It is obvious Ermine was so weak both mentally and physically to be coerced into signing what she should not be signing, it would have been even easier to physically remove her outta there…and into a safer, cleaner environment.

Olivia screwed up big time..she calls Jackie emotional and ranting but she is more controlled than Olivia thinks, because she herself spilled the motives of why she started on her campaign of hatred against Jackie and her mother…even if Oliva’s grandfather owned the property..no one can tell a Testator or Testatrix who to Will their properties to….. grandparents and parents are not bound to any tenants to devise and bequeath their properties to children, grandchildren or any other relatives…so whomever left their properties to Glenda and Ermine’s mother, was well within their rights to do so…and Olivia has NO LEGAL CLAIM on the Estate..
So to actually hatch a plan to manipulate and coerce Ermine in her vulnerable and weakened mental and physical state to write a Will in order to challenge the estate and keep it in limbo for ever…is criminal beyond belief..
..what Olivia did not count on was others having the same ideas to into manipulating Ermine into signing Wills so they too could get their hands on the Estate…….so there is no telling exactly how many Wills signed by Ermine are floating around out there…all of them null and void if no doctor was present at any Will signing…which means Ermine’s original Will…still stands…
…..and given the horribly filthy condition of Ermine’s last days on earth in her house…a doctor would have to be an evil criminal to verify soundness of mind for Ermine.
..they are so stupid and would have gotten away with it, if they had REMOVED Ermine from that filthy house and gotten her the help she so desperately needed to survive…but they did not want her to survive, they wanted her dead, dead, dead….AFTER signing Wills…none of them cared, everyone just interested in stealing an Estate that none of them, including Olivia had any legal right to…..but no one ever said that small island criminals are geniuses.
They should ALL be arrested…including Payne an Marshall..
I cant believe that those lawyers charged maintenance fees, supposedly gave her loans on the estate and allowed her to live like this. they could have paid a maid for four hours a day at $300 a week to go in clean, and cook a meal for the lady. they could have put her in a nursing home. They could have put her in the Geriatric Hospital. what did they take $900,000 out of the estate for? Do they have consciences? that lady had no mental acuity to sign for anything. It is too sad to contemplate.

Transactions between lawyers and their clients usually take place in offices so I fail to understand why Payne and Marshall are responsible for this horrific environment. Jackie and her mother visited in August or September of 2016. If the conditions were as depicted why did you not remove Ermine. It stands to reason that you would see the conditions. Obviously, the conditions were okay with you. Now you want to blame others. What is the date stamp on the photos cause these conditions appear to be cumulative and could not develop between September of 2016 and April of 2017.

Jackie does not want advice. Jackie is so dilusional that she expects that this forum can rescind a legal sale. Jackie is also preventing her mother from retaining the legal counsel she sorely needs. They showed up and forced themselves inside and when they saw the debris they told her that she could not live the way she was living as it was unsanitary and unhealthy. Ermine said that she had become overwhelmed. They called the authorities and since she was a pensioner, the authorities started to clean the property and it took them a week and it still was not complete. Family members told her that she needed to hire more workers to get the place sanitize and they offered her temporary housing. She agreed to relocate but she was waiting for a place that would take both her and Zena.” Being my thorough self, I contacted the environmental services who confirmed that this took place in March of 2017. So I still am perplexed as to why both her sister and niece missed what was in front of them.
Still cannot blame this on those who live 3000 miles way, did you contact Jackie and her mother and request they move her to London for her own safety….bear in mind she was deceased by April..

you see the problem we are having, if yall could pick up Ermine and take her to law firms to sign goddamn Wills…knowing the environment she lived in…knowing you did not seek doctors verification of her soundness of mind and body..why yall did not use the same time and energy to get her temporary housing until the house was sanitized, a new toilet installed, or call her sister and niece in UK and have her airlifted to UK…to help her survive..

I wonder if the dispute is not rooted in the traditional Bajan “christian” antipathy to “outside” children. The feeling of lawful children and grandchildren that outside children should be punished for their mother’s “sins” and should therefore receive nothing from their natural father’s estate?
It happened in my own family where my mother received nothing from her father’s estate, including valuable commercial property in Speightstown, and on the St. James coast. and very little support when he was alive. The state, her father, and her siblings conspired to punish her for the fact of her birth.
None of us has any input into when, to whom, where, and why we are born.
And yet in spite of amendments to the family law act, in Barbados outside children are still routinely disadvantaged.
And many “Christian” people are fine with this injustice.
Before I go and give my offspring a nice Afternoon, I pose the following questions to Jacqueline:
How did your Aunt look when you last saw her? Was she clean and well-groomed? Was she coherent? Did she recognize you? Was she unsettled when you showed up?
How did the family home look? Was it tidy? Did it smell? Did you see debris?
Did your Aunt offer refreshment and did you sit down and talk?

The ole rascal, my grandfather died before January 1, 1980.
However my mother [and me too, and my children lolll!!!] could/can work like Joe Heap mule. So she/we worked for herself and had very good lives.

There is this one case in Barbados..same Estate Cow was trying to tief…the old lady who died cut her son living in London out of the Will..another lot of confusion regarding grandparents Bequeath…..as luck would have it, she passed away, the son who was the executor and a beneficiary, a real nasty piece of work, passed away 3 years later and the son she cut out of the Will now controls the property…because the other beneficiaries who are his siblings reside in Europe and North America and are not interested…so they passed ownership on to him…
Yall really need to get closer to your African ancestors…if you know who they are… and stop…as Bushman would say…all this albinocentric greed..it already turned many of you so stupid…you are unable to function..

Honestly I’d love to see the DNA results, and actually to witness the exhumation too.
But i am wondering how if the place was “supposedly clean and sanitized” would it not have been enough for those given supposedly guardianship of the old lady affairs not further seek intervention by govt or private mental health agencies on getting help for the lady rather than have the old lady continue to live in a mental state of disrepair which would continue to affect her health and well being
It is obvious from those pictures the old lady had no control of her mental condition and family members closer and those taking legal guardianship should have continued further monitoring of her condition
However those pictures also tells a tale of a woman whose riches meant more to those closer to her than the old lady well being taken care of

Doesn’t matter…. The reason for a Will is to carry out the instructions of the deceased person regardless of what family members think should have happened.It hurts but you have to get over it. Doesn’t matter what her DNA is, she could be from outer Mongolia, it was Mr Holder’s choice. You angry at the wrong person, so yes I think you should exhume Mr Holder and whilst you at, see if you can have a conversation with him and ask he why he did what he did. @ Mariposa- You need to stop speculating. According to Ms. Atwell’s confidante, the services of a physician were engaged and he in turn arranged the sanitation intervention after the family members tracked him down and berated him.
Nonetheless, I am still wondering how two of the closest relatives entered those premises and did not act. From what I can see, it is impossible to enter and not see or act.

@ David, as family members, they had a higher “duty of care” and could have moved to have a mental health intervention and evaluation. By there own admission they were there. As it stands, they can be deemed neglectful and accused of abandonment. Mr. Payne had a fiduciary and legal duty which is separate.
One cannot be sure that Mr. Payne ever visited the home. It is entirely possible for an individual to live in such horrendous surroundings and be quite capable of functioning outside. If the individual appears normal, no one would be privy to those conditions unless they saw them. Hoarders do work and return to the chaos each day.
