Barbados is a reactive society. We have mastered jumping from pillar to post. Last month it was about increasing violent crime. Last week it was about tinting windows on vehicles. Today it is about violence in the schools and whether to beef up security.

It is fair to expect that navigating the journey of life involves solving problems along the way. What is also true is that a robust governance framework is the prerequisite for the best outcomes.

A strong governance framework in government is crucial because it establishes clear structures and processes to ensure accountability, transparency, effective decision-making, and responsible use of public funds, ultimately leading to better public service delivery and citizen trust in the government by providing a clear framework for managing risks, allocating resources, and achieving organizational goals.

Source: Google

It is unfortunate that we (through our elected governments) have NOT determined that many of our problems can be solved by proactively addressing a failing governance framework. A top of the mind example is the lack of political will by successive governments to implement transparency laws. It is almost 50 years, going back to the Tom Adams era, Barbadians were promised enactment of Integrity and Freedom of Information laws.

The inability of Barbados and Democratic Labour Party (BDLP) governments to commit to greater transparency in government speaks volumes and suggest ‘collusion’. If a father or mother didn’t deliver on a significant promise to the family circle for 50 years, wouldn’t it lead to distrust and disappointment in the household? An increasing level of cynicism and apathy by the citizenry directed at government can be explained by the simple analogy.

Everywhere in the world we observe countries forced to prosecute elected public officials for violating codes of conduct. Yesterday the Mayor of New York, a former policeman, was charged with accepting $10 million in improper campaign contributions. Local former Minister Donville Inniss was sentenced (in the USA) to 24 months on a money laundering charge. Is it fair to surmise Barbados is a puritanical space where political actors and supporting cast are hardcoded to engage in righteous behaviour at all times? Even if elected our elected public officials were perfect citizens by avoiding fallibility inherent in humankind, in any case implementing sensible governance best practices is important to nature public trust in government.

It is disappointing (this is a PG blog) that in a post independence period the BDLP have failed to deliver on promise after promise, every election cycle, to execute initiatives that deliver greater transparency in government. How does Prime Minister Mottley sleep at night on strange hotel beds exhausted after some international exploit?

Barbados, sometimes referred to as Little England should try harder to implement best practices from over there. The following story published yesterday by the BBC is recommended reading. A word to the wise should be sufficient.

How many free sports tickets have Starmer and MPs received?

With debate around free gifts for MPs a running theme of the Labour Party’s annual conference, BBC Sport has looked into how many ‘freebie’ tickets to sports events ministers have received this year.

We looked at the register of MPs’ declarations of financial interests between 1 January and 2 September 2024 – the last time the list was updated – and found:

In this eight-month period, the Premier League gave out free tickets valued at £40,994 to MPs from several political parties.

Prime Minister and Arsenal fan Sir Keir Starmer received the most hospitality tickets of any MP for matches in the Premier League, Championship and Champions League totalling just under £13,000 – donated to him by the Premier League and seven English clubs.

The Premier League also gifted Starmer an additional £4,000 worth of hospitality tickets for a Taylor Swift concert at Wembley Stadium in June.

  1. Another performance from the Bob Marley of politics who speaks like a poet reaching across Africa and the Diaspora. You can see the performer in all Bajan politicians, news writers and bloggers who love the drama of talking for the sake of talking.

  2. This seem to be a new phenomena. This article has a strong title and start and but reaches the finish line with a limp.

We have so many instances of corruption, that there is no need to run elsewhere for examples. If we are being honest then there are two facts that we must admit to ourselves
    (1) It was US officials who pinned the tail on Donville and
    (2) more importantly, Donville was a very minor player is the reported scams done on the good folks of Barbados. His pocket change pales in comparison to the change collected by the port scammers, the vaccine scammers, White Hoax, the steal houses, the HOPEless houses. Indeed if God was a Bajan, he would send along a few more pocket change Donvilles and cancel the other big money crooks.

The examples of others being prosecuted elsewhere is a major point and is what the nation need to strive to reach. A final paragraph/sentence should have pointed out that with our extensive history and examples of corruption, not one finger was laid on a thief. should have pointed out that these thieves are well known and are most likely repeat offenders

    Summary: An appetiser

  3. To be expected you always read with an eye to criticize. The blog has a single emphasis and it is the delayed implementation of transparency legislation by successive governments and it is supported by referencing the ‘mother country’ and the fact that best practice to govern behaviour of elected officials exist which is the model we try to mirror. What the rh is wrong with that approach? If you can write differently why not submit an article?

  4. @David
There is nothing wrong or inappropriate with the journalistic angle.
Yet, in many cases, it isn’t a lack of clarity or scope of legislation, rather, the legislation is wilfully ignored without consequence.
The NIS Act was very clear. There shall be an Annual Report, it will include the following, and a time line and procedure for its submission.
Then it was blatantly and wilfully ignored. Up to August 2023, all shareholders were still reminded of the challenges of cash versus accrual accounting methods. As if we don’t have accountants capable of handling such.
Hence the implementation of Integrity legislation is merely a moment in Parliament. If it is treated with the same disregard as other legislation, it doesn’t matter?

  5. @NO

To tell the truth it is frustrating to observe the nonchalance Barbadians give governance matters. Do you know what young people are engaged this week on social media? It is the ongoing spat between Cardi B and Offset. You can’t make this up. We get the government we are fully deserving of.

  6. Some young people, David. Some young people.

  7. I AM SURE MY SON WITH SAME NAME WHO GRADUATED UWI LAST YEAR WITH A HONOURS DEGREE IN MARKETING, CONGRATULATIONS TO HIM IS NOT ONE OF THOSE YOUNGSTERS.

  8. @ David,
Be honest. Now that the government has disappointed you, you are saying the people get the government they deserve. Why not say : the people did not get the government they were promised ?

  9. @William

First time is an error, second time a bligh third, fourth and how many times to follow what do we call it? This is how many times denizens accept the brown stuff rubbed in their faces by politicians promising.

  10. @ David
While citizen involvement is crucial , it does not come in a vacuum. Citizens tend to be more passionately involved, when they are taken into the confidence by their leaders . We are failing to understand that our political system is more like a culture. It’s like a Kaiso competition-we want our choice to win , regardless of the song entered. It is no longer about the quality of the song. Do you recall when RPG, missed an entire verse and still won the crown ? Once he won his supporters bragged that he was so much better than the rest that he could “forget” a verse and still win !
That’s our culture. If we tell a Bajan that our roads are bad, he asks if we ever went to some other island and saw the roads.
We have seen some who would have killed for Mia, sheepishly admitting that she has failed them but they justify their loyalty to her by saying :”she’s better than the rest.” They are still cleverly, they think , still apologising for her.
Its the same cultural problem with school security. One time our schools were a part of the society. We saw people bringing their animals to graze on the school pasture; youth groups used the schools and the community utilised the grounds when school was out and on weekends.
Unfortunately, we saw crime increasing but we never thought about having the school grounds properly guarded. Now we have to consider searches and other security measures that will take the school properties out of community access. These cultural changes call for transparency and telling the country the truth.
We already know who we are but we must also know what and who we want to become.
That calls for a leadership that is clearly absent in both the BLP and DLP. And however we cut it, slice it and dice it , that’s our major problem.
    We are stuck in transition.

  11. Martinique has got protests that turned into riots
Barbados is relatively peaceful but has a rumble of discontent beneath the surface if you listen to the ‘underground’

  12. @ David

Why should things change? What pressure has the opposition, the press or the public brought to our leaders to demand change? You must see that everytime you post a topic of concern it struggles to get comments. Post one about who get catch with who and you will clear 200 comments though!

The truth is they are not enough here that demand information. The majority are quite happy to go along happy as pappy. We have to be the most complacent people on the planet! Then you have the party fowls who never see anything wrong done by their party. Are these people so politcally blind that they are unable to reason for themselves?

Based on all of this why should anything change?

  13. @William

Our big problem is that we are a passive people. If we have to express dissent it takes the form as being passive aggressive. In addition, every institution in Barbados has been infiltrated by BDLP surrogate. It has become hopeless.

  14. @John A

Appreciate your comment but some of us that are more civic minded must continue to fight. Like William said, we are battling a ‘fast food’ culture, which is devoid of elements that will support the best society we should be.

  15. @John A

Regarding lack of interest in topics like this one, a part of the reason is the lack of consistent coverage by traditional media and third sector to foster awareness in the wider public.

  16. If / as corruption is so rife in BD politics, then an anti-corruption party could make ground. They could campaign on a policy platform of less ministers and taking back their luxury cars.

  17. On Stage.

  18. Apologies for my earlier submission.
    I reread it just now.
    Horrible…
    Terrible..
Trying to figure out how I could have missed so many glaring mistakes.

  19. “To be expected you always read with an eye to criticize.”

I will remind you that there is such a thing as constructive criticism. I will also remind you that not every effort should be complimented or applauded.

The world is full with examples that we can follow. It is ironic that you and the author selected the ‘mother country’ where the wheels have also fallen off the bus. BTW, what an odd phrase to use.

I repeat, our country is rife with examples of criminality. We do not need to look elsewhere.

I have been tempted several times to submit an article, but I have encountered phrases such as ‘read to respond’, ‘write to criticize’ …
As such, I realized that I would not be able to stimulate your senses in the way that you desire. The truth would be a bitter pill.

  20. On the low number of responses…
I have already pointed out that the author did not make full contact with his subject matter. He/she cited a local example
and thereby ignored the vast wealth of ongoing corrupt practices.

The reading public are not fools. You cannot discuss corruption in Barbados by just mentioning our petty criminal Donville. We have seen that $7,500 is ‘No Case’ but we will flog $45,000 to death.

If you want to talk of the corrupt B and D, then give B and D examples. If you want to hold the public interest then point to the thieves now hurrying out of the bank as well as the thief we caught last year.

The article did not live up to the headline.
There is not much to discuss.

  21. Overload!
    Overload!
I will not list them all, but Average Joe has about fifteen items on his plate right now.

The corrupt BDLP is a big issue, but to wake up everyday and worry about crime, an injustice ,system, water, electricity, schools, NIS, Sandals, Savvy, vaccines, policemen, roads, a globe trotting PM, a build up of military forces (for what purpose??) steal houses and the loss of HOPE… is a very heavy load.

Do you think with folks being aware that everything is trick, a con or a scam, that a few loose words will drive citizen engagement. The plate is too full. There is no pleasure in watching the wheels fall off the bus.

Man, get out of your head and open your eyes. The real world is still here. Face it.

  22. I think the point made was
    corruption is everywhere
    everything is corruption
    symptoms are endemic and pandemic

the feeling is the current Government which has a massive mandate
is still a disappointment as shit ain’t changing
BD corruption has been rife since slave trade

the little man woman and child are still being squeezed
the people at the top are incompetent lazy and complacent

    greed and power
quality of life for all is sacrificed for the quantity of life for the few
this applies to all systems of Government and all businesses
i.e. public and private sectors shortchanging clients and customers
    the legal remedies are useless

  23. Barbados is in it’s Antebellum period

Indeed it is and on a worldwide basis

The Deep State is a network of unelected officials, powerful institutions, and corporate elites that operate beyond democratic control. It involves bureaucratic, military and intelligence actors who shape national and global policies for their own benefit.

The Deep State is no longer just a theory – it’s a reality. And until we confront it head-on, we will continue to live under its rule, writes Australian Professor Ian Brighthope.

    Dear Deep State …
    By Professor Ian Brighthope

Hidden Power Structures of the Deep State and Mass Surveillance.
The term “Deep State” has gained significant traction in recent years, particularly within political discourse. Its meaning varies depending on who you ask, but it generally refers to a group of unelected officials and powerful institutions operating behind the scenes, exerting influence over government policy and decisions. While critics often dismiss it as a conspiracy theory, others argue that the Deep State is a tangible and complex network of bureaucratic, financial and military actors who shape national and global policies for their own benefit, largely detached from democratic processes.

In an era where global distrust of governments is at an all-time high, the term “Deep State” has become more than just political jargon – it represents a disturbing reality for many. It describes the growing belief that a shadowy network of unelected officials and powerful institutions dictate the direction of nations, regardless of who is ostensibly in power. While critics are quick to dismiss the Deep State as a conspiracy theory, an increasing number of citizens, journalists, and even political insiders argue otherwise. They believe the Deep State is a very real, deeply entrenched system that operates beyond the control of democratic institutions, shaping the future according to its own interests.

  25. What is the point of making obvious references that corruption is everywhere if we discussing a man made construct? The purpose here is to drill down into the nuance of what affects Barbados.

I made a “PROMISE” just before the “SHABBAT” to circle back around at you regarding your comment made on the other “BLOG POST”…

Good mornin’ & happy “1st DAY” of the week, as the month of September (TRULY A TIME 2 REMEMBER) fades into the blinding mist of primordiality & a new month (Oct) raises its head from the shadowy horizons of present & future “ETERNITY”!!!

Look my dear #BRUH, nothing is getting better!!! You do not look at the “WORLD STAGE” or even at the “LOCAL STAGE” to know that something is “CATACLYSMICALLY WRONG” with “HUMANS”!!!

Anyone choosing denial, obfuscation or playing “OSTRICH” does so to their own detriment!!! Mankind has entered a “NO ENTRY ZONE” & there’s no going back – for there is no “REVERSE GEAR”!!!

    #NothingWeDoWillMakeAnyDifference – “WHATSOEVER”!!!

The #EntireWorld is #Going2Hell in a pan cart, so none of this “PLAY-PLAY STUFF” will even matter anyway!!!

For a once #SupposedChristianNation where #ProtestantReformers paid with their lives because of #Love4TheirBible & its precepts, “PROPHECIES” & penchants – do we not see the said #ScripturesFulfilling right before our very eyes??? Or have we become so “BLINDED” by this “DYING WORLD” that is on #LifeSupport – we “REFUSE” to look at the #SignsOfTheTimes???

“WHEN YOU SEE JERUSALEM SURROUNDED BY ARMIES ACCORDING TO – (Luke 21:20-24 & Matthew 24:1-2) KNOW THAT THE *DESOLATION* IS NEAR…”

That #DualProphecy was #FirstFulfilled in AD 70 when General TITUS* aka #EmperorTitus, son of #EmperorVespasian “SACKED”, “PILLAGED”, “RAPED”, “BURNED” & “MURDERED” countless numbers of #HebrewIsraelites & “OTHERS”!!!

    #1stWitness

The #SecondPart of that “PROPHECY” is to be fulfilled as “CONFIRMED” by the #ProphetZechariah in chapter 14, verse 2, when according to #TheSureWord – Scripture opines: “FOR I WILL GATHER #ALLNATIONS TO JERUSALEM TO BATTLE – THE HOUSES WILL BE DESTROYED; THE WOMEN RAPED, WITH HALF THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY DESTROYED OR LED AWAY AS CAPTIVES & A REMNANT REMAINING…”

    #2ndWitness

QUESTION: WHEN HAS “ALL NATION” BEEN GATHERED IN JERUSALEM TO BATTLE???

    #NoAnswerRequired

Like AD 70, the #TrueChristians had a #WindowOfOpportunity2FLEE* & they did – while this time, there will be “NO WINDOW” – for the #RighteousOnes will have to be preserved under the most fiercely #IntenseApocalypticBombardment from #China #Russia #Iran #NorthKorea & its #EasternBlocAllies V the #WesternCoalitionOfNations that will #WarOverJerusalem with “MILLIONS” scorched 2 death as the #BloodFlow to the “HEIGHT OF A HORSE’S BRIDLE”!!!

The “FALLOUT” across all other nations will make the “HOLLYWOOD MOVIE” the #BookOfELI* look like a #DayAtDisney, as the sheer weight of the “APOCALYPSUS” will render life as we have held so dear, into a #DystopianNightmare of destruction, “ANARCHY”, death & “MAYHEM” – unseen ever before!!!

Let the #Deniers #Sceptics #Naysayers & #Ostriches plant their flags on the “HILL” they choose to die on, but as #YeshuaMessiah said to His disciples on the Mount of Olives on that #FatefulDay: “NOT ONE STONE OF THE TEMPLE WOULD BE LEFT ON TOP ANOTHER” – a prophecy fulfilled 40 years later, in AD 70, likewise, we who #StudyTheHolyScriptures, as did great men like #SirIsaacNewton et al – what is coming during this “GIGANTIC, APOCALYPTIC WAR” – some call #WorldWarThree, will be as #DanielTheProphet described it: “A TIME OF TROUBLE LIKE NO OTHER TIME SINCE THERE WAS A NATION…” (2:1)

#NoOneOnEarth is ready or prepared 4 what’s coming down the railroad track – yet #PoLIEticians #Banksters #Globalists & the “VILE, VILLANOUS” #SYNA_GOG_OF_SATAN believe that they will have the last word!!!

    WHAT A CROQ!!!

#StayTuned – for all this other “STUFF” is just untreated #HorseManure with a very short decaying, stench-infused lifespan!!!

    #WhatACurse
    #WhatTomFoolery
    #WhatMadness”

The blogmaster has no issue with you anchoring your world view in your faith. Human beings are wired to ‘believe’ . The blogmaster’s more pragmatic position is that we live in an imperfect world and we are an imperfect people. It logically flows that as a people there will always be tension between how we live our day to day lives and aspiring to an utopian ideal.

  39. Rootwork for transformation

With the spike in violent crime and violence in the schools among our children, we are once again hearing the call to get to the root of the problem. Whether or not these calls for us to get to root are themselves deeply rooted is questionable, since they usually die down as soon as the spike that inspired them does. It is good that so many of us are at least acknowledging that we need some deep sustained work to dig ourselves out from under generations of sedimented mindsets, attitudes and conditioned behaviours.

Once you truly understand what getting to the root means and the complexity of this task it can be overwhelming, daunting and be demotivating. As a people rooted in slavery and colonisation, almost all of our systems are ill-fitting hand-medowns. Therefore, we are accustomed to fitting into someone else’s agenda and grafting ourselves onto a tree from someone else’s root. This is our conditioned method of finding solutions.

Instead of dealing with roots, we focus entirely on leaves and branches.

Gun crime is a problem? Lock them up, hang them, bring back the cat, remove the tint from cars.

    The educational system is failing?

Reintroduce corporal punishment, keep the children in school longer, abolish the 11-Plus, create middle schools, change the curriculum. All branches and leaves strategies.

Some of which may be necessary, especially as situations get more desperate, but none of which go deep enough to sustain any real longlasting transformation. But these suggestions roll off the tongue easily without having to run an obstacle course of deep thought through the brain.

We have an educational system that does not give your brain a solid foundation in critical thinking, deep thought and innovation. Nor does it provide an appreciation for the philosophical and theoretical roots of the world around us. Our educational system is meant to give you leaf and branch knowledge so that you can pass exams and do the job-work necessary to keep things as they are.

The deep work of transforming things is left to someone else.

We have a political system dominated by people who have been successful in the educational system and therefore may be among the least likely to appreciate its flaws and negative effects on society and themselves. If and when they do realise the need for root-work, they are faced with a challenge.

Getting to root level is heart and hard work. It is long term work. Meanwhile leaf and branch challenges still need addressing.

The general public may not have the patience to bear with the process of addressing the roots. Especially if a government does not take the time to explain. This step of careful, constant and culturally sensitive communication is necessary because a government can’t effect deep transformation without the people’s buy in. In a system where a government is pressured to act like everything can be done in five years, this is a challenge.

Lastly, it is not getting to the root, but getting to the roots. We are not facing a single root but a root system, which pushes through the soil in multiple locations. If you don’t understand this then you will not see how the many issues are deeply connected. You will chop down one tree and another three will grow somewhere else. We know we have to get to the roots. Do we have the hearts and minds for the uncertain exploration and experimentation and the heavy digging that is necessary?

  40. There is a school of thought which goes back to the roots and culture.
It’s called roots and culture music.

    Journey of Learning
Learning is an ongoing practice, when you discover a new / next / better method,
you unlearn the habitual practice taught and replace it with a new one
but you can always go back and combine the old with the new

    History of Learning
Slaves were ‘taught’ how to to be obedient slaves to serve their masters.
‘Freed’ slaves were taught how to be obedient citizens to serve the crown.
‘Independent’ citizens were taught how to serve the leaders of the commonwealth.

    Letting go of the Past
The secret to life is to make the present now the best moment of your life,

Thus everything from the lack of “LAWS WITHOUT TEETH”, to a serious “REGULATORY FRAMEWORK”, to “ECONOMIC INCENTIVE FACTORS” driven by the desire to remain competitive in the market, to the need to access resources or contracts, to pressure to meet financial targets or maintain profits, to the “OBVIOUS” #LackOfTransparency & “ACCOUNTABILITY” has led to the “POWER IMBALANCES” we see – where “CORRUPTION” very often involves “ABUSES OF POWER”, particularly when those in positions of authority exploit their roles “4 PERSONAL GAIN” (AS WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEING IN THE (dis) UNITED KINGDOM OF AMNESIA & PARANOIA)!!!

We can blame “ALL OF IT” on “HISTORICAL LEGACIES” perpetuated by “NASTY” historical patterns & “BEHAVIOURS”, given the influence of “COLONIAL”, “POSTCOLONIAL” & “AUTHORITARIAN” influences that have been wielded against our “FORBEARS” with the resulting “TRAUMA OF KARMA” so firmly etched within our “DNA” that it is nigh impossible to shift beyond “MOUNT STINKEROO”!!!

HERE IS THE NEW BRITISH PRIME MINISTER LIKE A NASTY SOW AT THE TROUGH, WHERE ON ONE HAND HIS MORALISTIC PLATITUDES ARE AS EMPTY AS A SWEET DRINK CAN ON THE PAVEMENT, WHILE HE MORALLY FLIP-FLOPS FROM BIM 2 BATHSEBA IN A COLLAGE THAT IS REMINISCENT OF WHY CORRUPTION IS *DNA* EARTHED

  42. @TB

Label it what you, when the dust settles the behaviour of politicians is a human condition (failing) fueled by the deadly sins of which you are familiar.

  43. Well said by the Green Man! Nothing to add.

  44. I was going to take a pass on the article but this
“We are not facing a single root but a root system, which pushes through the soil in multiple locations. If you don’t understand this then you will not see how the many issues are deeply connected.”
    and this
“Well said by the Green Man! Nothing to add.”
    made me speak up.

Haven’t I, who only see the negative, pointed out that we are faced with many connected problems. Haven’t I repeated pointed out that trying to fix one problem is folly and it may cause another to break? There are many times that I referred to our system as a pipe with many leaking parts. There are many times that I have attempted to list the numerous problems that Barbados and the average person are confronted with.

I have itemized our corruption, I have characterized our society a basically a con/scam/sham/3-card monte society and have been “attacked” on several occasions by bloggers here.

Suddenly, a few smooth words that dilutes the seriousness of our situation; and suddenly ‘some are able to see in the reduced light.

When made aware of our inability to deal with a single individual at a school and we get “Wuhlaus! That story is depressing. We are in serious trouble.”

    I am steamed.

  45. “JIBBER-JABBER #POLYTRICKS IS JUST ANOTHER DAY ON “ANIMAL FARM” – A MERCANTILE PLANTATION SYSTEM OF DEADBEATS, DIRTY BASTERDS & MINDLESS, SOUL-(LESS) BAFFOONS WHOSE EVERY OTHER WORD IS STINKING LIES THAT ARE BELIEVED BOTH BY THEMSELVES & THE MASSES.”

“DO YOU THINK WRITING THIS #SHYTE IS EASY!!!”

It is obvious that is is not easy, you go all over the place but somehow you manage to keep the main threads together 👍

……”You go all over the place but somehow you manage to keep the main “THREADS” together…”

FORGIVE MY TIRADES – BIBLICALLY IT IS CALLED #RighteousIndignation!!!

Believe me when I tell you, it could have gone the “OTHER WAY”!!!

WIFEY* keeps telling me 2 #CalmDownDear!!!

One of the “SMALL REASONS” I have been threatened with the “COPS” or over the many years have been getting put out of “CHURCHES”, “SCHOOLS”, “SYNAGOGUES”, even “SUPERMARKETS” & the like!!!

Thank GOD*, it did not go the wrong way as the below “MOVIE TRAILER” suggests what happens with “THREADS”!!!

  47. Good morning David Blogmaster”

What has become of “WindrushermHal, and of Barbados scholar Dr. GP?
I miss those dear old guys.

  48. @Simple Simon

They obviously do not share your sentiment LOL. Austin can be found camping out on Robert ‘Bobby’ Morris Facebook along with ac. GP probably at the front of a Florida TV watching cricket and singing hymns LOL.

  49. Your lack of comprehension skills are again on display. When have I denied that we have several deep-rooted and interconnected problems?

My point is and has always been that this is a universal problem. And that you should not hold up your stinking cesspool as an example for us to follow, nor the stinking cesspool that is the UK or any imperialist, white man land!

This mindset is at the heart of our problem. The Green Man understands that.

    You DON’T!

If you still find that difficult to grasp, then I cannot help you.

  50. Oh shite! Just reread the Green Man’s article. It is amazing how somebody could read it and miss the main point.

And furthermore, believe that he has been saying the same thing!

    Wuhlaus!
