Bulbulia said Islam did not preach violence or terrorism and groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS, though claiming Muslim roots, operated outside the teachings of Islam.” Muslims: No terrorists here, headline page 6 article, October 20 Nation

While I believe the accuracy of this article’s headline, actions always speak louder than words. When one considers the current state of world affairs, does it not foster a sense of uncertainty in the general population at the motivations of local Muslims who wish to establish an exclusive Muslim community in Barbados?

Just this summer, many Muslims marched in the streets of London, Paris and other cities to condemn the deaths of Gazans at the hands of Israel. Even in Bridgetown a small group of Muslims, accompanied by Barbados’ patron saint of questionable causes, Mr. David Commissiong, staged a protest. But where are the demonstrations against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria’s horrific, wide-scale slaughter of Christians, Yazidis, Kurds and fellow Muslims?

Yes, many Muslim clerics and Arab leaders have spoken out (again, words) against ISIS’s depraved aggression. But where is the outrage and passion among mainstream Muslims, who should be furious that fanatics have hijacked their religion? Despite their condemnatory words, does this silence on the part of mainstream Muslims, and silence is an action, indicate their tacit approval?

To much of the non-Muslim world, the brutal extremism of Isis, al-Qaeda, Nigeria’s Boko Haram and other Islamic terrorist groups has come to represent Islam. Muslims cannot respond by mildly saying that what the extremists believe “is not Islam” and by dismissing the events in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere as someone else’s problem. Muslims must either reject the Islamic State and groups like it in the clearest possible terms, inclusive of military force, or the rest of the world will come to think of them as masked men with knives, gleefully butchering people in the name of Allah.

  1. The growing distrust of Islam with jackasses taking up ISIS’s challenge adds a layer of complexity to the problem solving.

There is a school of thought that this ISIL is an extension of the Sunni/Shia split and they were/are bankrolled by rich individuals from places like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait etc. The fundamental issue is that it is also about power as ISIL murders any and everyone who gets in their way including Sunnis and they have killed far more Muslims than westerners but they recognized the propaganda value of killing a few Americans and providing the video for public consumption. That was sure to enrage the Americans who gets drawn into the conflict which can then be turned into an attack on Islam (worked before) and before you know many Muslims from hither and yon come to their aid. These young people are cannon fodder and few will make it out alive and some regret their actions but there is no way to back out when they become so entrenched.

One last thing about the Sunni/Shia divide how come Iran which borders Iraq is not concerned ( at least publicly) about the prospect of a Sunni led Iraq at their doorsteps and the Americans are doing the heavy lifting for them? Perhaps there is some rapprochement between the US and Iran which we are not privy to, all will come to light in due course in the publishing of the next biography.

You have dodged and weaved, covered your tracks, attacked the majority of free thinkers here by attempting to rationalise the activities of a bunch of murderers masquerading as ‘god sent’ through a sense of collective guilt. I am not against Islam in this post. I am against you. and the flower pot men….totally and irrevocably.

Are you including Lennox Phillips aka Abu Bakr of Jamaat al Muslimeem notoreity. After all he is on record as being opposed to Indo-Trinidadians whom he accused of owning all the land and businesses there. Are we not hearing the same in Barbados in the last few weeks in respect of the goat lovers buying up land anywhere in this country, those who mutilate their girl children, hide their women folk under gaudy, baggy attire, keep their womenfolk in subjection and do not mix with the average bajan.
Such religious fanatics and lunatics have no place in a Barbadian society. The ability to read crappy religious dogma which supports maintaining ignorance and to regurgitate that crap as the way of life is the kind of thinking associated with the semi literates found in abundance in Asian societies.Imagine India with over 1 billion people sending a probe to Mars, yet 80% of their people must expose themselves to the outdoors to relieve themselves. And there are those goats here in Barbados seeking to impress a civilised community that they are so read in ARABic, they must survive apart, dwell apart and be buried apart from the native population.ARABic they must learn to read their stories of the child molester, not Urdu.

I think we owe the Law Society an apology. I have just looked up their website and at their so-called ‘practice rules’.

What these seem to do is simply restate the standard rules which apply where there’s more than one legal system which MAY be applicable. Thus, eg, the law of the place where immoveable property is situate will govern the disposition. In the case of moveables it is the law of domicile. In other words it doesn’t appear to be a set of rules which permits sharia law in England to override English law where the latter is otherwise applicable. The rules are entirely conventional. Phew. Thank Christ for that.

The call by ISIL to call idiots to arms is a different scenario..
    ………………………………………………………………………………….
How much different is this from the situation in the 1960’s, when the predominantly Anglican / Protestant British Army came to Barbados and other Caribbean islands and recruited hundreds of young men, and took them to Malaya, Malaysia and Aden to fight people of a different religious persuasion ?

  14. Ross

CNN reported yesterday that 3 American girls skipped school to sneak off and join ISIS.

Teens vows to raise ISIS flag over W.H.

CNN reported that American girl of Sudenese descent also kept quiet about her two girlfriends, Americans of Somali descent who were flying with her to Turkey by way of Germany to join ISIS. Ross, do you see the kind of influence ISIS has on the mind of the Muslim youth spreading throughout the world? That’s what I meant when I alluded to the unification the Muslim world brings to bear upon the West, in this case we talking about Radicalized Islam.

  15. Ross

ISIS, call to Arms is being answered in the 4 corners of the world. Now, thus far, President Obama plan to eliminate ISIS has been ineffective. And ss a matter of fact, since President Obama implemented his strategy for eliminate ISIS, its membership has increased brother.

I found your last post October 24, 2014 8:24 AM thoughtful in its construct.

I agree that as United States and it intelligence community exploited religious motivations to garner support(mobile Jihadists) for the war against the Soviets in Afghanistan so has the gulf states in supporting the most virulent fighters in Syria/Iraq as a buffer to the threat from Iran specifically and the generally growth of Shia power regionally.

Let’s acknowledge a universal truth, that that growth of Shia power was a direct consequence of our invasion in Iraq. The most salient conclusion that can be made is both cases is that support has not translated into control.

Jihadists left Afghanistan and thought that those totalitarian governments may be as vile as the Soviets their just fought to a defeat.

IS may despise Bashar Assad, the Alawites and the Shias but they again also despise the totalitarian governments that may have initially supported them.

Saudi Arabia does not like the idea of sharing a border with a Shia dominated gov’t in Iraq, particularly when said gov’t is closely allied with its enemy Iran.

The US and in some sense its 51st state Israel is wondering that Bashar of Syria and Saddam of Iraq may not have been so bad in comparison.

And yes, we find ourselves contemplating a rapprochement with a country that we vilified and showed the utmost disdain for for over 30 years.

America, along with her Western allies has been the author of the most convoluted policies in the Middle East for the last 70 years that has left it/them no longer puppet masters but a fearful puppets.

  17. Gabriel, I hardly think that developing minds can be interpreted as imbecilic. You’re talking about the future of human civilization who is being drawn away and turn into instruments of human destruction. So far the majority of the people ISIS has drawn to its camps are young people from the four corners of the earth.

ISIS beheading videos of James Foley & other western journalist are fake videos that have been Photoshop.
Photoshop is image editing software that allows users to manipulate digital images. Therefore you can take an image of a person & then remove the head / limbs etc.
In addition , the knife used in the beheading videos is a fake plastic composite. A real steel blade reflects light. The most obvious thing in the video is the absence of blood while the executioner is cutting the neck of the victim.

  31. AFP examines claims that video of American reporter James Foley being executed was a staged fakery.

    By Pete Papaherakles —

On August 20, the White House confirmed the authenticity of a gruesome video showing the beheading of American reporter James Wright “Jim” Foley by the terrorist group called Islamic State (IS).

The video shows a black-masked IS militant beheading Foley in retaliation for American airstrikes against the group in Iraq. But some skeptics are calling into question the veracity of the video, saying it may have been staged. Could the fake beheading have simply been a ploy to escalate United States involvement in another war in Iraq?

In a press conference, President Barack Obama said: “We will be vigilant. We will be relentless. . . . When people harm Americans anywhere, we do whatever is necessary to see that justice is done. There has to be a common effort to extract this cancer so that it does not spread.”

IS presents a greater threat to the U.S. than al Qaeda and must be defeated, the Pentagon has said. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel added: “They are tremendously well-funded. This is beyond anything we’ve seen.”

The question of who is funding them remains, since most of the equipment IS received is American made, and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Mossad trained some of its leaders. It has also been documented that al Qaeda and IS are one and the same.

On August 25, The Times of London interviewed a video expert, who said that the video of a British jihadist beheading an American hostage was probably a fake. While he did not deny that the killing took place, he said it most likely occurred off camera.

“I think it has been staged,” a visual forensics expert, who was not identified, told the Times after scrutinizing the four-minute, 40-second film.

“First, although the masked jihadist can be seen repeatedly drawing the knife [at least six times] across the 40-year-old war reporter’s neck, no actual incisions were visible,” the analyst said. “Similarly, there didn’t appear to be any blood spilling from Foley’s throat, and the sounds he made at the moment of his death didn’t sound right.” A careful listen reveals that the sound is akin to a “baah” sound of a lamb being slaughtered.

The Times also wrote that British intelligence agents were close to identifying the masked extremist who appears in the video holding the knife to Foley’s throat. He is believed to be Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, a 23-year-old London rapper and the son of an Egyptian militant.

But beyond the video likely being staged, a comparison between Foley in the beheading video and previous video footage of Foley in 2011, before his kidnapping, shows differences between the two, say skeptics of the video’s authenticity. The voice and speech pattern is different as are facial features and skin tone. The “new” Foley also has a thicker neck and a fleshier face, they insist.

  32. @xfiles December 12, 2014 at 11:11 PM “ISIS beheading videos of James Foley & other western journalist are fake videos”

So where is James Foley, if he ain’t dead?

And where are the other Western journalists?

And where are the other people if they ain’t dead?

  33. James Foley is a CIA agent.
Study the videos , the man in the video is not James Foley.

  34. Former CIA contractor Steven Kelley says that the ISIL terrorist group is a fabricated enemy and funded by the United States

“This is a completely fabricated enemy,” he said in a phone interview with Press TV from Anaheim, California on Thursday.

“The funding is completely from the United States and its allies and for people to think that this enemy is something that needs to be attacked in Syria or Iraq is a farce because obviously this is something that we create it, we control and only now it has become inconvenient for us to attack this group as a legitimate enemy,” Kelley added.

He made the remarks as US President Barack Obama is under pressure to seek congressional approval before expanding Washington’s military air campaign against ISIL targets from Iraq into neighboring Syria.

The Pentagon has already launched at least 100 airstrikes on ISIL positions in northern Iraq since Obama authorized the use of force against the terrorist group earlier this month.

The White House insists it does not need explicit congressional authorization for those operations because they are intended to protect American personnel and interests inside the Arab country.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday that Obama “will not hesitate to use his authority” to keep Americans safe, but added that the president was “committed to coordinating and consulting with Congress” on a decision to hit ISIL targets in Syria.

“If you want to get to the root of the problem and remove this organization, the first thing they need to do is to remove the funding and take care of entities responsible for the creation of this group,” Kelley said.

“I believe that this ISIS group would probably go away, would be easily defeated by the armies of [Syrian President] Bashar Assad,” he said.

  35. If members of the Muslim community in Barbados wish to established a community exclusively amongst themselves, why should the average Barbadian care unless there is cause for concern? If a group of criminals in Barbados wanted to do as the Muslim community intend to would there also be cause for concern?

  36. Dompey There is cause for concern for any group who want to established a community exclusively amongst themselves, I can start naming groups who will try to do it as soon as we give in to the Muslim community, I think we should stop the Muslim community. as we old folks will say before it get out of hand.

  37. As someone rightly pointed out in a section of one of today’s papers, how come that Muslims living in Barbados are able to go into our schools and lecture our children on their religion ,which in effect is a subtle form of recruiting. Will our Catholic and Pentecostal church leaders in Barbados be given an equal opportunity to go into the Muslin Schools and lecture their children on Christianity ?
As a people we do not know who we are ,and are forever allowing others to come here and persuade us, just like the Mormons, and the Bare Foot preacher, who we saw in yesterday’s papers, fully dressed , respecting the House of Law, moreso than the House of the Lord. It would not surprise me if some Bajans do not soon claim Chinese ancestry, and start worshiping in Chinese churches when they become established in Barbados.
Perhaps we may be able to appreciate the government’s construction of thousands of 4×2 rabbit cub homes in Parish Land St Philip, Coverly, Lancaster and Constant , because one day these places may become Reservation Camps for the ordinary rank and file, when most of this country is sold off,as Mr Barrow hinted long ago, to outsiders. Reservation Camps or Nigger Yards? We haven’t move far in the last 48 years.

  38. Nikademus Lawman wrote a new note: What do Kony, “Boko Haram”, “ISIS”, “Al Qaeda”, and Ebola all share in common? by Nik Lawman.
    October 7 at 1:48pm ·

What do Kony, “Boko Haram”, “ISIS”, “Al Qaeda”, and Ebola all share in common? They’re all false pretexts for imperialistic military intervention — plain and simple. According to the self-chosen warmongers of human destiny, your level of panic is correlated to your support for troops in target countries, no matter how ridiculous the underlying proposals may be upon examination. Let’s look deeper into how and why, for example, the false pretext of “Ebola” has emerged in the yellow journalist, Zionist monopolized “news” as of late. Quite evidently, it followed a timeline of succession from Kony to Ebola. In 2010, the US Pentagon made overt the announcement that it sought to “manage” (a Kissinger/Brzezinski euphemistic codeword for imperialistically control for the looting and plunder of resources) over 35 countries in Africa.

The New Scramble for African Resources

Since the early 2000s, China’s positions in Africa have made the Pentagon — with pun intended — begin to sweat bullets. You see, Beijing’s diplomatic approach to resource-rich Africa, where quadrillions upon quadrillions worth of seemingly endless natural resources lay, had always been business-like and non-imperialistic in demeanor. Naturally, through partnerships and bilateral agreements, China was able to import oil, diamonds, copper, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, bauxite, silver, petroleum, certain woods and tropical fruits without detriment to either the supplier nor China’s international standing. From 2010 to 2013 alone, China spent more than $200B on the continent purchasing oil, gas and rare mineral rights from various partners, and with the numbers still steadily increasing to this present day. Notably, and most importantly, China provided $20B in ultra-low interest loans to African partners and relocated thousands of Chinese workers in an effort to improve African partner’s infrastructure and transportation networks. This diplomatic success by China enraged the Khazarian programmed mentalities of the modern imperialists, successors to the colonialism of yore.

Of course, China’s diplomacy is not that of the Rothschild cartel’s, who through the “Crown”, or Bank of England, control the Rothschild Bank’s colonies of America, Israel, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, and other EU economic zone members in turn. The Rothschild cartel, rather, has diguised its own imperialism under the banner and authority of various Gentile host nations — a scapegoating. Thus, when America, France, the UK, Israel, and others go to Africa, they seek not to partner with African nations, but to suck them dry for this group of fanatical bankers.

    Target: Libya – 2011

Gaddafi’s downfall in Libya was a huge stepping stone in this process of conquering 37 African countries on the African continent. Libya, a country’s whose oil composes 98% of its GDP, was taken down via the same terrorist proxies armed and trained in Rothschild colony, Jordan, by Bush et. al., who then pivoted on to Syria to murder 200,000+ civilians while blaming it on Assad, and today have been artificially re-branded as “ISIS”. Once Gaddafi was taken down, AFRICOM was re-established in Benghazi. Benghazi’s base, aka “embassy”, was meant to not only serve as a logistical point for these “terrorists”, armed, financed and trained by the Zionist run NATO, and now being used as a pretext for re-invasion of the Middle East, but to also serve as an “HQ spawning grounds” for the likes of “Boko Haram”, who for all intents and purposes is akin to an “ISIS Jr.”

Kony 2012 – Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan

To further the plan, in March of 2012, what Time Magazine, owned in majority by privity by Israeli owner, Aviv Nevo, declared as “the most viral video ever”, emerged on social media channels (also run and regulated “covertly” by the Zionist elite). The video featured a charismatic narrator and a cute little child to tell the story of Kony, a war criminal who led a religious cult to terrorize and abduct children into his army. The video even created footing for Senate discussions about how to militarily deal with the crisis. Unfortunately, for the planners of the video, utilizing a known criminal as the pretext for something more nefarious, the “White Hats” (or do-gooders) of intelligence enterprise shortly had the narrator in the video emerge on an American street lewdly naked and masturbating in public. Thereupon, the entire notion of Kony 2012 fizzled unsurprisingly, as well as the imperial intent of using it as a pretext for invasive design.

    Mali 2013

Under the pretext of “Al Qaeda affiliated groups”, Mali was invaded in bloody fashion and its gold looted by NATO, along with France sabrerattling at the forefront. Bernard-Henri Levy, an Ashkenazi Jewish Zionist who sits on the board of the 92nd Street Jewish Y in New York City alongside Elie Wiesel, claimed by other Holocaust survivors to be a complete fraud and imposter, exploitative of the Holocaust, notably stated that France was overtaking the United States as a “global guardian of human rights”. BHL, as he is called in short, is also the man responsible for pushing the charge on deposing Gaddafi, with Rabbi Shmuelly Boteach voicing the same from America. These so-called liberators were pushing a Zionist imperialist agenda utilizing, again, the banner and authority of various host Gentile nations, also scapegoating them for such acts in the process.

Another facet of all of this is that these resources, particularly gold found in Mali, are highly necessary to keeping the long-running Rothschild petro-dollar ponzi scheme afloat. The only problem is that while these scenarios are tendered as American interests, they don’t really serve national interests, but ulterior ones as aforementioned. The gold does not go into America’s coffers. It continues to disappear overseas and America continues to need more gold to hedge the eventual and inevitable collapse of the dollar. France, of course, had no issue refashioning its long colonial history for the modern day imperialism that was at play in Mali 2013.

    “Boko Haram” – #BringBackOurGirls

Now, America’s Department of Defense, even though headed by a white hat like SecDef Chuck Hagel, and the US Pentagon, even though headed by a true patriot like CJCS Gen. Dempsey, are infested with Zionists and ultra-fanatic co-religionists, including a sizeable Mormon section. Worst yet, the policy and strategy of the US is dictated by Zionist Henry Kissinger on the right and Zionist Zbigniew Brzezinski on the left, who are the co-authors of the “War on Terror” fraud stemming back to 1979. Finally, US Congress and all US media are completely controlled by the Israeli lobby and Zionist partners. Thus, when presented a scenario like “Boko Haram stealing Nigerian girls from schools”, the US administration was pressured to order troops into Nigeria despite there being no enumeration of the names of these girls easily accessed from things like class rosters. They were never produced. Israel, of course, went there via Mossad and its “elite units” without being asked. But Israel, despite receiving a swindled $250 billion for military purposes has no operational capacity in fact (it is a paper tiger and loses skirmishes to Hezbollah, for instance). So, the pressure to “do something persisted”. Alas, through various means, and despite declarations to “go there” by people like Michelle Obama and a horde of Israeli lobby aligned congresspeople, the “Boko Haram” pretext yet fizzled.

    “Bring on Ebola!”

Thus, it was time to introduce Ebola. Common sense questions pervade regarding this bug that you may have produced yourselves intuitively; for example, (1) why don’t they close off shipping and air ports from Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria where this epidemic is taking root immediately?; (2) if they don’t close off incoming lanes, why don’t they provide quarantine checkpoints at the bottlenecks of travel de minimis?; and, (3) why aren’t disease specialists and doctors being sent there instead of nearly 4,000 US troops?  Of course, these measures aren’t being taken because that wouldn’t cause the necessary panic to provide support for eventual military invention in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria (along with any other areas designated as afflicted zones).

What natural resources do these countries possess? Serra Leone is rich in mineral resources. Diamonds, gold, bauxite, rutile and iron ore are known to exist in large quantities. Natural resources that are found in Liberia include iron ore, timber, diamonds, gold and hydropower. Finally, apart from petroleum, Nigeria’s other natural resources include natural gas, tin, iron ore, coal, limestone, niobium, lead, zinc and arable land. The oil and gas sector accounts for about 35 per cent of gross domestic product, and petroleum exports revenue represents over 90 per cent of total exports revenue. Some incentive, huh?

Mind you, the troops themselves are being put into harm’s way even though, in 2012, the Pentagon unleashed Operation African Endeavor, in which it shaped up trained paramilitaries and formal military groups in 34 different African countries for specifically these purposes. So, don’t be surprised if you hear future tales about said US troops being given “pills” or “special vaccines” to help them against potential Ebola exposure only to find out these “preventatives” caused several psychological/physical problems in them moving forward. Quite similar to every war after Vietnam, and Vietnam included, in that regard is that this sort of mission creep and enabling 34 countries’ armed forces to “fight against terrorism” that doesn’t really exist modus operandi is precisely what precipitated the grander conflicts of Vietnam and more.  This should be troubling to anyone who cares about humanity and any interests ulterior to Zionist imperialism, which does not serve host nations, but a cartel of parasitic bankers.

Regarding the virus itself, Ebola can only be transmitted through the bodily fluids of those who present symptoms. Thus, the notion of a widespread epidemic being uncontrollable and soon to be unleashed upon the world is a fantastic one being heralded by the Zionist media who work hand in hand with the Zionist bankers wishing to provide pretext. Any sudden mutation or variation in this transmission can only be had through purposefully careful and calculated exercise of military grade science, which can also effectivly weaponize the Ebola in aerosol form. Thus, before anyone panics and correlates action against Ebola with military intervention, they should be asking why proper disease prevention methods, as many doctors are already whistleblowing about, are not being followed by the CDC.

    Conclusion

Whether it’s Ebola, ISIS, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, KONY, or another false pretext for military creep and intervention, including, but not limited to, possible UFOs crashing in the future and us needing to get to it before China or Putin does (and I loosely joke about this ridiculous notion being advanced): just say NO to War. To a war-tired American and extended Western public, they will use any excuse to continue a self-serving imperialism that will only lead to the inevitable self-destruction of America and the West under its dollar. Instead of cooperating with these lies, the American and extended Western public needs to quickly begin to re-formulate how it will serve Main Street’s interests, and immediately, as time is running out on being able to do anything at all. While this article doesn’t delve into the false pretexts of “Al Qaeda” and “ISIS”, the same rubrics therein exist and manifest as outlined above for the “new scramble over African resources”.

Finally, it should be noted that despite there existing nationalistic counter-currents that work against these Zionist imperialistic plans as mentioned above, which sometimes thwart the plans, the zombie-like sabrerattling for the cartel still occurs. This should be examined by every human being reading this. Are nationalist-strand defenses so free to work against the plans as they wish, or do the Zionist bankers control hidden pockets of intelligence, military, government, and not-so-hidden dimensions of all media, finances, and more? Let’s remember that the NSA surveillance apparatus was propped up to promote these false wars, and by the Zionist (keyword here is Zionist) Jewish bankers. Thus, they have the dirt on any Westerner (and many non-Westerners) under the sun, including those high up in the feeding chain of various countries’ power currents; for instance, presidents and prime ministers. In addition, in places like the US, they’ve initiated a long plan to make impotent certain branches of government, like the Executive by making the President nothing other than a figurehead, while eliminating any individuals who thought they could alter it to the inverse (like, President Kennedy, who was shot in the face in front of the entire world). So, when the Supreme Court of the US ruled twice that money and election processes were inexplicably tied, the reigns of who became elected officials were handed over to the likes of those with the biggest coffers. And, of course, the Zionist bankers control the very global reserve currency via their petrodollar ponzi scheme.

Thus, it becomes the duty of anyone aware to help the “White Hats” fizzle and thwart the plans of the self-proclaimed, and actually realized, elite.
