A new genetic study released in Nature Genetics found six regions of DNA that are involved in the lighter eye, hair, and skin color of many Europeans.
Some of the genes identified include :

-SLC24A5.
– OCA2.
-TYR.
Interestingly, some of the genes listed above are also linked to albinism.
According to research, SLC24A5 gene activity determine the number and activity of melanocytes. The higher the SLC24A5 gene activity, the higher the number of melanocytes to produce more melanin. That is, the skin will get darker. Vice versa, if the activity of SLC24A5 gene is less and less, the skin tends to be pale/ white.
Genetic changes ( mutations) in the SLC24A5 gene reduces its activity. SLC24A5 gene activity in Caucasians is lower than in Asians/Africans.
Recent studies have identified a type of albinism that is caused by mutation of SLC24A5.
Swiss Medical scientists have done extensive research on the SLC24A5 gene & in 2005, they finally discovered the inhibitor of the SLC24A5 gene. Animals and human studies have shown that SLC24A5 gene Inhibitor II is a powerful skin whitening agent . When tested on African & Asians subject it produced skin tones similar to Caucasian after approx. 100 days.
BLACK MEN & WOMEN CAN BE TRANSFORMED INTO CAUCASIANS WITH SLC24A5 GENE INHIBITOR THERAPY.
The MC1R gene encodes the melanocortin 1 receptor located on surface of melanocytes. When the receptor is activated, it triggers melanocytes to make melanin. If the receptor is not activated or is blocked, melanocytes make pheomelanin ( inactive precursor of melanin).
Mutations (genetic changes) in the MC1R gene increase the risk of developing skin cancer.
