    Canadians: Beware of the IRS
    https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/fatca-tax-us-canada-1.5353942

The IRS has LONG arms. In addition to the obvious, if you adopted a child born in the USA, if you have ever or currently own property in the US, if you currently or have ever held a work visa to work in the USA, if your spouse was born in the USA, if you have ever been a shareholder in a company which operated in the USA, etc etc etc, the IRS can come after you. Defending yourself against what may seem like a frivolous claim can be very expensive. They make a claim, you have to prove they are wrong; guilty until proved innocent.

  32. food for Christmas

  33. Sweet African music.

  34. Prince Harry is doing his own REXIT, the Queen is going to institute a rule barring any member of the Royal family from marrying an American divorcee (look what Wallace -Simpson did to Uncle Bertie) and when that divorcee happens to be BLACK or the more accepting Bi-racial as the French would say merde!

  35. @Sargeant

What is the big deal? He is only six in line from the throne.

  36. @David

It’s a big deal to the firm (Royal Family), Prince Andrew just dented its carefully manicured facade and now the former “spare” as in “heir and spare” wants to do his own thing sans approval from the Queen and they can’t have that British “upper lip” and all …….

Six in line? Might as well be 600

  37. Given the alienation his mother suffered would have gone into fashioning his DNA. Saying yes to wifey did not call for lengthy deliberation.
