Another night of sleepless bliss?

Worrying about this and that even in my dreams.

Comfortless pillow attempts to swallow my thoughts

only to push my dreams into a strange reality.

Work place is uncomfortable everyone in a distressful way,

smaller jobs replace our previous productive ways.

Politicians promise this and that, telling us to be courageous in time,

hoping to keep our attention away from Trumps goals and demands.

Prices have risen and continue to rise,

Grocers play the game we have all come to despise.

“Lets see how much the customer will pay,

so lay it out there and call it a day”.

Property taxes increase each year as public money becomes tighter still.

your neighbor’s may have not paid their taxes fully it seems,

are the public/civil coffers empty yet?

Can the public authority wretch blood/funds from a stone?

Future prospects used to be bright and shinny too,

but now our young cannot find full time jobs,

and their educational costs need to be still paid,

woe is me, our  bills have finally come in to be paid!

Why do I not sleep in a brain dead slumber?

How can I when fear, anxiety and future tidings stir in my mind?

The Middle Class flows towards the lower class it seems,

as the rich and powerful enact their selfish dreams.

More billionaires and millionaires appear each day,

as the working classes struggle to maintain their day!

I sense a emotion appearing under my minds skin,

Anger needs to be directed my old friends.

When Russians, Americans and the French of old suffered under their elites,

the average person took up arms to get what they all need.

Will our society become a two class system, one rich and the other blow them?

Eyes Wide Open I say, see your neighbors and community this day.

To love is divine, but to hate is gratifying,

envy, selfishness and emotional outrage.

When will we act, stand tall and say enough is enough?

Perhaps never it seems, as I try to gently fall asleep.
