donald-trumpDuring the Nixon administration John Dean walked into the Oval Office and told the president of a cancer on his presidency. The long-laboured elevation of the madman, Donald Trump, puts us in a far worse position. For it comes at a time when all the indicators, in all environments, suggest a nearing collapse of human civilization. The Executive Order is the main instrument of this madman, would-be-dictator.

We have here a man who has hardly been able to hire the thousands of political appointees needed to run government. In additional, thousands of civil servants have opted not to work under him or have retired early. What is clear is that Trump never had a plan if he won, gave no consideration to what winning was to mean. As a result the greatest country in the world, so-called, is currently being run like a one-door shop while the Doomsday Clock advances to two and a half minutes to midnight.

Trump talks about a โ€˜wallโ€™. Building a wall on the Mexican border and having the Mexicans pay for it. Not the Canadian border. Not to keep out illegal Europeans, but Mexicans. Only a racist madman could process the thought of building a defensive wall, 2000 miles long, in 2017. Up to 1200 miles of which would have to be in the middle of the Rio Grande.

The Rio Grande, a river shared by both countries. Normal thinking would suggest that such a border can never be so protected and not since the Great Wall of China, constructed over many years and in parts, has such a feat been attempted. Moreover, environmental conditions may soon be driving Americans to Mexico and beyond, in their droves. If Trump were not insane he could be best advised to leave the โ€˜back doorโ€™ opened for this exit strategy.

He characterizes himself as a builder. He is not. He is better described as a developer. A developer who has no engineering skills. What he does, is to employ others (project managers, engineers, RE agents, general contractors, architects, etc) with a range of skills and he provides the funding to achieve project objectives. Most structural engineers agree that such a wall could be possible but give no guarantees that it would be fit for Trumpโ€™s purposes โ€“ effectively keeping out Mexicans and others coming from South America.

Trump has threatened executive action to hinder transfers from the federal government to major โ€˜sanctuary citiesโ€™. Cities which have clearly indicated they non-cooperation with his โ€˜undocumented residentโ€™ policy. The truth is that major cities benefit greatly from the cheap labour of the undocumented. Even Germany tried this recently viz-a-viz Syrian ‘refugees’. Capitalism must have a pool of slave or cheap labour.

His policies will disrupt too many families containing both documented and undocumented members. Whatโ€™s more, sanctuary cities transfer up to 20% more to the federal government than the feds return to them. They carry (financially) the mainly Republican, largely White, southern, central, mid-western states. Only a madman, power drunken as he clearly is, would challenge from such a position of relative weakness. Trump can only hurt his master race.

As the Economistโ€™s Democracy Index downgrades the USAโ€™s rating, Trump feels able to contend that 4 to 5 million people voted illegally for his opponent. Trumpโ€™s madness will not allow him to accept that most Americans did not vote for him, even in his electoral college victory. How could it not be possible for a man who could rise to the highest office in the land not know that 2 million people die between election cycles? What kind of narcissism would preclude Trump from empathizing with a human circumstance where deceased persons are not effectively removed from votersโ€™ lists?

Trumpโ€™s executive orders seek to effectuate a promise to create a Muslim ban or registry. Even Madeline Albright, a woman who thought the illegal killing of 500K Iraqi children was โ€˜worth itโ€™, has offered to be listed as a Muslim on this Schindlerโ€™s List. Trumpโ€™s order will selectively list the same Islamic majority countries disliked by Obama and Bush regimes.

The executive order does not list Saudi Arabia, the singular country from whence the Wahhabi/Takfiri/terrorist ideology flows. Instead we have countries like Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen serving as stand-ins for the real enemy of us all. The madman, Trump, also leaves off countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan. Could this be the capriciousness of a lone madman or is the system itself insane? How can a country deliver this man to the highest office if that country is not as he is?

These impulsive, unpredictable madmen/women, and we must include his closest advisers and enablers who seem to believe that they can play with fire without consequences. We are especially thinking about Jared Kushner, the Zionist Jew, who has placed in the mind of the principle madman the idea that East Jerusalem could be formally annexed without consequences. They must know that even a madman with his finger on the nuclear codes could be made to see sense. That action may be seen as minor and as a favour for Jared Kushnerโ€™s Zionist friends in the Likud but will instead lead to the final battle of Armageddon, we guarantee you. And Pax-Judaica will not emerge as the world power you seek. Instead the work of Adolf may be properly completed.

We also must take umbrage at some people for whom weโ€™ve had a modicum of respect. People who, with generally just cause, have been supportive of Trump. People like Paul Craig Roberts (PCR), Charles Ortel (CO) and others who seek to maintain a narrative that Trump is somehow the innocent one here.

We are to believe that Trump is the one who comes to give us freedom from an over-bearing government. Yet, especially White men like PCR and CO (both Republicans) would seek to have Black people exchange a history of the deprivations of White supremacy to blindly buy into some newfangled narrative having a madman at its centre. We say to PCR, CO and their White friends, F**k-off!

Today Dr. Guy McPherson masterfully condensed all the climate changes that have been occurring, largely unnoticed, and has concluded that we may have less than 10 years left. Most times, we are too focused on singular climate events but McPherson has estimated what these changes, together, mean for life on planet earth.

He postulates that climate changes will severely impede our ability to grow grains, enough to feed ourselves. Grains have been central in the development of mankind. And instead of facing up to this terrible possibility, we are to deal with a madman who is more confident in his own ability to complete the task of the annihilation of humans sooner than the induced consequences of climate change.

Have any Americans ever killed any Muslims, deliberately for ideological reasons?

  4. @chad99999 January 28, 2017 at 12:12 PM . “I donโ€™t see Barbados inviting immigrants from Iraq, Iran and such to settle here.”

The United States has a population density of 90.6 per square mile

Barbados has a population density of 1709.4 per square mile.

If the United States had a population density of 1709.4 per square mile Americans would be eating each other alive.

The United States does not accept refugees because of American generosity or American exceptionalism. The United States accepts accepts refugees principally because demographically it can afford to do so.

Barbados because of its population density is hard pressed to accept refugees although when there was a major volcanic eruption in Montserrat in 1995 Barbados did accept some Montserratian refugees.

  5. @lawson January 28, 2017 at 5:02 PM “people land and your airport and sue you and are not citizens.”

So you don’t believe that people land at American airports and sue Americans too?

    Stupssseee!!!

Cousin of mine did it. They did a stop and frisk at Kennedy airport. What is a young black man like you doing with so much money etc. etc.?

You know how American officialdom can be with young black men?

Once the lawsuit for wrongful detention, search, etc. was settled he had a good few hundreds of thousands US$ which he injected into his already very successful Bajan business.

Yup. Bajans successfully sue Americans too.

  9. The Washington Post has an article on the real reason those seven countries were singled out for the ban โ€˜No Trump business interestsโ€. It stands to reason if he was instituting a ban on citizens from some countries Saudi Arabia would be at the top of the list followed by some Gulf States as many terrorists come from those countries but those countries are home to some of his many business interests.

No wonder he wouldnโ€™t release those tax returns

  10. After 15 Saudi Arabians bombed New York City (including some of my school mates and relatives) and Washington, D.C. nothing bad happened to the Saudi people. In fact members of the Saudi Royal family were escorted safely home.

But it was the Iraqis who got hit.

Nothing bad is happening to the Saudis now either, even though the Saudi’s are funding the Wahabbi jihadis…but the Somalis are getting screwed. The Somalis.

Nothing bad will happen to the Saudis as long as they have oil and a royal family. The Americans are too enamoured of royalty.

    @Sarge
    you are an intelligent fella.
The USA instituted Income Tax in one form or another, in the early 1800’s.
The first President to release tax returns, was Nixon, and he was then in office in 1973. He did so to prove “he was not a crook”, though events later in his term brought that into question.
And so it became a trend for incoming Presidential candidates to do so, even though not all complied.
What can we gain from a SINGLE PERSONAL tax return? I’ll tell ya,,,sweet phuck all. Most of the wealthy’s riches are hidden away in corporate returns, and even then, you have a tough time connecting the dots.
Did Froon, or OAS or Mia or DavidT or Trudeau or Harper or Wynne or any other list of political leaders provide voters with copies of their tax returns??
This is alot of bullsh!t. And Trump proved you can WIN without doing so?
What became a trend in 1973 may now have changed.
I am no particular fan of the Donald, but it has always baffled me what a tax return has to do with somebody’s ability to win an election. Or their ability to be good/bad in that position.

DT’s affect on the media is rather interesting.
    The Canadian experience.
This week, several of the major mainstream outlets, both print and TV, came out begging for Gov’t support to quell the onslaught of digital media (read Google and FB), who were gobbling up ad dollars they previously had. The argument (weak) is they are a major foundation of democracy, and these ad $$$ end up in USA or offshore coffers. They have known since 2000 of the coming digital threat to their business.
Then on Saturday, the Toronto Star, a traditional bastion of Liberal views and party support, exploded on Liberal Premier Wynne for re-negging on her promise to support Highway tolls in Toronto, IF the Toronto City Council approved them, as they did.
Do they now feel compelled to print what is rationally logical, rather than pulling some political spin?? Do they need to show after the outrage at DT’s inability to count at his inauguration, that they can report the truth?
Time will tell, but an interesting first week.

Why am I not surprised that it’s the Guiliani donkey that crafted the muslim ban document, Guiliani was a state prosecutor, not an immigration lawyer and should have known anyway that the judicial arm of government works extremely well and swiftly in the US, any federal judge can overturn a president’s executive order with a filed writ of habeas corpus.

I would npt expect the fool trump to know this, he is too busy stuck in his head filled with of lies, but his sister is a federal judge, I believes she sits on the supreme court bench and should have told him his powers are very limited and his executive orders can be successfully overturned by the judicial branch of government for all 4 years if he lasts that long,.

The Saudis are the glue that held the American economy together for the last 40 years.
Kissenger signed a pact with them to trade their oil ONLY in US dollars …which is the ONLY basis on which their fiat money is worth any thing more than shit.
In exchange they remain fully under US military protection….and can do as they like…

All it would take for the USA to become a banana republic overnight…. OVERNIGHT!!… is for major trade in oil to be done in ANY OTHER currency, or basket of currencies.

The powers-that-be in the US are probably trying desperately to get these facts-of-life over to Trump… but that seems to be much like trying to talk sense to our John of BU…. ๐Ÿ™‚

But perhaps he may not be as dumb as he looks, (Trump) since the REAL power to eradicate the ‘Petro-dollar’ now lies in the hands of one ‘Putin’ of Russia …. a man whose pooch Trump seem to be ready to lick…..

In any event, the fate of the USA – and their ability to continue living on debt, now lies in the hands of strangers….

The time has come to say it: there is something psychologically wrong with the President.

The fuzzy outlines of President Trump’s likely mental illness came into sharper focus this week: in two interviews with major networks, he revealed paranoia and delusion; he quadruple-downed on his fabrication that millions of people voted illegally, which demonstrated he is disconnected from reality itself; his petulant trade war with Mexico reveals that he values self-image even over national interest; his fixation with inaugural crowd size reveals a childish need for attention.

Partisans have been warning about Trump’s craziness for months, but rhetoric from political opponents is easily dismissed; it’s the water of the very swamp the President says he wants to drain.

But frightened by the President’s hubris, narcissism, defensiveness, belief in untrue things, conspiratorial reflexiveness and attacks on opponents, mental health professionals are finally speaking out. The goal is not merely to define the Madness of King Donald, but to warn the public where it will inevitably lead.

Trump name-checks dubious, fact-free source in voter fraud claim
“Narcissism impairs his ability to see reality,” said Dr. Julie Futrell, a clinical psychologist, who, of course, added a standard disclaimer because she has never actually treated Trump. “So you can’t use logic to persuade someone like that. Three million women marching? Doesn’t move him. Advisers point out that a policy choice didn’t work? He won’t care. The maintenance of self-identity is the organizing principle of life for those who fall toward the pathological end of the narcissistic spectrum.”

A little background: Shrinks don’t typically analyze public figures. The reticence dates back to 1964, during Barry Goldwater’s run for President. Then, like now, many shrinks believed that the candidate was psychologically damaged โ€” but unlike now, many diagnosed him for a Fact magazine special issue titled, “The Unconscious of a Conservative: A Special Issue on the Mind of Barry Goldwater.”

The headline itself โ€” “1,189 Psychiatrists say Goldwater is Psychologically Unfit to be President!” โ€” prompted the American Psychiatric Association to issue the so-called “Goldwater Rule”: “It is unethical for a psychiatrist to offer a professional opinion unless he or she has conducted an examination” of the patient in question.

As a result, shrinks are the only professionals who are not allowed to offer their expertise to journalists trying to explain complicated issues to the public. Indeed, scientists can tell us about global warming, engineers can tell us if a bridge is about to give way, and soldiers can tell us if an enemy is weak or strong. But the mental health of the President? The experts are handcuffed, even as we elected the most paranoid President since Nixon and, clearly, the most self-deluded and dangerous American political figure since Aaron Burr.

Trump defends Bannon, slams the media as the โ€˜opposition party’
Not anymore. For the past few weeks, psychologists have been speaking out, arguing that their profesional integrity, and patriotism, can’t be silenced. The latest? A top psychotherapist from the esteemed Johns Hopkins University Medical School said Trump “is dangerously mentally ill and temperamentally incapable of being president.โ€

Shrinks would love to put Donald Trump on the couch. But he won’t likely undertake psychological treatment. (PATRICKHEAGNEY/GETTY IMAGES/ISTOCKPHOTO)
The expert, John D. Gartner, went on to diagnose Trump with โ€œmalignant narcissism.โ€

Nicole Kidman clarifies her remarks about Donald Trump
Gartner has joined a growing chorus of experts who are so concerned about the president that they are willing to face the wrath of their professional organizations’ gag rules.

In an earlier effort just after the election, thousands of shrinks joined a new group called “Citizen Therapists Against Trumpism,” which quickly released a “Public Manifesto” to warn America about its leader’s apparent psychosis.

Trump complained about inauguration photos to National Park chief
“We cannot remain silent as we witness the rise of an American form of fascism,” the manifesto states.

The psychological warning signs? “Scapegoating …, degrading, ridiculing, and demeaning rivals and critics, fostering a cult of the Strong Man who appeals to fear and anger, promises to solve our problems if we just trust in him, reinvents history and has little concern for truth (and) sees no need for rational persuasion.”

Hate him or love him, but you have to admit, that’s Donald J. Trump!”

The psychiatrists can also see clearly the far reaching global effects and consequences that a mentally ill Trump can have on weak world leaders who would fancy themselves a wannabe Trump and destroy their own people in the process.

The weak, brainless leaders and wannabe leaders in Barbados and the Caribbean comes to mind.
    George Payne comes to mind.

    Thanks for that article.

We just completed its reading and are scared stiff.

This malady and its implications for everything else, is more pervasive, deeper, than we thought at the time.

Pacha….they cannot keep trump for 4 years, a mentally president is non functional, we have been saying this for months….the 60 million who voted for trump are also deranged, as I have been saying for months, the US is infested with tens of millions of mentally ill people, with varying degrees of derangement. ..that is their curse to live with it…..Unfortunately, it got a handle and was propelled into the white house.

You know mental illness is a huge factor when Trump can say that millions of illegals voted, then in the same breath says that a German citizen who has no legal right to vote in the US, was not allowed to vote, the man’s daughter is wondering what the hell Trump is talking about when the German dude is only in the US temporarily and is no friend of Trump. ….they will have to get rid of Trump or he will bring the US to its knees, but he will fight to stay..

Remember those unseen, not earthly forces I was talking about Pacha.

  27. For at least six months, any prudent person who watches TV and reads newspapers, would or should have known that temporary travel restrictions could be imposed by US authorities on “refugees” and on individuals travelling to or from Muslim-majority countries.

The uproar we are seeing over Trump’s executive order on travel is pure BS.

  28. i have seen people with obvious mental defect let in to canada on a regular basis , I can only assume through the refugee program because to get in to a country through normal channels you have to be tested and medically fit.So maybe this isnt so much a ban on people from certain countries but on people likely to become democrat.

This goodly doctor is completely out of touch with reality and cannot accept simple facts!!

I see polls (and I don’t put too much stock in them given recent experience) say 48 % of Americans support the ban while 42 % do not!!

Seems like an awful lot of people, almost half the American population, according to the polls, must be suffering from the inability to see reality.

My bet is not one of them is her patient!!

It is interesting that Trumpโ€™s executive order did not extend to Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt. As it relates to Saudi Arabia, recall that of the 19 hijackers involved in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, 12 were from Saudi Arabia.

The plot becomes more interesting, especially if one takes into consideration that Trump conducts business activities with the three countries mentioned above.

  38. The seven countries on the list are the ones the State Department has on their list …. none added willy nilly ….

In fact, for those who can actually think, refugees were banned from Iraq, one of the seven countries on the State Department list, as recently as 2011 ….. for six months …. by Obama!!

He was way ahead of the curve and he understood that political correctness would play into his hands and hamstring his foes!!

Something is weird with the polls!!

  43. Trump is a cunt and no heavyweight champion of our world

I disagree with your assertion that Tax returns do not prove anything, but note I didnโ€™t say that they would disqualify anyone from winning an election. What was considered โ€œdisqualifyingโ€ once is now accepted e.g. Kennedy was the first Catholic President; Reagan was the first President who was divorced and Barack was the first Black elected to that Office if anyone with those same attributes run for office today those elements would not be seen as impediments in most quarters. Clinton won the Presidency after it was known that he achieved some sort of nirvana in the Oval office when he should have been focused on the nationโ€™s business so if you are liked people will overlook what was once considered โ€œdisqualifyingโ€.

As to your reference about politicians in other countries not releasing their tax information different countries different norms but the day is not far off when those politicians will have to release same.

Tax returns will show where your money is coming from and although one may attempt to camouflage the origin of income by hiding with smart lawyers and establishing Corporate bulwarks those may be breached by equally skilled forensic accountants. Trump has traded on his business โ€œsmartsโ€ for years he has enjoyed enormous celebrity status because of his supposed wealth while Trump the Private citizen is entitled to do that Trump the public citizen should not be afforded the same privacy that he craved for his business in his former life. Trump has the singular ability to affect Stock markets as few other citizens can and when the President uses his Office to attack Corporations by name it should be a matter of transparency if those attacks are beneficial to the Presidentโ€™s bottom line. This is a President who has refused to relinquish his ownership of his private business (the purported transfer to his sons is just another smoke screen) and if the public had access to his personal tax returns it would remove any nagging questions as has been raised by the story from the Washington Post i.e. are the countries targeted by the Muslim ban singled out in part because the Trump Empire doesnโ€™t do business in those countries?

John….if ya been following the news, this has nothing to do with a state department compiled list…, get out of your own head. The list was compiled by dumb ass Guiliani who is nit an immigration lawyer and one or two firmer judges fron Texas…who are just asholes.

Most if nit all of the state department have resigned and besides, the countries like Saudi Arabia nit on the list, Trump has business interests or hotels there, a clear conflict since they are the ones funding terrorism…..keep up with facts and reality or stop wasting space.

For those not familiar with federal laws…every last one of Trump’s crazy executive orders can be shut down, he is just but one branch of government with limited executive powers, nothing he signs off on is written in stone..,.the federal arm of government can rescind everyone.

So dont celebrate because no one has to accept any of his executive orders and everyone one can be tied up in the federal supreme courts for decades…, take it from someone who knows, he cannot live long enough to see any of his crazy orders come to reality.

  48. Saw Guiliani interviewed last night and understood the tactics!!!

He was smiling all over his face!!

Saw also interview with WH press person this morning too!!

WH press person says list is what State Deptartment has!!!!

Adds, list is not finite and can be expanded so you might get to see all those countries you want added.

Guess that is for State Department to determine!!

It isn’t going to listen to you!!

…. and yes, there is an element of politics involved in limiting the countries to the list the State Department made!!!

Pretty sure the list will expand but all Trump needs to do is to follow the guidelines!!!

There is method in the apparent madness!!!

Trump is following the rules and precedent!!

The press just shows itself up once more for not doing its job from the beginning and still seeking to create the appearance of chaos.

My bet is that Trump read the press during the campaign and taunted it to get it to respond as he wanted … which it did.

So Trump is also to blame for the position in which the press finds itself!!!!

But it is not for him to fix, it is for the press.

I see Megan Kelly has major changes planned for her new network!!

That’s what I think you will see more and more of over time.

The press willingly placed itself in a position where it could have been manipulated … and it was!!!

All it had to do was just do its job without fear or favour.

Small wonder polls show less than a third of Americans trust it!!

I can only laugh at the situation described in Canada with its press above!!!

Guiliani is garbage, father was a petty thief, italian immigrant wuih a lengthy criminal recird and regular resident at Sing Sing prison in Ossining….for theft….Guiliani is a fraud.

Lawson…I see my future husband Justin will take in the refugees that the mentally ill Trump will deport, ah gotta admit Canada dont have the financial capacity although they have the space….Harper broke Canada…lol

But at least ya will have grateful workers….go Justin, that’s my dude.

  50. It is enlightening to read John’s views on Trump’s victory, attitude and tactics.

Many on BU would be at a loss to understand the thinking of his ancestors here, who were able to rationalise slavery – and the centuries-long degradation of Blacks …on the argument that it was the ‘right and christian’ thing to do.
Like John (and Lawson, Money B and Chad) they too were able to look past the pain, suffering, unfairness, barbarity and racism in their policies ..as they defended the ‘overall good’ being achieved.

No wonder then, that he praises the Quakers so much – people who took 250 years to come to the realisation that Blacks were human beings…. this is John’s idea of righteous people….

    Come soon Lord!!!
