Delete Negative Energy

Wouldn’t it be interesting if there was a delete button or buzzer to push for negativity? Buzzz. Your bad, sad, rad mood is gone. Buzzz. Complaining is banished. Buzzz. Self-pity is kicked out the door. Delete. Delete. Delete. Negative energy no more.

Humans are energy-producing creatures. We have physically measurable electromagnetic fields generated by living cells, tissues, and organs enclosed in a body with skin. Tissues and organs produce specific magnetic pulsations known as biomagnetic fields. The electrocardiogram and electroencephalogram are now joined by biomagnetic recordings called magnetocardiograms and magnetoencephalograms.  

Body parts (brain, heart, liver, muscles) need energy to work. Food is our source of energy. Energy is released through movement and the effects of gravity. We use energy to breathe, think, and talk.

Brainwaves are produced by synchronized electrical pulses from masses of neurons communicating with each other. Neurons fire and wire together. Brainwaves change according to what we’re thinking, feeling, and doing. Be mindful of the energy your’re putting out and the energy you’re putting in.Our brain consists of 5 different types of brain waves; Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta and Gamma brain waves. Each of these of these brain waves has a normal frequency range in which they operate.

Be mindful of your thoughts. Become a “thought” detective and examine why you think what you think. Are you pessimistic or optimistic? How do your respond to challenges and obstacles? Life has ups and downs. Do you only see the downs?

Be mindful of mental energy. Practice gratitude daily. Declutter the mind with music, reading, journaling, praying. Throw out perfectionism.

Be mindful of your words. The words we choose to use can help or hurt another person. We are managers of the tongue. Change your conversations. Do you often discuss what is wrong in the world instead of what is right?

Be mindful of your voice tone. Screaming at your kids is like filling a swimming pool with vinegar—it doesn’t work. While vinegar is a natural substance, it’s also acidic, which means it can cause damage when used improperly. 

Be mindful of your facial expressions. Do you smile or frown more? Grimace or grin more? “I believe that smiling more benefits you directly — even without its social benefits. You go to the gym to strengthen your muscles. Why not go to the smiling gym to strengthen your positive emotions?,” asks journalist Eric Finzi in a 2013 article in The Atlantic.


Be mindful of your emotions. Negativity feeds on fear. Yes, we all need a trustworthy friend to listen when we need to vent, but a pattern of whining and grumbling zaps energy. Do you waste energy by worrying? Misguided guilt can also drain energy. Are you a blamer or shamer?

Be mindful of sarcasm. Humor can release tension, but rudeness sends feel-good energy out of the window.

Be mindful of social media and comparing self to others. It’s like poking a balloon with a needle. The fake and phony selfie crowd needs a wake-up call to reality.

Be mindful of your reactions. Are you a drama diva or a drama dude? How do your vibes affect others?

Be mindful of the people in your friendship circle. Are you in a relationship with an energy vampire? Or an energy tornado?

Be mindful of nature: sun, sea, sand, surf. Refresh the soul with mountain hikes: crisp air, ancient rocks, wild flowers. Relax on a blanket in the backyard and watch fluffy clouds.

Could it be that you’re unaware of your own negative energy? Tune into your own personal energy field and observe how you affect others. Be aware of vibrations being sent from your voice when emotional.

    Obviously the writer of the article does not live in a world of poverty or have to think about everyday basic needs that are necessary to make life easier
    Obviously her life might be less consumed by disruptions like those who are poor and less privilege through suffering forces them to worry about finding food to put on their table .paying house rent or in some parts of their life the availability of having water daily running from their tap
    Yes getting rid of negative energy is a good thing but nit not as easy as the writer present in the article
    Maybe the writer ought to speak to those people living in the most infected parts of China ( mostly poor) where their virus is raining down terror and unbelievable stress and asked them how is their day going.

    “…and though after my skin worms destroy my body yet in my flesh shall I see God…”

    And soo said Job while his body was loaded with pistules

    What you said about the disconnect of this author cause de ole man to pause and reflect.

    That disconnect which you ascribe to the writer is a very real and present affliction across our community our country and our world

    Few, including your lot of DLP pariah who governed up until 24th May 2018, have the human ability to identify with the average man and woman

    And fewer have the ability that, in the midst of such suffering, to have the superlative quality NOT TO CIRSE GOD AND DIE, when so afflicted.

    De ole man says all that just to suggest to you that, you seriously gots to refrain from any comments that highlight suffering, or refers to lack of empathy CAUSE YOU IS PART OR THE DEMON HORDE! dat got bajans suffering in 2020 till 2034

  4. The article made points on how to release stress but doesn’t give any meaningful advice on how to live in a world of stress
    Stress has become a part of everyday living their are temporary release methods to releasing stress
    However living in a fast paced and pressured environment one would forever be caught in a whirlpool of stress
    Have being watching a video of a man who gave up city life to live in the wilderness his was an experience starting life having to build a log cabin with those things nature avail to him and yet having to protect himself from wild animals and mankind interference .
    One would think that his life would be stress free living alone in the wilderness but the video show the times of how hard complex and complicated this place we call world can be even will living a solitary life away from the everyday usual stresses of the world

    • It is no secret you would have missed the message here. The author seeks to reinforce a messag that as individuals we have to engage is continual self assessment and reflection to avoid the vortex of negativity that is constantly swirling around us.

    Maybe the Chairman has a white wife of American heritage and he likes to make her happy. Just like you like to your wife of Scottish heritage happy.

    I mean all of us like to make our spouses happy don’t we?

    Firstly you continue to speak falsehood i never governed barbados i have never participated in any laws rules or regulations which would disrupt anyone live
    I stand only under the laws of God and therefore abide

  7. My question to you David how is that possible for the average person whose lives is foremost to seek survival
    The article is a representation of having a ” feel good feeling” composed of intellectuals jargon to suffice a few like herself who does not understand the many pitfalls of life which are placed before the poor and vulnerable as they struggle to find meaningful purpose while seeking a good quality of life and being told to count their blessing similar jargon to what is written in the article
    Albeit with a purpose hinged on a poster of All is Not Lost
    Maybe u David having a life of privilege and cannot connect to a live of having nothing hence you find this article most welcoming and appealing to your self
    I love nature but i be dam to espoused language to people willing to fight and break down those barriers that causes them stress

David what u need to delete (is)that all is not equal and there are some out there in the world who have to fight daily against negative forces which impact their living and fullfilment for a better life and be told by these forces to pull themselves up by the boot straps boots which they have no money or privilege of owning
    For yourself i guess all is well and u can enjoy the luxury of listening to the sounds of birds 🐦 the peaceful sounds of waves and taking an extended vacation
    However for others trying to get by is enough stress added to their life which the sound of chirping birds is just a foot note in their everyday life


  9. Very interesting. From Maxwell, Planck, Einstein, Bohr and Debrogle. Matter- Energy unification. At the quantum level we are a vibration of hadrons.

  10. People in general give off different vibes. I generally stay as far as possible from the arrogant and inflated-ego types.They are usually emitting intense radioactive energy, which could be unhealthy for you.

  11. The author could have discussed Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and how one can use that to rid themselves of negative thoughts. It is nothing new.

  12. as humans there is always someone who will remind you or bring up your pass. They will either drop dirty remarks, or make some subliminal messages, anything to show you that you are nothing, and who are you to forget about your pass

    • @Silly Woman, This posting has no relevance to the topic, nevertheless I felt the need to share this with you. Many moons ago you disagreed with me and attributed my experiences to my attitude towards the nurses at the hospital. I your words: i went hogging up the nurses, thus their rude, disgusting attitude.
