WOW! documents that have been hidden from citizens or access restricted by requests for payment of $200.00 as is the case with the PDP 2003.
Free online. Why didn’t the relevant Ministries, Town Planning etc. put them on their websistes?
And these are public documents created for the benefit of citizens but access to them by the said beneficiaries is restricted.
Now some of the same Government Minsitries can go online and conveniently access their own documents with ease.

Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary Posts Documents
To assist the research efforts of citizens, journalists and academics, and in keeping with the spirit and intent of Freedom of Information legislation, Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary announced that public documents have been posted on the Sanctuary’s Press Centre archive at http://www.graemehall.com/press.htm.
Examples include the Barbados National Physical Development Plan (Amended 2003), the National Strategic Plan of Barbados 2005-2025, academic references, and various other public documents that have been developed and paid for with public taxpayer funds.
Additional reference documents will be added in the future. -

One Dollar admission for adults, free to children, today only. You’re correct, it’s usually $25.00 for adults.

Spoke to someone who was there this morning and there are refreshments and food on sale.

It would be good if the BU family gets some feedback on how the weekend promotion went? We know that some showers might have affected turnout. Whenever we rest on the issue of the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary business we are overwhelmed with the politics which has affected this situation.

On Saturday rain did affect the turnout, but 364 adults still paid a dollar to get in, and about 1200 children showed up.
The staff at the Sanctuary did a great job.
For a day at least it was possible to forget the politics and enjoy the Sanctuary the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
