Flying Times to Israel
At their narrowest point, these 1967 lines are within 9 miles of the Israeli coast, 11 miles from Tel Aviv, 10 from Beโer Sheva, 21 from Haifa and one foot from Jerusalem.
To defend Jerusalem, the U.S. Joint Chiefs concluded in a 1967 report to the Secretary of Defense, Israel would need to have its border โpositioned to the east of the city.โ 8
Control over the Jordan River Valley is also critical to Israeli security because it โforms a natural security barrier between Israel and Jordan, and effectively acts as an anti-tank ditch,โ military analyst Anthony Cordesman noted. โThis defensive line sharply increases the amount of time Israel has to mobilize and its ability to ensure control over the West Bank in the event of a war.โ He added that sacrificing control over the routes up to the heights above the West Bank makes it more difficult for the IDF to deploy and increases the risk of Jordanian, Syrian, or Palestinian forces deploying on the heights. 9
Even in the era of ballistic missiles, strategic depth matters. The Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies, an Israeli think tank considered dovish, concluded: โEarly-warning stations and the deployment of surface-to-air missile batteries can provide the time needed to sound an air-raid alert, and warn the population to take shelter from a missile attack. They might even allow enemy missiles to be intercepted in mid-flight.โ.โ.โ. As long as such missiles are armed with conventional warheads, they may cause painful losses and damage, but they cannot decide the outcome of a war.โ 10
MYTH
โIsrael โoccupiesโ the West Bank.โ
FACT
In politics words matter and, unfortunately, the misuse of words applying to the Arab-Israeli conflict has shaped perceptions to Israelโs disadvantage. As in the case of the term โWest Bank,โ the word โoccupationโ has been hijacked by those who wish to paint Israel in the harshest possible light. It also gives apologists a way to try to explain away terrorism as โresistance to occupation,โ as if the women and children killed by suicide bombers in buses, pizzerias, and shopping malls were responsible for the plight of the Palestinians.
Given the negative connotation of an โoccupier,โ it is not surprising that Israelโs detractors use the word or some variation as many times as possible when interviewed by the press. The more accurate description of the territories in Judea and Samaria, however, is โdisputedโ territories.
Nonetheless, the European Union has fallen for the propaganda and accepted the fallacious terminology. In July 2013, the EU published new guidelines severely limiting interaction with Israeli entities beyond the pre-1967 lines. The new rules enforce the unionโs โlong-held position that bilateral agreements with Israel do not cover the territory that came under Israelโs administration in June 1967,โ the statement announcing the guidelines read. This means that the EU has banned any funding of and cooperation with Israeli institutions that operate beyond the โGreen Line.โ 11
This directive is another example of Israel being singled out for special treatment.
In fact, most other disputed territories around the world are not referred to as being occupied by the party that controls them. This is true, for example, of the hotly contested regions of Kashmir, Cyprus, and Tibet. Yet rarely does the international community make a fuss over these territories.12
Occupation typically refers to foreign control of an area that was under the previous sovereignty of another state. In the case of the West Bank, there was no legitimate sovereign because the territory had been illegally occupied by Jordan from 1948 to 1967. Only two countriesโBritain and Pakistanโrecognized Jordanโs action. The Palestinians never demanded an end to Jordanian occupation and the creation of a Palestinian state.
โFor a Texan, a first visit to Israel is an eye-opener. At the narrowest point, itโs only 8 miles from the Mediterranean to the old Armistice line: Thatโs less than from the top to the bottom of Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport. The whole of pre-1967 Israel is only about six times the size of the King Ranch near Corpus Christi.โ
โ President George W. Bush 13
It is also necessary to distinguish the acquisition of territory in a war of conquest as opposed to a war of self-defense. A nation that attacks another and then retains the territory it conquers is an occupier. One that gains territory in the course of defending itself is not in the same category. This is the situation with Israel, which specifically told King Hussein that if Jordan stayed out of the 1967 war, Israel would not fight against him. Hussein ignored the warning and attacked Israel. While fending off the assault and driving out the invading Jordanian troops, Israel came to control the West Bank.
By rejecting Arab demands that Israel be required to withdraw from all the territories won in 1967, UN Security Council Resolution 242 acknowledged that Israel was entitled to claim at least part of these lands for new defensible borders.
Since Oslo, the case for tagging Israel as an occupying power has been further weakened by the fact that Israel transferred virtually all civilian authority in the West Bank to the Palestinian Authority. Israel retained the power to control its own external security and that of its citizens, but 98 percent of the Palestinian population in the West Bank and 100 percent in Gaza came under the PAโs authority. The extent to which Israel has been forced to maintain a military presence in the territories has been governed by the Palestiniansโ unwillingness to end violence against Israel. The only way to end the dispute over the territories is for the Palestinians to negotiate a final settlement. Until now, the intransigence of the Palestinian Authorityโs leadership has been the only serious roadblock to serious talks, the only route to an agreement that will lead to a sustainable future for Israelis and Palestinians alike.
The EU action is especially ill-timed because it undermines the current peace efforts of Secretary John Kerry by creating the impression that the international community will pressure Israel to make concessions without the Palestinians having to negotiate or compromise.
MYTH
โIsraelโs security fence is meant to create a Palestinian ghetto.โ
FACT
Israel did not want to build a fence, and resisted doing so for more than 35 years. If anyone is to blame for the construction, it is Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the other Palestinian terrorists.
Following the 1967 war, the frontier separating Israel from the West Bank had no physical obstacles to prevent the infiltration of terrorists. In response to dozens of suicide bombings, and daily terrorist attacks against its civilians, Israel decided to construct a security fence near the โGreen Lineโ (the 1949 armistice line) to prevent Palestinian terrorists from crossing the border.
A large majority of Israelis support the construction of the security fence. Israelis living along the Green Line, both Jews and Arabs, favor the fence to prevent penetration by thieves and vandals as well as terrorists. In fact, the fence caused a revolution in the daily life of some Israeli Arab towns because it has brought quiet, which allowed a significant upsurge in economic activity. 13
The fence is not impregnable. It is possible that some terrorists will manage to get past the barrier; nevertheless, the obstacle makes it far more difficult for incursions and thereby minimizes the number of attacks. During the 34 months from the beginning of the violence in September 2000 until the construction of the first continuous segment of the security fence at the end of July 2003, Samaria-based terrorists carried out 73 attacks in which 293 Israelis were killed and 1,950 wounded. In the 11 months between the erection of the first segment at the beginning of August 2003 and the end of June 2004, only three attacks were successful, and all three occurred in the first half of 2003. The value of the fence in saving lives is evident from the data: In 2002, the year before construction started, 457 Israelis were murdered; in 2010, 8 Israelis were killed.
MYTH
โIsrael is the only country that has a fence to secure its borders.โ
FACT
It is not unreasonable or unusual to build a fence for security purposes. Israel already has fences along the frontiers with Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, so building a barrier to separate Israel from the Palestinian Authority is not revolutionary. Most nations have fences to protect their borders and several use barriers in political disputes:
The United States is building a fence to keep out illegal Mexican immigrants.
Spain built a fence to separate its enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla from Morocco to prevent people from sub-Saharan Africa from entering Europe.
India constructed a 460-mile barrier in Kashmir to halt infiltrations supported by Pakistan.
Saudi Arabia built a 60-mile barrier along an undefined border zone with Yemen to halt arms smuggling of weaponry and is constructing a 500-mile fence along its border with Iraq.
Turkey built a barrier in the southern province of Alexandretta, which was formerly in Syria and is an area that Syria claims as its own.
In Cyprus, the UN sponsored a security fence reinforcing the islandโs de facto partition.
British-built barriers separate Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods in Belfast. 14
Ironically, after condemning Israelโs barrier, the UN announced plans to build its own fence to improve security around its New York headquarters. 15
MYTH
โThe security fence should be built along the pre-1967 border.โ
FACT
Critics have complained that the fence is being built beyond Israelโs pre-1967 border, but the so-called โGreen Lineโ was not an internationally recognized border, it was an armistice line between Israel and Jordan pending the negotiation of a final border. As Israelโs Supreme Court noted in its ruling on the route of the barrier, building the fence along that line would have been a political statement and would not accomplish the principal goal of the barrier, namely, the prevention of terror.
The route of the fence must take into account topography, population density, and threat assessment of each area. To be effective in protecting the maximum number of Israelis, it also must incorporate some of the settlements in the West Bank.
Most of the fence runs roughly along the โGreen Line.โ In some places, the fence is inside this line. One of the most controversial questions has been whether to build the fence around Ariel, a town of approximately 20,000 people. To incorporate Ariel, the fence would have to extend approximately 12 miles into the West Bank. In the short-run, Israel decided to build a separate fence around Ariel.
Palestinians complain that the fence creates โfacts on the ground,โ but most of the area incorporated within the fence is expected to be part of Israel in any peace agreement with the Palestinians. Israeli negotiators have always envisioned the future border to be the 1967 frontier with modifications to minimize the security risk to Israel and maximize the number of Jews living within the State, and a growing number of Israelis have come to the conclusion that the best solution to the conflict with the Palestinians is separation.
The original route has been repeatedly modified. As a result of the June 2004 Supreme Court decision, the route was altered to move the barrier closer to the 1967 cease-fire line and to make it less burdensome to the Palestinians. The fence is now expected to cover approximately 500 miles and incorporate just 7 percent of the West Bankโless than 160 square milesโon its โIsraeli side,โ while 2,100 square miles will be on the โPalestinian side.โ To date, more than 320 miles of the fence has been completed.
Approximately 99 percent of West Bank Palestinians are on the Palestinian side of the fence. Every effort is being made to exclude Palestinian villages from the area within the fence and no territories are being annexed. The land used in building the security fence is seized for military purposes, not confiscated, and it remains the property of the owner. Legal procedures are already in place to allow every owner to file an objection to the seizure of their land. In addition, Israel budgeted $22 million to compensate Palestinians for the use of their land.
Israel is doing its best to minimize the negative impact on Palestinians in the area of construction and is providing agricultural passageways to allow farmers to continue to cultivate their lands, and crossing points to allow the movement of people and the transfer of goods. Moreover, property owners are offered compensation for the use of their land and for any damage to their trees. Contractors are responsible for carefully uprooting and replanting the trees. So far, more than 60,000 olive trees have been relocated in accordance with this procedure.
Despite Israelโs best efforts, the fence has caused some injury to residents near the fence. Israelโs Supreme Court took up the grievances of Palestinians (who are allowed to petition the court without being Israeli citizens) and ruled the government had to reduce the infringement upon local inhabitants by altering the path of the fence in an area near Jerusalem. Though the Courtโs decision made the governmentโs job of securing the population from terrorist threats more difficult, costly, and time-consuming, the Prime Minister immediately accepted the ruling.
If and when the Palestinians decide to negotiate an end to the conflict, the fence may be torn down or moved (as occurred after Israelโs withdrawal from Lebanon). Even without any change, a Palestinian state could now theoretically be created in 93 percent of the West Bank (the PA now controls 100 percent of the Gaza Strip). This is very close to the 97 percent Israel offered to the Palestinians at Camp David in 2000, which means that while other difficult issues remain to be resolved, the territorial aspect of the dispute will be reduced to a negotiation over roughly 90 square miles.
MYTH
โIsraelโs security fence is comparable to the Berlin Wall.โ
FACT
Although critics have sought to portray the security fence as a kind of โBerlin Wall,โ it is nothing of the sort. First, unlike the Berlin Wall, the fence does not separate one people, Germans from Germans, or deny freedom to those on one side. Israelโs security fence separates two peoples, Israelis and Palestinians, and offers freedom and security for both. Second, while Israelis are fully prepared to live with Palestinians, and 20 percent of the Israeli population is already Arab, it is the Palestinians who say they do not want to live with any Jews and call for the West Bank to be judenrein. Third, the fence is not being constructed to prevent the citizens of one state from escaping; it is designed solely to keep terrorists out of Israel.
Finally, most of the barrier will be a chain-link type fence, similar to those used all over the United States, combined with underground and long-range sensors, unmanned aerial vehicles, trenches, landmines and guard paths. Less than 3 percent (about 15 miles) is a 30 -foot -high concrete wall, built in areas where it will prevent Palestinian snipers from shooting at Israeli cars, as they did for three years along the Trans-Israel Highway, one of the countryโs main roads.

I have but a voice that is surrounded by such volume that it becomes but a whisper, and yet I will never be silenced. “Silence, at times can be the voice of complicity.”
Why didn’t you tell me about your Lady, Bim?
mista black there times in life when listening is the key to understanding, when silence can be golden whereby opportunities missing can be retrieved, it is not always what one does or say but the effectiveness of it all, i would gladly submit to you that with all the fiery rhetoric and all the death and destruction, as of now no one have or ever put forward a genuine solution sufficient enough to bring an end to madness , everyday seems to be the same as yesterday innocent lives lost, babies children young men old men woman and mothers dying ,we frown/ we cruse, but the real question without any answers are where are the solutions, how long shall mankind go on down this road of solitaire without feeling any shame or guilt or responsibility , then i asked ! who then shall we blame is not ourselves ,then who?

No one is reading that nonsense… I could do the same, but my sensibilities wouldn’t allow such an assault on decorum.
Jews who hold the Torah holy have from the turn of the 20th century vehemently oppose the establishment of a Jewish state, particularly a zionist one. Those Jews use to be a 80% majority up until the 1930’s.
I will afford links to their websites and their passionate religious yet humanistic arguments against the state of Israel. Starting with one group that is mention in JewishVrtualLibary, Neturei Karta:
http://www.nkusa.org/index.cfm
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Zionism/naturei_karta.html
Religious Jews were of the majority against the partitioning of Palestine and the establishment of a Jewish state. The minority zionists who were mainly from Europe were violent zionists committed to bringing about a zionist stae by all means necessary.
“At the time, they(Neturei Karta-religious Jews) were vocal opponents to the new political ideology of Zionism that was attempting to assert Jewish sovereignty in Ottoman-controlled Palestine. They resented the new arrivals, who were predominantly secular(nonreligious Jews), and claimed that Jewish redemption could only be brought about by the Messiah.
Among the proofs they brought for this argument was a talmudic Midrash (legend) that God, the Jewish People, and the nations of the world made a divine pact, when the Jews were sent into exile by the Roman Empire. One provision of the pact was that the Jews would not rebel against the non-Jewish world that gave them sanctuary; a second was that they would not immigrate en masse to the Land of Israel. In return, the legend states, the Gentile nations promised not persecute the Jews too harshly. By rebelling against this pact, they argued, the Jewish People were engaging in open rebellion against God.
In fact, this position was adopted by the BULK OF THE ORTHODOX WORLD (with the exception of a small faction of Orthodox Zionists, led by Chief Rabbi Abraham Kook and his followers) well up until the United Nations voted to partition Palestine on November 29, 1947. Representatives of another Orthodox party, Agudat Israel, actually ASKED THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO VOTE AGAINST PARTITION. Tensions were at their highest between the Zionist and non-Zionist Jewish communities in Palestine in the 1920s, following the assassination of Jakob de Haan, a Dutch poet, former Zionist, and spokesman for Agudat Israel AGAINST THE CREATION OF A JEWISH STATE.”

Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund, Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem (1904-1996)
I have already said many times that at times like this, when G-dโs name is being desecrated from one end of the world to the other by the actions of the Zionists and their collaborators, we have a holy obligation to raise our voices like a ramโs horn and announce before the entire world and all its nations that we have no connection with these actions, and that according to the true Torah view we are obligated to seek peace with the nations of the world and not to start fights with them. We rely only on G-d to redeem us from this bitter exile at the time when He sees fit.
…to make known to all that according to our true Torah we are obligated to seek peace with the gentile nations among whom we live, and certainly not to arouse conflict with them, as Scripture says, โSeek the peace of the city wherein I have exiled you and pray to G-d on its behalf, for with its peace you will have peaceโ (Jeremiah 29:7). And on the contrary, IT IS FORBIDDEN FOR US to do any act to rebel against the nations or force the end of our exile, to take redemption and a STATE BEFORE THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH. And certainly IT IS FORBIDDEN TO DO SUCH ABOMINABLE ACTS as have been done [BY THE ZIONISTS], for all these acts not only do not bring redemption and salvation to the Jewish people, but on the contrary they cause our misfortunes to increase more and more, may G-d spare us. (Ateres Yehoshua, Vayakhel, p. 236)
Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky, Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem (1867-1948)
. . . .and it is contrary to the wishes of G-d to create a Jewish State. . .

Sir, this subject matter, the Israel-Palestinian conflict, like most people in the world, is WAY BEYOND your comprehension, apart from your inherent bias, your IGNORANCE* (lacking knowledge and understanding) prevents you from any critical, coherent, logical analysis of the ‘issues’ that pertain to this conflict.
It is a very DEEP spiritual matter, that goes WAY BACK at the beginning of God’s Word, in Genesis, and CANNOT be understood by the ‘natural’ man, ‘de pseukikos anthopos’ the man who is not ‘spiritually’ alive, led by the Holy Spirit of God, in, by and through a personal relationship with, The Lord Jesus Christ, CANNOT, DOES NOT, WILL NOT understand such things, as they are FOOLISHNESS to him!
Not even the Jews in Israel, regardless of their ‘sectarian’ differences, can really understand what’s happening, even some Christians do NOT understand the significance of what’s unfolding before their very eyes, day by day, as ‘ISRAEL’ IS* the very APEX, of the consummation, and fulfillment of ALL, END-TIME prophecy in God’s Word, the Bible.
Israel IS* the most miraculous Nation in the history of mankind, bar NON!
STOP MESSING WITH ISRAEL! They are wicked, Godless Jews, let Almighty God deal with them’ His unconditional Covenant IS* with the NATION, not the individual Jew!

Go right ahead and sock it to that MistaBLack. Bush Tea and Miller are 1 zillion % behind you, Zoe. Even Robert Ross is in your corner.
That MistaBlack thinks he is handling a powder-puff like Robert Ross or Miller.
Zoe, that MistaBlack does know whom he is messing with.
Doesn’t he know that you are Yahweh’s appointed assassin given special dispensation to be the sole trumpeter of his Word? Even the Pope has to go through you to have a conference with Jehovah Jireh.
Since you have been released from your batty cage that MistaBlack is beginning to see the real meaning of the seven plagues making the fruit bat looks like a ladybird and the Ebola like a minor skin rash.
In everyone,s life there is a time for laughter,a time for sorrow, a time to be born,a time to die..and so it shall be with Israel when nature has the final word and Israel becomes NO MANS LAND

“It is a very DEEP spiritual matter, that goes WAY BACK at the beginning of Godโs Word, in Genesis, and CANNOT be understood by the โnaturalโ man,…”
The ruling Pope has declared the Creation Story as outlined in the book of Genesis is just a myth and figments of plagiarists’ imagination. He indicated the Big Bang and Evolution took place with God at the centre of it all.
Who really is speaking on behalf of your god Yahweh? Has he changed his PR company to fit a modern world of astronomy?
So Zoe, who should we believe? The Jewish literary con artists or the scientific-minded Pope?
Zoe, you have as usual dealt with the facts , presented them methodically , and refuted the falsehoods and anti-Jewish, anti- Zionist vitriol we see being spewed out here as truths. The favourite whipping boys, the white man and /or the Jew continue to be the ‘ convenient ‘ excuse for the black man’s failures.
Why are we still so helpless and incapable of lifting this ethnic group out of its self inflicted misery ? You mean that after centuries of facing and losing to the ‘ enemy ‘, we still haven’t learned anything
If we are so superior in intellect and or physical capabilities as some believe, why are we still the poorest, most helpless group on the planet ? How could we be tricked and bullied in just about every encounter of the past ? Fool me once, shame on you, …….
The African continent is the richest on earth with every conceivable resource, isn’t it time enough that they use it to produce world class technologies like every other ethnic group who were enslaved or downtrodden, nearly exterminated etc , or just to help themselves? We are not even in the agricultural age yet , far less the industrial, or the space age and light years away from the 21st century .. The world will come to an end , and they will still be in the starting blocks, moaning and whining there way into oblivion. Get real. If we continue to follow the likes of Louis Farakkhan and his sycophants, or worship communists murderers like Fidel Castro, like many aspiring mini dictators on the island do,we won’t make it,
Those sorts of 19th / 20th century methods are not the solutions to 21st problems , especially since we are even further at a disadvantage in just about every area. Credibilty tet.
The Nation of Islam was founded in Detroit in 1930 by Fard Muhammad, who taught his followers that ‘he was Allah personified’. Upon Fard’s disappearance later that decade, his disciple Elijah Muhammad took over and promoted the idea that whites were created by an evil Black scientist and that Blacks are the superior race. We need not go any further, credibility shot.
Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela , two perfect examples of forgiveness and peace and non violence. Why would we want to chose the the other alternative.
Keep enlightening us Zoe. The truth stands alone, doesn’t need anyone’s approval.

“inherent bias”?
That is certainly self-descriptive since the Israel state scenario is the puzzle piece that YOU, along with the rest of the christian fundamentalists need require to trigger your Great Armageddon/rapture.
Even though Jews don’t believe that Jesus was a messiah, in fact they see him as a fraud, a devil.
I showed a great deal of objectivity in responding to your commandeering of all that is virtual jewish library without one original thought of any consequence.
I chose not to present arguments from pro-Palestinian sites particularly to show some objectivity.
I presented historical evidence that the majority of Jews particularly the RELIGIOUS ones were FIRMLY against the establishment of the ZIONIST state of Israel in 1947.
WHAT WAS THE ROLE OF THE MINORITY ZIONISTS IN BRINGING ABOUT THE STATE OF ISRAEL???
WHY DID THE MAJORITY OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY OPPOSE TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL???
I believe that the mindset of the people for whom or in whose name the state of Israel was being created is pertinent this discussion.
There is nothing miraculous about the modern state of Israel. It’s existence can’t be easily explained. It was due to people who were willing to bring it about no matter the suffering of other human-beings they considered sub-human.
That mindset was necessary in the onslaught that lead to the ravishing of the Natives of Australia, the Americas and the rape of Africa, all with the bible in tow.

Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela , two perfect examples of forgiveness and peace and non violence. Why would we want to chose the the other alternative.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………..and you see what happen to them, both paid a heavy price for separating facts from fiction and opening up the eyes, the ears. and the minds of their people. the alternative is truth but no one wants to hear it, man.s idea of truth is a microscopic view of fictitious stories and fairy tale the biggest reason the conflict in the middle east rages on.
@MistaBlack, You still don’t get it, and probably never will!
NO Jewish religious group, whoever them maybe, no mater how much they may have opposed the formation and declaration of the State of Israel in 1948, can thwart or hinder Almighty God’s plans, purposes and decrees!
Prophecy Fulfilled: Israel Becomes A Nation In 1948.
Prior to 1948, Israel last existed as an independent nation in 606 B.C. when the first captives of Israel were taken by Nebuchadnezzar.
The destruction of Israel at the hands of the Babylonians was completed in 587 B.C. with the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.
For 70 biblical years (approximately 69 years on the Gregorian calendar), the Jewish people were held as captives in Babylon.
In 537 B.C., the Persian King Cyrus conquered Babylon and issued a decree for the Jews to return to their land and rebuild the Temple.
It was during the Babylonian captivity and this return to Israel that Ezekiel appeared as a prophet and provided the following information on the future existence of Israel as an independent nation:
“Now lie on your left side and place the sins of Israel on yourself. You are to bear their sins for the number of days you lie there on your side. You will bear Israel’s sins for 390 days – one day for each year of their sin. After that, turn over and lie on your right side for 40 days – one day for each year of Judah’s sin.” Ezekiel 4:4-6 (NLT)
According to this passage, the people of Israel would not be free until this period of punishment passed. This time is known as the “Servitude of the Nation,” and the time allotted by God is 430 years.
However, 70 years of atonement for Israel’s sin had already been served during the Babylonian captivity, so only 360 years of punishment remained. The Jews who returned to Israel in 537 B.C. refused to repent of their sins as Ezekiel warned.
As a result, Israel continued to be ruled by foreign powers: the Persians, the Greeks, and the Romans.
In A.D. 70, Titus and the Roman legions destroyed the Temple and scattered the Jewish people as slaves among the various provinces of the Roman Empire. The year 176 B.C. had come and gone, yet Israel never emerged as an independent nation. So what happened?
Was the Bible wrong?
Did God change his mind?
Absolutely not.

Several earlier Old Testament passages shed light on this mystery. In the Book of Leviticus, they reveal that if, upon their return to the land of Israel, the people refused to obey God, he would increase their punishments seven-fold. This is repeated several times:
“And if in spite of this, you still disobey me, I will punish you for your sins seven times over.” Leviticus 26:18 (NLT)
“If even then you remain hostile toward me and refuse to obey, I will inflict you with seven more disasters for your sins.” Leviticus 26:21 (NLT)
“And if you fail to learn a lesson from this and continue your hostility toward me, then I myself will be hostile toward you, and I will personally strike you seven times over for your sins.” Leviticus 26:23-24 (NLT)
“If after this you still refuse to listen and still remain hostile toward me, then I will give full vent to my hostility. I will punish you seven times over for your sins.” Leviticus 26:27-28 (NLT)
In the year 537 B.C., 360 years of punishment remained on God’s timetable. However, when the people of Israel refused to repent of their sins, this punishment was multiplied seven-fold from 360 years to 2,520 years. 360 days comprise a biblical year, so the allotted time equaled 907,200 days.
However, in modern times, we don’t use the Jewish calendar, but rather the Gregorian calendar which has 365.2425 days in a year. If the 907,200 days are divided by 365.2425, we get approximately 2,483.8292 years.
Historians have established that Cyrus the Persian issued his proclamation to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem sometime in the first half of the year 537 B.C. We don’t know the exact day of the proclamation, but the Bible reveals that it had to be prior to the seventh month on the Jewish calendar because in that month, “the Israelites had settled in their towns, all the people assembled together as one person in Jerusalem.” Ezra 3:1 (NLT)
Without an exact starting date, it’s more accurate to count backward 907,200 days from the day of Israel’s restoration. Israel declared its status as an independent nation on May 14, 1948. The following online calendar conversion tool is available for counting days as well as converting between the Gregorian calendar and the Jewish calendar.
Calendar Conversion Tool
Subtracting 907,200 days from the Gregorian date of May 14, 1948, the calculator reveals a date of July 15, 537 B.C.
Gregorian Calendar: A.D. 14 May 1948
Jewish Calendar: 5 Iyyar 5708
-907,200 days (360 days x 2,520 years)
Gregorian Calendar: 15 July 537 B.C.
Jewish Calendar: 15 Av 3224
Does this reconcile with the Biblical statement that the Jews had resettled in Jerusalem in the seventh month of 537 B.C.?
The equivalent date on the Jewish calendar is 15 Av 3224 – the fifteenth day of the fifth month. Since approximately 900 miles separate Babylon and Jerusalem (the geographical distance is less, but the ancient travel route is estimated at 900 miles), and ancient caravans rarely traveled more than 20 miles per day, this date doesn’t seem to contradict the biblical account. The Jews would have had only 74 days to make their trip. Accounting for the Sabbath day of rest, that leaves approximately 63 actual travel days to reach Jerusalem before the end of the seventh month. To cover 900 miles in that time, they needed to average 14.29 miles/per day, 6 days per week – a task well within reach.
It also seems highly likely that Cyrus made his proclamation in this part of the year, because the Jewish holiday Tisha B’Av, a three week fast commemorating the destruction of the Temple 50 years earlier ends on the 9th of Av. 9 Av 537 B.C. was within a one week of the 50th anniversary of the Temple’s destruction, a fitting time for a king’s proclamation to rebuild it.
Although July 15, 537 B.C. can not be verified by outside sources as the exact day of Cyrus’s proclamation, we do know that 537 B.C. was the year in which he made it. As such, we can know for certain that the Bible, in one of the most remarkable prophecies in history, accurately foresaw the year of Israel’s restoration as an independent nation some two thousand five hundred years before the event occurred.

There is no reasoning with a religious fanatic, and the earth is 6000 years old.
Palestinians aren’t “chosen”, just sub-human, illegitimate offspring of Abraham and in the way of your “End-Time-Bible-Prophecy”. I don’t expect you to give a rat’s ass about them or their babies.

you got that right

“Palestinians arenโt โchosenโ, just sub-human, illegitimate offspring of Abraham and in the way of your โEnd-Time-Bible-Prophecyโ. I donโt expect you to give a ratโs ass about them or their babies”
No, its the PLO and Hamas leadership, and other Arab nations that don’t give a dam about the so-called Palestinians, and have KEPT them in deplorable refugee conditions for 67 years, the FACTS and EVIDENCE reveal this devious, wicked, evil political agenda, WAS/IS continued EXPRESSLY for the propaganda, ‘TURNSPEAK’ purpose of TWISTING the TRUTH, to make Israel look like the aggressor, and most, like YOU. have BOUGHT into this LIE.
From 1947/48, to most recent times, every thing was done to create a State for the Palestinians, it WAS REPEATEDLY REJECTED! Why was it rejected?
Because, they would NO longer have an EXCUSE to seek to DESTROY Israel off the face of the earth, and KILL every Jew.
The issue, as I’ve stated in an earlier post, was NEVER, and currently IS NOT over LAND for a Palestinian State, it is over the EXISTENCE of the State of Israel, which they HATE, and the HISTORIC FACT, that the Jews connection to their ANCIENT HOMELAND, goes back over 3,500 YEARS, that simply CANNOT be refuted, the evidence for this FACT is overwhelmingly supported by a multiplicity of PROOFS!
TRUTH cannot be defeated, LIES and DECEIT will always be exposed, and will FAIL!
You possess a mindset that is poisoned by fanatical dreams of the rapture and Armageddon.
Once we get away from all the biblical mombo, the silliness of your argument is revealed.
So the Palestinians were just keeping the seats warms for OVER 1000 years until Jews returned from Russia?
Base on your ludicrous argument the White man will be relinquishing the Americas and Australia back to the Natives since it was their NATIVE HOMELAND going back over 10,000 YEARS?
“so-called Palestinians”, like so-called neegroes? They don’t get to name themselves right? That is the language of a typical RACIST! Don’t ever besmirch the Nazis.
“other Arab nations that donโt give a dam about the so-called Palestinians, and have KEPT them in deplorable refugee conditions for 67 years”
How nimrodic(my word)!
WELL HOW DID THEY BECOME REFUGEES IN THE FIRST PLACE???
When you empty out your CONCOCTED biblical authorization for ethnic cleansing, genocide and outright land theft that is still going on today, YOU HAVE NOTHING BUT TALES to JUSTIFY the UNJUSTIFIABLE.
Jews lived in Palestine before the coming of the Zionists from Europe. At some point the ZIONISTS even consider GUYANA as a state of Israel. How would that have fit in to the RE-GATHERING in zion????
Let’s hear from one of those most influential Jews who live in Palestine prior to the arrival of the irreligious zionists:
Hear the words of the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem in a letter to the UN in 1946:
Good neighbourly relations with other sections of the population.
“DURING NO PERIOD OF THE IMMIGRATION OF SUCH ORTHODOX EUROPEAN JEWS WAS ANY OPPOSITION OFFERED BY THE ARAB POPULATION. ON THE CONTRARY, THESE JEW WERE WELCOMED on account of economic benefits and general progress that accrued to the local inhabitants who had no fear whatsoever of being subjugated.
It was common knowledge that these JEWS came but for the purpose of fulfilling certain religious requirements AND THEY HAD NO DIFFICULTY IN ESTABLISHING A MUTUAL TRUST, AND REAL FRIENDSHIP WITH ALL SECTIONS OF THE COMMUNITY. That was the time when good neighborly relations existed between Jews and Arabs and in particular Rabbis and eminent scholars who then lead THE JEWISH COMMUNITY WAS GREATLY ESTEEMED AND HONOURED BY ALL INHABITANTS.”
…until the coming of the zionist terrorist organizations like The Jewish Agency, The Haganah, The Irgun Zvai Leumi and the Stern Gangs whose sole purpose was to disrupt those good relations and to terrorize Palestinians from the land. AND LET’S NOT FORGET THAT 20% OF THOSE PALESTINIANS WERE AND ARE YOUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS!
Why are (we) still so helpless and incapable of lifting this ethnic group out of its self inflicted misery ?
Since “we” is the first person. You’re obviously including yourself. Why are you so helpless and incapable?
ISRAEL REFUSE TO SEVERE TIES WITH APARTHEID SOUTH AFRICA!
And that’s speaks volumes to me.
Yes I do include myself and all the other well intentioned millions of people throughout the centuries , and continuing today, of every nationality, every religion and political persuasion that have failed to lift or even drag them out of their voodoo filled backwardness. including you. Zoe has demolisehed you and your attempt to pervert the truth, just like he did to the other Josef Goebbels ,Pacha on many an occasion ,so now you are lashing out in desperation at anyone who challenges your folly.
A pregnant cobra strikes in self defense at any threat , real or perceived, that is her very nature. An intellectual midget strikes with sarcasm and vitriol at any threat ,real or perceived, that is their nature. A life encased in filth, produces filth. Garbage in , garbage out. Continue ‘ helping ‘ your brethren by using your methods, let’s see how far they will get. Pitiful.
By the way, I am doing quite well thank you. Lived and studied in Canada, two countries in Europe, speak two Northern European languages fluently. I will be just fine. You have a blessed day in Jesus.
Reason, (the intellectual ability to THINK Critically,) is necessary for REVELATION (Facts, evidence) to be COHERENT.
The structure of Justification, (warranted, credible TRUTH) in defending any propositional TRUTH CLAIM, IS* Coherence, coherence IS* our sole criteria for TRUTH.
Truth obtains, when reality is the way a proposition represents it to be.

12 Keys To Understanding Israel In The Bible
by Clarence H. Wagner Jr.
As I travel the world speaking on behalf of Bridges for Peace, I often hear many of the same questions over and over again. Whether it is in South Africa or Canada, Australia or Brazil, the UK or the USA, one thing that Christians want to have is a summary of the key Scriptures about Israel and the Jewish people. God has much to say about His Covenant people and His Land, Israel.
The Land of Israel is the only place on earth which God says He owns in terms of property ownership that can be transferred. (Of course, we know the whole world is His, yet this one parcel of land on the earth has a unique relationship to Him.) About Israel, He says, “The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine: for you are but aliens and sojourners with Me” (Leviticus 25:23).
Exactly what does the Bible say about God’s parcel of land, and who has a right to it?
When we come to the modern-day Israel-Palestine issue, people often ask the question, “Just what right do Israel and the Jewish people have to this land?” Arguments are continually brought forth concerning the rights of the Palestinians and the rights of the Israelis that seem logical to the people who present them. But a basic question still remains in my mind as I listen to the many conflicting viewpoints concerning this parcel of land: “Who has the ultimate authority to determine rights concerning this special piece of real estate?”
The biblical answer to that question is that God alone determines the “rights” that any of us have. Something is right or wrong because of Divine decree, not human feeling or human reason. The existence of God previous to the creation of the universe and mankind gives Him the right to determine our “rights.”
Morality exists because God exists. Authority exists because God exists. And, Almighty God has already determined the rights of Israel and the Jewish people to the land God owns and has deeded over to them.
Let’s look together at what He has to say about the Land of Israel, the people He chose to possess it, and why:
Key #1: The Land of Canaan, renamed Israel by the Lord, was given by God to Abraham and his descendants as an everlasting possession.
In Genesis 12:7a, we read: “The Lord appeared to Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I will give this land.’”
In Genesis 13:15, He repeated His promise when He said, “for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever.” He said the same thing in Genesis 15:18, “To your descendants I have given this land.”
Key #2: The gift of this Land to Abraham and his descendants was based on an unconditional covenant from God Himself.
Genesis 17:7-8 states: “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. And I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”
The sign of that covenant for Abraham and his descendants was circumcision. Twice in this passage, God mentions the everlasting nature of this covenant. There are some today who say that this covenant was conditional, that it was based on Israel’s faithfulness to God. The Bible teaches otherwise.
In Psalm 89:30-37, we read: “If his sons forsake My law, and do not walk in My judgments, if they violate My statues, and do not keep My commandments, then I will visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. But I will not break off My loving kindness from him, nor deal falsely in My faithfulness. My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips. Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David. His descendants shall endure forever like the moon, and the witness in the sky is faithful.”
Jeremiah 31:35-36 declares: “This is what the Lord says, ‘He who appoints the sun to shine by day, Who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar — the Lord Almighty is His Name; Only if these ordinances vanish from My sight,’ declares the Lord, ‘will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before Me.’”
We agree that God promised to judge His people if they disobeyed Him. That is true for all of us. However, we do not agree with those who say that Israel’s disobedience would forfeit their gift of the land and their national status as a people. Deuteronomy 28 shows that God’s pronouncement of blessing and cursing only affected the quality of life of the Israelites, which was conditional upon their faithfulness. However, the promise of the land was not based upon Israel’s performance, but upon God’s oath and character — He will not lie.
Deuteronomy 30 shows that before they even entered the Promised Land, He knew they would violate His statutes and be evicted in a future day. Yet it also declares that He would bring them back into the land He had given their forefathers (see #8).
Key #3: The Land was given to Abraham and his descendants as part of God’s redemptive blessing to the world.
In Genesis 12:1-3, we read, “The Lord has said to Abram, ‘Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Israel was located in the center of the ancient world, and all transportation and communication between the continents had to pass through this territory to reach the other. In doing so, the travelers, merchants and traders, and even the armies encountered the Children of Israel.
They were chosen for three purposes: to worship God in this land and show the world the blessing of serving the one true God of the Universe; to receive, record and transmit the Word of God (through them we have our Bible); and finally, to be the human channel for the Messiah from whom we have our salvation. In order for God to protect His purposes for the Children of Israel in the Land of Israel, He promised to bless those who blessed Abraham and his descendants and curse him who cursed them.
Key #4: This land was not given to the descendants of Ishmael (one ancestor of the Arab peoples), but rather to the descendants of Isaac.
I have no bitterness toward the descendants of Ishmael, nor do I wish to be unkind to our Arab friends. However, I must be faithful to what I know the Bible teaches. Abraham himself considered Ishmael as a possible descendant to whom God would give this land. In Genesis 17:18, Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before Thee.” But God’s answer was, and is, very clear. In Genesis 17:19, God answered Abraham, “No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”
God promised to bless Ishmael and to make him a great nation: “And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation” (Genesis 17:20). However, the bloodline of the covenant promise concerning the Land would go through Isaac, not Ishmael: “…In Isaac your descendants shall be called” (Hebrews 11:18).
Key #5: This Land was not given to the other sons of Abraham, but only to Isaac.
After Sarah died, Abraham had six more sons by Keturah, as well as others by his concubines, who are ancestors of many of the Arab peoples today. However, the covenant of the Land was not for them: “Now Abraham gave all he had to Isaac; but to the sons of his concubines, Abraham gave gifts while he was still living and sent them away from his son Isaac eastward, to the land of the east” (Genesis 25:5-6). Note that Abraham even sent these sons away from the Land of Canaan.
Key #6: This Land and covenant were given only to Isaac’s son, Jacob, and his descendants, not Esau and his descendants.
Jacob received the birthright from his father, Isaac. In Genesis 28:4, Isaac said to Jacob: “May He (God) also give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your descendants with you: that you may possess the land of your sojourning, which God gave to Abraham.”
But it wasn’t simply the words of his father Isaac that guided the future of Jacob. It was a direct revelation from God Himself that convinced Jacob of his destiny. The Lord God revealed to Jacob His message about this land. In Genesis 28:13-15, we read:
“I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants. Your descendants shall also be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
According to Genesis 36:6-9, Esau took his descendants and all his possessions and went to another land away from his brother Jacob. Esau lived in the hill country of Seir. The Bible tells us that Esau is Edom. It specifically tells us that the descendants of Esau are the Edomites, and Israel was not their land. The book of Obadiah is a proclamation of doom upon the sons of Esau (Edom) for their constant persecution of the descendants of Jacob (Israel): “Because of the violence against your brother Jacob, you will be covered with shame; you will be destroyed forever” (Obadiah 1:10).
Key #7: God told Israel to conquer the Land which He had given to them.
In Deuteronomy 1:8, we read: “See, I have placed the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to them and their descendants after them.” On the east side of the Jordan River as the Israelites were about to enter into the Promised land, the Lord said to Joshua: “Moses My servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan river into the land I am about to give to them — to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert and from Lebanon to the great river, the Euphrates – all the Hittite country — and to the Great Sea on the west. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them” (Joshua 1:2-4,6).
Joshua then told his people with these words: “This is how you will know that the living God is among you, and that He will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites”(Joshua 3:10). He then told them how the Lord would part the flood waters of the Jordan River so they could cross over to the other side. This is what happened and then the people knew that God was with them, and they conquered the land, region by region, starting with Jericho.
The reality of conflict over the land of Israel is nothing new and in no way indicates that God is not with the Jewish people concerning the land issue today. I have heard Christians say that Israel today could not be part of God’s plan, because there is so much war and strife that it can’t be of God. However, since when has it been any different? All through the Older Testament, nations rose up to fight against the Jewish people, the descendants of Abraham, in the Land of Israel. From the moment Joshua brought the Children of Israel into the Promised Land, it was a fight to possess the Land. King David was seemingly at constant war with his neighbors, the Philistines. Why should it be surprising that conflict is still happening today? The enemies of God have always fought against His plans.
The prophet Zechariah makes it quite clear that at the end of days, God Himself will make Jerusalem a stumbling block for the nations and will judge them by whether or not they understand and support God’s plans for Jerusalem and Israel. If they do, they will be blessed; if they don’t, they will be destroyed: “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. On that day, I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem” (Zechariah 12:1-2,9).
Key #8: Israel’s sin and subsequent exile from the Land did not change their divine right to this Land given to them by the Lord in covenant.
Many people have said that God’s promise to give Israel this land was based upon Israel’s faithfulness to God’s laws, and that when they were disobedient and sent into captivity, this nullified God’s promise. The Bible teaches otherwise. In Leviticus 26:40-45, we read that God would punish Israel for its disobedience and send them into captivity. But, according to verses 44-45, God will bring them back:
“Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so abhor them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God. But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God. I am the Lord.” In Deuteronomy 30:3-5, God promises: “Then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. If your outcasts are at the ends of the earth, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. And the Lord; your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.”
Amos 9:14-15 thunders forth these remarkable words: “‘Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit. I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,’ says the Lord your God.”
Some opponents to Israel’s right to the land say that these verses were fulfilled when the Jewish people returned from the Babylonian captivity. However, we know that there were other exiles and in-gatherings, as well. Yet, Amos speaks of a return to their ancient homeland, Israel, once and for all, when he says, “‘. and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,’ says the Lord your God” (Amos 9:15). That has never happened in history and many believe that this return to Israel is that final return that will culminate in the coming of Messiah.
Key #9: The name of this Land is not Palestine, but Israel.
Twenty-five hundred years ago, the prophet Ezekiel spoke of the restoration of Israel to its land in the last days. Ezekiel spoke of dry bones coming to life. Never before in history has a nation been destroyed and scattered all over the world, and then been brought back to life. It is a miracle and a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. We read in Ezekiel 37:11-12:
“Then He said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ Therefore prophesy, and say to them, ‘thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of ISRAEL.’”
Notice that the name of that land is ISRAEL, the land that so often is called the “land of Canaan” in the Bible. God says that in the last days it will be called ISRAEL.
The name, Palestine, was a regional name that was imposed on the area by the Roman Emperor, Hadrian, who suppressed the Second Jewish Revolt in AD 135. He was so angry with the Jews that he wanted to humiliate them and emphasize that the Jewish nation had lost its right to a homeland under Roman rule. The name Palaestina was originally an adjective derived from Philistia, the arch-enemies of the Israelites 1000 years earlier. Hadrian also changed the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina after his own family name, Aelia. He also forbade Jews from entering the city, except on the 9th of the Hebrew month, Av, to mourn its destruction. Since he was considered a god in the Roman Empire, this was his attempt to break God’s covenant between the Jewish people and their land. This effectively declared his pagan authority over Jerusalem, which had been the place of the presence of the God of Israel. To this day, the name Palestine flies in the face of Israel and the entire issue can be boiled down to a religious (spiritual) battle over a land whose fate will be decided by the God of the Bible, since it is His land (Leviticus 25:23).
Yeshua (Jesus), in describing the signs of the end of the age, said: “Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled” (Luke 21:24b). From the time of Hadrian until 1967, Jerusalem was controlled by Gentiles. It is now back in the hands of the Jewish people, which is one sign that Messiah is soon to come to Zion.
Key #10: The stranger (those outside the Covenant) will live among you and be treated with respect.
“They (God’s covenant people) will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated: they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations. The stranger will shepherd your flock; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards” (Isaiah 61:4,5). “If you (Israel) really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the alien, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave to your forefathers for ever and ever” (Jeremiah 7:5-7).
The “alien” or “foreigner” in these verses would include the Palestinian Arabs and other non-Jewish people who live in the land. They would receive a blessing by living and working in the Land of Israel, not the Land of Palestine. On the one hand, Israel should treat them with respect. On the other hand, they have the responsibility to live at peace, abiding by the laws of the Land, recognizing under whose sovereignty it belongs.
This is what Moses taught: “The community (of Israel) is to have the same rules for you and for the alien living among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the alien shall be the same before the Lord; the same laws and regulations will apply to you and to the alien living among you”(Numbers 15:15,16).
When this relationship is broken, as has happened today, then crisis ensues. Scripture has much more to say about the Land in prophecy, including the fact that Israel will go through many more trials before Messiah comes to fully restore Israel as the head of all nations.
Key #11: The return of the Jewish people at the end of days will be initiated by God, and their return will signal the restoration of a barren and broken land.
The prophet Isaiah spoke of God’s plan to bring His people back to Israel, saying: “He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel, He will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth” (Isaiah 11:12).
When the Jews began to return from the nations of the world at the end of the last century, the land was barren and sparsely inhabited. In the 1860s, the author, Mark Twain, traveled in what was then a backward region of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, called Palestine and described the land, thusly: “Nowhere in all the waste around was there a foot of shade.” He called the land a “blistering, naked, treeless land.” Of the Galilee, he said, “There is no dew, nor flowers, nor birds, nor trees. There is a plain and an unshaded lake, and beyond them some barren mountains.” His summary of Palestine: “Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince. The hills are barren, they are dull of color, they are unpicturesque in shape. It is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land.”
This description matches the Ezekiel’s prophecy of the “barren mountains of Israel” in Ezekiel 36:1-7. However, Ezekiel goes on to say, “But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for My people Israel, for they will soon come home. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown, and I will multiply the number of people upon you, even the whole house of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then, you will know that I am the Lord. I will cause people, My people Israel, to walk upon you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again deprive them of their children” (Ezekiel 36: 8-12).
Truly, the return of the Jews from over 100 nations of the world is a modern-day miracle. Large waves of immigrants began to come in the 1880s. Since those early days, the deserts have been reforested, the rocky fields made fertile, the swamps drained and planted, the ancient terraces rebuilt, and the ruined cities of old re-established. Israel is now a nation of over six million people that is a food exporting nation that boasts high levels of literacy, health, education and welfare, high technology and agricultural development.
Key #12: The nations will be part of the return of the people and the restoration of the land.
The prophet Isaiah of Israel said: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. Surely the islands look to me; in the lead are the ships of Tarshish, bringing your sons from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the Lord your God. Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Your gates will always stand open, they will never be shut, day or night, so that men may bring you the wealth of the nations. For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly ruined” (Isaiah 60:1,9-12).
In Romans 11:11-14, Paul teaches us Christians that we are grafted into the olive tree, which are the covenants, promises and hopes of Israel. We do not hold up the tree, but it holds us up, so we should not boast against His people, Israel. In verse 28, he tells us that they are beloved for the sake of the patriarchs. Without the faithfulness of the Jewish people in Israel, we would not have our example, our Bible, our Yeshua or our salvation. Therefore, he concludes that “by our mercy, they will receive [God’s] mercy.” (Romans 11:31).
Paul teaches us Christians that we have a debt to pay to the Jewish people, by blessing them in tangible ways.
Romans 15:27 clearly states: “For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.” How much more direct can God be regarding our Christian relationship to Israel and the Jewish people.
What Does This Mean To Us?
The day of Israel’s full restoration is near. Messiah will make it possible and we shall all live in peace. Until He comes, we, who believe the Bible to be God’s Word and that every promise of God will come to pass, must stand and support Israel’s right to its land. It is a Divine right. We are patient with those who do not believe the Bible, nor accept Israel’s right to the land. Yet, with love for all, we must strongly support Israel’s right. We cannot do otherwise and have clear consciences. We cannot say on the one hand that we believe there is a God Who has revealed His perfect will in His Holy Scriptures, and on the other hand, deny Israel its right to the land God promised to her.
Our commitment to Israel was penned by the Psalmist so long ago in Psalm 102:13: “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” This is that day.
Again the Psalmist exhorts us: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces. For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, ‘May peace be within you.’ For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good” (Psalm 122; 6-9).

“Even though Jews donโt believe that Jesus was a messiah, in fact they see him as a fraud, a devil”.
You are quite right that Jews have nothing to do with the whole โJesus fraudโ story. It therefore calls into question Zoeโs loyalty to Jews and his genuine belief in the Jesus story. How can he be so fervently supportive of a people who allegedly facilitated the killing of his god?
I don’t know much about the devil appellation (since you called me a devil too) but the whole story about Jesus as narrated in the New Testament is one of the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on a naรฏve set of people especially those referred to as blacks in the Western Diaspora.
Not only are the writers of the story about Jesus’s birth in contradiction with one another but the play about his crucifixion is riddled with soliloquies that can only emanate from the brain of a schizophrenic.
BTW, MistaB, Christianity existed long before the advent of the three wise men. Next time you get the opportunity to gaze at stars at night take a good look at the constellation called Orionโs Belt and you would see the three brightest stars in the Hunterโs cincture posing as the three wise men.

โReason, (the intellectual ability to THINK Critically,) is necessary for REVELATION (Facts, evidence) to be COHERENT.โ
I like to avoid these types of discussions, but I think your above comment is a very good one, and perhaps you should apply it to everything else as well.
Essentially, you are presenting literature, excerpts, quotes, etc THAT SUPPORTS YOUR PERSPECTIVE and purporting them to be FACTS. Nothing wrong with thatโฆโฆ. your views must be respected.
However, when another individual brings literature, books, quotes, etc that supports an opposing opinion you are ready to throw it out the window, because it doesnโt square with your beliefs. Why canโt you just accept their viewpoint and move on?
Why do others have an alternative view of your beliefs? Could it be they read information supportive of both perspectives, and having the โintellectual ability to think criticallyโ, they made comparative analyses of the information, came to their own informed opinion and, similar to your decision to support one argument, they decided to support the alternative? So, does that make them less intelligent than you or negate their ability to โthink criticallyโ?
There is literature that supports both sides of the arguments relative to Israel and Palestine, and itโs which side of the fence you are on that dictates which argument you will accept. Iโm sure if you were raised in Palestine, you would be presenting information supportive of the authenticity of the Quran and the โinvalidityโ of the Bible.
Donโt you think itโs about time you stop trying to FORCE your beliefs down the throats of others?
@Artaxerxes
“Donโt you think itโs about time you stop trying to FORCE your beliefs down the throats of others?”
Sir, I’m not trying to force my beliefs down anyone’s throat. I’m defending the Historic Judeo/Christian worldview, against the utter non-historic FALLACY of this thread’s headline about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict; which is laced in LIES, distortions, and perversions of the historic FACTS and evidence that transpired leading up to the declaration of the State of Israel in 1948.
I’ve submitted FACTS and evidence in a reasonable defense of the TRUTH regarding Israel, and its historical connection to the Land for over 3,500 years.
Truth, by definition is absolute. truth is the ultimate certitude; regardless of whoever denies this reality. Truth, does NOT need anyone’s approval or acceptance to be Truth. Reality IS* synonymous with TRUTH; and TRUTH is unyielding, one can choose to ignore it, scorn it, or even curse it, but all to know avail; in the end Truth impassively stands its ground in the face of the most overpowering emotional, verbal and intellectual onslaughts.
Laws of Logic.
The following three fundamental laws of logic, are themselves absolute truth, and are universal, regardless of culture, race, creed or ethnicity.
1) The Law of Identity
2) The Law of Non-contradiction
3) The Law of excluded Middle.
Assessing ‘World Views’ bears out the utterly fundamental grounding of logic for thinking critically, objectively, coherently, about truth and world views. These logical laws point us toward truth.
The Historic Judeo/Christian Worldview.
This World view essentially contains claims about reality, which are either true or false.
Therefore, any World view, must be subjected to, and must sustain (3) test in order to be considered valid.
1) Logical Consistency
2) Empirical adequacy
3) Experiential Relevancy
The only religious World View, across comparative difficulties, premised on warranted credible facts and evidence, that meet and sustain all three of these test, IS* the Historic Judeo/Christian World view.
Secondly, and intricately connected to the above criteria for validity, every system must also demonstrate and deal with the following questions.
1) Origin
2) Meaning
3) Morality
4) Destiny
Again, the theistic Judeo/Christian World view, is the ONLY one that convincingly demonstrates and sustains to the above questions, unparalleled with any other religious World view.
The Bible, almighty God’s Divinely Inspired Word, has never proved to be wrong in any of its over 6,000 predictive/prophetic declaration, throughout the course of history, right up to this End-Time era.
Coherence is found throughout God’s Word, the Bible, from beginning, Genesis,to the end, the book of Revelation.
It is EITHER/OR, but NOT Both/And!
I can do no less, than defend it, so help me God! For this I make no apology.
So it be!

Because an individual believes in something and can quote from others who share similar beliefs, does that make it the truth? Truth is confined to an individualโs personal perspective on any matter, and that individual will obviously gravitate to sources of information that, in his opinion, โprovesโ his theories correct, while disregarding all opposing viewpoints.
So, tell me, why are you defending Israel and Jews? Why do you see it fit to post long PDC type contributions, quoting from authors who share your beliefs? Your rebuttal will make no difference to Zoe. Others have been down this road.
Fyi
What is true is that Zoe has studied the Word of God, and is a very good expositor thereof.
I personally admire is patience and determination in seeking to present information that is generally accepted by true Jewish historians, and by men who have studied the Word of God.
Serious scholars and students of the sacred Scriptures are scoffed at on BU, and in other places by many who have not sincerely studied, and therefore have little to offer.
You may not like Zoe or me or other believers—–but that is normal and to be expected – as this is predicted by Jesus, himself.
I have generally lost the enthusiasm to waste time on BU TRYING TO EXPLAIN iSRAEL AND ITS ROLE IN THE IMMINENT ESCHATON.
WHAT IS TRUE IS THAT THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL.

WHY CANT THOSE WHO BELIEVE OTHERWISE NOT DO THE SAME AND PROVIDE CANNON FODDER
Why not bring alternative views, compare them to your โtruthsโ and show us where they are incorrect? WHY SHOULD HE WASTE TIME DOING THIS? THAT IS THE JOB FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE TO REBUTT WHAT HE SAYS
Are you a Jew, are you au fait with Jewish customs, laws? Or is your defense based primarily on you having read it in the Bible?
ONE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A JEW TO BE au fait with Jewish customs, laws AND CLEARLY ALTHOUGH THE BIBLE PREDICTS THE ROLE, REJECTION OF ISRAEL IN THE END TIMES, CERTAIN DETAILS THAT HAVE COME TO HAND AS THE RELEVANT PROPHESIES ARE FULLFILED CLEARLY DO NOT OCCUR IN THE BIBLE.

Sir, I respect your views and often agree with many of your contributions. However, Iโm not going to be in a back and forth on this religious issue, because my thinking is not confined to the Bible. There are just too many inconsistencies contained therein for me to believe it is the absolute truth.

Peter Wickhamโs poll predicted the BLP would have won the 2013 general electionsโฆโฆ.. the DLP won. All and sundry called Wickham a fraud, said he was paid to provide false information and sought to tarnish his reputation.
On the other hand, Reverend Dr. David Durant organised is pray meeting for the then ailing David Thompson. Durant told Thompsonโs mother God spoke to him, telling him Thompson will live. As we know, Thompson died. No one questioned Durantโs reputation as a man of God or even bothered to make mention of what he said. I can likewise say Durant is a fraud.
What is God going to do with Durant for using His [God] name to mislead the public?
Durant has been rewarded with a Senator pick and is Deputy Chairman of the National Assistance Board.
Therein lies one of my beefs with Christianity.

in the NT jesus all but refer to Jews as imposters
here are some Facts from John which verify such
38 I declare what I have seen in the Father’s presence; as for you, you should do what you have heard from the Father.” 39 They answered him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing what Abraham did, 40 but now you are trying to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did. 41 You are indeed doing what your father does.” They said to him, “We are not illegitimate children; we have one father, God himself.” 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now I am here. I did not come on my own, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot accept my word. 44 You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. 46 Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? 47 Whoever is from God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear them is that you are not from God.” 48 The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” 49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me. 50 Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is one who seeks it and he is the judge. 51 Very truly, I tell you, whoever keeps my word will never see death.” 52 The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, and so did the prophets; yet you say, ‘Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.’ 53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets also died. Who do you claim to be?” 54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, he of whom you say, ‘He is our God,’ 55 though you do not know him. But I know him; if I would say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know him and I keep his word. 56 Your ancestor Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day; he saw it and was glad.” 57 Then the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am.” 59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
very very good AC!
So what is your point? You are quoting from John 8. Now Go back to John 1 and you will see that it had already been pointed out there that the Jews of Jesus day HAD REJECTED JESUS
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
all sane serious students of the Scriptures know these things AC
BUT THIS NOT STOP THEM FROM BEING GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE……….just because you can not understand and because you do not know the promises for the Jews in the Escchaton
what is there to understand does not a child know/ or know/ of its parent and likewise the parent knows the child, ,, the back and forth between jesus (GOD ) shows a dysfunction of biblical proportions, ,how can any one read the dialogue in that chapter and come to a reasonable and logical conclusion that these two are inherently of the same family, some thing stinks to the high heavens, the story captures the essence of a missing .truth distinct and apart between jesus (god) and the jews ,,
BTW Georgie in reference to your last comment to repair the damage pointing me to john 1, those are johns interpretations
However in JOHN 8 what is being witnessed are the actual words of Jesus in his denouncing of the JEWS and likewise the JEWS actual words of accusations towards Jesus, there is no second guessing as to who said what ,it is ll written and scripted intelligibly for all to read a real insight of live drama spelled out for all to read , , jesus did not miss a beat in what he said and what he meant towards the jews and likewise the jews fowards jesus, EITHER the story is truthful in its content or a calculated misrepresentation of both JEsus and JEWS, But one thing for sure the story cannot be differing representations,
@ac:
The OT is also replete with god admonishing, deriding, cursing, divorcing and exiling Israel the people for violating the covenant with god. There are too numerous to post, though the uncoupling/divorcing of Israel in Jeremiah 3:8 is worth posting:
“And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.”
How can one have a discussion of such magnitude and dismiss the views of those centered in the discussion?
A: A narrow religious mindset prone to a narrow interpretation of the bible would be dismissive of the Jews since their are but a proxy in their prophetic narrative.
My initial point is that for 1000’s of year, it was unanimous among Jewry that the exile was a consequence of their disobedience. Establishing a state is an extension of that disobedience according the majority of Jewish scholars in the late 19th and early 20th century.
STATEMENT TO THE U.N. SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON PALESTINE by Chief Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky
July 16, 1947
Taken from the United Nations Trusteeship Library
“However, the basic reason for our opposition to an Independent Jewish state as that in prevailing circumstances the officially recognised representation of the Jewish people does not consider the AUTHORITY OF THE HOLY LAW as BINDING in the public affairs of the Jewish people. . . .
. . . .and it is CONTRARY to the wishes of G-d TO CREATE A JEWISH STATE. . .
We furthermore wish to express our definite OPPOSITION TO A JEWISH STATE in any part of PALESTINE.”
The above communique wasn’t the authorship of a Arab or Palestinian, but the desperate appeal of a leader of Jews in Palestine in 1947.
http://www.truetorahjews.org/dushinskyjuly
my point is tha Jesus( GOD) according to Christian teachings denied the jews as being of his FATHER the denial by Jesus in JOHN8 cannot be a mis intrepretation or a misrepresentation of Jesus words when Jesus explicitly states in his own words , That the JEWS are not of his FAther but of the DEVIL, ,
@Artaxerxes,
You are obviously a ‘Relativist’ that is, that there is no such thing as Absolute Truth!? Yes!
@MistaBlack

This Rabbinical statement does NOT speak for God, as Almighty God’s repeated promises, to the Restoration of Jews to their ancient Homeland Israel, as I have posted citing numerous declaration from His word, to this effect, which occurred in 1948.
.
@MistaBlack & @Artaxerxes,
Did you read carefully, the following, as posted yesterday by me, can’t you all understand, what these calculations, reveal and confirm?
That the 907, 200 days = the 2,520 years that Almighty God punished the Jews of Israel for, WAS exactly fulfilled WHEN they AGAIN became a Nation, in their Ancient Homeland, ISRAEL, on May 14, 1948; not its imposed name, Palestine by Emperor Hadrian, in 135 AD.
Proof positive of the accuracy of God’s Word, the Bible! Fable stories, do NOT pan out like this.
As Dr. Martin Luther King, once said: “FACTS are stubborn things, and only the STUBBORN refuse to accept them.”
“Without an exact starting date, itโs more accurate to count backward 907,200 days from the day of Israelโs restoration.
Jews constant in one thing, disobedience. The covenant was NOT unilateral, but it was a reciprocal relationship. God’s support was based on their obedience in words and deeds.
Now, a minority has taken heed to God’s admonition and these anti-zionist Jews don’t support the establishment of the zionist state of Israel. They speak out on its iniquities against the most vulnerable.
@Zoe
Well you are a christian and your theology is in complete disagreement with Judaism. There is a lot of Christian/Judeo talk but you share limited belief and interpretation of the OT.
Since Israel is a JEWISH state, your christian spin on it as you wait for the 2nd coming of “your” messiah is irrelevant.

Sir, you are terribly ‘Ignorant’ on such Biblical matters, The Covenants God established in the OT, are a very extensive and detailed study in themselves.
The OATH of the Covenant.
Certain of the Divine Covenants have their promises CONFIRMED with an OATH by God. When such is the case the covenant become IRREVOCABLE. Without an oath, the promises may be subject to change or cancellation.
The Oath sworn by Almighty God made covenant promises IRREVOCABLE, so that they could NOT be annulled ( Matt 14:9; Gen 26: 23,33; Jeremiah 11:5; Zechariah 8:17). Such is seen in the Noach Covenant (Isaiah 54: 9), the Abrahamic Covenant ( Hebrews 6: 16-17), and the Davidic Covenant (Psalms 89: 3, 35; 132:11), which consummates in the New Covenant with Christ after the order of Melchisedek (Acts 2:30; Psalms 110; Hebrews 7:20,21,28). God’s Oath to His promises is a confirmation and and end of all strife and unbelief on the part of man.
Irrevocable Covenants
An irrevocable covenant IS* one in which God obligates Himself to FULFILL the promises of the covenant regardless of man;s response. It remains in effect whether or not man is fulfilling (obedience) the conditions of it. The strength of an irrevocable covenant IS* found in the key words “I WILL”. Following is one example.
The Abrahamic Covenant. and Blessing of Land.
(a) God promised Abraham to show him a land ( Genesis 12:1)
(b) God would give him and his seed ( Israel) the land FORVEVER( Gen. 13: 14-18)
(c) The land would extend from the Euphrates river to Egypt ( Gen. 17: 7,80>
(d) ALL the land of Canaan would be an EVERLASTING possession (genesis 17: 7,8)
These LAND promises were an IRREVOCABLE, unconditional Covenant God made with Abraham, Isaac (Genesis 26: 2-4) to Jacob ( Genesis 28: 13-15) Canaan land (Israel) was given to his SEED ( Jews, Nation of Israel) for an EVERLASTING POSSESSION. ( Genesis 48: 3,4).
These LAND PROMISES find their fulfillment in ISRAEL conquering Canaan (Joshua through to David; Joshua 1-24; I Kings 4:20-25; II Chronicles 9:26), in other land for the seed of Abraham (Genesis 36: 8,9,43; II Samuel 7: 10-16), and also in Abraham being “heir of the world” ( Romans 4:13). The ultimate fulfillment is in the heavenly country of which Canaan was an earthly shadow ( Hebrews 11: 8-16). As with all the promises of the Abrahamic Covenant, there is both natural and spiritual fulfillment of the land promises.
