President Donald Trump

DECLARATION OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CARIBBEAN

(A Declaration that was authored by the Pan-Africanist and Socialist popular forces of

the Caribbean nation of Barbados at Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday 13th January 2018, and

submitted to the people and civil society organizations of the Caribbean for their endorsement and adoption)

U S PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP HAS BEEN DECLARED

“PERSONA NON GRATA”  IN THE CARIBBEAN

We, the under-signed representatives of the sovereign people of the Caribbean, hereby declare that President Donald Trump of the United States of America is “Persona Non Grata” in our Caribbean region!

We further declare that as a “Persona Non Grata” President Donald Trump is NOT welcome in any territory of the Caribbean, and we hereby confirm that we – the Caribbean people – will petition our Governments, vehemently protest against any Trump visit, and engage in popular demonstrations designed to prevent President Donald Trump’s entry into any portion of the sovereign territory of our Caribbean region.

As sons and daughters of the Caribbean, we hereby affirm that the continent of Africa is the revered Motherland of a sizable majority of our people and that the Republic of Haiti — the seminal architect of the destruction of the system of chattel slavery that held our ancestors in bondage — is the foundational cornerstone of our Caribbean Civilization, and we therefore consider that any insult or attack that is directed at the African continent or at the Republic of Haiti is intrinsically an insult and attack that is directed at us as well.

We further affirm that we Caribbean people — in light of our history of experiencing, resisting, and surviving the most horrendous forms of enslavement and colonialism — consciously regard ourselves as champions and defenders of the dignity and fundamental human rights of all Black or African people, and that we are guided by an over-arching and non-negotiable principle of zero tolerance of any manifestation of anti-Black or anti-African racism or discrimination.

It is against this background that we, the people of the Caribbean, have determined that by describing the nations of Africa, the Republic of Haiti and the Central American nation of El Salvador as “shithole” countries, U S President Donald Trump has committed a despicable and unpardonable act of anti-Black, anti-African, anti-Brown racism that has served to further energize and fortify the vile White supremacy system that the said President Trump has self-consciously sought to champion and lead.

We — the sovereign people of the Caribbean– hereby declare to the entire world that we vehemently and unreservedly denounce President Donald Trump and the evil and inhuman White supremacy value system that he represents!

  1. A couple of points here, yes, the minimum wage has increased in some States effective Jan 1 but these increases were due to State legislatures passing bills to mandate those increases long before 45 came descended from his golden tower (almost said showers but that’s for the Ruskies). As to Walmart bonuses this was the classic “sleight of hand now you see it now you don’t”. Simultaneous with the increase Walmart closed 63 Sam’s Warehouse stores and the employees didn’t even have any prior warning they turned up for work and found the stores closed. It also announced bonuses of up to $1000.00 but to qualify for that $1000.00 you had to be employed at the Company for 20 years which pro- rates to $50.00 per year. Walmart had previously announced that they couldn’t afford to give employees increases despite billion- dollar profits and some employees were reduced to obtaining food stamps to supplement their income.

The continuing economic upturn in the first year of 45 is due to Obama’s policies, let’s see how the economy performs going ahead but the smart money is getting out of the market as the Dow can’t sustain its ascent over the long term and is due for a “correction”.

BTW “Lawson” could luxuriate in his Union negotiated earnings and his inflation adjusted pension while the Republicans whom he supports have “right to work”’ laws which deny the right of workers to unionise and earn living wages.

  2. Artax why you always calling ac name even in america politics you cant help yourself negro
Stuart is a person of impeccable character wish i could say the same for the leadership of the blp and her clown of characters
The mention of Stuart and Trump in the same breath is blasphemous

    ` is beyond “rational reasoning.”

that level of dishonesty highlights the fact that Lawson has an IQ of 45.

“You seem to forget that it was republicans that freed the slaves in America……..”

    @ lawson

Your above comment demonstrates that, irrespective of an individual’s country of abode…..it seems as though their “political ideologies” are somewhat similar.

You are essentially suggesting Americans (and more so those of African descent) should vote for the Republicans because they “freed the slaves in America.”

And this reminds me that many Barbadians are of the opinion since Errol Barrow and the DLP were responsible for taking Barbados to independence and introducing school meals, “universal free education,” NHC and the NIS………….

……………Barbadians should forever show their gratitude to Barrow by voting for the DLP. (And this is perhaps why the DLP never neglects an opportunity to mention Barrow in that regard).

  5. @ ac

I don’t care about “the leadership of the blp and her clown of characters.”

But, you must admit the leadership of the DLP is not without his clown if characters as well. Let me start with three (3).

The number one clown is none other than the “Court Jester,” Jeptar “Physical Deficit” Ince. Microsoft Word recognizes the name “Jeptar” as an incorrect spelling of a word. Ironically (and coincidentally), the first suggestion Word’s “spell check” gives is “JESTER,” (i.e. a clown).

The second clown is Michael Carrington, who was hoping to with-hold the property of his former client long enough for him to die and then dupe the ailing, wheel chair bound senior citizen of his property.

The third clown is Chris Sinckler…….here is a man doing the same shiite and expecting a different result. 23 credit rating downgrades, economic policies that continually fail to achieve the desired objectives and the man has a problem with decimals………..and abysmal failure as minister of finance.

The biggest clown is Freundel Stuart……who continues to allow Sinckler to hold that portfolio, when it has been proven to date the bombastic idiot is an abysmal failure as minister of finance.

This will not go away….NASA is a nasty racist organization, always has been, always will be…and to think if it were not for the genius of Black women, those racists never would have made it into space to begin with…

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/nasa-pulls-black-crew-member-iss-mission-article-1.3773764

“NASA is facing allegations of racism in the wake of its decision to bump Astronaut Jeanette Epps, who was slated to become the first black crew member on the International Space Station, from its upcoming expedition.

Rumors surrounding her prompt removal have swirled since NASA on Thursday announced Epps would be replaced on the flight by Serena Auñón-Chancellor, a member of Epps’ astronaut class slated to launch later this year, according a news release.

Henry Epps, in a now-deleted Facebook post, alleged racism was at the root of his sister getting pulled off Expedition 56-57.

“My sister Dr. Jeanette Epps has been fighting against oppressive racism and misogynist in NASA and now they are holding her back and allowing a Caucasian Astronaut to take her place!” he wrote on Facebook Friday, linking to a MoveOn.org petition that demands NASA reinstate Epps.

Many of its signatories also question whether the move was racially motivated and demanded an explanation for the crew change.

“We’re not taking your racism anymore,” wrote Debra Woods Jenkins. “Reinstate Dr. Jeanette Epps as the Astronaut for this June’s mission immediately.”

  7. Artax why would not care about the leadership of the blp.why would you not care? Or what you mean that you like the American voter who put that assine jack a.ss in the white house blemishes and stains does not matter and should be overlooked and self interest Trumps country interest

  8. Antrax its like my grandfather drove a buick my father drove a buick now i drive a buick because it was always dependable. So yes I would have a soft spot for the party that took me out of shackles rather than the ones that rode around in bedsheets scaring the hell out of everyone. The word you are looking for is instinctive , its ingrained in a lot of people that dems will screw you if you give them a chance.
WW when the truth comes out like MLK’s bust in oval office are you just going to change directions and go after someone else.

  9. @ ac

You’re the one who’s to “care about the leadership of the blp,”…….not me. And if the leader wins the 2018 general election….I hope you don’t commit suicide.

However, a statement in your contribution is justifiably applicable to Barbados’ situation re: “like the Barbadian voter who put that assine (asinine) jack.ass in Ilaro Court….”

It’s also ironic you refer to Donald Trump. Similarly to how the Democrats in the USA were convinced Hilary Clinton would have won the 2016 elections and wrote off Trump, calling him all types of names and that he was unfit for the presidency……

……..the DLP and their yard-fowls have already written off the leaders of the BLP, UPP, BIM and Solutions Barbados, because they are convinced Freundel Stuart will be victorious at the upcoming polls.

Perhaps after the results of the elections, similarly to how the USA Democrats have not accepted defeat by Trump and one year after they are still licking their wounds……..

………..the Barbadian Democrats may find themselves in that predicament.

Lawson…they are ALL racist scum and are not to be trusted, they all wear white sheets and hoods in their spare time and plot to rob, discriminate against, kill and mistreat Black and Brown people..

….. unfortunately the system is set up so that the most vulnerable and simple minded do not have a 3rd or 4th option, nor are they awake enough to resist….so there you have it.

The real resistance has only now started and needs time.

I do not delude myself about thieves and racist criminals, their ancestors were thieves and racist criminals for 500 years, 5 centuries…..

……outside of a massive spiritual purge…all you will get from any of them are thieves and racist criminals….for another 500 years.

You do not get bananas from apple trees.

    Capiche?

    @ lawson

With the exception of ac’s contributions…….I have never seen so much shiite posted to BU…… and especially from a man who says he intelligent.

Based on his comments and actions, it is clear Donald Trump is a racist.

(1). “When a black woman asked to rent an apartment in a Brooklyn complex managed by Donald Trump’s real estate company, she said she was told that nothing was available. A short time later, a white woman who made the same request was invited to choose between two available apartments.”

“The two would-be renters on that July 1972 day were actually undercover “testers” for a ¬government-sanctioned investigation to determine whether Trump Management Inc. discriminated against minorities seeking housing at properties across Brooklyn and Queens.”

According to the Federal Government, in the 1970s Trump’s real-estate company tried to avoid renting apartments to African Americans and gave preferential treatment to whites tenants.

In October 1973, the Justice Department filed a civil rights case that accused the Trump firm, whose complexes contained 14,000 apartments, of violating the Fair Housing Act of 1968…..and alleging that African-Americans and Puerto Ricans were systematically excluded from renting apartments.

(2). Do you recall the “Central Park Five?” These were 5 young black men who were WRONGFULLY convicted in 1989 of raping a woman that was jogging in New York City’s Central Park.

On May 1, 1989, Trump reportedly paid $85,000 to take out advertising space in four of the city’s newspapers, including the New York Times. Under the headline “Bring Back The Death Penalty. Bring Back Our Police!” and above his signature, Trump wrote: “I want to hate these muggers and murderers. They should be forced to suffer and, when they kill, they should be executed for their crimes. They must serve as examples so that others will think long and hard before committing a crime or an act of violence.”

In 2002, The Central Park Five were subsequently exonerated of the crime and eventually awarded a $41 million settlement from New York City in 2014. But over the decades, even as it became increasingly clear that the Central Park Five were innocent, Trump has continued to call for their deaths, and even criticized the city for its multi-million dollar settlement.

(3). Trump accused Obama of being born in Kenya and falsely stating he was born in America…… and asked him to produce his birth certificate.

For years Trump was one of the leading voices in the birther movement, a racist conspiracy theory that questioned the legitimacy of the nation’s first black president.

Read Trump’s tweet: “An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that @BarackObama’s birth certificate is a fraud.” — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 6, 2012

(4). Trump began his 2016 presidential campaign by saying Mexican immigrants are criminals and rapists.

(5). I’m sure you recall the cases in which the plaintiffs allege Trump University duped them into paying tens of thousands of dollars on the belief they would be trained to learn Trump’s real estate strategies.

Trump said the judge presiding over the case U.S District Judge Gonzalo Curiel may be biased against him because of his Mexican heritage.

(6). In June 2017, Trump allegedly stated 15,000 recent immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS” and the 40,000 Nigerians, once seeing the United States, would never “go back to their huts” in Africa.

Trump’s “antecedents” proves he isn’t any DIFFERENT from “the ones that rode around in bedsheets scaring the hell out of everyone.”

So…despite’s Trump’s racist rhetoric…. and because you still have “a soft spot for the party that took (you) out of shackles,” you are PREPARED to EMBRACE a man who wants you WEAR those SHACKLES AGAIN.

  12. LOL antrax everbodys racist…. you have become white (pardon the pun) noise. You guys have overused the world so much it means nothing anymore. Its like now when you here a woman say fuck in conversation.

  13. In as much as i hate Trump and his offensive language there is merit in sending back illegal immigrant who for the most part are satisfied working for nothing and have no abilty to fight for their rights and because of these inhumane roadblocks have contributed in keeping the american low end labourer wages and stagnant and at aomostvslave labour levels.
Having illegal immigrants out of the picture it paves a way forward for the low end labourer and opens another door forcing employers to pay a wage that is comparable and decent or close to the america growing economy .

She can string together logic and reasoning which Kellman/Paul/Ince cannot do, even if they tried.
a,c ya forgot that illegals doan pay income tax, only sales/consumption taxes. Nor “should’ they be able to vote. Nor can they avail themselves of certain government sponsored aid.
yardfowl = politically loyal without fluctuation or remorse. Not necessarily stupid.

  15. Bro in the USA you would be surprised how many illegals get more welfare than legals the have strung together a system that allows them to get through the back door without being detected
The system has a network of Friends and family working in the govt and who have access to the system and who have methods by which to undermine through ways of helping their family

To get rid of the greedy, corrupt government that sells the poorest people out to the shitty, fast food dumps and hotels for slave wages….they got the voting power to do just that….tick, tock.

  24. If there is one thing I admire about…..it’s your honesty.

You have a penchant for using metaphors to accurately describe yourself and syllogisms to describe others. And your insults are often based on “reflections” of your personality and actions.

The metaphors in your comment re: “…….like the sewer system yuh like to spill nuff poo,” is an accurate description of your contributions, while the insult re: “…….really dont know if its your lack of capacity or your oversized bloated ego,” is an accurate description of you.

You already tried to convince BU that “for within any given month it is totally impossible for (you) to be actively involved every single day on BU.”

Remember: “ac March 20, 2016 at 1:32 PM #: “Sir much of my time is spent administrating and managing a large company and at intervals would comment within a working environment that can be a cause for me to be distracted…” But we know that is a blatant untruth……. you were on record as having the most contributions to BU.

How do you use syllogisms to describe other contributors? “Your lack of capacity” causes you to conclude: “The BLP criticizes the DLP…….people criticize the DLP………therefore, all critics of the DLP are members of the BLP.”

You are also an “EQUIVOCATOR,” which is characterized by writing ambiguously, (e.g. “oversized bloated ego),” not telling the “whole truth” and using unclear expressions (equivocal language), usually to avoid commitment or in order to deceive and mislead contributors.

    UH LIE????
    Hahahahaha…..
    Wuh loss….murda

how many illegals get more welfare than legals….Fully aware, but you have to be careful how far you go at times?

“Having illegal immigrants out of the picture it paves a way forward for the low end labourer and opens another door forcing employers to pay a wage that is comparable and decent or close to the america growing economy.”

Why don’t to shut your sluice gate sometimes to stop the leaking sewage from your mouth?

So how come such a turnaround of economic prosperity for the low-paid Bajan workers did not occur when your dirty lying party rounded up the Guyanese, Gestapo style, and sent them packing back to Guyana?

The modern American economy is built on immigrant labour whether with black slave labour or poor-great West Indians like you to clean the white people shit, look after their brats and cook and serve their meals.

  31. Mexican illegals in Texas?

  32. de pedantic Dribbler Avatar

@Miller, it extends well beyond that as iI am sure you know.

That mamouth US economic engine must be greased with cheap labour. Those who come over from South America legally on seasonal work permits or those of us from the Caribbean who immigrate is one quite small component in the total mix.

The explosively growing trade deficit between US and China is significantly more indicative of a US dependence on cheap labour for their heavy consumption.

Higher base wages in US will not be driven directly by better control of the supposedly illegal work force but rather by societal ‘pressure’ of the liberal minded and the ‘so what’ attitude of the corporate chietans who can still book awesome salaries and enhance shareholder values.

Tax breaks will blow the deficit but that is not a big deal for the US as the rest of the world MUST continue to finance its debt (see China above as an example)…thus this Republican tax policy will be to their political benefit.

Chuck Schumer hits Trump: Mr President it’s over

Published 4 hours ago on January 24, 2018 By Viswajith

Politico has reported that Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) has reportedly withdrawn an offer he previously made regarding funding for President Trump’s border wall.

Politico reported, Schumer told the White House through an aide that he was withdrawing the offer to give more than $1.6 billion in funding for Trump’s proposed border wall, .

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.). speaking on the reported offer, said Schumer “took it off.

Accordong to Politico, “He called the White House yesterday and said it’s over,” Durbin said.”

  34. Comparing Barbados economy to America is ludicrous.
If america can no longer keep up with illegal immigrants in lieu of evidence which supports that illegal immigration has been economical for the wealth of America. Then how in the world can one expect a third world developing country with a one egg nest basket and one hundred and seventy eight mouths to feed (most of which are dependable on govt jobs) to encourage an additional workload of foreigners who for the most part would take jobs away from the home grown natives
If america can cry belly ache with their enormous resources with a proposal to build a wall and eject illegals then why should such implentations be imposed on these small islands having nothing to offer

  35. Schumer is withdrawing the offer because he took a lot of heat from his caucus as well as the Democratic base for appearing to appease to 45 and the Republicans. 45 is saying “no wall no DACA” which also genuflects to his base. Both men are seemingly locked in inflexible positions so after Feb. 8 it will be a continuing stalemate.

“Comparing Barbados economy to America is ludicrous.”

But not when it suits you!

Why then are you still blaming a non-existent international recession in America for the many downgrades and economic woes still plaguing Barbados?

So why are your stupid ministers asking people to breed? How do they plan to look after and where do they intend to send these parasites when they are hatched and weaned? Onto the local blocks of unemployment or export them to the same America as did their great grand parents?

  37. @Dee Word

You have touched on the challenge for Trump make America great again campaign. US businesses have tried to stay competitive by exporting their businesses to low cost cheap labour sweat shop areas of the globe as well as integrating cheap labour at home. Illegals in the US is a big cog in the wheel of the underground economy which helps to drive commercial activity.

Justin Trudeau announced major Trade agreement without United States

Published 6 hours ago on January 24, 2018 By Viswajith

Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced on Tuesday that Canada — along with the 10 other remaining countries in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) — would work toward creating a revised trade agreement.

The Canadian PM said in a statement that the countries involved — not including the U.S. — finished talks in Tokyo on a “new Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).”

In the statement, Trudeau said that “strengthening Canada’s economic relationship with countries in the large and economically fast-growing Asia-Pacific region to support prosperity and create jobs for our middle class is a priority for Canada.”

He said Canada had always said it would agree to a deal that is in Canada’s best interests.

“To that end, Canada has been working very hard on the new CPTPP, from spearheading the first meetings of officials in May 2017 to proposing several suspensions and changes to secure better terms for Canadians throughout this burgeoning region,” he said in the statement.”

  40. Trump might be a smart a ss but he knows that the logistics for the economic future of america lends itself to a labour market which is driven by technology and artificial intelligence which is more effective and economical in getting more done resulting in a lesser need for intensive labour by illegal immigration
Then why should america encourage this type of immigrant who in the long run would not be able to keep up with a new form of labour wherby jobs are depleted and therefore having to join a long list of free social programs at tax payers expense
Like everything else there comes a time when all good things come to an end

“Eleven Nations Just Told Trump To Go Screw Himself In Switzerland After He Has Temper Tantrum

He’s an embarrassment on the world stage.

    By Sharon Cox 02059

Adding to the increasing evidence that President Trump has no business going to the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, 11 countries have just gone ahead and signed a trade agreement that excludes the United States. Were it not for President Trump, the United States would also be a signatory on a new version of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

    According to Bloomberg News:

The 11 members of a Pacific trade pact abandoned by U.S. President Donald Trump have reached a deal on a revised agreement, with the nations expecting to sign a final deal by early March.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday negotiations had concluded on what is now known as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership. The deal was reached after two days of talks in Tokyo, and came just hours after Trump imposed tariffs on imported solar panels and washing machines — his first major move to level what he says is a global playing field tilted against U.S. companies.

The 11 countries in the trade pact are, in alphabetical order, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. Speaking today from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, according to Bloomberg News, “The agreement reached in Tokyo today is the right deal. Our government stood up for Canadian interests and this agreement meets our objectives of creating and sustaining growth, prosperity and well-paying middle-class jobs today and for generations to come.” Trudeau understands that there is both mutual and individual country gain from such trade pacts, as does most of the rest of the world.”
